I'm curious about what Arsenal will do after sending Aubameyang. I guess that they are not planning to fill his place with another centre-forward for now. But if I were in their place, I would have signed a striker before the end of the transfer window. Because they have only Lacazette and Nketiah as strikers right now. And Lacazette is having a terrible season. He scored only three goals in sixteen games. This is a big problem for the team and their not taking an action about this can cause them to be in a problematic condition on the remaining weeks of the league.
Mikel Arteta and Edu are clueless, just want to get rid of this guy without getting anything, no signing of replacement.
I'm looking at all the players Arsenal let go this window, how are they supposed to compete? They've got like 7 total defenders. Expecting them to drop off heavily from where they are. The previous months have ultimately proven there is a clear reliance on Saka and fellow academy product Emile Smith Rowe to produce the goods going forward. Because in the centre-forward role, Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah have not been scoring enough despite plenty of minutes on the pitch. With both forwards less than six months away from their respective contracts expiring. It is a very big risk fighting the top 4 spot without a new striker.

I see EPL became the league the rich people chose to spend their money investing in sport. The amount spent from these three big leagues has a considerable difference.

What Newcastle's owners did was like a gamble they spent a lot of money on this transfer to get out of relegation which it's a question of whether their coaches have the ability to build chemestry on their new players so that the target to escape from regelation can be achieved.

Newcastle has spent a lot of money, and this money has been spent only to get out of the relegation zone. And I believe they can do it. Because now they are in 18th place in the table. If they are able to win two matches, they will be able to rise two steps above the points table. Norwich City are at risk at the moment. Maybe next season we won't see Norwich in the Premier League.

Although they have spent a lot money but it gives them no guarantee to get a better performance to make them out from the relegation zone. It will be a hard challenge as well as hard responsibility for the coach and the new players to make them stay in Premier League by the end of the season. The bottom teams in the standing at the moment is as follow:

17. Norwich 22 16 points
18. Newcastle 21 15 points
19. Watford 20 14 points
20. Burnley 18 12 points

Norwich are indeed at the risk because the other 3 teams has more matches in hand. If the other teams can maximize all the un-played matches, then Norwich will be in the bottom. However, Norwich has better result compared to the other teams in the last few matches. Everton, Brentford and Leeds who are above these 4 bottom teams can be in a risk as well if they cant play consistently till the end of the season.

My prediction about the Liverpool - Leicester game is that Liverpool can destroy their opponent home. I don't think that Leicester have much chance in Anfield whether Salah and Mane will be able to play or not. Liverpool would have the full control of the game first of all. Leicester might have a few chances by counter-attacks maybe. But I think that Liverpool would still get a decent win by applying a big pressure on them. Liverpool need to continue to win if they want to maintain their chance for the lead.
Yes I agree with you, against Leicester, Liverpool will be in control of the game.
Judging from the last few meetings between Liverpool vs Leicester, Leicester can always trouble Liverpool. They must be careful to be able to anticipate the strategy of Brendan Rodger. Yes Leicester itself cannot be underestimated, they always surprise the big teams they face, like Liverpool.

The most unpredictable team this season is Leicester. Although their position is number 10. But this team has the ability to get any strong team in trouble. Leicester won the home match against Liverpool, scored 4 goals against Manchester United and beat United 4-2. Despite losing to Manchester City, Leicester managed to score 3 goals. So there is no reason to think that Liverpool will win this match easily. Even if it is Leicester's away match, it will not be easy for Liverpool to win.

What do you guys think of the transfer market?

English clubs were the ones that spent the most in this winter market:
1. England, 347.4 MILLION
2. Italy, 174.8 MILLION
3. Spain, 75.3 MILLION

Newcastle topped the list of biggest spenders with 102 million. Everton spent almost 50 million, Liverpool spent 45 million, Aston Villa spent 30 million, Tottenham 29 million and Watford paid 24 million.

Well, I'll still be curious how Christian Eriksen plays in the EPL which has tough gameplay I think. Because, as far as I know even the teams in Serie A that have less harsh gameplay have strict rules regarding Eriksen's case, so I'm worried about Eriksen but hopefully now Eriksen really has better health than before. Yes indeed, I also knew before that Eriksen played for Tottenham and it looked fine and also, he is not yet 30 years old, Eriksen should still be fine, but we will not know later and hopefully Eriksen's decision to return to play is not wrong choice.

Arsenal can continue to do we without Aubameyang. If you ask me to analyse I will tell you that Aubameyang has not done something so different that nobody again can do in Arsenal. Both Aubameyang and lacazeth did not perform to the extent i expected them to perform.
I remember the time of Sanchez. He was the number one player and the pilot of the team.
If Aubameyang leave, Saka, Pepe and Lacazeth with others can still deliver.

Aubameyang may leave Arsenal  Arsenal has other strikers besides him. Also, his performance was not very good this season. They might even consider themselves Profitable if they sent it for a certain transfer fee. I can't see the old strong Abumeyang. Maybe he will play matches that can show his old strength in La Liga.

Newcastle has spent over 100 million on winter transfers. This means that they definitely want to be in the Premier League next season.
That's definitely quite a large sum of money, and Newcastle could only dream of spending this much on players last season and some couple of seasons ago as well, but now they have quite a lot of money and can afford to spend that much and even more; they are really desperate to escape relegation, and this players they signed is all in a bid for them to avoid being relegated. It's really going to be difficult, but I think they can achieve that, the new management are really desperate, they want to spend a lot of money to see if Newcastle can be an elite club in some years time and the best way to do that is by acquiring top talents and they can only allure such players by staying in the premier league.
Although Newcastle United have spent over 100 million not any expectation player on window transfer because only Kieran Trippier as good transfer I think, he has a lot of experience with bigger club and left of Newcastle United transfer not really worth, but lest see next match if Newcastle United can exist on primer league will give good chance for getting new player. Right now Newcastle United on relegation zone with 15 points and played 15 games, left 13 games later what can do by Newcastle United still have new hope keep stay on primer league or have relegation to championship next season.

Newcastle United's transfers accelerated. After the transfers of Dan Burn, Bruno, Matt Targett, the team roster became even stronger. I have no doubt that Newcastle will achieve successful results with this squad. They have paid fees that seem high for now, but they will make the real big transfers during the summer transfer season. They look like a team that wants to stay in the League this year. Next year, they will want to establish a championship squad.

Arsenal are in any case working on a good series. They have been able to perform really hard under her for a few years but the trainer seems to have it all a bit better now. A team like Arsenal should also finish in the top 6 in England. Even though this competition is getting stronger and stronger across the board. The goal for Arsenal to reach the Champions League would be very nice, I think, but also very difficult. Arsenal need success again.

I actually agree with the people who think that Liverpool can still do well without Mane and Salah in the Leicester game ahead of them in the PL. Because we watched Liverpool play like this against Arsenal in the EFL Cup rematch. And we saw how great they dominated the game and won it. So, I think that Liverpool's current attacking line is still quite solid and they can defeat Leicester in Anfield. Maybe it might be a more difficult win but they can. Because I really don't like Leicester's defense as I see it as quite weak.
Bet only 10% for Leicester which means they have a mission impossible on Anfield. but in the last meet, Leicester has a winning by Ademola's goal and in Carabao event, Leicester almost won the match if in the case Minamino didn't create a goal in injury time and winning 5-4 in pinalty shoot. In the next 2 weeks, even though Liverpool has a favorite, Leicester possibly will make a surprise to draw or win with a tight different goal.

I really think that Liverpool should win this match and beat Leicester City. Leicester city has got their work cut out here. They would have to really perform well to win against Liverpool. Leicester City did beat Liverpool in the last match they played against each other and I think Liverpool will be really eager to get the revenge. And will also be keen to hold onto their winning streak.
Liverpool have been in a good form recently and want to continue it but Leicester are always giving them headache and I'm sure the reds knows that they are a problem.
But I still believe Liverpool will come out winning this one especially now that they don't want to loose point at all.

I hope Eddie Howe will escape Newcastle from relegation with the few new signings, I think once these new players are well integrated into the team, they will form a formidable team

Well, this is the issue. Newcastle this January is pure panic-buying. They were sinking towards relegation, but now they've brought in a lot of new players. It can be very difficult to integrate a lot of new players into a struggling team in mid-season. Even if it takes a month to get them into a cohesive team, that's a month that Newcastle don't have. I do still think it's likely that they'll get relegated.
Howe is in a tricky situation. He was probably told by the owner that it's his first job to get them out of relegation or he will be out. Still good for him since their chances are not that slim if we're going to look at the table. They are just one point behind Norwich with a game in hand too. Winning half of the remaining games will most likely let them stay in the PL.

Newcastle has spent over 100 million on winter transfers. This means that they definitely want to be in the Premier League next season. They are now in the relegation zone. Newcastle are 18th team in the points table.
Despite spending a lot of money, their performance depends on how well the players can adapt to the team. They have hired Chris Wood for 30 million to strengthen the forward. The addition of Kieran Trippier and Matt Targett will strengthen their defense. And Brazilian player Bruno Guimaraes will strengthen their midfield. Coach Eddie Howe may well be able to organize the team well.

It turns out that Newcastle spent more on transfers than all of La Liga  Grin As for their prospects, I am sure that they will easily guarantee themselves a place in the EPL for next season - to leave the relegation zones they do not need to score so many points (because opponents rarely score points), so it seems to me that they will quickly leave it.

I believe in Liverpool to win this one.
I bet on LFC too in this game, my prediction is they could score 3 goals and maybe Leicester a goal so I also bet on BTTS. Their last defeat was quite surprising but after the defeat LFC get a positive result against their opponents won and draw means they returned consistent even after Mane and Salah missed out because AFCON they still performed well.
I am not sure if it would be wise to wager on BTTS for Liverpool - Leicester game. I mean Liverpool is good at defending just 19 goals in 22 games and even though Vardy is an amazing striker, I am not sure if he would be enough to beat Liverpool's defence. Not saying that it would be a horrible bet or anything like that, if you want to wager on that then you should wager on that, everyone has their own money and only you can decide what should be done with that money.

I just wanted to say that I wouldn't wager that personally. I am going to wager LFC to win, and I know that odds are very low for that game right now but it is at least something I wouldn't mind wagering on.

Tottenham's next match is against Southampton in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Tottenham finally got their first loss in the Premier League with Conte last week which was against Chelsea. But I still think that this won't affect them too much badly and they will move on from where they left. Southampton are one of the unpredictable teams now. They drew with Manchester City last which is good enough to explain this situation. Tottenham should play aware against them to be able to win. And I think that they will make it.

The intention of wanting to stay in EPL next season and actually making it happen, is actually two different thing and they really do need to keep winning atleast two of their next 5 fixtures on average to stay above the relegation zone. Their next game against Everton on 8th will be a crucial game for them to get 3 points because Everton is in a pretty bad shape right now

Everton havent win in the last 5 games and only bagged two wins out of their last 15 EPL games. It shouldnt be hard for Newcastle to win in a home game
