Indeed, pushing yourself too hard is very obvious with Chelsea's total spending this season, it is indeed not easy for Chelsea with the early match to fight Man City who are in full power compared to Chelsea who are relatively new pioneers with a newly brought in squad, this is the frequent change of management and impact on Chelsea's performance in the last few seasons, at least giving full trust or can also recruit a top coach to improve Chelsea's game performance, compared to buying expensive players who are not necessarily in accordance with expectations and can even decline or vice versa, hoping that Chelsea can rise in the next match by getting full points.
Chelsea is one of most successful clubs in Premier League last twenty years and they are a club from Premier League won two Champions League title recent years. There are other clubs like Manchester City and Liverpool won one Champions League title recent seasons. With very considerable money spent for player transfers last three years, it's hard to accept low rank in Premier League for Chelsea's boss and they will lose patience with the coach soon if results continue to be bad in coming matches.

Losing to Manchester City is bad but not the end of season because the opponent is a strongest team in Premier League recent years. The point is they shown very poor performance in that match and there is very little signals that they will be able to play better in next matches. Their fans have negative reactions and feel disappointed because of this reason, not only a defeat by a strong opponent like Manchester City.
Chelsea which was previously only a mediocre team, turned into a team challenging for the English League title and also the UCL when Abramovich took over the team, Abramovich ambition in building Chelsea at that time was very big and in fact and it was no different from Todd Boehly today which also spent a lot of money to build the chelsea squad becoming strong, but the difference is that Abramovich trusts the process more than what is currently expected by Todd Boehly who wants to see Chelsea immediately become champions and that is why Abramovich's Chelsea is the most successful Chelsea in club history in my opinion.

Well in my own opinion, the difference between roman abrahimovic era and this Todd boehly era is very clear to see to even the neutral fan that knows little about Chelsea, but knows Chelsea then and how they operate.
During the era of roman abrahimovic, Chelsea are mostly signing only proven players, not players that will come into the team and be experimenting to know if their level and quality is up to the standard of the club, as at then, anyone that is being signed into the club, they expect him to deliver immediately, because he is already a proven player, not this nonsense Todd boehly is doing with the club.

While in this Todd boehly era, Chelsea are just wasting their money signing unproven players, youngsters that they are not even sure that they have what it takes to play an succeed at the top level, and all this stupid decisions and signings from Todd boehly is what have kept Chelsea like this, because almost everyone in the team are average players, unlike the roman abrahimovic era when Chelsea only sign players that are ready to compete, not amateur players.

They beat them in a friendly (4-2) and now they beat them in the opening round. Man City is just too strong for Chelsea.
It wasn't a super-exciting game but City had it under control from that early Haaland's goal.
Important away win for the Citizens, given how hard it was to win the league last season, they know they cannot afford to lose any points and have to be 100% focussed from the start.

As for Chelsea, I don't think sacking Pochettino was a good move and I don't expect they will do much better under Maresca.

No matter how Chelsea signs players this season will be worse than last season for them, the reason why the season is going to be worse is because of the coach they sacked, I will never stop saying sacking Pochettino is a very big mistake for Chelsea and they will face the consequences of sacking him, what pochettino is building at the end of last season to make Chelsea a good team this season is very huge but the team did not see him as a good coach and they brought another coach, Chelsea is a team that the management of the club did not know what they were doing, they don’t know the uses of their money if not they will not be signing players even the ones that will not play for them this season, Chelsea are making a lot of mistakes and they don’t know.

In the match against Chelsea and Manchester City, I knew that Manchester City was going to defeat Chelsea, Manchester City is a team that is going to calm down and defeat their opponents and that is what they do with Chelsea, all Chelsea players are not performing well in the match and some fans are coming out and be saying that Cole Palmer didn’t play well as they are expected, sometimes supporting Chelsea is like a big headache to their fans.

It is very natural for a club owner to be disappointed with the bad results achieved by his team, but Todd Boehly should also realize that Chelsea is currently in a new era of relying on young players, so they need time to develop, but in my opinion, Todd Boehly biggest mistake at the moment was to fire Pochettino last season, even though if we look at that time Chelsea started to develop at the end of the season and if Pochettino was still the coach then this season they would have a good squad and were mentally ready to compete in the English league, the first defeat should have been an evaluation for Maresca and with the season still long, of course she has plenty of time to develop her squad's performance to be better in the next match.

There is no need to remember past merits, then everything was different, different management, different players, and now Chelsea have changed a lot and a number of mistakes have made them a team that cannot even finish the season in the Champions League zone. I thought that Chelsea would start with a loss, and the point is not even that their opponent was City, the reason is that Maresca did not try to save what Pochettino built, but simply started to build something new, at his own discretion, so he will need a lot of time to achieve something, maybe even more than Pochettino, but Boehly will also fire him by that time.

Chelsea and Manchester City played an important match in the first week. Manchester City managed to defeat their opponent away. Chelsea didn't play badly either. Manchester City have an established squad and manager. Therefore, they were the more advantageous side and got the win.
Brentford won 2-1 against Crystal Palace and became one of the teams that closed the first week with 3 points. Although Crystal Palace was one better than their opponent, they failed to win.

Manchester City started strong. Also, as you said, Brentford’s win allowed them to close out the first week with a solid 3 points, which is great Grin

Despite the club owner willingness to splurge part of his wealth in the transfer market for Chelsea to recruit the new players according to the newly appointed manager wish list, Chelsea still lost their opening match against Manchester City in front of their home fans. I guess it will not take a long time for Chelsea to replace their club manager once again if the new manager are only able to lead Chelsea hovering around the middle of the table throughout the whole new season.
Yes, in this transfer market Chelsea bought a lot of players and of course Chelsea spent a lot of money to buy these players. However, the results of the match against Manchester City are proof that the purchases made by Chelsea in the transfer market this time have not produced maximum results. However, it is still too early to say that Chelsea have failed this season, because this is only their first match, perhaps Chelsea's new players have not adapted well. Maybe because of that, Chelsea suffered defeat in this match. So to find out Chelsea's actual performance, we have to look at the matches that Chelsea will play in the next few weeks. Because of course in the next few weeks the new Chelsea players will have adapted quite well. So Chelsea should be able to show their best performance in the next few weeks.

However, if for example in the next few weeks Chelsea's performance does not change or even gets worse, I think Chelsea could be said to have a chance of failing again this season. Maybe if Chelsea performs badly again in this match, there is a big possibility that Enzo Maresca will be released by Chelsea again. The reason is, remembering what Chelsea has done in the last few seasons, they always fire their coaches if they fail to bring Chelsea success in one season. But hopefully Chelsea won't do that to Enzo Maresca, because if Chelsea continues to do that (dismissal) I'm sure Chelsea won't experience good development. Because what is certain is that if Chelsea continues to do this, then every season Chelsea will continue to adapt to new players and also new coaches.

But in conclusion, let's just see Chelsea's performance in the upcoming match. If Chelsea's performance is good, it means Enzo's prospects are very good. However, if for example Chelsea's performance in the next few weeks is poor, it means that Enzo's prospects are clearly not good.

Arsenal started the season with a 2-0 win in their Premier League opener against Wolves. It's certainly a good start for Arsenal. Arsenal have a lot to achieve this season as they need to maintain consistency in their performances. Arsenal has just started the season and there are many big challenges ahead of them. Hope Arsenal can face all the challenges well. As the season has just started, it cannot be said that which team is the rival of which team, but considering the overall performance and considering the team, Manchester City and Arsenal will have a tough competition this season. Arsenal have had a tough competition with Manchester City in the last two seasons but they lost in the end. Hopefully nothing like that will happen this season and Arsenal will win the Premier League title this season.
This season is a priority for Arsenal to be able to win the premier league title. The first victory is the capital for The Gunners in starting their campaign this season and if you look at the composition of the players, it seems they will be able to realize their dreams this season.

Arsenal and Manchester City will still be strong candidates this season, both teams in the last two seasons have shown quite good competition. However, I have a feeling that The Gunners will be able to succeed this season.

We have just few minutes to the end of the game, the score remains 1-1 because Jamie Vardy leveled the score for Leicester City in the 57th minutes of the match and they maintain their defensive quality to avoid more goals in the game because Tottenham is completely dominating the game and might win in the final minutes if they are lucky.

I was doubting Leicester City’s quality because they change coach and some of their players left them after they won the Championship under the management of Vincent Kompany, now I will not underrate them and they are out of my relegation team plan because with the number of players they have lost is much, and yet, they are playing very well.
The match played in King Power Stadium, but Leicester City was struggle to beat Tottenham while Tottenham itself isn't a strong team.

It was a huge lose when Leicester City relegated to Championship since their players choose to move to other teams like Maddison, Barnes, Castagne, Tielemans, Pérez etc. Now Leicester City need to re-build their teams back, which I think really hard since they're lack of funds.
I think they are not too bad even though they are currently under financial pressure that is not so good with many good players leaving last season, in fact they were still able to hold Spurs with such terrible pressure, Spurs started in the first half which made Leicester a little difficult to block them, Spurs are a good club in the EPL so I think this is a good start for them to be able to get one point at home, and how could it not be when the other promoted teams lost and Leicester managed to hold the visiting team Spurs to a draw, Spurs who currently have many good players and they also have a coach who is technically quite brilliant and they should have been able to win this match but in reality failed. I think Leicester still have Vardy in their attack, it looks very good for their team, how can he not be a good player and also experienced in the EPL and I think there is nothing to worry about for Leicester if he is still playing and surely he will try his best for the club he loves all this time, of course Leicester is not a club that buys but they create good players and I think this project is on the way to make their finances better and I hope they stay in the EPL for next season even though they don't have enough good players, but I think they will manage to get a place in the wild relegation zone this season.

True, Leicester's additions have been underwhelming, mostly in the form of loans, free signings, or new players costing £15m or less, and most of Cooper's favored players are those who played in last season's Championship-winning campaign. In addition to their players choosing to move to other teams, Leicester City also suffered a big shock with the injury of striker Patson Daka. But their performance overcame their problems, and hosts Leicester could have even won if they had capitalized on some dangerous chances created in the closing stages.

All in all, Leicester City's performance in this match was not bad. I say this because Leicester City's target in this match was to draw the match. Leicester City players do not try to attack too much. They wanted to get 1 point from this match. And they succeeded.

Leicester City had only 29% of the ball possession in the entire match. Leicester City players managed to make a total of 7 shots. Interestingly, Leicester City had only one shot in the first half. Leicester City played badly defensively in this match. On the other hand, Tottenham's players dominated the match and attacked a lot. A total of 7 on target shots were made by Tottenham players. But still could not score more than one goal. In the first match we expected to see Tottenham win but the match ended in a 1-1 draw.

Arsenal started the season on a high note winning their first game with a 2nil victory over Wolverhampton. I wouldn’t expect anything less from a team that almost won the league last season. Liverpool and Arsenal are the only clubs in the EPL that can be said to be competing fiercely with Manchester City for the league title. The other big names Chelsea and Manchester United are on a building project for the future. I cannot bet on Arsenal to win the league because even if they are topping the league on the last match day, they might still not win the trophy. It will be nice for Arsenal to have something to show for their efforts this season, the fans deserve it.

Arsenal have had a really good start to their first win of the season, they have certainly started brilliantly. Yes, last season Liverpool and Arsenal have a lot of competition between these two teams, moreover, Manchester City did not grow in competition between the two teams. These two teams are Liverpool and Arsenal as they were in the best form last season and this season I think they will play great in EPL to win the title. However, we can hope that Manchester United and Chelsea are strong enough teams, since it is the beginning of the season, we cannot predict so well. However, each team has started the Premier League quite well in the early part of the season so we can expect each team to put up an exciting performance in the competition.

Well, accepting to share points with the newly promoted team Leicester in the opening match, Tottenham with only 1 point had to be satisfied with 12th place on the rankings. It was a disappointing night for Tottenham. They played brilliantly in the first half, controlling the game but wasting chances. The second half was no different. Tottenham spent £65m to sign Dominic Solanke, but the expensive striker failed to score against Leicester City. Meanwhile, Tottenham's number one attacking star Son Heung Min played quite disappointingly. He could not bring any good chances for his team. Only goalkeeper Vicario had an excellent day. He blocked many shots from his opponents. Only then could Tottenham draw 1-1 with Leicester. Spurs played like chickens with tied hair, even the fierce attack of last season disappeared right on the first day of the match.

I was doubting Leicester City’s quality because they change coach and some of their players left them after they won the Championship under the management of Vincent Kompany, now I will not underrate them and they are out of my relegation team plan because with the number of players they have lost is much, and yet, they are playing very well.

With the new Chelsea board and management, I feel like I can not bet on Chelsea to win and lose at the same time. Chelsea is likely to struggle in many games this season, and I can’t afford to bet on them losing. Every team seems to be chasing a better version of Guardiola, but Chelsea doesn’t measure up mentally or tactically. I didn’t see any new patterns of play today in fact, the style they played today was disappointing and made little sense.
Todd Boehly doesn’t look like he knows what he is doing. Most of the problems the club is facing could have been avoided if Todd Boehly allowed the managers to sign the players they wanted. I sincerely miss the Roman Abramovich - Chelsea era where mediocrity was never tolerated. Chelsea is not a club known for its patience, it’s in their DNA to win…at least it used to be. I’m impressed with how well Chelsea fans are taking the loss to Manchester City, it’s as if they have ruled out the possibility of ever winning this Pep’s side in the EPL.
The American business approach seems to be what they’ve brought to Chelsea—completely overhauling the staff from the previous management and bringing in an entirely new team. Manchester United is still struggling with a similar approach, despite significant spending. The idea of delaying the transition is to help preserve and carry forward the winning culture of the club into the new era. Now, with rumors that Enzo is considering offloading Chilwell—the last major purchase from the Abramovich era—one has to wonder, is that really the right move?
Eh…..that won’t work. If Todd Boehly thinks he can run English football like it is soccer then he is dead wrong. There is a reason why American football (soccer) is not as popular as the EPL, La Liga, Ligue 1, Bundesliga e.t.c. If I am being honest, it was not until Messi signed to Inter Miami that I decided to have a look at the American League.

Todd Boehlybought one of the biggest clubs in England, he should recognize that the club was built on some particular principles and has a DNA. An average Chelsea fan understand the Chelsea’s way of doing business more than Todd Boehly. I think the best thing he scam do for the club is to stay out of the way and allow the manager to do the work.

Manchester City have had another strong start to the pre-season and are looking to perform even better in the new season, but Haaland is likely to set another new record at the moment. Because Haaland has a goal contribution in almost every match, he has a goal contribution early in this match. The Chelsea team subsequently performed much better after halftime, and had 10 shots on goal, compared to 11 by Manchester City.

Here, Manchester City succeeded in two attacks, but the Chelsea team did not succeed, and the Chelsea team had to lose 0-2 in the last minute. However, the Manchester City team has more experienced strikers than the Chelsea team because they were able to finish the ball at the last moment, but even though the Chelsea team players had the opportunity, they missed the opportunity and failed at the last moment.

Indeed, Manchester City played well, the Manchester City players in that match looked enthusiastic and had no hesitation in taking a surprise shot at Chelsea's goal and looked very confident which ultimately produced good results, being able to score 2 goals against Chelsea.

Haaland has always performed well, he certainly has great potential to score lots of goals in the EPL this season and I also predict that Haaland will have great potential to become top scorer this season as long as his friends always pass the ball well to Haaland.

but it's a shame that the Chelsea players couldn't take advantage of the opportunity they had to score a goal against Manchester City. but in my opinion it is natural because of course Manchester City, in my opinion, is far from Chelsea's strength, but I also see that Chelsea has played optimally and well and a score of 0-2 is certainly not too embarrassing. Yes, it seems like Manchester City is still as strong as last season and of course Manchester City wants to win another trophy this season.

I agree with you that it is not always possible to select a favorite team based on the results of the previous match or the last match. But I don't think Tottenham will lose points against Leicester. I think the chances of the match being a draw are low.
Before the match started, I was also confident that Tottenham would win the match. Maybe I underestimated Leicester City in the match. Leicester City's performance was not so good in the first half of the match, Tottenham dominated the match, but the second half was just different. Tottenham couldn’t get a full point in the match, they were able to get just 1 point in the match. Leicester played well in the second half. Maybe we shouldn’t underestimate any club that has just been promoted to the Premier League.

The result of the game is just surprising because most people never expect a draw in the match, since we all know Tottenham not to be a strong team, and they will also want to get their full points in their first match, but the point was shared.

In the end, although Leicester is a promoted club but indeed the performance in the EPL when talking about past statistics (except for the previous 2 seasons) is still very good for them so it is wrong if we doubt Leicester too much like.
It is undeniable that the assumption that Leicester is weaker than Tottenham when the match has not started but playing at home seems to provide its own strength for them.

Although they lost in terms of play when talking about statistics but it cannot be denied that their defense is quite solid despite being pounded by Tottenham in today's match.
1 Point is actually a little disadvantageous for Tottenham but indeed in this case at least they can take 1 point rather than nothing but what I regret is my bet that must be lost in this match.

Even if we know that Chelsea performance sometimes is not encouraging but this there match against Manchester City I don't think is right for us to judge them because we had already know that Manchester City performance is more higher than Chelsea and besides even if Manchester City win the match but we annot also forget that Chelsea tried there best, so I think the only time we should judge or have a doubt about Chelsea performance is only when they are not able to win there next match against wolves that's when we can say that they have a weak team because already wolves is not that good on this season so they shouldn't be a too much problem for Chelsea.
We really shouldn't draw conclusions too quickly just based on the initial match. We have to be patient and wait for more matches to be played by them. And we must also remember that their new coach must adapt first. Because the season has just started and losing to Man City is quite natural. Maybe you are right, we might have to first see the results of the next match, namely next week when Chelsea face Wolves. Chelsea have indeed tried as best as they can and well we shouldn't have too high hopes for this squad which is full of young players. because young players sometimes need to adapt longer than experienced players.

Concluding based on the first match performance is never the right to do and like I said I will not blame Chelsea for losing the match because there new coach has not really identify the best way for them so perhaps after losing that match he would be able to understand the things that should be done in other to be getting the wining they deserve, however if i may ask what do you think about the Manchester City team this season, do you believe that they would be as good as they are last season?, because watching there match against Chelsea nothing has really change about them and instead they have even improve a lot and I believe they would be very consistent on this season because they would also like to retain the trophy again.
The Manchester city performance has never adapt down yet they started from where they stop last season, because if look at their performances in yesterday match against Chelsea there is nothing bad there they still in good form, that means if they maintain their consistency they might cook something this season.

But concerned the Chelsea performance is like the way they end the last season that’s how they come continuethis season again, because i didn’t not see any improvement with them and even thought their new coach has never identified the best way for them I think the players have to team up to make their performances to become better.
