The stat doesn't change the fact Arsenal still stand as the favourite to win the EPL 22/23 season. Manchester City had the most vote because no one believed Arteta will stand in the top 4 this season but here they are dominating the table and leading Man City with 5 points. Arsenal now has 17.9% of the total Vote while Liverpool still remains at 17.1%. It will take Arsenal consecutive losses to relinquish the top but City still has more draw games after the World cup break.
Arsenal do not have the back up players that Man City have if they have any injuries they are out of the title race. We are only 10? games into the league it is a little soon to be predicting who will win the premier league when there could easily be injury problems for any team. Man City at least have players of equal quality to replace if they do have injuries to their 1st team players. Haaland is prolly the only one that they could not replace.

In this thread, there ud a question: Who will be champion in the 2022/23 season?
17.2% have bet on Arsenal and 44.3% on Manchester City. Liverpool also have 17.2% with a total of 122 votes. So now it looks different from the predictions. And it's exciting because many see City as the champions. In the last 5 years they have won 4x and 1x Liverpool 2020. Arsenal the last time in 2004.
54/122 voters chose Manchester City as the team that will win the title this season. Arsenal and Liverpool have the same percentage, but still none of this will affect this team's chances of winning. I know this is just a really interesting prediction among bitcointalk users, so the discussion in this thread still keeps people interested regardless if they are betting on the match or not.

Manchester City has started to go bad in recent weeks. He was defeated in his last match while entering the world cup and it was a surprise for me. In addition, Liverpool lost points in some matches this year due to injuries. It's like a dream to win the championship again this year for Manu. I think Arsenal will be the premier league champion this year.

I still haven't voted in this thread and if for this season I would still vote for Arsenal as a very strong candidate to win the Premier League. The reason is very simple, namely because the points are already 5 units apart from Manchester City although there is still a possibility for Manchester City to catch up, but I am more confident that Arsenal are still able to maintain their good form until the end of this season.
Honestly there isn't really a clear winner so far, world cup break will definitely help Arsenal because they will rest a bit, but to be fair there isn't really a clear winner so voting on that poll is not easy of course. At the end of the day, City does look like the best team, they even added a monster who already scored like 25 goals so far (total not just epl) and that means they should be doing a lot better and probably will.

But that doesn't mean Arsenal will just let them win, they will try their best to keep the lead going, may achieve a title run, or maybe they will fail but they will certainly not make t easy for Manchester City at all, they will make them run for it.
Even though Arsenal are currently five points ahead. But I predict Manchester City will still be able to catch up and even surpass Arsenal.
I see that this season Arsenal has improved quite rapidly, but they have not been fully tested. I will be looking forward to their duel against City, they still have two games yet to be played. This match will certainly be a bet for them to be the best.

As long as Arsenal play with such discipline, it could be a difficult season for Manchester City.  Arsenal play successful matches without leaving the team game.  Arteta's students continue this year by making up for their mistakes from previous years.  Of course, Manchester City can close the gap of 5 points, but if Arsenal continues to play like this, the gap may increase a little more.

I am not surprised to see this post that even if Arsenal is five points ahead of others in the English Premier League that Manchester City will it still catch up with them and overtake them. That is how everyone has been saying since when the season started. Manchester City has lost up to three times and we still believe they will do magic and overtake Arsenal. I only know that if Arsenal will be able to remain at the top of the table till January they are good to carry the title and they have done that. I bet you many other clubs will beat Manchester City from January

Newcastle are a great example of how an underdog can turn into a leader... I remember how awful they played last year, but after a change in management the result has been amazing... The opposite effect can be seen at Chelsea, where after a change in management and some summer transfers the top club is in the middle of the standings...

The reality is that Newcastle were no longer underdogs the moment they were purchased by that rich abu dhabi family. a clubside worth over $1bn is not an underdog. Newcastle United instead is a properly managed clubsides with good structures. The structure put in place has helped them to set up a good recruitment process that has aided them in buying top quality players without throwing their money around. if they manage to get European football this season; their progress metric would increase even more.

Newcastle United are well on course for a top 7 finish; Credits to Eddie Howe for the great job so far this season
If i am not mistaken last season Newcastle had poor performance even they have to fight to avoid relegation zone but apparently money talk more that after Newcastle acquired and changed owner Eddie Howe can spend more money to bought some of players and this makes he can build the team with good quality of players and the effect too for Newcastle performance that he can bringing Newcastle to survive on premier league and this season they were turn to strong contender for european zone and even Newcastle along with Arsenal is the teams who only lost once this season and can break the domination of strong teams such as Tottenham, Chelsea or even Liverpool
In football it’s important to be financially buoyant and capable when it comes to building a strong squad capable of competing at top level for trophies and top standings, this is what Eddie Howe and his Newcastle side are enjoying at the moment and so far there is a huge change in the team which also reflects on their performance this season. They have money to spend and are able to get players of their choice. A team that struggled to survive relegation now seats 3rd position in the league before Christmas ahead of top teams like Manchester United, Chelsea and Spurs.

Alot of things trembling before Ronaldo as he's unhappy with the development of Erik ten hag in the club. Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the prime player in united, as engaging with exposure of how he feels in united, saying nothing really change in the club since he left when he was 20, and pointing out the fact that he have no respect for Erik ten Hag and the management of the team is poor. Ronaldo's attitude was totally wrong but the action comes with a punishable outcome, something are better left unsaid.
abcnews are reporting that not many teams can afford the salary of Ronaldo and he is the type of player to not lower it to move somewhere else. Unless the Glazers work out a deal with a team and maybe cover part of his salary in the move I cannot see him moving any where. They say he is on $590,000 per week which is one of the highest paid in the league. Not many teams can afford that except Man City and PSG. Man utd prolly do not want to sell to city because of the rivalry and I think that is the reason they bought him because City were interested in signing him. PSG prolly do not need him so utd are not left with a lot of choice on who he could be sold to.

The thing was that he was already given chances to actually show that he is still capable of being the starting lineup. He was played several times as starting lineup for full 90 minutes on Europa League games but he couldnt really do much. The fact that he could really do much but he wanted to be played as starter regularly is pretty selfish though
I hope whatever he's going through at Manchester United isn't taken as an insult. But then again, we can't prevent the media from casting a bad opinion about Ronaldo's situation at Manchester United so I've actually seen a lot of people start to counterattack for Manchester United and Ten Hag. I believe Ronaldo is still capable of performing well, but it is difficult to prevent him from having a selfish attitude as a star on the pitch.

Hopefully some other team can really make Ronaldo happy later regardless of Premier League or Serie A clubs. I heard that Chelsea and Napoli are interested in him, so maybe now is the time he needs to think about one of them.

Cristiano Ronaldo's statement will be wild ball especially when he says there are 2 to 3 players who don't want him at the club. The name of his compatriot appears as one of these players, namely Bruno fernandez, no wonder when many speculate that one of the players is Bruno Fernandez because the way he plays is very different when Cristiano Ronaldo is in the line-up. Moreover, the issue has been around for a long time that the emotional relationship between Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno is indeed not good.
With him speaking up like that means he is ready with the consequences including sanctions and also being expelled from the club. But hopefully his problems today will not affect his performance in Portugal, because so many want to see him play optimally in the World Cup.
I won't judge or scold Ronaldo for his actions because we are humans and though Ronaldo has quite a reputation and is supposed to show professionalism but he also has feelings. When a person feels rejected there is every tendency he would likely speak out at one point and share his grievances which was what Ronaldo did. I also wasn't happy with the way he was treated at Manchester United I don’t think it wasn't fair at all.
The problem is that when something like this happens especially when he says it in front of the media it seems like letting a hot ball that continues to be buzzing become as if it's true and this makes it even more difficult.
He is a star player and I understand that he is a human being but when we see the role he plays in football when the ball rolls like this and seems to be confirmed immediately of course this is going to be hot news.
I also don't blame her attitude because it's possible she wouldn't want to say things like this if she wasn't too stressed but when she told the media of course this would be different.

MAaaN...!! CUT THAT STUPID SHIT
Maybe Ronaldo could have been right about not being played if the took the right path, he could have just whined about the situation constantly and he would have been right. But then leaving the field? Saying you wont come off the bench? Blaming the manager to media? Saying bad things about the owners? There is no return from this, he is gone. He will never play in United ever again and from here on out he just needs to try to focus on finding another team. Not really smart thing to do when you are still on that team, if he really wanted to say these things, he should have done it after he left the club.

Ronaldo may have been fed up with the treatment he received at United, even the staff and some players began to highlight Ronaldo and began to hate him, especially Erik Ten Hag who was reluctant to deal with Ronaldo anymore and hoped that Ronaldo would leave soon.
More on the bench made Ronaldo look bad and couldn't be productive. Ronaldo doesn't respect Erik ten hag because he doesn't respect him as a main player.

Cristiano Ronaldo is most likely to leave Manchester United in the January 2023 transfer market, after carrying out an attack on the Red Devils.
Cristiano Ronaldo openly admits that he was betrayed by Manchester United, the club he loves so much. If it's true that you move to the 2022 World Cup, where will Cristiano Ronaldo move to?

He was actually not though but he wants to be treated with respect and treated as favourites. He didnt join the pre season as well as few early training season but wanted to be treated as favourites as starter. Ten Hag is not a manager that will treat any player as favourites therefore Ronaldo didnt get any the favouritism that he wanted
I think Cristiano Ronaldo gave a very clear reason why he didn't do pre-season with Manchester United and it was about his family. He graciously accepted the consequences of his absence. If I'm not mistaken, when Alex Ferguson was still a coach at Manchester United he always allowed his players to be closer to his family even though we know he is a very strict coach, but he was tolerant when it came to family. Maybe these two coaches have different thoughts, but it becomes a comparison if we compare the two.
I would not say Cristiano Ronaldo's actions were right and would not say he was completely wrong. I saw both sides of what he said during the interview. What I got from what he said, he was just saying how he felt and the current state of Manchester United, and if we want to think positively, he wants the best for the team that made his name known.

In principle, Arsenal do not have to buy players during the winter transfer period, which is coming in January. City would like to get players as they can buy whatever they want. But with Haaland you don't need another striker. I estimate Mbappe higher, by the way, but he really doesn't go to City, he stays with PSG. It will now depend on who will become champions, Arsenal have shown that they can win big and important games and City have had a few bad games. I think we can write off other teams for the championship, Liverpool don't stand a chance at the title anymore.

5 points adrift can still be chased by Manchester City, as long as Arsenal continues to maintain their victory they will be safe, that's why Manchester City will continue to overshadow them at the top of the standings, maintaining a position at the top of the standings is a tough task, I think Arsenal have to work hard to that
Arsenal has passed several obstacles from big clubs perfectly, Arsenal only defeat from a big club was when they were beaten by Manchester United. There is no reason for Arsenal to relax, retaining the top spot month of easy work. Manchester City continues to catch up with Arsenal, the difference of 5 points is not something that is difficult for Manchester City catch Arsenal.
Only consistent performance can keep Arsenal at the top of the standings, Arteta will not waste the opportunity to win the EPL title this season. He will fight to give Arsenal the EPL title that has not been won for a long time.

This season has been very beautiful for Arsenal, after failing to finish in the top four last season Arsenal have overhauled their team in the transfer market. Arsenal squad depth has improved a lot from before, Arteta will try to bring in a few more players in the January transfer window to add to Arsenal strength for the title at the end of the season.

I wouldn't blame him though because he has been maltreated at the club and feels this was the right time and platform to make his feelings known. As far as I’m concerned, other Manchester United players have done worse than this
