Yeah right, I'd rather have Chelsea to win the league if United cant take the top spot lol ( well obviously its close to to impossible at this point ). Anyway EPL is not going to turn into Bundesliga atleast not for now because aside from City dominating the league for the last 4 years, the quality of the other teams are also increasing which is why its getting harder for most top team to stay on top nowadays

Its still the best league period and Its getting interesting with Newcastle pumping cash into their club next season

If Newcastle can't get out of the relegation zone, then this pumping of money will not affect the EPL in any way (at least next year)  Grin It will be funny if this really happens, but still I am sure that Newcastle will be able to avoid this scenario and starting next season will already successfully solve serious problems, and not the "interim" in the form of a return to the EPL.

well manchester united are very lucky for the next games, they will be playing against very weak teams so i think they will be guaranteed to get 6 or 9 points but that doesn't convince me that they managed to finish in 4th position
That will be a big enough hope for Ronaldo and his friends to be better prepared to make big steps. It takes a revival and makes every game like a final. The reason, is Manchester United has slightly improved performance, although not too significant. I really hope Manchester United will make good use of this situation. Weaker clubs have made thorough preparations and now is the time for Manchester United to be able to keep it away from West Ham, a thin point is quite dangerous for them.

It's very difficult and sad to see Man United's football game for a few years. I followed Ronaldo's debut at Man United if Scholes, Flecter, Vidic and Ferdinand still play, it was very different. The flow of the ball and their fighting power was fantastic. Today Man United look weak, even the flow of possession looks bad. Even today Man United lose to Man City for game.
Ronaldo is not maximal because he doesn't get the ball well, even I see he has to help defend. The connections between Man United's current players still don't look solid, so they often rush and make unnecessary mistakes.
It's not all responsibility of Ronaldo. He joined them since the summer and their issues are not new and not only exist in this season. Ronaldo came and brought more goals for Manchester United but he makes their defense ability down because he does not try to hunt for ball like other players.

So with Ronaldo in a team, you must provide him good passes, more balls and he might score goals for you. However, the disadvantage is you will have to allocate more tasks for other players to fight against counter attack of opponent. Ronaldo is useless in this task. His appearance probably bring conflicts and break down a whole team. However, if other players fail to play together, and connect with each other, it is not all belong to Ronaldo effect.

Coordination in the Man United match is indeed very weak, no matter how expensive and great a player can be, will not be able to win a match alone, it takes very good teamwork to be able to finish the match with a score that matches expectations but in fact we know, the passes given between players  just not so good.

however, CR7 must also be able to ensure that he is still worthy to pose such a threat, because so far his performance in my opinion is not at his best.

The difference point between the four to eight ranks was so narrow. Predicting from now on is very difficult, but I think Man United will fight for this place. The reason is UCL, they would be embarrassed if they couldn't get to UCL next season. Although many other teams are struggling I think Man United are the favourites. Rangnick is starting to change the philosophy of Man United players it seems they are performing better. Although there will still be a lot of games I'm sure they'll be there.
I beg to disagree that Manchester United are performing any better since the appointment of Ragnick, they are still struggling and have dropped points in games that they really should be winning very comfortably; though that's not to say they wouldn't compete for the fourth position, of course they will, but I'll not be tipping them to get it ahead of the others. Arsenal and Spurs also look pretty strong for that position, I feel it's between those three teams, West Ham aren't doing any badly, but I don't think they will be able to get in there ahead of these teams, it's really tight, and I'm sure it'll be that way till the end of the season.
Manchester hasn't made any significant improvement but it's obvious they are far better under Ragnick management compared to Ole's. Manchester has one of the best teams in the English premier league but the are lacking coordination and team work. They might be 4th on the table it's not a clear picture of improvement we all know they got there due to west Ham's mistake and I'm not seeing any possibility of united maintaining the fourth position or going higher with their current performance

I think they will maintain it as they have shown somewhat better consistency compared to their direct competitor and they also won their direct match against West Ham.West Ham has made mistakes even with weaker teams,Manchester also has made mistakes but I think they have the better quality players compared to West Ham to at least keep the 4th place. We have a lot of days off before Premier League action starts again at 8 February beside having one postponed match at 5 February so the teams will be at full capacity during the next fixtures.

Between the teams fighting for the top four who really need to strengthen its squad this January transfer window most. Manchester United, arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.united needs creative midfielders, arsenal need a striker and Tottenham need a right back and a central midfielder.
If I look at Manchester United I focus more on the heart of their defence. In some games their defense always makes unnecessary blunders, and that must be corrected. Manchester United need to be grateful because they have a goalkeeper like David de Gea. I imagine if it wasn't for him in goal, Manchester United would have had some disappointing results.
Manchester defense and midfield should get more attention from the management of Manchester now, not just the time of Rangnick, the fragility of their defense has been seen since OGS was still coaching Manchester at that time, the many miscommunications that occurred between players made their defense too easy for opponents to penetrate, besides it's maguire and even fred often makes silly mistakes in anticipating the opponent attack and in my opinion only varane might be worth defending as a defender by manchester right now

It's not just about UCL, but it's also important for MU to keep its star player, CR7. Because, CR7 has made a statement that he will not extend his contract with United if failed to enter the UCL next season. If this really happens, it will be a loss for United, both in terms of the quality of the players and also for their finances, because we know CR7 merchandise sales is still in demand in the market. however, CR7 must also be able to ensure that he is still worthy to pose such a threat, because so far his performance in my opinion is not at his best.

I am a non UK person who watches Premier League games. And since a few months now I even watch Italian League games. But it is the same for me supporting a local team and a foreign team,,, I support only the team and the players and coach and style. I am not a crazy fan hating others, I do not even know the birthday of my favorite players like Son!

I just like watching good football. But as a supporter, you also feel the "enjoyment" of your rivals not doing well. I do not think this is about where you are from. I believe in this thead 10% maximum of supporters are even from the same city as the club. I for sure never seen London,,, I do not even know where my club stadium is if you throw me in UK Smiley
In my case, I do not have rivals because I do not have teams that I support. I mean I love some players from city, love some from Liverpool, love some from united, so I can't just feel happy about one team being better because others are doing worse. So for me, it is all about watching good quality football.

I love watching premier league and la liga because if you ask me that is the two best leagues in the entire world and I do not think that we would ever get any better leagues for a while as well, they are just great. Watching Bayern is great too, I would love to see them lose championship just once to feel at ease to be fair Cheesy but watching them play is great, and watching PSG feels great too, but those are just one team, so I could be considered "fans" for them since other teams are not enjoyable.

Premier league is not like that, they have 10-12 teams that I love to watch, hell even Southampton, watford, leeds trio at the bottom is great to watch because 2 of them had crypto sponsorship and leeds had docuseries.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
I think it's much better to say it's difficult to predict the team that will finish in 4th position, cause it's more or less pretty certain that 1st to 3rd is going to be occupied by City, Liverpool and Chelsea, in no particular order yet, cause the season is still quite long, but 4th position is yet to be decided as quite a lot of teams are going to battle themselves for it down to the end which will make things more interesting and intriguing.

I know how Man United are the favorites for this place but the struggle will still be a fierce rival between Arsenal and Tottenham, Ronaldo's ambition is the UCL next season and there is a threat if he doesn't occupy the 4th EPL standings then Ronaldo will leave I know how he wants the UCL Playing again it's Rangnick who can determine from the philosophy he's changed, and at the moment Man United are still well within reach of his squad.
Sometimes with the season still long they need to be able to do better after spending a lot this season.

Burnley is now really close to signing Mislav Oršić from Dinamo. He was great for them in the last few years, he even got his first Croatian caps recently.
Dinamo will be happy to receive 7 mil euros for a player entering his 30's, Burnley will get a solid option on the wing.

Burnley are in a real relegation struggle though - I hoped that Oršić would leave to a better club.

That is the biggest advantage of being non-UK person who watches premier league games. I do not have a team to support, I do not even know the cities too well, I barely learned where some teams are from later in my life, so I care about none of that.

To me, the most important thing is to watch good players and good teams and seeing how awesome Chelsea is playing under Tuchel is a great feeling, I love watching them playing great and dominating games sometimes, they have a great motivation I suppose or discipline. Watching players like Ziyech really makes it fun to be a football fan, watching all kinds of players that play great performances out of nowhere. Like Watford sucks but Ben Foster is a great goalkeeper if you ask me, even at his age, so when you are non-UK then you end up finding good players in every single team to enjoy when watching the game.

It is really good to watch the Premier League even if you're not a fan of any team. The competition just makes people watch the league every week without missing the games of the big teams especially. Actually, nearly all of the games are quite enjoyable to watch. Because all of the Premier League teams have a good potential inside them. They all can play really delightful when they really want. This is the thing we all want to see in every league actually.
The Premier League is perhaps the most respected league in the world. Football teams are one of the best. Competition is high. We watch the matches that each team has a chance to win. It's really great football being played. Games are played at a pace that requires players to exert extra effort. Just as the NBA is for basketball, the Premier League is just as important for football. That's why, no matter where you watch from around the world, there are matches that you enjoy.

Right now English Premier League is the most competitive League of all in world football. No other leg even comes close to this. And all the teams playing in this League are really good and it seems like even a lo budget and low rent team also has the potential to beat a really good team. And this League is the most enjoyable League right now no doubt.

When we look at the last four seasons of the Premier League, we see that Manchester City became the champions for three times and Liverpool were the champions for only once. None of the remaining teams have been able to win the title. And this will be the case for this season too as it seems. Again, one of these teams will be the champions. But rather than seeing Manchester City, I would prefer seeing Liverpool reaching the title. I wouldn't like to see Manchester City turning into Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga. It'd make the league too boring.
Although City dominated enough but what they achieved almost everything done untill a few match only or the end of the competition, and City's dominance never diminished the quality of the matches in the EPL, they remained the most competitive league and the competition between the clubs is very tight, but because you mention you prefer Liverpool to be champions then I too, but I try to realistic it seems like it will not happen this season.
Manchester City is still not very strong in winning the EPL title so far, if you compare it with Bayern Munich's achievements in the Bundesliga it is still not worth it. So far Manchester City have only won 2 titles in a row, have not been able to achieve 3 in a row like Manchester United in the past. So, with his achievements so far for Manchester City I personally still see him as a competitive team and don't dominate the league too much every season, the competition in the EPL is definitely more competitive with a lot of big teams in it.

I don't think comparing City in EPL with Bayern in the German league is fair. Just look at those teams in Germany bro.

No one comes close to Bayern except Dortmund a bit.

But in EPL there are at least 6 teams who are capable of winning the league. I really don't get how you are comparing EPL and the German league. Yes, United won 3 titles in a row but back then EPL wasn't this much competitive. Yes EPL had more star players, but they didn't have well-rounded teams like now.
