I have no idea what's wrong with Man City, but what looks like is that they have lost their confidence, and it seems that's what makes them struggle when doing build up, and their back line is also messy because they are not neatly coordinated. Rodri's absence may indeed have an impact but with so many good players at Man City they can at least do something else.

Well, we just have to see whether Man City will bounce back in the remaining time of this match, or they will just concede again.

3 - 0 now, Totenham scored another goal.

It's obvious Pep must rebuild his club in the winter transfer window. They are clueless without a good DM like Rodri. Also, things worsen when he decided to play Rico - Bernardo - Gundogan as pivots. It would never worked.

I must admit City's current squad has no motivation, no effort, and no diciplinary to win the game. I don't know what they are thinking, but using a highline defense against a counter-attack team like Tottenham is kinda stupid.

Pep shall offload, then buy new players to strengthening the squad especially on his mid. He must do something to save the club.

Is Pep Guardiola's performance now starting to decline? It looks like it will be a bad match even though there is still a long time and the possibility of Manchester City can equalize but I'm sure Tottenham will keep the score that he has kept 0-2 now.

Of course I hope this can be a Manchester City victory because betting on this team, if you lose then there is no hope anymore but in the second half you can turn things around, I hope you can make a comeback for City.

Pedro Porro scored the third goal of the match for Tottenham.

Chelsea on the other hand was able to show their capacity in beating Leicester City in a 2-1 game today, making them match up their 22 points with a point beneath Manchester City right now they're still in the third place ahead of Arsenal with same point but have a greater goal advantage. Brighton is also on the same pace with Arsenal and Chelsea. I like the energy coming from these 3 clubs right now and they might just move in this direction for the couple of matches ahead.

But even now (after the end of the first half) I am not sure that the bookmakers are quoting the game fairly - you can bet on a Tottenham win with odds of 1.52, and on a City win with odds of 5.90. Even taking into account that Tottenham often plays worse in the second halves, it looks undervalued.

I hope we are not a seeing a reoccurrence of what happened to Erik Ten Hag in Manchester United. He was a coach that was destined to be sacked at the end of last season but the club felt he should still be in charge. Maybe Pep Guardiola was supposed to leave Manchester City at the end of the season but his contract has been extended. From what I am seeing today, City might be facing one of its biggest challenge in many years. For a club like Tottenham who have not been consistent this season to be leading them with three goals, it means that something is really wrong.

A lot of Chelsea players are showing more improvement than last even Jackson is standing a good grand but I love the change, look at arsenal that have been struggling been struggling to win the trophy and Chelsea is coming from no were to actually to flip arsenal the thing is just very annoying because after we have worked very and is now as if Chelsea is now taking our glory by even taking too three position.

I was thinking Pep Guardiola would have gotten everything right after the international break, but I can see that there is no improvement in Manchester City's performance. Tottenham scored two goals in the first half of the match, which I never expected. I was thinking the match would be a tough one and might end up being a draw, or Manchester city will be getting a win, with a slight goal difference, but everything is just different, from the way the first half of the match went, then Tottenham will be winning the match conveniently, which is really a disappointment to Manchester City.

No one knew Manchester City's performance is going to drop like this, they haven’t been able to win their last few matches, and I am sure they won’t be getting a win in this current match because Tottenham is already ahead of them with two goals, and I don’t know how they are going to equalize in the match.

Postecoglou's scheme worked well in this match because instead of trying to press and match Manchester City's pace, they played more defensively and waited for Manchester City to make a mistake and until now it has proven successful.
The 2 goals scored by Maddison in this match made them a little comfortable for the first half, but it is undeniable that 45 minutes of the second half looks like it will be complicated for them because after all we must be aware that in the end Pep does not want to be missed again by losing points especially they are playing home for now.

Pep's attacking pattern is still not visible and the supply of the ball to Haaland is also still very easy to read. Their midfield must have a play maker in the second half so that Manchester City's attack pattern is not too monotonous because they only attack from the two wings they have.

6 mins 40 seconds was all the time Tottenham Hotspur needed to turn the Etihad into a madhouse. Coming from a loss before the international break, Man City cannot afford to lose this game because that would mean five straight losses.
Tottenham played fine, controlled football in the first half, completely dominating the game and frustrating Man City and I know that they too can't believe it because they expected to be utterly dealt with by City at the Etihad but from the looks of things, it's the other way round.
Last season, Man City came from two goals down in the first half to win the game by 4-2 when they played Tottenham Hotspur and this should be another reason Ange Postecoglu's side should not relent and think they've already won the game.

As long as Manchester City's midfield is still not filled by KDB, it looks like the situation will still remain the same where their attacks will only remain as if they have no effect at this point and indeed it was proven in this match when the quality of Manchester City's attacks became raw because indeed the possession of the ball they had was just limited to that without any movement because Manchester City only seemed to have the ball, attacking by utilizing the speed of the players and wasted opportunities because they were confused to flow the ball to Haaland.

The first half ended for Tottenham's 2-goal advantage, whether Manchester City will continue to get less than optimal results for this match just like the previous match. If Pep wants to make this match a point for them unlike before then there must be a change of scheme that he must do in the second half because honestly Manchester City's attack still looks bad until now.

You are right, Man City's back line performed very badly. Several passes from the build-up efforts failed and were successfully cut off by Tottenham's midfielders. A bad first half for Man City, and may be a bad result for several years today.
Different if we look at Tottenham's defense line which looks quite strong. A 2-goal advantage will certainly increase the confidence of the players and they will be brave enough to develop the game.
If this result lasts until the end of the match, maybe Pep and Man City are experiencing a curse.

Yes it was a beautiful shot from Bukayo Saka and that's what I miss from Bukayo Saka who always shoots hard from long range. Arsenal is back to winning ways and I hope Arsenal can continue to play well to maintain their victory, by the way Ethan Nwanerin scored 1 goal in this match and he is a young player who is still 17 years old and 247 and is now Arsenal's second youngest goal scorer in the Premier League and he will be a potential player if Arteta can develop him well and he is very agile.

I goal and 1 assist from Bukayo Saka was very crucial to Arsenal brilliant win against Nothingham Forest who had a good away record this season, I watched the match and I am very impressed with the gunners performance throughout the match, honestly Ethan Nwaneri entry into match changed the game and equally made some fantastic passes in the midfield and was rewarded with goal to cap his superb performance, I think Arsenal need consistency to enable the team to catch up with Liverpool and Man City hopefully if the team can replicate today's brilliant performance week in week out.
