Liverpool managed to bring home 3 points after defeating Crystal Palace through a single goal from Diogo Jota in the 9th minute, the impressive performance that continued to be displayed by their players made them dominate the top of the standings until the October international break ended. This victory was very important for Liverpool even though it was not achieved easily, several opportunities obtained by Crystal Palace made Alisson Becker have to work hard to save his goal from conceding. Alisson had to be withdrawn in the 79th minute due to injury and was replaced by 23-year-old goalkeeper Vitezslav Jaros.

Arne Slot needs to sharpen Liverpool front line to be more productive like in the previous match, the sharpness of the front line can give them credit to continue to be at the top of the standings.

Liverpool opened the seventh week match with a win and Crystal Palace still haven't been able to get a single win so far, maybe it's true as you said the current Crystal Palace coach is under great pressure.

This match was fierce and indeed this match was dominated by Liverpool and that's very natural because Liverpool didn't want to waste the opportunity to continue to get three points in order to stay solid in first place in the EPL standings.

In this match it was very clear that Liverpool were ambitious to score a quick goal in order to control the course of the match and Jota managed to bring Liverpool ahead in the 9th minute, the goal started from a through ball from Tsimikas to Gakpo on the left side, Gakpo then sent a beautiful pass in front of the goal and Jota who perfectly finished it well. The goal was the only goal because there were no additional goals until the end of the second half.

Although both teams were trying to score goals, Liverpool still wanted to score goals by dominating possession while Palace tried to build counterattacks, but Van Dijk and Konate's defense was too tough to penetrate. With this result, Slot managed to bring Liverpool to remain firmly at the top of the EPL standings with 18 points, while Crystal Palace is in 18th position with three points without a single win.

I also feel that Liverpool were lucky enough to win that game. They still dominated the game in the second half, but what was different was that they were no longer able to create as many opportunities as in the first half. On the other hand, Crystal Palace had more chances than in the first half, but they failed to convert it into goals because Liverpool defended pretty well and Alisson played quite impressively.

It was a less than convincing victory, but still, the 3 points obtained further secured their position at the top (for this week at least).

I purposely pick this two teams because their are my concern for today premier league, the top three are playing today which I expect reshuffle but unfortunately Liverpool have escaped it by winning their matches against Crystal Palace, Liverpool really suffered crystal palace as if they where playing home games by dominating ball possession, I applause for Crystal Palace for holding Liverpool without adding any goal apart from the first goal to the end of the game. Arsenal and Manchester City are hosting their opponents which I expect change in their position, Manchester City have a goal difference away from arsenal which I expect changes because many goals will showcase but let see how the end will look like.

The only goal in the 9th minute for Liverpool saw Liverpool win at Crystal Palace with far more possession despite Liverpool wasting more chances in the game. Liverpool are now still at the top of the table due to this win and Manchester City and Arsenal must also fight to win today's game which is being played at their respective home grounds so that they are not left too far behind Liverpool or overtaken by the other two teams who are currently below them, namely Chelsea and Aston Villa who are also quite close in points to Manchester City and Arsenal.

Yes from the start Liverpool played very excited and scored in 9 minutes of the game. Although Liverpool attacked to score more goals but couldn't succeed instead Crystal Palace made a stop and they also played well. However, in the first half and the second half, I tried hard to counter Liverpool but it was not possible, but the team had to lose despite many attacks. However due to Liverpool's strong performance, today's game is under a great win and they are at the top of the points table with 18 points.

Liverpool was very lucky today to get all three points in this match because if it wasn't for luck, the match would have ended in a draw but Eberechi Eze couldn't make that happen when he had the opportunity. Liverpool stays on the first position on the table with 4 points ahead of City who is yet to play their own match in the few minutes with Fulham. Topping the table currently is not the big deal but it will become a big deal when the season is close to an end.

Eberechi Eze needs to do better in important games knowing he is now the most important player for Crystal Palace. He cannot keep having chances and then taking those chances very unseriously because those chances may not come again. He had the best opportunity to get the game leveled for crystal palace today but because of his careless attitude towards playing football it cost them the opportunity. Crystal Palace coach made a mistake not starting Mateta, because he is good holding player who uses his strength really well, and gives other players a chance to play.

Slot is having the best start to his premier league career. Liverpool have done the job for this week, they will now wait to see how Arsenal and Manchester City do in their own game.

A late faulty strike from Eberechi Eze denied Crystal palace an equalizer against Liverpool. Liverpool gave away lots of chances carelessly and I would've been very happy if they were punished for it. Crystal Palace was better in the second half but Liverpool defended their only goal with all their might.

Virgil was outstanding in today's match, he deserved the man of the match. Congratulations to Liverpool on their three points cushion and retaining the top position on the table.

Liverpool controlled the match but they did not score a second goal after creating many opportunities. They let Crystal Palace having some chances to make dangerous shots but Becker saved these shots very well. Liverpool actually played an unsafe match and if their attacking players can score only one more goal, the match will be more easier for them.

Wasting many opportunities to finalize the match, is very risky as the opponent can sudden score an equalizer and if it comes at very late minute, Liverpool will lose 2 points. Fortunately it did not happen in this match but Liverpool must analyze this match and wasted opportunities in particular, to improve themselves.

A early goal from Liverpool that was what separated this game till now,  Crystal Palace did better in the offense this second half but haven't been able to get the equalizer while Liverpool are still much possessing the game. Those who place bet on Liverpool winning are definitely smiling now, this was not an easy game for Liverpool men. Sadly Crystal Palace are still searching for their first win after game 7 this season, the manager may be in pressure now.

I quite agree with you regarding the title winner, many teams have showed the interest in competing for the title which I believe the top four this time around will show some new faces towards the end of the season. Don't just give up on arsenal because check from last two seasons they are always improving which I expected them to make it to the top this time around, so don't just give up on them, Chelsea that you are have hope for is good but just don't put much hope to avoid disappointment. Manchester United are really battling but I believe in them that by next season they should have found their mistake, so I will expect them to be at top next season.

The tight competition for the title this season will probably still be the same as in the previous season, namely that it will be contested by Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool. I'm not sure about Chelsea. But if Chelsea continues to show good performance. So it could be that Chelsea also makes a surprising entry into the race for the title. So let's just see until the middle of the season. whether these teams will maintain their narrow points difference or not. Currently, Chelsea has 13 points and is only 1 point different from Arsenal and Liverpool. Well, it's unexpected to see Chelsea start this season well.

The ongoing match between Liverpool and Crystal Palace looks like it will end with the result that most people expect, namely Liverpool will win the match. And after this Arsenal's match against Southampton will also be held and of course Arsenal will be the favourite. Likewise, in the Manchester City vs Fullham match, it is very clear that Manchester City will be the favourite.

You may be right is Liverpool is able to hold the their one goal lead till full time. Arsenal will win Southampton for sure and Manchester City will also win Fulham after a serious battle. It was only the Liverpool match I was expecting a draw because Liverpool is playing away and Crystal Palace might want to be a little stubborn to them. Liverpool did well to have been on the lead from first half although there is serious tension on them at the moment. If they try and hold the game, then their position at the top would have been saved at least for now. I did not actually expect Liverpool to top the league at any point this season.

With the Odd they gave Liverpool anybody who is use to them will no that they would win the match because I have seen several time when they were given the same odd and they always win but whenever they are given 2.0 or more is not always easy for them to win, fortunately for them they are playing based on the odd they have because they are wining Cristal palace 1:0 but I hope Liverpool will still be able to maintain the goal because Cristal palace is not ready to give up yet. Arsenal also have a wining odd against Southampton and i believe they would win them because Southampton has lost so many matches on this premier League, so Arsenal will also win like others have also won them.

Yeah today matches will be very interesting, because almost all the teams that have match today are strong especially these teams you mentioned earlier they will make sure that they win against their opponents: Arsenal, Manchester City, have less than 1 hours for their match to start, but Liverpool against crystal palace is almost come to an end just few minutes for the match to finish and from the results given Liverpool is leading the match by 1-0 goal, which there still remain in the table.

But will never know what the remaining teams can come up with, because for the Arsenal I’m having so much hope for them that they will find the match very easy to win, since according to some people’s that their opponents are not that strong.

It a pretty easy week for the big teams and if things go well it will be easy for bettors as well. No big team will want to drop points to an easy opponent because they are all looking to either take the top spot or keep trailing who is the top until they eventually drop points. Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool should be able to win today and tomorrow Chelsea also should be able to win at Stamford Bridge although Nottingham forest seem to be more challenging and now have an improved defense but it shouldn’t be a problem to in form Chelsea attackers who are looking very sharp and dangerous.

Sometimes football doesn’t go as predicted but either way it will be an interesting week for bettors and supporters.

With Chelsea and Liverpool joining the top 4 battle and title challenge i think it will be more interesting especially if things keep on going as they are now. The point difference between the top 5 is not much and it will be interesting to see them keep trailing each other and battling like this till the end. This season no one can come out and say that Manchester City will win the league again and this is how the premier league is supposed to be.

In the first half Crystal Palace played like a team that have no idea of what they were doing and Liverpool was also slow to me, they couldn't get those little opportunities count, I was expecting a very strong play from the home team but it seems they lost that spark of brilliance in today's game, at least make it difficult for Liverpool to get a goal in the first half but it never happened. Palace need to keep pushing and their attack need to convert at least one chance and you'd see Liverpool reacting, but the second half is still going to have a little bit of action, the game is still open for Palace to equalize the game.

The Liverpool match might seem easy but from the way the match is going, Liverpool is not finding it easy. They might have been enjoying their first half lead but that was almost changed by Saar who just had a wonderful chance that would have levelled the goals if not that the keeper was so smart to stop the ball. I have not seen much attempts on goals or spectacular plays from Liverpool, they were just lucky to have scored first. If Liverpool plays the second half with this same approach, I will not rule out the possibility of a draw.
