Arsenal improvement it's really commendable no doubt, let's be sincere with ourselves, they've not really gotten to the level we expect, we all want a club that can rival Manchester City toe to toe which Arsenal is looking like a club with that potentially but my problem with the Arsenal team is that, they've refused to extend this sort of prowess outside the premier League, take the champions League for instance, Arsenal are always struggle for a point when it comes to UCL as winning matches looks very difficult for them. Unlike Manchester City that dominates not only the premier League but even the champions League and other competitions, Manchester city spread their tentacles with a lot of possession in almost every competition they are involved it, this is what I want to see Arsenal do with this squad Mikel Arteta have and not been narrow-minded on only the premier League.

It is not clear whether the Arsenal team is strong enough to win the title yet. They managed to share points with City. However, the Arsenal team drew the match against Brighton. And this is why Arsenal are 2 points behind City. At the same time, Arsenal team is 1 point behind Liverpool.

Arsenal can't win a Champions League match. At the same time, their performance in the Premier League matches is somewhat erratic. If you want to win the Premier League title, you have to maintain the winning streak. If the winning streak is not continued, the team will fall behind in the title fight. But I think Manchester City or Liverpool will win this season's title.

It is not easy to face Manchester City with all the strength and mentality of the players and also the manager (Pep Guardiola). And I think the Arsenal players have given their all to continue playing organized. I salute Arteta who continues to build the squad even though he has not been able to win the Premier League title. We must realize that in the last few seasons The Gunners have indeed become serious challengers and maybe this season they will get their target even though it is difficult.
Before Manchester City's game against Arsenal yesterday, City's midfielder Rodri did tell the media that the reason Arsenal failed to win at Etihad last season was because of their mentality. He believed that Mikel Arteta's men came with the mentality of getting a draw instead of winning and that I think provoked Arsenal players to give their best in that yesterday game. Arsenal were absolutely determined to get the best out of that match but was unfortunate to leave with a draw after John Stones scored the equalizer in the dying minutes of the game.

With that result and performance, I think Arsenal players and manager will be telling themselves that they can win the English Premier League title this season if they remain focused. I love the energy I saw from Arsenal yesterday and I hope they continue to with it

Arsenal are improving their games right now, they're not he same arsenal pep would win just the way he did within the last four to fives years in the premier league. It's a good thing to see the response from Mikel Arteta and the arsenal squad as they gave a positive attitude even without club captain and Moreno. They look likely to win the league. Next week will be against Leicester city, it's sure they will win the game.
Under the Command of Arteta Arsenal is showing their game level always at the top the way they tackle Man City at their home ground is simply brilliant and the chnage of tactics as well team player follow the instruction and implement it exactly Arteta wants thats why they improved after every game.

Rodri's injury is a big blow for Manchester City because he is an important player who has been in the main squad for years, there is always a disadvantage when both clubs play fiercely, especially Arsenal is Man City's enemy so they feel happy when Man City's main squad is injured I think this will be Arsenal's chance to take over the top position if Man City becomes unstable when Rodri is absent later.
But if Ilkay Gundogan can replace Rodri's role well, then Man City's performance will be fine and Pep Guardiola doesn't need to worry about Rodri's absence and hopefully his injury will not be prolonged.
Of course because Rodri is player who can always play very well as defensive midfielder or help every attack effort, last season he performed very well and contributed greatly to Manchester City achievements so that the injury he suffered would be very detrimental to the team.
It is reported that Rodri injury is quite serious and he is certain to be absent for quite long time in the future, but on the other hand you are right that Rodri injury problem will make it easier for several other teams such as Arsenal and Liverpool to try to reach the top position because they can take advantage of all this to be superior to Manchester City even though Arsenal is also in player crisis.
If only rely on Ilkay Gundogan, it will never be able to help and restore Manchester City performance to be perfect because he has his own place and is also one of the main players, there is still Mateo Kovacic as replacement but I not sure he can really replace Rodri and make the same contribution.
There will be possibility for Manchester City to bring in players to fill the void left by Rodri because the healing process after ACL surgery can take months to 1 year.

Rodri and De Bruyne are very important players for Manchester City. De Bruyne has faced injury with these two players playing a vital role in keeping City's midfield stable. But he is likely to return to the squad very soon. But Rodri's injury is serious. We probably won't see Rodri in the Manchester City squad this season. So Guardiola will have to find a suitable replacement for Rodri. There is no alternative.

Gundogan is quite a talented player. And even a few seasons ago he was one of the most important players in Manchester City's squad. But right now I am not sure if Gundogan can be a worthy replacement for Rodri. If Gundogan does not perform well, Manchester City's overall performance is likely to be unstable.

The match against Arsenal has a victim that it is confirmed Rodri gets the injury and it is thought that he has an ACL injury and as far i know ACL injury takes months to gets recover and i think if this really happend then this could be a big lost for Manchester City because just like we all know Rodri position in Manchester City is irreplaceable and we can see it based on his statistics for each season that Guardiola always be rely on him for defensive midfielder position

Luckily Manchester City has Gundogan who bought from Barcelona this summer so he can be played as defensive midfielder to replace Rodri position and i think Gundogan quality too equal to Rodri and Guardiola still waiting the current condition of Rodri and he still hopes Rodri will not gets long term injury

The battle between Man City and Arsenal on the pitch did end in a draw, but apparently the post-match dispute continued off the pitch. If we monitor the news, there is a lot of discussion about the Haaland vs Gabriel Jesus(1) feud and also the moment when Man City scored a goal in the final minutes, Haaland threw the ball at one of the Arsenal players(2) who is currently under investigation. All of that could backfire on Man City if the EPL imposes sanctions for Haaland indecent actions. Arsenal, who are in a losing position, will definitely use this as material to attack Man City, especially Haaland, because whatever his actions are after the match is over could be disastrous.
Did Haaland need to do all these arrogant and rude activities?

He does not need to do these things but he loves doing this. It does not help his career and only increases hate in fan community against him. Except if you are a fan of Halaand and a loyal fan of Manchester City, it's hard to accept or support these activities. Haaland does not need to do this to show that he is strong and manly. Playing fairly and beating the opponents are things he needs to focus on.

Perhaps Haaland felt distressful after some disappointed individual performances when playing with Arsenal last season and after scoring a goal in this match, as well as some situations in the match between two team players, he wanted to take action to release his stress. But either reasons, it's very bad activity that he needs to avoid in future.

Manchester City was lucky to have gotten away with this and the card that came in the early was what disrupted our performance and all our effort to balance the game was lost lost, every knew that Arsenal tried their best that Is exactly what made me very happy even we did not win, Manchester City is going to know that we are going to be a very difficult club to score and it was unfortunate that we lost that game. And when next we meet them its going to be a very close one. They always see us as a threat and when they are playing against us they are always getting serious and this game was manipulated in their favor. And when next we meet they won't be this lucky. And we all Arsenal fans know that almost other England clubs don't really like arsenal that much.

They are always looking down on Arsenal that is one of the reasons that I want us to win the Premier League title, we should focus on that for now.
I watched the highlight over and over again. And I saw how Arsenal went from a counterattack to defensive play immediately after they lost the ball. At the end of the game. Manchester City players and fans were complaining about how Arsenal played them. But did they forget they claimed to be the best team in the world and yet they expect other teams to play the way they will be comfortable with? I know they weren't expecting what happened at Etihad, but now they should be ready for what's going to happen at the Emirate.
Manchester City fan though it's was still as usual for their team to close all the points but forgetting that they are playing against Arsenal who are currently one of the strongest team in English Premier League, Arsenal are at the top under Arteta leadership and since he took over they have been growing bit by bit in every season that passes, I think is high time the Manchester City fans to know that many teams have had the cup full against them and decided to take a step, Manchester city are not as strong a they used to be in last season, they had two consecutive draw at their home which is something of surprise, but to me their end is near.

Once again Arsenal using their dirty strategy to win the match, however Manchester City is great team and always trying to destroy Arsenal's defense, I'm really happy Manchester City not lose in their home.

Don't really expect too much when they meet at Emirates Stadium in the next year, Manchester City will destroy Arsenal.

Anyway nice to see Savinho is getting developed in Manchester City.
If Manchester City lose at home I think they will bear the shame of their fans, but in my opinion when the team plays at home it is even a plus for them because surely they are more confident to compete so it is likely that the team competing at home will win. With their performance, there is no doubt that they are a strong team, but in yesterday's match I saw them compete like they were not calm as seen from the early minutes which indeed the movement between these two teams was very fast.
With their next EPL match I still think they can beat their opponent well, and maybe it won't be as difficult as against Arsenal. Because with their chances of winning are certainly greater, therefore I still think positively that they can still win in the match later so that they can still survive in their current ranking.

Arteta had to change his tactics after losing Leandro Trossard to a red card at the end of the first half, he immediately built a more solid wall to prevent Manchester City players from scoring more goals against them. The plan was clear when Arteta brought on Ben White for Bukayo Saka, the strategy proved successful, even though they failed to secure the win, at least they did not lose despite being short of players. Arsenal were not given much freedom at the Etihad stadium, the change in tactics required the players to defend more than attack. Arteta's method could be considered a smart tactic to disrupt the rhythm of Manchester City who dominated the match after being superior in numbers.

Playing defensively is the best option for Arsenal to curtail an attacking superpower like Manchester City. How do you expect a team to cope with City with men without playing dirty? I am glad Arsenal at least got a point from all the hard work. City wants to make the EPL similar to the French League, where PSG keeps winning League One. I think Arsenal can win the EPL title this season to put an end to City's dominance. The result of the rematch is unpredictable, but if the Gunners could get a draw with ten men, they have they have the capacity to beat The Cityzens in the Emirate.
City doesn't care about Ligue 1 and PSG's dominance, they achieve their titles in a much more difficult fight and it seems to me that comparing these championships is inappropriate. Perhaps Guardiola would like to win every time with such a huge margin, but it is almost impossible in the Premier League the competition is much higher. I don't know how to explain it, but I do not agree that Arsenal are ready to become champions, a team that defends with the whole team in my opinion is not ready to be a champion.
I was not comparing the French and English League; it's clear that the latter is stronger and more entertaining. Manchester City's dominance of the EPL is making it look monotonous and less exciting. My point is that we need a change to make things look interesting. I don't know why people are criticising Arsenal for packing the bus. It is somehow an impossible task to win or draw against a team like City with one man down. However, I blame Leandro Trossard for his stupid actions that led to the red card. The first yellow card was childish, and the second was careless. Arsenal is set to be crown champions and we saw it in the last game when they were leading the game before the red card.

You have to explain what is meant by "dirty strategy" because we need evidence of what kind of dirty play Arsenal applied on the field? isn't there a referee? If Arsenal played dirty, they should be at an advantage, right?

Come on, Man City not being able to win the match is also a loss. Like it or not, when Arsenal played with 10 men but were only able to score 1 goal in the last minute for a club like Man City, it means that Arsenal is now starting to be able to provide better resistance.

I don't even no why Manchester City sold Ilkay Gundogan on the first place because he was an assets to the club and one of the best midfielder, everybody knows how impressive he has been during this number of years he has been playing for Manchester City, however Manchester City is very lucky to have gotten him back to the team because this is the moment they needed him the most because of the Rodri injury that may likely take more longer time before he would be back on his feet.

So with the efficient performance of Gundogan on the midfield he will perfectly cover up well for Rodri since he has been playing with the club for some years now and there is no need in getting use to the club any longer, so is actually good to have him back because Barcelona was not that good as Manchester City is for him.
If i am not mistaken Manchester City actually didn't sell Gundogan and he himself decided not to renew his contract at Manchester City because Gundogan didn't satisfied from contract duration which given by Manchester City but it was no last long because after Barcelona terminate his contract then Gundogan has decide to rejoin again with Manchester City and the good thing is Manchester City gets him for free

Indeed Gundogan come at the right time because currently Manchester City is required the player as the replacement of Rodri and just like i said before Gundogan can be played on that position and apparently for defensive midfielder most likely Gundogan will be played until this season ended because there was a possibility Rodri has serious injury and he will be out for this season

I have to say that Manchester City were lucky in this match and not lose all points.

Yep. Arteta is working so well, So proud of the team and the way they defended. Immense at the back.
But the last goal broke me, I thought Arsenal had won the match with 1 goal ahead until the last minute.
I thought Arteta could have put Sterling when Pep changed Walker hoping for a canter attack by the defenders.
And yeah, Manchester City seems to be so satisfied with that 1 point.. it shows in their facial expressions.. they're so contented.

Manchester city is never afraid to face Arsenal at any venue, Arsenal can only try but they know too well that Manchester city is far ahead of them and Manchester city will continue to be their stumbling block in their quest to win the premier league. Whenever Arsenal is playing Manchester city they always come with evil intention. They always come to make trouble. I'm just happy that Manchester city players have developed a winning and fighting till the end mentality. The Mentality that never allow them to give up till the end and this is the Mentality that Arsenal players will never have. Just imagine how they look so disappointed and frustrated after the final whistle in the match when John Stones scored the last minute goal. Even if Manchester city are going to lose their unbeaten home record this season, I'm just happy that it wasn't in the hand of Arteta and his boys. They should wait for Manchester city at the Emirates stadium, city will show them how to win at away without any drama.

To be honest I personally want to see Arsenal dominate the Premier League this season and I'm tired of seeing Manchester City always at the top of the standings.

It's no longer news that the English premier league is now turning into a farmers league, because the dominance of Manchester city is gradually getting to the level of psg in France just as you rightfully said, but as for the game, to be honest, Arsenal tried, even though they actually don't know how to play with a man down, but the effort they put in was very much visible for all to see, which to me is very much recommendable.

Then as for this season title race, it's too early to conclude yet that arsenal are the only real contender to challenge Manchester city for the title, I think that Liverpool and Chelsea might also challenge for the title, but it's too early to conclude just yet, I believe that by the end of December, the picture will be much more clearer for everyone to see, but as for now, let's just watch and see how things plays out.

Arsenal managed to hold Manchester City to a draw even though they lost 1 player in at the end of the first half and they started the second half with only 10 players I think this is a fair result for both of them because they are equally strong this season but I have to admit Arsenal's defense is quite strong even though they don't dominate the ball much compared to Manchester City but the Man City players looked very frustrated because the match was very fierce even Arsenal had a 2 goal lead in the first half but in the end Manchester City scored the final goal created by John Stones and finally managed to get 1 point.

Source: Man City and Arsenal Statistics
like arteta said, it's a miracle that arsenal defended up untill the last minute that Manchester City scored that goal. let's forget about the statistics and the possession of the ball and even the numerous corners that man city had. The resilience and the discipline of the arsenal team is what needs to be applauded. If they allowed the pressure on them to force them into launching an attack against man city, it would have been easy to break that defense wall and hit them quite early into the second half.

Observe that because of the structure of the defense, halland was just standing and had less touch on the ball cause they out marked him full time. Can you even imagine that an 11 squared man city team will celebrate for drawing against a 10 man arsenal team when city is the home team in this instance? This is just like an emotional final you would expect to see assuming the structure of the EPL permit it to be so. With this shared point, it has opened up opportunity for all the teams in the current top 5 to believe that they can win the league which will go on to make the coming games more competitive for these teams. I give complete respect to arsenal regardless of the fact that they could have won this game if they were able to hold on till the next 1 minutes.

With the way Arsenal played the match yesterday, it will be difficult for any team to penetrate their defence. When you have the whole team playing in the box without having any intention of lunching an attack it will be difficult to score them. I question the Mentality of Arsenal and with this mentality that they have, it will be difficult for them to win the premier league or even the champions league. There are many big teams out there that still play good football even with red card. I have watched several games were big teams get a red card and still play and win the match. This is not how Liverpool use to behave when playing with Manchester city. With the way Arsenal played I think Manchester city deserved to celebrate the draw. You could see the disappointments on the faces of Arsenal players when Stones scored the last goal. Manchester city have every reason to celebrate.
Arsenal performance in that match was excellent playing with 10 men against 11 is never easy talk more of playing against a team like Manchester City. Manchester City would have done same thing Arsenal did if they were in Arsenal shoe, Manchester City celebrating a draw at home with 10 men Arsenal was unprofessional what was Arsenal was the best they could playing all second half in there box had it been they came out to play that particular game in the second half Manchester City would have won them even before John stone late goal and the tactics almost work out for them for not for the late goal.
Arsenal did well honestly I was surprised with there performance on Sunday Manchester City will always dominate even when the both sides are playing 11 men talk more of 10 against 11 starting from the beginning of second half I applaud Arsenal for that performance.
