The front lines need to be evaluated by the coach because I see that there are many opportunities that are missed by them, the match looks fair for Leicester City ending in a draw but for Tottenham it is very unfavorable.
In addition to surviving well we also need to give appreciation to their goalkeeper.
Jamie Vardy is still a mainstay for the coach because he plays well when facing Tottenham.
In fact, in terms of ball possession in the match, Tottenham was far superior to the home team and also managed to score a goal against the home team (Leicester City). But Tottenham couldn't even score another goal in the second half after getting a goal in return from one of Leicester City's players, namely Jamie Vardy. This is really a loss for Tottenham because they have to share points in their first match this season even though there are still many others that Tottenham could have won, but for their first match, it is clear that Leicester City is more advantageous than Tottenham.

Chelsea preparing eight-player firesale which could land £200m transfer windfall

The fire sale could easily top £200m. And there will be huge names heading for the Stamford Bridge exit door with Raheem Sterling, Ben Chilwell and Romelu Lukaku among the potential departures. Conor Gallagher is set to lead the exodus with his £36m transfer to Atletico Madrid back on after Chelsea agreed a £45m deal for Joao Felix to go in the opposite direction.

Portugal star Felix’s impending arrival means Chelsea have more than 30 names trying to get a Premier League squad which only has 25 places. But almost as importantly, Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca must trim his bloated squad to ensure he has a harmonious dressing room for the forthcoming season.

There is nothing more destructive for any manager than to have big name players around the club knowing that they have no chance of playing because they have not even been registered.

It is the Felix deal which will sharpen the focus for Chelsea to move players on - and yet they will need to be clever negotiators. The problem is that other clubs will be able to see Chelsea coming from a mile off. They need to sell - and fast. That will mean other clubs will be determined to drive a hard bargain.

I agree that Manchester United is the favorite for tonight's match against Fulham. They have a strong team even with some players injured and have a good chance of winning. I also think there will be more than two goals in the game, so an over 2.5 bet could be a good prediction. I believe Manchester United will come out on top tonight.

What are you saying here? What part of the world are you living in that your time is not updated? It's honorable to keep silent if you don't have anything reasonable to say or if you don't have knowledge or current information about the conversation. Manchester united played against Fulham in the opening game for this year EPL. Manchester united won the match by one goal to nil at their own playground (old Trafford).

You probably don't use to watch football, read news or even playing bet. If you are current with any of these you would be aware that the match has been played already and the post you are responding to dated back to 16th of this month and today is 21st. This mean the post is not recent as you portray in your own post. I wonder if you have ever won a bet before since you can not even predict correctly on a game being played for more than three days ago.

Foden became the PFA's best player for 2023/2024, Foden beat Haaland. I also feel Foden deserves to be there, his performance is very good. Foden's victory is good news for Man City because for 5 years 4 Man City players have won the PFA event. Last year Haaland won. Foden has also been selected as the best young player 2 times.

Meanwhile, for the best version of the PFA team, Man City and Arsenal players dominate 11 main players. Perhaps it is not surprising for the 11-man squad dominated by Man City and Arsenal players as they are in 1st and 2nd place at the end of the competition.

It's well deserved for Foden!!. Despite having a poor performance in the Euros 2024, Foden was carrying us last season to win the PL trophy. I read where people wondered if Rodri would win it. But, surprisingly, Foden was getting it. Foden and Rodri were our best players. But, we must take a different view. If we take country into account, it's clear Rodri is better than Foden, and otherwise.

Even though Rodri was not winning it. But, he still had a chance on bdor. Hopefully, we will see him come to the city with his bdor trophy. It'll make me so happy to see City's players get PFA and Bdor at the same time.
We can’t rule out the fact that Foden has a good season with Manchester City and he was instrumental to their success last season. He took over the responsibilities and duties of Kevin Debruyne when he got injured in the early part of the season. And gave the team a new dimension and confidence to play and retain their league title.

He might not have performed very well in the Euros but it was an overall team poor performance form the English National team. He was deployed in a system that he wasn’t familiar with but still performed at that young age.

I understand how a lot of football fans wanted Rodri  or Halaand to win the award, but with this award it shows that his fellow footballers recognized him. The Players that voted gave their opinions and yes he won it fair and square.

It's an opinion at the end of the day. They are at liberty to give theirs as we are under no obligation to accept their opinion as well.

Foden without a doubt had an excellent season last year. He was purely phenomenal and exceptional for Manchester City. This shows that Manchester city is actually a good club. It is not easy to see a club that is been build around one person and someone who also is not the second top man still made his way to the top.

Just imagine KDB being the top man, and Haaland being the second top man and yet, Foden had his way to win the PFA award. If he should remain consistent, he could achieve same fit this season.
There is no doubt that Foden is indeed a player who has quite good individual quality so that it is likely that if he is not injured, he will be able to contribute greatly to the Manchester City team like last season or even better.

And for Foden's less than optimal first match against Chelsea, I think it is not a problem because Foden joined the team late and he was also not included in the starting line-up from the start and overall I see that nothing has changed from Manchester City and I think as long as Pep Guardiola is still the coach of Manchester City, this team will remain strong even though there are some changes in each season.

It could be Fulham as an underdog team to surprise tonight, but I feel sure they will not be able to face Manchester United, this team has made changes in the Erik Ten Hag Era now even though several players have suffered injuries, the Red Devils can still anticipate to fight Fulham.

The Manchester United odds are still good so it's probably worth a bet on singles, but I'm going for a parlay bet because I've seen some easy matches to predict, (in my own estimation). It could be Manchester United winning easily they will not make any more blunders.
AS an opening match of the season I am yet to underestimate any team against the other for now not until a few games has been played with each team displaying their form of the new season. However, Manchester united appear to be the favourite in tonight's game as a result of their glory in the competition. Under normal circumstance Manchester united should win the match but not in a light manner. I see more than two goals from this game so an over2.5 single bet would make a good prediction.

I thought Jamie Vardy will be absense when Leicester met Tottenham but apparently he is in the good fitness and the manager has decide to playing him and once again Jamie Vardy has became an the saviour of Leicester because with his goal Leicester can avoiding to lost and although Leicester only can collect 1 point i think this is good start

There was something interesting when the match against Tottenham last weekend because Jamie Vardy has attempts to provoking Tottenham supporters by showing Premier League patch on his jersey and he said Leicester has at least 1 title which much better than Tottenham which have zero title of Premier league

More what? It's always funny whenever I read stuffs like this on here. How can you say he needs more time, this is a player that had quick impact immediately he got signed in last season for Chelsea. Cole Palmer do not need more time, he needs to find himself with the right strategy and tactics and all that faults from Enzo Maresca if he can not see that

Cole Palmer should be right behind the striker, he is a great attacking midfieder. People who play football and watch football well will definitely understand what I'm saying.

As for Enzo Fernandez, it's either they use him as a defensive midfielder or 8 In midfied. He is not an attacking midfieder, whenever I see him their the football I'm watching becomes boring, he might be creative but not as a 10. We'll see what Enzo Maresca has next week against Wolverhampton. Christopher Nkuku also should be used on the left wing, with Pedro Neto on the right.

Hahaha @Oluwa-btc, you know it will always seem funny each time you read these things here in the gambling board because some just want to use words to shield their favorite player maybe to support them.
I agree with you completely about what you said, Cole Palmer doesn't need any second or a month before becoming the best he was last season, all he needs is try to adjust because Enzo Maresca is confused on how to fix these guys in their best position, I said it on one of my post. You can't make one of the best in your team look like a flop and you expect a better result, no it can't happen, now things that's making Palmer not to be at his best is on the manager and how he use them, it will pain me the more if the player (Cole Palmer) doesn't perform well this season because of the manager.
Definitely, if he (Palmer) plays behind the annoying striker (I so much dislike how Jackson operate in that attack) it will be more effective than playing from the wing, he doesn't have that energy to over run players but the creativity he brings is enough to make every opponent stand on their toes and while holding the ball he becomes a threat to opposition defenders.
My question about Enzo is what is he even doing going up front when he knows the back is not that secured with Caicedo all alone and the player (Caicedo) isn't sharp in that position and I can't really tell why he's slow when trying to get the ball off opposition? I prefer Enzo to either start ahead of Caicedo than letting him play as a 10 or 8, he doesn't have anything special to give, is best for him to play as a defensive midfielder I believe he will help the defenders while Caicedo can come in as a sub.

Foden really deserve this trophy, he's too underrated.

Manchester City only need to find a reliable left winger, there are Grealish, Doku and Savio, but all of them aren't perform.

Unfortunately Foden is really inconsistent, I doubt that he can perform like the last year.

Man City are dominating the Premier League.
They have been champions for years, and their players have also won individual titles. Haaland was the top scorer of the tournament but he still could not win the best player award, instead, Foden was the one honored. This is understandable because Haaland does not contribute much to Man City's gameplay. Meanwhile, Foden does a good job of replacing De Bruyne whenever the Belgian midfielder is absent. When De Bruyne returned, Foden did not show any signs of fading. Foden's importance in Man City's attack last season is undeniable. Foden is on a meteoric rise. In addition to his goals and attacking creativity, Foden has once again demonstrated his tactical versatility by playing in a variety of positions for Man City. he once again proved his quality when deployed wide or in a more creative central position.

And in the competition for best young player, Palmer was honored. He beat other candidates, including two notable MU stars Garnacho and Mainoo, to win the award. Palmer in the Premier League last season was only behind Haaland in the race for the Golden Boot. I see potential in a young player like Palmer, but with him coming into the new era of coach Enzo Maresca, I fear his talent will be misused.

In the closing match of the week, we watched Leicester City and Totthenham. Totthenham played good football in the match but failed to win away from home. Jamie Vardy scored early in the second half and the game ended in a 1-1 draw. Of course I expected Tottenham to win this game because they are the favorites and it would be advantageous for them to start the league well.  The fact that Vardy is still performing like this at the age of 38 is a real bonus for Leicester.

Leicester City played a fantastic game against Tottenham Spurs, though Leicester City had the strength to score goals, but I wasn't expecting the match to end in a draw. Leicester City performed like they had never left the Premier League, they were promoted this season, and I expected them to have a difficult time starting the season as they had already hired a new manager since Maresca, who got them promoted last season, agreed to continue with Chelsea this season. Despite the fact that James Vardy turned 37 this year, I believe Leicester's management understands his worth and has offered him another one year contract to stay this season.

However, it is a strong start to the season for Steve Cooper to draw against Tottenham Spurs, one point is also very important since Cooper was sacked by Nottingham Forest last season, he has finally had a new club, and I see improvement in their first Premier League game, I hope that he continues to have success with this team before getting fired because Leicester would avoid relegation at all costs.

It seems Palmer needs more time to adapt to the new mechanism. Palmer was isolated in the last game when he played as a right winger, and i'd prefer to see him play at Enzo F's position. This is because Enzo F looked so garbage, and i think he shall be untouchable this season. Every time Enzo F plays, we rarely get a positive result.
Or there's also an alternative option to replace Enzo with Nkuku to play as CAM. Maresca made some adjustments to replace Enzo with Palmer/Nkuku. That will solve their problem.

In first week of matches has been completed and shows how each top team achieved their first victory, this will be very exciting start to the Premier League competition.
I know for the second week it is still very clear that Manchester City, Arsenal and also Liverpool are top team that can always be relied on by everyone, they will only face team that are far below their performance level and victory is clearly guaranteed.
This time I interested in Manchester United who will meet Brighton away, I curious whether Ten Hag and his players will be able to win and save full points like in their previous first match.
Bookie shows the odds between the two are only slightly different, they still have number more than @ 2.00 and this is fairly good number but difficult to choose.

They need to adapt and balance all the strengths of the clubs in the Premier League if they want to survive and it is not easy because the competition in the EPL is very tight at least they can survive in the middle of the board to be safe from the relegation zone over time they start to get used to the atmosphere in this league, for Leicester City I think this club has the ability to continue to survive because they were previously also a fairly respected club in the Premier League and have won titles here, last season Leicester City was also the club ranked 1 in the Championship which was promoted.
I think he will continue to survive if he does not experience a large point deduction penalty like Everton last season because I saw the latest news about this club committing FFP violations.

Source: point deduction penalty

Leicester and Southampton were previously relegated because they were unable to compete. and this season they returned to the Premier League. a good opportunity but it must also be balanced with hard work to be able to compete. we know that in terms of the quality of the players in their team, it will be difficult to compete with strong teams with better players.

it is still very early to judge the newly promoted teams. but we can see a team like Nottingham who was promoted to the Premier League in the 2022-2023 season. they were able to survive in the Premier League even though they had to stay at the bottom of the standings. it is not easy for a newly promoted team to compete in the Premier League. but some teams have shown they are capable, it is not impossible that the teams that were promoted this season should also be able to.

They can adapt if they have a good financial.

The level between Premier League and Championship is really far, the best team and best player in Championship mostly flop when they play in Premier League, but B class player in Premier League can destroy all Championship teams.

If Championship players want to compete against Premier League, they should move to La Liga/Serie A/Bundesliga instead of getting promoted.

Yes I also think draw was fair result for both Leicester and Tottenham. Tottenham controlled game and had many chances to score but they did not get lucky. Leicester played their usual game defending well and counterattacking quickly. They were lucky to get draw I really appreciate Jamie Vardy great goal.

Tottenham needs to improve their goal scoring to reach their full potential. Leicester main goal is to avoid being relegated. With Jamie Vardy leading by example they have good foundation to build on. And you are right it is hard to repeat their amazing season from 2015-2016 but getting point in the first game shows they are ready to compete in the Premier League.

The front lines need to be evaluated by the coach because I see that there are many opportunities that are missed by them, the match looks fair for Leicester City ending in a draw but for Tottenham it is very unfavorable.

Jamie Vardy is still a mainstay for the coach because he plays well when facing Tottenham.

Fatawu became the most prominent player in the match because he played pretty well.
Tottenham is very disadvantaged by the results of the match because if you pay attention to them are far more dominant and there must be more than two goals they should have created.

The 3 EPL promotion clubs Leicester, Southampton, and Ipswich all did not get 3 points. Only Leicester City was able to get 1 point. Of course, Leicester is indeed a team that has better players, they are able to keep up with Tottenham. Meanwhile, Ipswich they had to lose because they were against Liverpool. Meanwhile, Sothampton lost to the rich club Newcastle. This result is certainly not a picture of 1 season but I hope these 3 promoted teams are able to compete to work hard to stay in the EPL.

This season might be the season that we'll see some disappointing performance from Cole Palmer, although the game against Manchester City was the first game but it seems like this man Enzo Maresca is not really giving Palmer the position he needed to excel in the game, the fans wasn't impressed with how slow he was in that game against City and to be honest Enzo Maresca is some how killing the team with lack of understanding of the players positions, he doesn't know what to do when he's under pressure and because of that the sub he makes ain't suppose to be.

It seems Palmer needs more time to adapt to the new mechanism. Palmer was isolated in the last game when he played as a left winger, and i'd prefer to see him play at Enzo F's position.

The thing about this coach is that he hasn't gotten his first eleven and he has not found out how to use these players to play at a position that will bring out their best. How can Palmer be playing from the wing knowing fully well that this is the engine room of Chelsea last season? You make Cole the main man of distributing the balls the the careless attacker they have Jackson but he (Cole Palmer) was pushed aside to seek for the action of the game, I hope the next game Enzo Maresca will make a change on that aspect.
And besides these two guys are not even doing well playing together, Enzo and Caicedo, the connection is not there. They don't play like they understand the game, non of them is dropping to make that final challenge on the opponent, they allow players to run through the before they wake up and start tracking back which is very poor to me, so these guys don't need to start at ones.

Quote
And again, i have the same thought as you about Palmer's productivity this season.
I don't expect him to score more than 20 goals like last season.

We should keep the goal scoring aside, let's look at his performance this season, I think he'll be a bit slow with the way he handles the game like a complete new player, that's the thing with some players and their first season of wonders. I wish it never happens because I so much love how he carries the team on his shoulder and pushing them to a different style of play but if he doesn't do those things it affects the whole team which means he's the heart of the team. I don't want to see it as Enzo doesn't know how to make use of this guy Palmer, well the next game will tell.
