I will not doubt the easy victory that Manchester City will get in their first match in the Premier League this season, especially their defeat in the Community Shield match will certainly be a big motivation and if you look at the team's strength, of course Manchester City is much stronger than Burnley.
I will bet on Manchester City's big win in this game. I think that at the start of the season a top team like Manchester City will not let their guard down and they will focus on achieving big wins in order to secure the best position and stabilize the team's mentality.
Burnley is not a team to be underrated in the Premier League because they struggled to qualify by winning the Championship League with just three defeats throughout the competition. I also think they are strong enough to be given consideration in the EPL because of how good the team is and how hard they always look to be defeated by big Premier League big clubs.
As said earlier, Manchester City may win the match, but not as easily as we are expecting because they will find it a bit difficult before winning it.
If I will place a bet on this particular match, I will play both teams to score because I am sure Burnley will not go without a goal in their first Premier League match of the season.
I think this is one of the biggest setbacks that Chelsea could suffer from so early on. Nkunku has played some outstanding games for his former club and I believe he would have done really well for Chelsea. He even needed an operation and will be ruled out for an extended period of time. These are the variables that no coach can really account for. Chelsea is still ok, but that is also an issue many clubs have when they have only one strong offender and that offender suffers from an injury. If they have two of the same quality there is always trouble for one of them because of sitting on the bench.
Injury is the main reason why a team should have more than one quality player in a particular position, especially in the striking zone. Now this will be a very hard start for Pochettino because he will be starting the League with a very strong opponent without a first-choice striker due to injury, and we know how aggressive Liverpool can be, especially as they will not be playing in the UEFA Champions League this season.
Both Chelsea and Liverpool's main aim is to fight for the Premier League title; therefore, every point is important for them all. But I am sure Pochettino will improvise and use some of his wingers since they have them to play the striking rule, or probably go for a striker in the market before the summer closes.
