I watched the highlight over and over again. And I saw how Arsenal went from a counterattack to defensive play immediately after they lost the ball. At the end of the game. Manchester City players and fans were complaining about how Arsenal played them. But did they forget they claimed to be the best team in the world and yet they expect other teams to play the way they will be comfortable with? I know they weren't expecting what happened at Etihad, but now they should be ready for what's going to happen at the Emirate.
Once again Arsenal using their dirty strategy to win the match, however Manchester City is great team and always trying to destroy Arsenal's defense, I'm really happy Manchester City not lose in their home.

Don't really expect too much when they meet at Emirates Stadium in the next year, Manchester City will destroy Arsenal.

Anyway nice to see Savinho is getting developed in Manchester City.

Apart from Rodri behavior Man city always show frustration when they lost the game or draw the game same thing done by Haaland after exchange of some words with Arsenal Manager then Gabriel add himself in the party . This is not the way when you didn't performed well or when you didn't get your desired results.
If you knew how Barcelona players behaved in their golden era with Pep Guardiola, you can easily understand why Manchester City players behave like this.

Busquet and his Oscar moment but in fact many Barcelona players did the same. There are clips that they were trained on how to react like actors if opponents want to make a foul.

Haaland must adjust himself if he does not want to engage too much on controversy on field, that won't be good for himself and for the club too. Because engagement in these situations will cause cards, suspensions and more.

I saw the drama coming from the point where Manchester City had a player leaving at the beginning of the game, Arsenal  did their best to keep the game in balance but the erratic nature of the game continued because Manchester City wanted to win that game by almost all means because it was the biggest rival they have in England currently but then they didn't get a bad results at the end of the day because they did made sure to maintain a system where their defense remains almost impenetrable by their opponent to a great extent, I want to see what will be like at the gunners home in their next fixture.

Manchester City was lucky to have gotten away with this and the card that came in the early was what disrupted our performance and all our effort to balance the game was lost lost, every knew that Arsenal tried their best that Is exactly what made me very happy even we did not win, Manchester City is going to know that we are going to be a very difficult club to score and it was unfortunate that we lost that game. And when next we meet them its going to be a very close one. They always see us as a threat and when they are playing against us they are always getting serious and this game was manipulated in their favor. And when next we meet they won't be this lucky. And we all Arsenal fans know that almost other England clubs don't really like arsenal that much.

They are always looking down on Arsenal that is one of the reasons that I want us to win the Premier League title, we should focus on that for now.

It is not easy to face Manchester City with all the strength and mentality of the players and also the manager (Pep Guardiola). And I think the Arsenal players have given their all to continue playing organized. I salute Arteta who continues to build the squad even though he has not been able to win the Premier League title. We must realize that in the last few seasons The Gunners have indeed become serious challengers and maybe this season they will get their target even though it is difficult.
Before Manchester City's game against Arsenal yesterday, City's midfielder Rodri did tell the media that the reason Arsenal failed to win at Etihad last season was because of their mentality. He believed that Mikel Arteta's men came with the mentality of getting a draw instead of winning and that I think provoked Arsenal players to give their best in that yesterday game. Arsenal were absolutely determined to get the best out of that match but was unfortunate to leave with a draw after John Stones scored the equalizer in the dying minutes of the game.

With that result and performance, I think Arsenal players and manager will be telling themselves that they can win the English Premier League title this season if they remain focused. I love the energy I saw from Arsenal yesterday and I hope they continue to with it

Arsenal are improving their games right now, they're not he same arsenal pep would win just the way he did within the last four to fives years in the premier league. It's a good thing to see the response from Mikel Arteta and the arsenal squad as they gave a positive attitude even without club captain and Moreno. They look likely to win the league. Next week will be against Leicester city, it's sure they will win the game.
Under the Command of Arteta Arsenal is showing their game level always at the top the way they tackle Man City at their home ground is simply brilliant and the chnage of tactics as well team player follow the instruction and implement it exactly Arteta wants thats why they improved after every game.

It is just obvious that Rodri doesn't know what he is saying. From the very beginning of Arsenal's game, they always play defensively and when they are with the ball they also attack with the same energy. What Arteta boys are doing is that when they have the ball they go for a goal and when the ball is against them everyone falls and defends. The reason for doing that is not because they want a draw game is because their pattern is to concede fewer goals and secure the chances of winning. Through set piece and counter attacks.

In the past two Premier League seasons, Arsenal has had the opportunity to win the Premier League title, but they allowed Manchester City to always overtake them in the Premier League table and win the league title at the end of the season. I know Arsenal players have been consistent in winning their matches in the Premier League, but since they are finding it hard to beat Manchester City in the Premier League, it will be difficult for Arsenal to win the Premier League title when Manchester City is still performing well in the Premier League.

I want to see Arsenal competing closely again this season, plus Liverpool being on the list of contenders. Liverpool and Arsenal are clearly the two teams that can put the most pressure on Manchester City this season, but we have seen both teams drop points in their 5 matches so far. Erling Haaland has scored 10/13 Manchester City goals in the first 5 matches this season, he is really hard to stop.
Things like this are still very possible to happen but apart from that they must also be able to be consistent in performance if they really want to realize this into reality.
They must learn from the previous season especially for Arsenal which until now they still cannot cover consistency when in some competitive competition. They tend to decline when their focus is divided in some of the competitions they live in, as well as Liverpool although for now maybe the coach is different but it could be that something like this will happen again.

The Klopp era for Liverpool last season has even been predicted to get more than one trophy where domestic competitions other than the EPL they are quite strong and of course the Europa League also they are real favorites, but because of their inconsistency in doing several competitions at once makes their performance decline which ends in painful failure. This season in the hands of Slot they have been very good but problems like this can still happen for Liverpool.

Who manipulated the match for Manchester city? I don't get it, so when a player commits an offense he should not be punished because he is an Arsenal player? Trossard deserved to be red carded and he got what he deserved. Arsenal were so naive and they couldn't come out to play good football. Arsenal should not be playing bitter football, that was how they ganged up and injured Rodrigo because they see him as a threat to their title quest. That was why they came with the full intention of injuring Rodrigo. Congratulations to Arsenal for mission successful. But the thing I want to promise you all Arsenal fans is that you won't win the league. With or without Rodrigo Manchester city will finish ahead of Arsenal and the rest of the premier league teams will continue to look down on Arsenal.

City keeps passing all game long but they barely get any decent chances, in the end they just shoot shots that doesn't even look good because they fail to find good chances when other team just defends properly. I guess we can say that other teams finally figured out the boring method City plays and we may see Pep change some things.
Losing KDB in midfield made Mancehster City's situation like a chicken losing its mother as they lacked direction and initiation especially when Haaland was tightly guarded.
Last season's situation when KDB was injured was repeated in yesterday's match especially with Rodri who had to leave in the first half making them even more troubled. When KDB is not in the squad there is actually still Rodri who has good initiation and can be used as a starting pattern in attacking but when Rodri is also not on the field making the situation from Manchester City even more complicated.

But even so 1 point is still valuable especially when they fight Arsenal, which in fact until now has been predicted as one of the clubs that will still participate in the competition for the trophy so that 1 point still looks good for Manchester City.

I want you to also look at it from this angle. If not that Arsenal had one player evicted as a result of the red card, do you think they would have played defensive game, they wouldn't rather they would have play more attacking games but Manchester City kept their cool and were able to equalized. If not for those hit up, check the shot on target both first half and second half and you will understand what I'm saying, they would still have won Arsenal anyways.

The red card to Trossard yesterday was the cause of the change of tactics yesterday by Mikel Arteta, even without the red card I was expecting Arsenal to play a low block rather then been too defensive but a with a player down they couldn’t do that, so they went back home to defend fully which was still the best thing to do with a possession base team like city. Without that red card I will say Arsenal definitely stood a chance of winning that game, the first half showed what they were capable of doing, Arsenal matched City energy to energy in the first half and they would have kept that energy with a 11 complete players but it just wasn’t possible for them with a player down. Seriously I was pained by the last goal they actually conceded after the long frustrating 52 minutes of defending but that’s football sometimes

Funny you are actually right pep wants to turn the English premier league into farmers league where Manchester City keep on winning the English premier league throph all season.

The citizens really missed the Belgian international Kevin de bruyne in there squard Arsenal really impressed me there were to Mack out erling haaland in that game after scoring in the 9th minutes of the game.

The English premier league this season will be different from past Liverpool and Arsenal between both will definitely win the English premier league throph the season, pep is nice couch he has really don well for the citizens.

The gap between Arsenal and Manchester City is almost closed since last season because Arteta was able to get four points out of six in their last season games against Manchester City, and Arteta won Pep on the Community shield finals which was painful because Manchester City were leading the game until Arsenal was able to get the last minted equalizer and they won on penalties.

Yesterday’s match is a good sign that Arsenal had improved and Manchester City will find it difficult to defeat Arsenal again since they couldn’t beat them with red card from the first half. Nevertheless, Manchester City is still the best team in the Premier League, but Arsenal will still compete for the title because they can even win it this time because Manchester City will surely drop points because they are also not perfect.

Honestly Manchester City has gotten a narrow escape by using advantages of the red card that was given to  Trossard in the of the first half if not I don’t expect that the match will come in draw that yesterday, but seriously Arsenal have sir up a good performances in that match with the kind of efforts that they where make in the second half: which nobody was expected that performance’s from them upon say they where received a the red card they still give Manchester City a tough attacking in the second half.

There a lot of people’s that they don’t want to see Arsenal success, but time everything will come better, because with the kind of performance that arsenal move on now I’m having hope for them this season that they will win league, let forget that Manchester City is the one leading the top of tables: this is just started of the league.

Unfortunately, they always find it difficult to rest. Lol
As the first four consecutive title holders in the Premier League, I think Manchester City will be motivated to become the first team to win 5 titles in 5 consecutive seasons. Their winning streak has been broken because of Arsenal, but this is not the end. Manchester City is the best team currently in the Premier League, all the other teams try to stop them even though in the end they always struggle.

It is true that premier league coaches are beginning to understand Pep's tactics which is nothing else than to press and shoot. While the rest of the team is pressing, Haaland is positioning himself for firing. The best way to stop City or to try to stop them because they haven't been successful stopped yet; is to counter press them. Don't sit back and relax, just press as they are pressing.  But this will only work for a team that has strong and effective forwards.

But, upon the fact that coaches are beginning to understand his tactics, they are not able to use it against him because City has quality players. Arsenal would have been the first to press City's neck but it's unfortunate how it ended.

Wheel of Whales 🐳
In the eyes of Arsenal fans, referee Michael Oliver decision was considered unfair, and has made Arteta squad fail to bring home 3 points. Records show that he has given the most red cards to Arsenal players. The second yellow card received by Leandro Trossard was actually very ridiculous, and the referee decision looked very controversial. Apart from the referee decision, Manchester City, who dominated the game in the second half, were very lucky thanks to a goal in the final minutes. Arsenal defense line appeared very disciplined, and they used all their strength to defend, so it is natural that Manchester City were very frustrated to break down Arsenal defense. Arsenal are a major contender for the trophy, and they have improved significantly over the past two seasons. This season, it seems that Pep Guardiola will have to work harder to retain the trophy, as Arsenal are clearly ready to end their dominance.
What really caught my attention in that match was that Arsenal seemed like they would have been able to beat Man City in that match if Arsenal had still played with 11 players in the second half. Unfortunately Arsenal had to lose one player at the end of the first half. Apart from the controversy regarding the referee's decision in the match. I see the rapid development of Arteta's team. Especially their defense which is very strong. Man City, which has a bomber like Haaland, also seems to have difficulty getting good opportunities in this match. And this is a home match for Man City, where usually Man City will be able to play better than usual. But in front of Arsenal it seems like home or away matches are not a big problem. And the draw that Man City got also stopped their winning streak this season.

I won't say Arsenal managed to hold Manchester city to a draw as they're supposed to have won that game if not for the poor officiating from the refs. Arsenal was determined to win but the refs were just against them. The first half was won by Arsenal and they managed to keep it that way for a long time until the very last minutes of the game. Arsenal frustrated Manchester city and  showed them that they're ready for the title challenge for this season. Arsenal defence held strong all throughout the game and if it wasn't for the last minute corner kick, Arsenal would had won the game and taken all the points. Arsenal playing without a complete squad was a bold statement.

I know a lot of unexpected went down yesterday with Arsenal and Manchester City but you know Arsenal came to Etihad right? And it was expected of Manchester City to play aggressively so they don't have to lose at home to Arsenal considering the situation of things, it wasn't expected of Arsenal players to pick offense in that game, they should have understood the mind game and they fell for it and that's why even the officiating staffs didn't consider them.

I want you to also look at it from this angle.
