Problems keep coming for Manchester United and now their defensive midfielder, Casemiro, is reportedly suffering from an ankle injury. Casemiro suffered an injury during the World Cup qualifying match between Brazil vs Venezuela and he was forced to continue playing until he finally experienced severe swelling before being replaced by another player. I think Casemiro is overreacting and if he was in pain he should have asked the trainer to replace him earlier. Casemiro also did not train with Manchester United and is currently still waiting for further news. I think he should be able to think that if he gets seriously injured then the team he plays for will also suffer a loss and here Manchester United is again feeling the impact of losing Casemiro.

@rendravolt I’m not surprised he’s got injured too because he’s been playing non stop and he should have been rested long back by Ten Hag to ensure that he’s remains fit for the long run. Furthermore Manchester United board have launched an inquiry as to why so many player’s are getting injured and the most obvious answer is Ten Hag failure to rotate his squad and inability to provide rest to his player’s.

From the stats I gathered, I think Manchester city are still well in check in the title race and the reason for this set back they are currently experiencing is just because of the absence of the main backbone of this Manchester city side which is the present of Kevin de byrune. His absence has been really felt by this team and I think the faster he recovers the better for the team.
to win the title in the EPL, Man City is still strong enough to do it, even to get the title in the UCL, Man City and Guardiola are still able to do it even though sadness occurred when De Bruyne had not recovered from the injury he suffered. but that does not mean losing the injured player. Man City will be weak on one side as long as the team still has Haalanda, Rodri will definitely improve his performance little to get the title that has been planned. even if Rodri is not as good as De Bruyne, his talent is good, but he can replace the role other injured players to continue to secure victory.

In the upcoming match, they will compete against opponents who are not strong enough, such as Brighton, and in the UCL match, Man City will have to face Young Boys and this is also not a strong team for Guardiola. so the next 2 matches will be very easy to beat but you have to be a little consistent because the match schedule has a slightly closer break but I am quite sure Man City will still shine at the top of the standings at the end of season.

There is no Kevin De Bruyne in the squad will have a big impact and so far Manchester City have suffered consecutive defeats in several previous matches without the best midfielder that Belgium has. They are still the strongest team in Europe and the problem is that they cannot achieve a promising victory without the presence of an energetic midfielder and losing several other players due to injury could also result in Manchester City losing.

The tight competition schedule has caused several players to experience fatigue and injuries, this condition will be quite dangerous for Manchester City and this condition cannot be attributed to last season because currently several clubs in the Premier League have shown big changes. So the competition will be much tighter and especially they play in the Champions league.
Manchester City have face consequence when losing the important player Kevin De Bruyne and Rodri, loss two matches in a row is proof how Pep Guardiola scheme not really working with absent both player exactly Rodri absent have bigger impact. In Champion League, Manchester City still in the winning trend but faced difficult in Premier League match after defeating by Wolves and Arsenal. Next match, Manchester City against Brighton Albion and possibility with Pep Guardiola stopping loss trend and return to top perform.

Have many days with international break give time for Pep Guardiola looking for right replacement for Rodri and De Bruyne position, will next match against Brighton Albion back to winning trend? or Manchester City have get third loss in Premier League and become bad start for Premier League tittle race.

Kevin De Bruyne is one of the most valuable players for Manchester City without doubt. His absence due to injury is really unlucky for them as well. However I don't think this would affect them deeply anyway. Because they are still one of the strongest teams in Europe now. They are full of world stars playing in coherence together.

There has been some drop in their form recently but it is no problem at all. I remember Manchester City having way worse times in one season and they were way behind the leader. But they still made an unforgettable comeback and won the title by a serious point gap.

Mistakes must have been learnt but not completely. Arsenal is still yet to sign a perfect replacement for Saka just incase Saka gets Injured for a long time.
Neto the Portuguese winger has been linked to gunners, I do hope he gets signed up.
Mikel Arteta had a good squad last season, he wasn't having enough depth and replacements for important players.

Against Manchester City, they played well and Mikel Arteta did his part well also. He brought in the perfect players to win him the game and also to hold down the game for him.
Arsenal should have learnt from their mistake last season and i believe they won't like to take chances, they would had won the league if not for the injury crisis they had last season that cause them to drop points, therefore they've got good substitutions for some of their attackers for instance Trossard is a fine sub for Martinelli but as Saka got injured the team still did good against Man City without him, however they'll still need to get suitable substitute player for him cause they might not be always lucky playing with him or a good substitute for him.

I think more additions should be included by the winter windows they'll need to strengthen all part of their squad against injury sp as not to share same fate as last season's, well i enjoyed their game against city it was very interesting, they gave there best amd it was very good enough to secure them the three points.
While they were really that good last season, they missed out on the league championship because they were unprepared. It was going very well until a certain week, when they fell behind after losing their most important weapons. Since Arsenal beat Manchester City this season, they have grown a lot in my eyes right now.

It's not a bad start, really. Chelsea have had good wins in the last few weeks, much better than last season. Arsenal have to win this match by all means if they want to win the league championship this year, there is no room for mistakes like last season. I predict that both teams will play safe in this match and there will not be too many goals. Under 2.5 seems ideal to me.

My belief Arsenal is definitely going to make the squad better by bringing in new players in the next transfer window. You might know Arsenal already lost the English Premier League title twice where they could have easily won. And yes I agree that had happened because they had some problems. However, you know they are not going to take any chance again. In my opinion, not anytime soon. That is why they are going to bring in players that will make the squad stronger. And another thing is they will also have to remember that in this season the competition is going to be harder. So they literally cannot fuck up at all.

Manchester City has taken an interest in signing Toni Kroos:
Manchester City appear to be looking for a veteran presence to replace Ilkay Gundogan in midfield. Spanish outlet Defensa Central reports that Real Madrid is targeting Toni Kroos as a free agent in 2024.
His contract at Madrid expires next June, and his age means he could negotiate with clubs outside Spain when the January window opens; if City join, they can offer a pre-contract deal to see him move to Manchester once his current contract expires.Kroos fended off interest from clubs in the United States and Saudi Arabia in the summer before signing a new one-year deal with Real Madrid, but that decision is likely to be tested by Manchester City afterwards. The same report in Spain suggests City is willing to offer Real Madrid a two-year contract for twice the current salary of £6.8 million.
What do you think, guys? Is that really happening, or is it just a rumor? Give us your thoughts.

With Gundogan out and De Bruyne out of the squad due to injury, Manchester City's midfield is now quite depleted. However their performance is still very strong due to Guardiola's excellent match tactics and good understanding between the players.  But I believe Guardiola is well aware that winning the Premier League and Champions League titles with a shaky midfield will not be possible for them.  This is probably why he is now interested in Toni Kross.

But so far this seems to be my complete rumor, Real Madrid are yet to add an experienced striker to their squad. In this case if Toni Kross leaves the team,  Madrid's performance will become weaker. Madrid will probably try to keep Kross in the squad for one more season.

Manchester city definitely still have chances to get the league title, but then if it happens they win the League title again it will begin to make the league boring because it will be the third or forth time In a roll so it's going to look like the winners are certain already there's nothing to looking forward to in the premier league, so I would love to see Arsenal or Liverpool get it this season.
Manchester City only are 2 points less than Tottenham and Arsenal and Premier League has 30 more matches till its ending. With deep player resource, Manchester City has big advantage in a long run with other clubs and I have no doubt about this advantage of Manchester City against Tottenham and Arsenal.

Those competitors are strong and competitive, temporarily have excellent forms but in a long run, they will need a lot of luckiness to have as less injured cases as possible in their clubs, to compete with Manchester City for the crown.

Manchester City is theoretically unstoppable with many top international stars playing with their national team and driving City to victories but sometimes even with an excellent coach and good players, there is moment of failure..
They can not win all matches and their win streak can be stopped by any team and they can not win trophy in all Premier League seasons. Their domination in Premier League is clear and in last 6 seasons, only Liverpool won it in one season. This is evidence for Manchester City domination in the league but they are rebuilding their team after Gundogan, Marez left their team and some key star players begin to have more problems with their bodies like De Bruyne. Soon Manchester City will reach to a season they will be no longer as strong as normal and will give more chances for other clubs to take the trophy.

There has been some drop in their form recently but it is no problem at all. I remember Manchester City having way worse times in one season and they were way behind the leader. But they still made an unforgettable comeback and won the title by a serious point gap.
City are used to winning the league from behind, they stay as close as possible to the top of the table, and once we get into the second half of the season, they hit top gear, start their long winning run, usurp whichever team in on top and then go on to win the league, they did it to Liverpool a couple of times and they did it to Arsenal last season.

Having said that, things might be different this season, but that is only if the other top clubs remain consistent, i am pretty sure there is no team in the league that wants City to win four in a row, but they have to stop them on the pitch, and we'd see how things pan out.

Regarding the performance of teams, I think Manchester City could resist in the long run and will get back their first spot and might win Champions League again. I find it as the best team and I keep voting early for it here to be the winner again and again.

They are the only teams who has the potential to probably win, they are doing well and have matching strength enough if they could get city out of the way, but I fear city is putting as much efforts as they are putting into the UCL so they may want to get a big combo by the end of the season. If they get the UCL again it will be two in a roll they have gotten so far but then it may not play out that way as they have got too many strong contenders in the UCL

It definitely had an impact and there had to be other options for Manchester City when De Bruyne was absent from their squad for a long time because they struggled to control their attacks and their ball flow became unstable.
The presence of players like Rodri can be an option, it's just that at this time Rodri is also still receiving punishment for card accumulation which we know that he still needs at least 1 more match for his sentence to be completed.
This is clearly inconvenient because the absence of KDB and Rodri makes their 2 matches lose points but for the championship problem it is clear they are still favorites because this will only have an impact for a few matches not as a whole.

There is no doubt that Kevin De Bruyne is one of the most important players for Manchester City and he proved it in the last season. I think one reason for Manchester City to lose some points in this season and not having the perfect performance they had before is the absence of Kevin De Bruyne and Guadiola had to find alternative players for it.

I agree and Kevin De Bruyne is one of the most powerful midfielders in this game. I am a lucky person to see this guy play the game, he is like the Messi or Ronaldo of the midfield.
He's good but not at good as lionel messi and ronaldo. De bruyne can act as a play maker that was helping its club so much. I have seen many people are praising his performance but since de bruyne was facing injury and he was absent the the early season.
Pep is not having other solution than buy a new midfielder from another club. That's also the reason why pep was aiming to get dani olmo from leipzig. It's caused by the club really needs someone who can play as good as de bruyne in building a creative attack for the club. Im not even doubting it right now if pep will be trying to go all in for olmo. I do really support manchester city to get a creative attacking midfielder that can maximizing haaland's potential.
Manchester city without a creative midfielder is nothing other than average team. The key was on the de bruyne that can make haaland's skill become very active at this moment. Let's see which name that will be picked by de bruyne.

Maybe they have, but Arteta also knows that this competition won't be decided between Arsenal and Manchester City, but between the long fight between the clubs with the other amazing opponents. The aftermath has to wait.
For me, if I have seen the progress of this season, of course there are still two teams that are closely linked to each other in the fight for the title this season. And that could be between arsenal and Manchester city because last season these two teams provided quite strong competition until the end of the season in the race for the title. It could be that this season they will do it again because these two teams are equally strong and still have a pretty good run so far. It could even be said that they will swap places again in the coming weeks.

However, for arteta, he certainly knows how to beat Manchester City this season, so arteta has a better chance of maintaining Arsenal's concentration in the upcoming matches. In the premier League, only manchester city is strong enough because they have registered themselves as the strongest dominant in recent seasons.

I agree and Kevin De Bruyne is one of the most powerful midfielders in this game. I am a lucky person to see this guy play the game, he is like the Messi or Ronaldo of the midfield.

I also think de Bruyne is a very special player. But even without him, Manchester City win their matches. Manchester City have a very large and very high quality squad. They brought the best players in the world to the team and the best manager in the world is coaching them. The absence of a player is not felt. However, if 5-6 players are missing at the same time, there may be a problem. Apart from that, they have very solid rotations. For a team that plays around 70 matches a year, it's important to have strong squad depth. Manchester City management does this planning very well.
KDB is a silent achiever and because he doesn't glory going to media to make some noise some people tends to underrate his abilities in the field of play. Every good player and football lovers know the worth of KDB in every midfield. Guardiola himself understands this very well, that is why he doesn't joke with Kelvin.
Even anytime Haaland is interviewed, he doesn't stop emphasizing the abilities of Kelvin in the midfield. It is clear even to the blind the space Kelvin has left in the midfield of Manchester city. Should Kelvin be around, I do not think that Arsenal would be able to win Manchester city last week.
I wish KDB fast recovery so that he can rejoin his team for a greater performance.

Tottenham Hotspur 20:00 Fulham

Match of the day, City - Brighton, it can end with loads of goals.

Week 9 matches would commence this weekend after the playes return from the international break, and i can't wait cause I've really missed the EPL, the week 8 was very interesting and Arsenal was the talk of the week for beating the league champions Manchester City,  and Tottenham are suprisenly rocking the top of the league, there new manager even won the Motm award, it was well deserving, well let's see what this week unfolds.

Liverpool are favorites to win against Everton and i don't think Everton would stand a chance at annfield, Manchester have lost enough and can't afford to drop more points, i think they'll defeat Brighton they're still without Debruyne but Rodri has finished serving his punished and would be back to the starting 11,Chelsea Arsenal derby is the match of the week and would be very tough for both teams, it might end up draw, Manchester United are not consistent but i expect a win against Sheffield, however the current league winners would win Fulham.

Without Kevin De Bruyne, it is very difficult to keep the performance stable. But it is not impossible. Last season we saw consistent good performances from City.
That's true without Kevin De Bruyne Manchester City will find it very difficult to perform very well although not because the Kevin De Bruyne is the most skillful player in Manchester City but however the role he plays on Manchester city is so important that the team can easily get affected by his absent.

Although I heard his injury may last for three months, who knows if he will be able to recover before there next two to three matches, but however irrespective of the absent of Kevin De Bruyne, Manchester city remains a serious rival to all clubs, and also with the kind of coach they have in the person of Pep Guardiola after seeing what happened on there last match against Arsenal he will never allow such mistake again, by making sure the team remains inform.
