With Manchester City having lost their last two English Premier League matches, many are worried about what they will do against Brighton.
Brighton are one of the strongest teams in the Premier League but they don't seem to be able to do well against Manchester City in this match. Manchester City are already under a lot of pressure after dropping points in the last two matches so the match against Brighton is very important for them and they will never want to drop points in this match. Another positive for Manchester City is that this match will be played at the Etihad Stadium where Manchester City are favorites against any team. Brighton can lose against Manchester City by a big margin in this match.
I can't doubt Brighton's performance against Manchester City because they are a very strong team. As we all know, their performances always become stronger than we ever think. I can remember how they played against Liverpool. I do not believe that they were able to draw against Liverpool, and it happened. They are very strong, and I can see that they can compete with any club in the Premier League. If not for the penalty that Liverpool against them, Brighton would have gotten 3 points against them. Manchester City performances have become bad since the absence of Kelvin De Bruyne, so I can see that Brighton against Manchester City will be a big challenge, even though the match will be played at the Etihad Stadium.
I've heard rumours that Manchester City is interested in acquiring Toni Kroos from Real Madrid when his contract with the team expired in January. Did we think that would be successful? I don't think Real Madrid would let Kroos go since he is the best midfielder who always used to pass the ball to the front players of Real Madrid, and many of the forward players of Real Madrid will never forget Kroos because he truly helped them score goals. And to be honest, I think that's why Manchester City wants to sign him and even wants to pay him more than he currently makes with Real Madrid. However, now that I think about it, I think Real Madrid could use this chance to acquire one tougher player from Manchester City in exchange because they need one. I advise Real Madrid to acquire Haaland or Alvarez.
If the rumor regarding the acquisition of Toni Kroos from Real Madrid is true I believe Pep Guardiola has chosen to act in the greatest interest of the team's continued success. Despite his advanced age, Kroos is a fantastic midfielder who Manchester City would need to acquire in order to replace De Bruyne because he is not always available. He is proceeding to the club because of this. Now they need a player like Kroos, and I think he can give the team its greatest performance.
Real Madrid won't likely request any Manchester City players in return for Toni Kroos, in my opinion. They currently have all the personnel they require, including guys who can score goals for the team and midfielders other than Toni Kroos. If the sale goes through, I think Real Madrid will only trade Kroos due of his efforts and multiple wins for the team.
