Liverpool FC in second place, and the only red in England. Man City 9 points ahead. Of course liverpool is the better team and better chance to get closer to City. City might win the league however liverpool could give them more pressure. I'm willing to see liverpool making the big move. Otherwise Man City already is setting the standards and the rest follow.
The point is that Man City are unstoppable and show no signs of slowing down or starting to lose points. They are playing very solidly this year.
I think Liverpool were really the ones that would have the best conditions to face this Man City, but that doesn't seem to happen.
I'm a fan of liverpool, but rationally speaking, liverpool doesn't have a chance to beat city, the way things are going it's clear that city will be champions, that's because liverpool and chelsea won't be able to play all games without losing or draw while City have a greater chance of playing many games and only having a draw of one or 2 games
False.
Manchester city could still losing many points through the draw and losses. the unexpected draw and losses , to be clear.
southampton scored first and hold city draw is the prove , eventhough manchester city beat all the big six , if they lost or draw to a club like southampton or crystal palace , i cant see manchester city are the absolute premier league winner. the chance for the top 5 to get the 1st place always wide open.
in addition to what @Boristhecat said, there is the issue that chelsea and liverpool are inconsistent and can easily draw or lose the remaining games as I said, while city can take advantage of having 3 points in most of the remaining games, that's why I think City will be champions and that this scenario will not change
My top four predictions are Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham.
Why do you prefer Arsenal over Chelsea? I think Chelsea deserve more than Arsenal to stay in the top 4 until the end of the season. I disqualified Arsenal and chose Chelsea for the 4 teams that will qualify for the Champions League next season.
Although Chelsea are currently experiencing a decline in performance but I don't think they will let Arsenal easily take them out of the top 4 of the current standings. Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United still have a chance to secure 1 ticket to qualify for the Champions League next season, but that doesn't mean they can make Chelsea lose a ticket.
I also think that in the end the top 4 will be like this:
1 - City
2 - Liverpool
3 - Chelsea
4 - Arsenal or Manchester United (although I don't believe in Machester United)
