Chelsea's last three games have been very bad. Losing to Ipswich Town and Fulham is an unacceptable result. They have been doing quite well at the beginning of the season and hopefully, they will fix everything this season with better results.
Facing Crystal Palace is not easy to predict. Chelsea must get out of their bad cycle and try to do their best in the next match. Crystal Palace is not a strong team this season, but Chelsea still cannot underestimate them. If not, the result might not be much different when facing Ipswich Town.
You remember when coach Enzo Maresca said his aren't interested in carrying any title? I think it's a way of removing criticism from him in the sense that should they go back down, they will not receive much tongue lashing from fans and the public alike because he earlier stated their intentions towards the title race. If you ask me, I'd say we give them a chance to see if they can go back up and despite their current poor performance, it's not too late to go back to giving fans good results.
sometimes mind game can go to the extent that it becomes a problem for the players that will become too relaxed and assume that they are never in the title race. Enzo Maresca did well by not putting no pressure in the mind of her players so they can play comfortably but at this point, it is clear that the strategy is not working as expected. had it been the mind is there to challenge the teams at the top that they are ready to contend for the title, it would have given any opponent they are going against some sort of fright knowing that you are playing against a potential winner of the league. having this kind of result for four consecutive game is bad enough and is enough to demoralize players to even getting more bad result in the coming games. even though December break is not always easy for them, with the players they have at the moment who are all doing really well, these results doesn't even show that they have such dept of players.

After further information that the match will still be held, it was almost postponed due to severe weather warnings filled with heavy snow. However according to the latest reports the situation at Anfiled has started to improve so what are your expectations in this match? How confident are Man United to withstand Liverpool onslaught?
For me The Reds can definitely win the match and the score can be more unpredictable. Don't be afraid, 7-0 will not happen again but at least Mo Salah can score more than 1 goal.

Chelsea is really in need of a prolific striker. They would have won that match if not that Jackson was missing most of their scoring chances. I won't even blame him for giving Chelsea a direct winning. Myself I did same thing, I was really hoping that Chelsea will return to winning ways after dropping points in their recent matches. That was what motivated me to give Chelsea a straight win. They started very well and go an early goal. It's just bad that Jackson is such a wasteful player. Chelsea would have been doing far better than they are currently if only they had landed Osimhen during the summer.
Nicolas Jackson as a Chelsea top striker right now is just a minus one for the team, in one game you will think he's improving and before you know it he starts underperforming again in the next match making Chelsea waste away goal chances which could have helped the team to take all three points.

Since their last two consecutive losses to Fulham and Ipswich Town I haven't really played them a straight win in my bets, it's either I am predicting them for a win/draw or over1.5.  I think Enzo Maresca would really have to make the best use of this January transfer window to get for the club a very precise and definite striker with a high goal conversion rate than continually depending on Nickolas Jackson to improve someday while the team continue losing or drawing supposed won matches.

What I predicted and believed from the start was absolutely right, Manchester City managed to win landslide victory with score of 4 - 1 and in this match Haaland was again seen performing more impressively, at least he gave 2 goal for Manchester City victory which also became one of the players with the highest rating in this match.
Hopefully after this victory they can gain better confidence and truly restore their mentality as before as very strong squad that is always concern for anyone who will face them, the chance to win the title is indeed very small but they must be able to get place in the top 3 this season.
You see, as soon as City's attack starts scoring like it used to, they leave no chance for their opponents. And imagine if City scored only one goal again, it would only be a draw again, so it is very important for City to score a lot, because their defense is not as good as it used to be, and in any case Guardiola has always put more emphasis on the attack. But Leicester and West Ham are not the strongest opponents and these teams have a weak defense, so we need to see how City will play against stronger opponents.

Imagine, look at where the Gunners are leading instead of the league table as a team that's suppose to win the league, this is awful and this very Arsenal side don't have that winning mentality, let's say it comes and goes, they're not steady. If they qualify for the champions league spot that means the Gunners are only fighting for the top 4 like always. I hate to see them competing for the champions league without winning it. Liverpool are still not safe on the log and I think UTD can win or draw today's game to reduce the point gap and Arsenal just threw away the opportunity they had, how I wish is Manchester City that have this chance Arsenal wasted, they would have done better.
Their coach, Mikel Arteta has many years of learning with Pep Guardiola and his beauty, sexy football philosophy, was expected to develop his coach career with similar approach. With time, Arteta changed himself and his philosophy now is very different than Pep's and I think Arteta now has changed himself to be more similar to Diego Simeone in Atletico Madrid and Jose Mourinho.

I did not know about this stats if you didn't share it, but I am not surprised with performances of Arsenal in this season. Arteta after some seasons in Arsenal, building up this squad more competitive even for Premier League title, changed to become more realistic. He and Arsenal want titles, and they no longer want to play sexy, entertaining football but at the season ending, no title in hands.

Is Arsenal a better competitor or they're a joke to their owners and supporters?🤔 This is becoming serious for a team many people are hoping on lifting the trophy to be playing a very unserious football. How can they win when they don't have what it takes to be the champions? I noticed something about Arsenal maybe I'm the only one that is putting too much meaning to it. I don't know if is Man City that is giving Arsenal the morela to fight hard to be at the top or second on the table because since Man City have not been at the top 4 of the table the Gunners have not been that competitive at all, by this time last season they're either 1st or 2nd on the log but now the second position they're in doesn't look like they needed to be their to add more pressure to the league leaders Liverpool.
Well I still can't say if all I said is what has been happening to the Arsenal team because looking at them yesterday against Brighton is not the kind of team that wants to be at the top that played, is was so disappointing.
Now we might be talking about Liverpool, Arsenal, and Chelsea even the Nottingham Forest side to compete for the title but we forget that Manchester City are gradually coming to make the competition a bit serious because I don't see those teams below Liverpool as serious contenders, 2 games unbeaten and is something to worry about, if the Citizens continue winning and catching up to either the 3rd spot or 2nd I believe they should be given that attention they ones had.

Arsenal is a joke. No more title race for them. The gap to the Liverpool is very damn big atm, and i have no reason to call them as a title contender this time. They do have quality to secure a spot n Champion League, but they will not be a Champion in the prestigious competition such as PL.

I know that Manchester City's performance this season is still quite erratic and weak. We have seen Manchester City lose points against weak teams in many matches. But even then, I believe that Manchester City will not make any mistakes against West Ham and will be able to win. However, betting on Manchester City's victory is still quite risky.

Manchester City's past record against West Ham is very good. I checked the results of the matches between these two teams. Out of the last 15 matches between City and West Ham, Manchester City has won 12 matches and lost only one match. Manchester City players have scored 3 goals each in the last 4 matches against West Ham. Hopefully, we will see Manchester City win in the next match as well.
What I predicted and believed from the start was absolutely right, Manchester City managed to win landslide victory with score of 4 - 1 and in this match Haaland was again seen performing more impressively, at least he gave 2 goal for Manchester City victory which also became one of the players with the highest rating in this match.

The news has just appear today that Manchester United did dare decision recently because they have been decide to extended Harry Maguire contract until 2026 i think this is very surprising because previously we always be talking about the decline performance of Harry Maguire he even quite often to make blunder which caused Manchester United lost from important matches so mostly the fans want Manchester United to sell this player because he unable to give important contribution for them but apparently Amorim will including Maguire into his plan for next season and will give Maguire more chances to play

Source : https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1875173949228847590
Although Manchester United had previously considered selling Harry Maguire due to his inconsistent form and frequent errors, it now seems unlikely given to his recent improvements and return to form.  Maguire’s performance has been more composed and his contribution to the team have grown more and with the talks for a possible contract extension at the club the likelihood of his departure may seems unlikely.
Harry Maguire was not very effective for Manchester United at the start of last season and there were many rumors about selling the defender but Manchester United eventually kept him at their club. However, this defender is currently performing quite well and is becoming one of the mainstays of Manchester United's defence. As his performance has improved considerably, Manchester United might be satisfied with his performance now and this defender will try to play his best for Manchester United. However, since this defender is old enough, Manchester United need to consider an alternative defender so that if this defender gets injured or leaves the club, they can play another defender in his place.

They're improving and things can only get better for Manchester city from here henceforth since the January window for transfer is around and players can be bought that'll help strengthen the Manchester city squad to give them more advantages when they play. Also Manchester city has always won WestHam when they play so this mightn't really be that Manchester city has regained their form but just a game that they'll win regardless of how poor their form are. We have to wait until Manchester city plays another club before we can conclude that they're finally back to form. When they win that club and also win in a big way as they did today then they're back in form.
Manchester City are starting to find their rhythm after some bad results previously and they have managed to get two wins so far. Against a much weaker team it may not be completely good because the opponents Manchester City face are much weaker and maybe some improvements are needed for Pep Guardiola's men to get back on track. The win also gives them the opportunity to catch up in the top five because the points gap between third and fifth is not that far so it gives them the opportunity to catch up in the next game.
It's been two consecutive win so far for Manchester city but West ham wasn't meant to be a tough opponent same as Leicester city. Their game with Brentford and Chelsea will really prove if they have found their rhythm or maybe they took advantage of weak teams to earn some points. Brentford might not even be a true test but obviously Chelsea should give them the tough game then deserve.

Gaurdiolla still has work to do. Maybe the transfer window will sharpen the team further than keep them on track for the competitions they have at hand. For now I still see city as a struggling team this season until they are able to prove otherwise.
Truly I wouldn't consider Leceister City and West Ham as formidable opponent that would be used to rate the resurgence of Man City, though their back to back to win would improve their confidence and ease off some pressure on the team and Pep Guordiola, however the veracity of their resurgence is when they play tough formidable opponents as you rightly saidbeside did you think Man City is aiming to win title again this season? I don't think it's possible going by Liverpool consistency in winning their matches and other teams wouldn't get defeated by Man City to gain points,I think their priority now is to qualify for top four spot.

There are many rumors related to Man City Transfer. Guardiola wants Sunderland goalkeeper, then Dani Olmo who cannot be included in Barcelona's official roster, Eintracht Frankfurt forward Omar Marsmoush and most importantly to strengthen Manchester City's midfield is Atalanta midfielder Ederson. It seems that Pep will spend a lot to improve the team's strength for the second half. Because I'm sure Man City's owners don't seem to be stingy about spending money. But Man City seem to have to be careful so that they do not violate the FFP.

..................

Chelsea have considered recruiting a new striker to sharpen their attack line, where Chelsea had glanced at Nigerian player Viktor Osimhen, but unfortunately Napoli set a high price, so Chelsea canceled their intention to bring Osimhen to Stamford Bridge. and the latest information I got, Chelsea is currently eyeing a player who currently plays for Newcastle. thanks to his impressive performance with Necastel, Alexander Isak is currently one of Chelsea's targets, but Alexander Isak has a fairly long contract with Newcastle, but if Chelsea makes a tempting offer, maybe Newcastle could release him.

Damn why Chelsea had to destroy my bet this time only able to get a draw against Crystal Palace, Chelsea should have been able to win this match based on their performance but unfortunately Chelsea was only able to score 1 goal that was in the first half, in the second half Chelsea could not do much Crystal Palace was able to equalize when the match was about to end and the score became 1: 1, this draw certainly harms me and maybe for other bettors who make Chelsea the favorite to win.

How could you give Chelsea a direct win in this match? Didn't you check their previous stats and performance? Everton, Fulham and Ipswich all snatched points from Chelsea in a row and you really thought they would win against Crystal Palace? You should have double chance them knowing that they have only gotten one point playing against average teams in a row.

These games were the most easiest matches for Chelsea to maximise points and becomes solid on standing maintaining a spot in top four but at the moment, with Manchester City and Newcastle regaining their form again, being in top four is already a dashed dream for Chelsea. Let them not get a prolific striker this January and they'll continue to drop deeper.

The top 4 that was once in their grasp is gradually slipping from them. Manchester city games has improved like you rightly pointed out. This is not a time for Chelsea to be losing matches. Jackson should be sold and Chelsea should go get Gyokeres so that they can compete very well and increase their chances of making it to the top 4.

Arsenal is a joke. No more title race for them. The gap to the Liverpool is very damn big atm, and i have no reason to call them as a title contender this time. They do have quality to secure a spot n Champion League, but they will not be a Champion in the prestigious competition such as PL.

Hopefully, they will stop to do time wasting coz they won't get trophy this year. It's very obvious Liverpool is the winner.
I rather see you as the joker than see Arsenal as such, perhaps you did not study the situation very well before you started downgrading the club. Arsenal has tried its best and the time wasted is not as significant as you make it look, what about those clubs that were not mentioned in your list but still have no place on the table? The tournament continues and we still have enough months for any clubs to prove their worth further, even Nottingham Forest which holds the 3rd position and is 3 points behind Arsenal is still a viable trophy contender.

What you guys see presently is your primary reason to judge but no one knows the future. What if Liverpool makes mistakes and Arsenal overtakes them easily within the next 2 months? It's only 5 points Liverpool gaps Arsenal with but I wonder why that looks like 15 points to you judging by your rebuking and undermining tone.

Arsenal is still a good contender because 5 point is not that big to make them not a contender unless Liverpool will win Manchester United today in other to increase from 5 point to 8 points but if Manchester United will at least get a draw today then we will no that Arsenal have 6 points to fight against, though if Liverpool play seven matches with the same point difference with Arsenal then I will no longer put Arsenal as a contender because by then Liverpool will be very close to victory, Arsenal really failed yesterday for not wining Brighton when Nwaneri was not only celebrating his goal but also with the belief that they have won Brighton but Petro equalise with penalty.

Supporting Manchester United way exhausting asf but nothing worse than fanning Arsenal only to see them bottle opportunities they have to the top. I will blame the official for that game against Brighton yesterday, that was nowhere near to be called a penalty but what do I know? What can i say? I think they're not brave enough with what they want. Makes me feel like Mikel Arteta is a shy pussy 'one manager who cannot go all out for what he wants.

I think January is a good time to decide who wins the premier league competition and no better clubs comes to mind at the moment than Liverpool. They have a good chance and also the right manager for the club. The hierarchies of Liverpool did proper research before bringing him in for the the job.

Their momentum seems to be starting to form for now, where with 2 consecutive wins and a big win over West Ham, the conditions that Manchester City have now slowly began to show quite good results.

But this cannot be used as a satisfaction in the end because after all, by looking at the current conditions this is the beginning for them to make a move especially with the conditions that occur now, of course we realize that these 2 wins are still not enough to bring them to a better path of trophy hunting so that in the end this momentum still has to continue Manchester City to maintain so that they do not fall into the same situation as their times before the half season ends.

Now they also still have to focus on strengthening the squad because indeed this can be important for them in making movements in finding new players so that they can get back into the trophy race.

Arsenal would be champions if they didn't drop points so easily, but they always waste the opportunities they get. You're ahead against Brighton & Hove Albion, you're playing superior, score the second goal and finish the job. But it can't happen, they have to concede a goal. They haven't won four games in a row in the league this season. Arsenal can't afford to drop points like this when Liverpool are in such form. They won't be champions this season either if they continue like that.
Arsenal seem set to repeat last season history, being a trophy contender but failing to win it again at the end of the season. I think that's the impact of the draw they got against Brighton today, it means letting Liverpool lead the standings alone, and Arsenal failed to put any significant pressure on. Most likely Arsenal will have difficulty reducing the points gap that has been created, because Liverpool continues to show very consistent performance.

I think that's the main reason why Arteta should target a sharp striker, who can make a difference in the results of the match, so that they don't lose momentum to win trophies again. Actually, I'm also not so sure that Arsenal will be able to perform consistently in the future, so that they have the opportunity to overtake Liverpool at the top of the standings. The decline in Man City performance this season should have provided an easier path for Arsenal to end their title drought.

In my opinion that is also the case, if for example Arsenal continues like that then history will definitely repeat itself where Arsenal will again be runners up at the end of the season. Yes, it is true that the impact of the draw against Brighton had a very negative impact on Arsenal and I don't think we will know whether Arteta will be able to improve Arsenal or not, but what is certain is that it would be a shame if history repeated itself again for Arsenal. Yes, of course it is not easy to reduce the points gap between Liverpool and Arsenal because Arne Slot's troops are really extraordinary in their game and their performance to date has not shown any decline, of course this will definitely make it difficult for Arsenal to shift their position.

Yes indeed, if for example there were many sharp players that Arsenal has, it would definitely make Arsenal perform well and the results of each match would definitely be better. Yes, at first I personally thought that when Manchester City's performance dropped, Arsenal would perform better, but it's a shame because Arsenal's performance also dropped, of course this made it easier for Liverpool to become champions.

Yes, of course we'll see Arsenal's next match against Tottenham and if Arsenal doesn't win that match it will definitely make it even more difficult for Arsenal to realize their dream of becoming EPL champions. Who do you think will win the match, Tottenham or Arsenal?

Man City began to move on from the defeat, they won again for the second time in a row, in this match Haaland scored again to bring his team to victory. The win over West Ham was a step forward to bounce back and build momentum again. The four goals scored indicate that the team's performance is getting better, overall, this is the beginning for Man City to return to the best level.
Now they are only two points behind Chelsea who are in fourth place, the opportunity to re-enter the top four is increasingly open, they only need to maintain the balance of the team to continue to achieve positive results in order to appear in the UCL next season.
