- 2018-2019 Sixth place
- 2019-2020 Third place
- 2020-2021 Second place
You may hate Ole but you could give at least give him credit for that. He's probably done better than Mou.
We shouldn't be expecting too much from Manchester United in this season I believe. Their performances on last weeks were promising maybe but they are still an unpredictable team that's the reality. They would be grateful even if they finish the season at the fourth position in the worst case. Because their job will be really difficult in even making this happen. There are many rivals for them to achieve the top four. Arsenal, Tottenham, West Ham... These teams wouldn't forgive their mistakes easily.
Manchester United started the season in a bad form. But although, they have tried in securing the 4th place on the standings. But, what is required from them now is to play their next matches more carefully and avoid losing points. In order for them to maintain their present position. West Ham are a point behind them, any slight mistake might result to them dropping from the top 4. While, It won't be nice, if United probably ends this season outside the top 4. Arsenal are hopeful they will return to the top four this season after being outside the top four for years,after Arsene Wenger left the team.And this season has been a season they marked to return back into the top four.

Ronaldo's return to Man Utd felt like a really good deal during the first few weeks but the story is quite different now. Although, I'd admit that he has had some "aha" moments since returning (see Atalanta in UCL) - but these on and off performances hasn't looked good for a player of his caliber. Can't say I blame him much considering most players in this man utd team hasn't been impressive as well.
Maybe they can be serious about it next season.

If we take the current condition of the standings into account, Manchester United will have to put up a really good fight to be able to qualify for the Champions League next season. And finishing in top four would also be an achievement for them also. Because they aren't in a solid shape yet and their general performance has been really poor for a long period of time. But of course, a team like Manchester United must always aim to win the Premier League title. Maybe they can be serious about it next season.
Qualifying for next season champions league looks more like a dream than reality for Manchester United right now considering how the EPL table is shaped right now. Manchester United are in 4th position and just 2 points ahead of Tottenham who are currently in 7th position and have played 2 games fewer than Manchester, if they should win those 2 games they’d be 4 points ahead of Manchester United. So if United really wants to stay in the 4 position they need to work and fight for it. Maybe they can be serious about it next season.

I think united can stay ahead of the rest, but those two seem to be on a different level. We could still win a match. Well actually if United win the UCL then they would get to group stage next season as well. The team is not really in a bad shape right now, I've seen worst so this is much better however they are not going to win against a top team if they keep on playing like. Feeling confident that they might make up for it on the next game especially if it is just an away game against Burnlet that sits at the bottom right now

Yes, the problem at Manchester United does seem to be how to fit all these individuals together to become a great team. If you have the 11 best players in the world and put them together, chances are you won't make the best team in the world. The problem at Man U is how to make sure they create a solid, cohesive unit, and that there are no weaknesses as a team. Individual weaknesses are less of a concern, as they can be covered by other players' strengths.
I think right now Manchester United and PSG have the same problems.
They both seem to have some of the best players football has ever produced in their team, players who can make incredible and mesmerizing plays which even leaves the haters speechless, players who can do almost anything that can be done with football, and yet the results don't look so mesmerizing.

If I look at Manchester United I focus more on the heart of their defence. In some games their defense always makes unnecessary blunders, and that must be corrected. Manchester United need to be grateful because they have a goalkeeper like David de Gea. I imagine if it wasn't for him in goal, Manchester United would have had some disappointing results.
I think it's much better to say it's difficult to predict the team that will finish in 4th position, cause it's more or less pretty certain that 1st to 3rd is going to be occupied by City, Liverpool and Chelsea, in no particular order yet, cause the season is still quite long, but 4th position is yet to be decided as quite a lot of teams are going to battle themselves for it down to the end which will make things more interesting and intriguing.
