I understand that this optimism resurfaced when they could beat Tottenham in away game, but actually it's not only City that is unstable United are in a similarly positions which is unstable, the defeat to Crystal Palace at the Etihad wasn't what City expected but they are more favorited because having a coach who smarter in setting strategy then United coach.
