The last game they lost before this one was in September as far as I can see, I tried to check and that's what seems like the be their last loss before this game, that tells you they haven't lost a single game in 4 months before losing this one.

As you can see, a single loss doesn't make them bad, if you are talking about just draws, yeah sure they had a draw against United, but they did have other draws all season long, many of them, that's why a team with just a single loss didn't end up being 15+ points ahead, draws, that was the reason. So believe me, a loss after four months is not some risky thing, they can do much better without worries.

I strongly disagree about not so many people expected Liverpool on winning Tottenham because the EFL competition wasn't a priority for Liverpool. We have often seen teams that didn't give priority to the EFL Cup fielding most of their second choice players in games instead of the entire first eleven players of the club. But in the case of Arne Slot he has always come into the competition with his full first team squad.

All I see between Liverpool and Tottenham was a proper set of priority. But if it turns out that Liverpool chooses to let the EFL go so they can focus on the bigger picture which are the UEFA CL and PL title then it's worth it.

I will judge the performance on Liverpool when they play Tottenham again in the premier league not EFL. Because if Liverpool tries to pursue all trophies they might end up losing everything so it's best the have their priorities set and work in line with what they have planned out as a team.
