Mikel Arteta is not having a proper time in the Emirates Stadium this season, there's actually more to this phase because everything ruined at the moment. He's fighting to accumulate significant points, his days at Emirates Stadium is numbered following their underlay poor performance. Arsenal have completely lost tracks when it comes the English Premier League title race this season. This is no good news for the club currently, especially not now that Mikel Arteta have risen the high hopes of the team's supporters.

I'm not sure why we make Arsenal looks like they were better than this these past years. Arteta literally gave Arsenal that chance they have made many years and put their name on the map of the Premier League again hence why they can even argue among people. Beside, he still working hard to push Arsenal above top 4 which is not bad unlike Manchester United Erik was dragging down every day, I will tell you that Arteta is better than many coaches this season.

Its unfortunate that Arsenal has been under playing but it's all there because of their forward and the club very stubborn, they have refused to take in new more striker. These ones they have wouldn't take them far. If the club finally comes to their sense with the January transfer, they should be able to sign some competent players this season to be able to compete with other clubs.

Arsenal should have no difficulty if they just finish in the top 4 and get a UCL ticket. It's just that we don't know what will happen at the end of this season. And it would be a huge surprise if Arsenal at the end of the season couldn't stay in the top 4.

Arsenal's current position, even though they are ranked in the top 4, Arsenal's points tally of 19 points is actually the same as Chelsea, Nottingham and Brighton's points, which also have 19 points. It seems that the season is really fierce not only in Serie A but in the Premier League there is also tighter competition.

According to a local proverb in my dialect, the best way you know a market that will sell in the evening is greatly dependent on the way the market started in the morning. Arsenal haven't yet shown that energy like those who are ready to take the UCL home any time soon when they are still struggling at the fought position with Chelsea ahead of them though they've both got same point. Liverpool is still very much at the top right now with their doings. I hope Arsenal could have performed better but what they're playing now isn't still looking like those who are ready to take the UCL home, anytime soon.

In the good times of a team, everyone is with that team, but in the bad times of the team, those who support the team and who believe that their team will come back again, those fans are true fans who love their team. Manchester City is not a team that has performed poorly on a regular basis but some of their key midfielders are missing at the moment and some players are not at their best which is why Manchester City's performance seems a bit random. However, this poor performance is temporary because Pep Guardiola is still in charge of Manchester City and he certainly will not lose faith in his team so easily. If they are patient and can adopt the right strategy then I think Manchester City will be back to their normal performance.
Well, that is a normal reaction from all football fans who have the most favorite team. But I personally always assess everything quite realistically for all teams. If I see a team that I like experiencing a setback and I see that the situation within the team is quite bad then I will realize that it will take a long time to recover. But even though I am not a Man City fan, I agree if someone says that Man City will soon rise. Because this team has a great coach, namely Pep Guardiola. And this team also has great players in it.

But the Man City squad has not been able to play with their main squad completely. So it is understandable if they experienced a slight setback, although previously in the last few seasons situations like today rarely occurred even when many players were injured.

And currently Man City does have several players who are still injured. Fortunately, de Bruyne has recovered, but there are still some who have not recovered, namely:
- Oscar Bobb
- Rodri
- Manuel Akanji
- Matheus Nunes.

To become a title contender like the last two seasons, Arsenal can only hope that Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea slip up in the next matches. Now Arsenal are 9 points behind the leaders, a fairly large gap, and of course difficult to reduce. Injuries to key players have indeed been the main indicator of Arsenal decline this season, competition in the European zone has become fiercer with the rise of Chelsea and several other Premier League contestants. Arteta must evaluate his team weaknesses thoroughly, so that Arsenal does not lose the opportunity to become a trophy contender. To finish in the top four, it seems that Arsenal will not have any difficulty.
For now, Arsenal is really quite far behind Liverpool's title competition. In fact, Liverpool has also created a 5 point difference with Man City who is ranked second. So it could be said that Liverpool is currently getting further away from Man City and Arsenal. Chelsea and Arsenal currently have the same number of points. And maybe if Arsenal wants to get back into the competition for the title then Arsenal really has to hope that Liverpool and Man City will lose points again which could bring Arsenal back closer to the top of the rankings. But the problem is I think Liverpool looks increasingly solid and it doesn't look like Liverpool will easily drop points.

Arsenal can't win the Premier League anymore with how they've been performing this season, I don't think they'll be able to pick up form and have a chance to win the league again, because Liverpool is in better shape, and I don't think Manchester City will be able to compete with them this season too, they're having a good season and will try to win every title this time.

Chelsea will undoubtedly overtake Arsenal very soon, because, in my opinion, Chelsea are in even better shape than Arsenal, and Arteta has lost form. I believe they should look for a new coach because I do not believe Arteta will win a title this season, what happened last season will happen again this season, with them losing back-to-back titles. Manchester City is facing challenges this season; Guadiola will need to plan to purchase new players because some of his players have yet to return; if he does not try to get new players, they will not progress; even small clubs will have opportunities to compete with Manchester City in the league. Let's see how the competition ends or if Guadiola has the opportunity to win the league title this season again, because football is unpredictable anything can happen.

Something I've noticed about Maresca on some of the players he drops on the bench and expect them to perform wonders in just 4-5 minutes is that he doesn't like these players to play for him. I haven't gotten the main plan he has for players like Nkunku that the fans cried for to come back from injury last season is now a bench warmer this season. I don't understand why Enzo is making players to choose the exit door too soon. If the manager says every player need to fight to get a spot in the starting 11 then what he is doing is the opposite because both the man Nkunku and Felix deserve to be in starting 11 ahead of some players like Jackson and Madueke but Enzo Maresca is not even making a rotation while selecting players, always same players and the only place he had to make some changes is at the defense. Now you're hearing that Nkunku wants to leave the bridge, is Maresca being fair to these guys who only plays conference league, like Nkunku and Felix, I ask is Enzo Maresca being fair to these guys?

Arsenal will not really have a good season, it's obvious that injuries played a huge role in their demise and this may not be a good year. However, they have seen what they could do for the past two seasons, so they know what the yare capable of, and that is why I believe we are going to end up with a good return eventually. I believe we can definitely get a great result one way or another, and because of this we need to remember that maybe this year is a bad one but next year could be great for them.

You never know what happens, injuries play a big role in a teams success, look at how City has been since Rodri left. I mean the results City got after Rodri got injured is literally proof of why Rodri won the Ballon D'or. All the Real Madrid fans could say Vini deserved more, but this dude made City to what it is now, he is one of the most important pieces, if not the most important piece. He was the glue, and now they are falling apart because they don't have him.

Yeah injuries could damage a whole season progress for a team and lower considerably the performance of the group. Gunners are affected but even the other teams have issues that allowed at a point Liverpool to jump in the first rank with 5 points in advance.
The ballon d'Or is another story and I don't want to say that Vinicius deserves it more or Rodri is better but for sure it doesn't mean a lot. Osimhen for example had a great season with Napoli then he faded, there is many others that did the same, yet their departure from the team didn't destroy it because the good team will wake up.

It's temporary time for Manchester City but Liverpool is running already with 7 points difference in the table while Chelsea, Arsenal, Nottingham are coming closer to where they are. It will take to them atleast 1 draw 2 win to reach Liverpool and Liverpool has to lose 3 matches in a row to be able to meet up with them but we know that's not happening now, not under the watch of Arne Slot that is not jokimg right now with Liverpool performance.

Saw Pep saying mind games on one of his interview, I heard Pep saying once they start losing two or three matches then it's posible they are not going to win the trophy and I just laugh because that was just kind games, nothing more. They experienced this last season but it was with Arsenal and they later fumble and lost a lot of matches which gave City a lead to recover but I don't think Liverpool are going to repeat that mistake, City wouldn't get away this time.

Guardiola has done what no coach in the history of Manchester city has done for club, he practically transformed Manchester city into an elite club, winning all the important trophies in club football, the champions league, the premiership, the FA cup, the FIFA world club championship, now if you were the owner of the club, will you sack a manager of such repute because he lost four games in a row?
There are many reasons for Manchester City to keep Pep Guardiola but the coach has many reasons to end his era in Manchester City. Pep Guardiola is a coach like Zidane, when he feels enough, he will leave. Manchester City will not be able to convince Pep Guardiola to stay especially if the coach himself feels that he already hits his limits and players there hit their limits too.
[/quote]
In as much the Manchester city hierarchy may want to retain Pep Guardiola, I do not think Pep Guardiola is similar to Zinedine Zidane, Pep is adventurous and very charismatic and has a very unique philosophy which is very rare amongst football coaches, unlike Zinedine Zidane who is not as versatile as Pep.  Zidane hasn't taken any other job except Real Madrid and hasn't also experienced the kind of pressure that coaches face in football, as a matter of fact, Zinedine Zidane has turned down a number of high profile jobs from top clubs in Europe with reason best known to him.

I'm very happy to see Chelsea has showed some improvements in this game. Unlike last season, when we always lost to Arsenal, we did better by getting a draw.

The first half was so awful, though, second half a bit better and we desperately want to win the game. But we once again lost three points due our goalie.

Our goalie looked like dead wood when he tried to block Martinelli's shot. He was a liability to us. But, i was happy neto saved us with his superb shoot.

A draw is fair. We buried Arsenal's title hopes and at least we don't lose against them. RIP to the Arsenal's title challenge.

Chelsea was able to draw with Arsenal 2-2 even last season, but they lost 5:0 at the Emirates in the second leg. Chelsea's defense is stronger this season than it was the previous one, allowing every opponent to get past them and score goals. It's great to see Chelsea back to their best form this season, it's been a while since we've seen them play at their best level. I was sure Chelsea wouldn't lose because Arsenal has developed into a team that opponents are comfortable playing against, since Arsenal appears to be so weak, I'm not sure if any team will be scared to play them in the Premier League right now
However, Chelsea was abe to draw since one point earned is better than losing the whole point, and they are still in the top four as a result of their draw against Arsenal. Arsenal is no longer in the running for the Premier League title this season, they are nine points from the top of the table, and I don't think Liverpool, who are beating the other teams, will lose nine points before the season end, and Manchester City is still in the running for the trophy.
The result goes to show how much Chelsea's squad have developed under Enzo Maresca and how defiant the Chelsea team is becoming this season, unlike last season when arsenal dominated Chelsea all through the season. The result was a good result for both Chelsea and Arsenal as they both couldn't have settled for anything less because both teams were very cautious of their defence and didn't give the opponent the chance on goal, but it still doesn't mean that Arsenal's title hopes has ended, we still have a long way to go and there are still many games left to play especially during the return legs where arsenal would have the opportunity to close the gap on Manchester city, Liverpool or whoever could be at the top before the end of the season.

With the current good condition I doubt Liverpool can slip, on the contrary I feel this advantage will be used as well as possible to collect points.
But for Man City and Chelsea I can say yes, Pep has not been able to stabilize his team from consecutive defeats, as well as Chelsea, even though they have developed, there is still a gap for opponents to beat them.
In other words, Arsenal this season is far from the hope of winning the title that has been dreamed of for so long, but Arteta's top 3 position can bring it, but is it worth it?

I have the same feeling that City's failures are temporary, they are a great team with a very good coach and Guardiola will do everything to correct this in the coming games. We are used to the fact that City have been stable for many seasons, but a few unsuccessful matches can happen to any team, especially when injuries haunt their players. They have to play the next matches with Tottenham and Feyenoord, opponents whom they can beat, and then there is an important match with Liverpool, in case of victory they will be able to reduce the gap, it is not too late to start correcting everything.

Although Manchester City got four consecutive defeats in all competitions, of course it will not make Manchester City fire Pep Guardiola. Because of course, Pep Guardiola will still have a good effort to be able to restore Manchester City's performance in a short time. Because if Pep Guardiola fails to restore Manchester City's performance quickly, then  of course it will make Manchester City's position also bad. Because Pep Guardiola has great qualities as a head coach, of course Manchester City will continue to support Pep Guardiola's efforts at this moment to stay on track for the title in the standings.

I still believe that Pep Guardiola still has the ability to fix the negative results that have been experienced by the Manchester City team in its last few matches. Because Pep Guardiola is not the type of coach who gives up with bad results, so I still have faith that Pep Guardiola is still able to resolve every problem he is currently facing and will make Manchester City win the upcoming matches this season even though they are slightly behind Liverpool in the current Premier League standings.

City is really not in an unusual situation, especially in the last few weeks across competitions. In the 4 matches they have played, Pep Guardiola's team has not been as usual, having to swallow their matches with defeat. The downward trend that has occurred in City lately, clearly cannot be separated from several of its core players who have been injured. As you said, I am also sure that Pep Guardiola will bring his team out of the downward trend of his team. Clearly, he will not be satisfied with what Manchester City is currently experiencing. The more they experience results that are not as expected, Pep will correct his team as soon as possible. Likewise with the club, they will not remove Pep from the head coach's chair at Etihad. We'll see when they play the 12th round later hosting Spus, after that competing in the UCL against Feyenoord. then, visiting Anfield, Liverpool's headquarters. Well, I'm pretty sure Pep will correct his team and target full points in every match. In addition, the match against Liverpool can reduce the points difference if Pep Guardiola's squad is able to get full points. What is certain is that they are trying to get back on track, but Pep will push his players to play optimally regardless of several players who are still injured. Let's see, whether Pep will immediately restore the performance of his team, we will see it after they will start their matches.

Management does not need to fire Pep Guardiola because his contract will expire at the end of the season, if they start to be dissatisfied with his performance due to the negative results achieved by Manchester City, then there will be no negotiation of a contract extension at the end of the season. Although Guardiola position is currently safe, he also has the responsibility to resolve the problems that occurred in the last four matches. Manchester City is threatened with not being able to continue its dominance if it does not immediately improve its quality and it will be an unpleasant farewell if the club and Guardiola decide not to continue their collaboration.

Arsenal are not as strong as were last season and there are a few things that may not be able to get them out of the pressure after having three bad games although the last time they faced Chelsea they managed to get a point at Chelsea's home.
Arteta must try to make some changes in the upcoming games because if he doesn't do it then Arsenal's chances of competing for the title will be further behind.

They have failed to maximize the strength of the team this season even though they are influenced by several core players who are injured.
The race will be even tougher as other challengers are also getting stronger with some changes this season.
Since Mikel Arteta became Arsenal's head coach, Arsenal has had their best season in the last two Premier League seasons when they failed to win the Premier League title. I know some Arsenal key players are injured, which is the reason why they are finding it difficult to win their matches in the league, but Arsenal's performance at the start of this Premier League season was not as strong compared to their start in the last two Premier League seasons. Even though Arsenal's key players who are injured regain fitness, Arsenal will not be able to challenge for the Premier League title this season because Arsenal's players lack the energy and confidence to win their matches this season. I think Arsenal will know they are slowly returning, and if time is not taken, they will not qualify in the top four of the Premier League table.

I was just thinking about what it would take to see Pep Guardiola getting fired! Cheesy I have always thought that it is impossible for him to ever lose his job and I still think it is, but from a hypothetical point of view, I wonder when a club's management would decide to sack him? Cheesy Four losses is of course not enough. He could probably lose 8 consecutive games and still wouldn't get fired. Probably 12... But it is a new situation that Pep Guardiola hasn't been in yet. This could either snowball and Manchester City is far more nervous than usually or they will soon answer with an impressive winning streak.
Even if Pep Guardiola lose more than half of the matches he will play this season, I don't think Manchester city will ever think of firing him because his achievements so far is bigger than just one season of bad results. Pep Guardiola is the man that made Manchester city what they are today. He transformed the club to what we are seeing today, so there is no amount of bad results that he will have this season that will make his club sack him. Just like every aspect of human lives, things ain't always good all the time, so it is just one of those things in life. We have seen Pep lose matches in the past and he always comes back stronger. Pep Guardiola is definitely going to respond with winning streaks. There are managers that are beyond sacking and Guardiola has earn that badge of a manager that's beyond sacking in my opinion.
Manchester City declining performance is indeed surprising to us, especially with Guardiola reputation so far as one of the best coaches in the world, but it is undeniable that the injuries of key players such as KDB and Rodri have had a huge impact on their performance and also consistency this season, especially so far they no have a strong squad depth after not doing much transfer activity last summer, consecutive defeats and maybe even his failure to win the trophy this season will not affect his position as a coach, even now their had trying hard to extend Guardiola contract which is indeed one more season left, I think the management and fans will of course understand the possibility of failing to be championship this season, because they still really appreciate what Guardiola has given to Manchester City so far.
