Liverpool can be said to have started this season well even though they unexpectedly had to accept defeat from Nottingham Forest. Under the control of their new manager Arne Slot I see The Reds have not changed significantly and the style of play seems to still adopt the rhythm of the game like the Klopp era. I still see Liverpool as a strong team that is ready to be a challenger this season.
There were too many doubts about Liverpool performance after the exit of Jürgen Klopp and arrival of Arne Slot, but he has done impressive job and Liverpool having impressive start of their campaign in this season even their defeat against Nottingham at the Anfield were shocking but still things are manageable, and we are having good chance for them to give challenging performance against Manchester City and Arsenal which are top contenders right now for the title race.

Liverpool performance in all events are impressive, and they are surely going to have good chance in Champions League where things are interesting with this new format which is having hard job for the all teams.

I am starting to wonder if West Ham United regrets replacing David Moyes now after West Ham United disastrous start in this new season. Under the management of David Moyes, I think West Ham United are still capable of gaining points surprisingly sometimes when they play against big football clubs, but ever since Julen Lopetegui took over as the manager of the club, the team are looking more disorganized in both offense and defense. I guess Julen Lopetegui will have a lot of work to do in order to fix the mess before West Ham United sinks into the relegation zone.
David Moyes done impressive job here at the West Ham, and they were able to have first ever their European trophy as well but still sacking and having new coach is surely bad decision of management which is now having worst ever start for them and as things are going most chances they will be stayed in lower half of the league table which is surely not ideal thing with their defense is having terrible time they already concede enough goals in few games even their attack is doing decent job, but their defense is having not good time no doubt they can go down and things can go more troubling in coming weeks.

Playing defensively is the best option for Arsenal to curtail an attacking superpower like Manchester City. How do you expect a team to cope with City with men without playing dirty? I am glad Arsenal at least got a point from all the hard work. City wants to make the EPL similar to the French League, where PSG keeps winning League One. I think Arsenal can win the EPL title this season to put an end to City's dominance. The result of the rematch is unpredictable, but if the Gunners could get a draw with ten men, they have they have the capacity to beat The Cityzens in the Emirate.
City doesn't care about Ligue 1 and PSG's dominance, they achieve their titles in a much more difficult fight and it seems to me that comparing these championships is inappropriate. Perhaps Guardiola would like to win every time with such a huge margin, but it is almost impossible in the Premier League the competition is much higher. I don't know how to explain it, but I do not agree that Arsenal are ready to become champions, a team that defends with the whole team in my opinion is not ready to be a champion.
I was not comparing the French and English League; it's clear that the latter is stronger and more entertaining. Manchester City's dominance of the EPL is making it look monotonous and less exciting. My point is that we need a change to make things look interesting. I don't know why people are criticising Arsenal for packing the bus. It is somehow an impossible task to win or draw against a team like City with one man down. However, I blame Leandro Trossard for his stupid actions that led to the red card. The first yellow card was childish, and the second was careless. Arsenal is set to be crown champions and we saw it in the last game when they were leading the game before the red card.
The match against Arsenal was a tough test for Manchester City and they came very close to failing it, but they managed to come back in the end. The way Arsenal and Manchester City competed in this match is clear that this season too we will see the competition between Manchester City and Arsenal to hold the first position in the points table.
Although now Arsenal is fourth in the points table, Arsenal's point gap with the three teams that are at the top of the points table is not much. If Liverpool or Aston Villa lose their next match and Arsenal do well in that match, they will go back to the top of the points table.

Rodri's injury is a big blow for Manchester City because he is an important player who has been in the main squad for years, there is always a disadvantage when both clubs play fiercely, especially Arsenal is Man City's enemy so they feel happy when Man City's main squad is injured I think this will be Arsenal's chance to take over the top position if Man City becomes unstable when Rodri is absent later.
But if Ilkay Gundogan can replace Rodri's role well, then Man City's performance will be fine and Pep Guardiola doesn't need to worry about Rodri's absence and hopefully his injury will not be prolonged.

Rodri is an important player for Manchester City and I know they’ll miss him anytime they play against big clubs because of the work he put into the midfield for them when he’s around. His injury in the match against Arsenal was early and they were able to manage well without him for the full time. His injury will always be a discomfort to Pep Guardiola, but those are the moments in football that cannot be avoided by any team, you just have to learn how to be welcoming instances like this and also find an immediate solution to it.

For the next games to play without him, I hope they can all come out victorious. Arsenal need to keep up with their performance, they played well against Manchester City and I expect them to continue in this good form if they really want to win the premier league title this season. With or without Rodri in the main squad of Manchester City, Arsenal should be at their best and take advantage of every opportunity they can to be at the top of the standings.

Rodri and De Bruyne are very important players for Manchester City. De Bruyne has faced injury with these two players playing a vital role in keeping City's midfield stable. But he is likely to return to the squad very soon. But Rodri's injury is serious. We probably won't see Rodri in the Manchester City squad this season. So Guardiola will have to find a suitable replacement for Rodri. There is no alternative.

Gundogan is quite a talented player. And even a few seasons ago he was one of the most important players in Manchester City's squad. But right now I am not sure if Gundogan can be a worthy replacement for Rodri. If Gundogan does not perform well, Manchester City's overall performance is likely to be unstable.
Today it was announced that Rodri will miss the rest of the season, it is a significant loss for City, but Guardiola is lucky that Gundogan is back in the team, it will help to overcome such losses easier, although it is difficult to lose such an important player so early. It seems that De Bruyne's injury is not so serious, Guardiola said that Kevin is unlikely to appear in the games against Watford and Newcastle, but it is expected that his absence will not be long, which of course is good news.

I think if we want to win the Premier League title, it is very important to maintain the consistency of good performances. Because several teams compete for the Premier League title. If a team is not able to perform consistently well then they will lose the top spot in the table. Liverpool team has lost against weak teams like Nottingham Forest this season. It was not desirable at all. Had Liverpool not lost this match, the top spot in the table would have been occupied by Liverpool. However, Liverpool, Arsenal and City are all three teams fighting for the title this season. And all three teams have the potential to win the title.

Yes, it was a defeat that I thought was quite embarrassing, previously I thought that the match against N.Forest was an easy match for Liverpool because they also played at home in that match, but in the end the result was far from expectations, they lost and of course it hurt. N.Forest is an ordinary team that in most seasons always finishes in the low area in the standings, and if only in that match Liverpool managed to get full points then surely now they are in the top ranking in the standings.

On the other hand, Manchester City will play against Newcastle and if for example Guardiola fails to secure full points in that match then there is a possibility for Liverpool to overtake Manchester City in terms of points, because I am quite sure that it will not be too difficult for Liverpool to get full points in the next match against Wolves who are a team that started the season very badly.

I think i see a controversial in that Manchester City and Arsenal match, well the referee could have allowed the match to be fair match but the referee was not fair enough to Arsenal knowing it is a deciding match between both Clubs of who to seat at the top of the premier league.

For me Arsenal could have won this match if not for the red card that course them one man down because even before the red card was given to Trossard at first half, Arsenal was on top of the game.

I foresee Arsenalfc defeating Manchester City at home when they will be Playing at the Emirate Stadium.
In my opinion, the referee was fair in this match, if we talk about the red card given to Trossard, the second violation he committed was enough for the referee to give a second yellow card because his hand was involved.
in yesterday's match Arsenal was unlucky because they were unable to maintain their victory until the end of the match
no matter how tight the defense is, if it continues to be attacked, it will also be conceded.
because Man City is very dominant, especially in the second half
However, from the whole match I think it is fair for both teams to share points considering that these are two strong candidate teams.

Goodnight, o_e_l_e_o 🌹
We could say it's football, but I really felt bad at Trossard's second yellow, followed by a red card. That is not a type of match to be giving uncertain yellow cards. This was just a good win for Arsenal but it's unfortunate it didn't happen.
What causes Trossard’s red card in the match was lack of discipline, he already knows the rules, and he knows that he is already having a yellow card, he should be cautious and shouldn’t even try crazy things. I don’t know the reason why people keep on saying that the red card wasn’t deserved. At least next time any player with a yellow card won’t try something like that, why did he play the ball even after the whistle has been blown already? Arsenal were just unlucky in the match, even with the red card, they will have been able to maintain the win. Manchester City equalized during the extra time given, which some Arsenal fans still complained that the 8 minutes was too much.
If you talk about indiscipline, what will you say about Haaland's behaviour throughout the match. That guy is a pure bully and he kept oppressing his opponents. He will purposely run into person and ref will not caution him;
He also used some foul words and nothing happening;
He stoned the ball on someone and all was still fine.
There are some kind of nonsense discipline that doesn't apply in big matches.

A good time to end City's dominance of the EPL. It's funny how Manchester City might get the title again this season.
I don’t think any club will be able to compete with Manchester City for the league title this season, the only club that will try is Arsenal, and I am not yet satisfied with their pattern of play.

Anyways, Arsenal still has the opportunity to fight for the title.

But right now I am not sure if Gundogan can be a worthy replacement for Rodri. If Gundogan does not perform well, Manchester City's overall performance is likely to be unstable.

I don't think Gundugan can replace Rodri to play the defensive midfield role. He's old and gets tired easily. He doesn't press that much and is not a reliable ball-winner. On the ball, he's very calm and calculative, but without the ball, he's not good at all. Manchester City will definitely miss Rodri. That doesn't mean they can't win the league, but without Rodri, the Champions League will be even more difficult to win.

I believe Pep will switch to a double-pivot midfield like he did in previous seasons. He'll use one of his CBs to play as the DM paring. He can either use Stones or Akanji, but Stones is the better option for that position. Gunduga can be paired with Stones for a double-pivot midfield. Stone will be the ball winner while Gundugan can distribute and dictate the game from deep. Bernado Silver too is a player who can play that role together with Stones.
I believe Manchester City will be fine in the league, it's the Champions League I feel they might have problems.

Regardless of Man City situation with Rodri missing due to injury at least Pep Guardiola still has options to play. Indeed, it will not be able to completely patch Rodri role but at least Pep can always get out of situations like this. We've seen Man City go without de Bruyne so there will always be a worthy replacement. Man City young players are no less great, let's just see Man City balance will still be well maintained.
Gundogan also still provides useful help, he is a fighter and has fought with Man City for quite a long time. The reason why Pep Guardiola called him back is undoubtedly because Gundogan still has reliable qualities as a leader in midfield.

Liverpool also lost to Nottingham Forest this season already and it doesn't mean they will not win the league title. Losing a few matches or having some disbalance that can be modify is not a big deal. You can not just win every match and that's what is happening to Arsenal but it is unfair to conclude that they are having erratic performance so far.

The absence of both Rodri and De Bruyne weakens the midfield of Manchester City that is generally viewed as the team’s major weapon based on which they manage the game. There is optimism that De Bruyne will return to the team soon, but a long-term injury to Rodri has left Guardiola seeking for other options to achieve the team balance. Selection of the right replacement is crucial so as to maintain high performance by the team that is assigned the tasks.

As well as talent and experience in Gundogan, he is one of the most promising players of the candidates. However, there are questions if he can perform the crucial role left by Rodri at the moment. If he cannot match the Rate then Manchester City could be hit by an inconsistency. Hence, key measures have to be taken to guaranty that the midfield stays caloric and aggressive.

Once again Arsenal using their dirty strategy to win the match, however Manchester City is great team and always trying to destroy Arsenal's defense, I'm really happy Manchester City not lose in their home.

Don't really expect too much when they meet at Emirates Stadium in the next year, Manchester City will destroy Arsenal.

Anyway nice to see Savinho is getting developed in Manchester City.

I don't think the next meeting is going to be any different from what we saw at Etihad, Manchester City had the opportunity to destroy Arsenal the way they wanted but ended up drawing the match, despite the fact that Arsenal players were down to ten men, Manchester City failed to win the match, with or without the red card, I expected Manchester City to defeat them because they are the favorite to win the league this season. However, since Manchester City finds it difficult to beat Arsenal at home, the next meeting at Emirates Stadium, if Arsenal do not win Manchester City, I believe they will not lose since Rodri will be out throughout the season due to a knee injury, which will surely have an impact on their performance.

However, Savinho improvement in his first season at City is also very amazing, as not all players adapt to a big team so quickly. His current performance reminded me of Mahrez, their former left winger.

It is just obvious that Rodri doesn't know what he is saying. From the very beginning of Arsenal's game, they always play defensively and when they are with the ball they also attack with the same energy. What Arteta boys are doing is that when they have the ball they go for a goal and when the ball is against them everyone falls and defends. The reason for doing that is not because they want a draw game is because their pattern is to concede fewer goals and secure the chances of winning. Through set piece and counter attacks.

Everybody knows that Arsenal patterns of play is always like that and I cannot dispute the fact that is not a good strategy because is actually good for them since they are not only playing defensive patterns because what makes a club to be stronger in every match is when they are able to have a good attacking energy and at the same time being able to fallback whenever the need arises, this strategy was very helpful to the club against Manchester City because if they had not decided to fallback whenever Manchester City was coming to them they wouldn't have been able to draw the match.

In the front line of Manchester City there are few key players that normally create those scoring opportunities for them and whenever they are in possession of the ball they use to be very forceful in enhancing towards the goal post of there opponents, so if there opponents are the club who doesn't understand how there scoring opportunities is being build up they would always go through a lot of pressure but since Arteta is somebody that has work with Pep Guardiola he knows the need of attacking and returning back immediately if they lose possession of the ball so that they will certainly suppress Manchester City strategy.

It is not clear whether the Arsenal team is strong enough to win the title yet. They managed to share points with City. However, the Arsenal team drew the match against Brighton. And this is why Arsenal are 2 points behind City. At the same time, Arsenal team is 1 point behind Liverpool.

Arsenal can't win a Champions League match. At the same time, their performance in the Premier League matches is somewhat erratic. If you want to win the Premier League title, you have to maintain the winning streak. If the winning streak is not continued, the team will fall behind in the title fight. But I think Manchester City or Liverpool will win this season's title.

Isn't it too early to mention which team will win the league and which will not? We are just five games out of the thirty eight games to be played and a lot will definitely happen within the period. So far, Arsenal has not been playing badly. In fact, they seem to be more dedicated than they were in the previous season. We all watched them against Manchester City and saw how they performed. Even the seasons that Manchester City won the league title they were not unbeaten throughout the season.

Liverpool also lost to Nottingham Forest this season already and it doesn't mean they will not win the league title. Losing a few matches or having some disbalance that can be modify is not a big deal. Arsenal improvement it's really commendable no doubt, let's be sincere with ourselves, they've not really gotten to the level we expect, we all want a club that can rival Manchester City toe to toe which Arsenal is looking like a club with that potentially but my problem with the Arsenal team is that, they've refused to extend this sort of prowess outside the premier League, take the champions League for instance, Arsenal are always struggle for a point when it comes to UCL as winning matches looks very difficult for them. Unlike Manchester City that dominates not only the premier League but even the champions League and other competitions, Manchester city spread their tentacles with a lot of possession in almost every competition they are involved it, this is what I want to see Arsenal do with this squad Mikel Arteta have and not been narrow-minded on only the premier League.

The match against Manchester City has showed the mentality that Arsenal have at the moment even though they failed to maintain their win in the match, playing with 10 players is a big loss for a team especially when they againts one of the best teams in Europe in the match, Manchester continued to be able to pressure Arsenal after Arsenal lost one player and in the end the draw looked fair in the match,  In my opinion, Arsenal are in the current transition stage from what has happened to them over the last 20 years, especialy the improvement that is happening in many European teams today certainly gives a lot of competition in the UCL and in this case we can say Arsenal are still very far behind, but despite the difficulty of competing in the UCL, I think at the moment it is better for Arteta to make the EPL their main focus and widen their competition in the UCL later when their are completely ready..
