Liverpool is facing serious problems, the injury crisis has continued to haunt them this season. The biggest impact was felt by their backline, without Van Dijk, Joe Gomez, and Joel Matip, there would be very few defender players who could be played, and of course, this makes Liverpool's defense even worse.
Maybe Alison can't sleep for the night. He is now equaling Loris Karius's record of making two mistakes and scoring a goal. Seeing these two mistakes, it feels ridiculous for a goalkeeper of the Premier League class. If you see the error, it's only 3 minutes away. It was unexpected, at the start I chose the match to be won by Liverpool but everything changed and I was disappointed. With this victory, Manchester City extended their unbeaten streak to 14 match.

^ If Mou's strategy is to park the bus and rely on counter attacks (most likely).

Harry Kane is back from the injury and The Kane - Son duo is back on the field. There is a good chance that Tottenham might win even without having to rely on just counter attack

Meanwhile, Tuanzebe, who had just entered to replace Greenwood, instead committed a foul and a yellow card. Through this violation Everton made the third goal.  It seems they are difficult to get ahead of points from City who have fewer matches.

Blame it all on Tuanzebe, if it wasnt for that unnecessary foul then that last minute goal probably wouldnt have happen. That stupid mistake is going to tarnish his whole reputation. He was sent into the field as last minute replacement to stall some time and to defend but due to his challenge, Everton managed to score

Fun fact : out of only 6 'short' appearances on the field, he has commited two yellow cards already  Tongue

*It is very interesting to see the changes that always occurred in the Premier League standings this season...
the duo Manchester control the standings. quite surprised by the 4 goals made by Man City at  Liverpool home. Liverpool and Chelsea are still far below both. *the champion in this season is still not predictable
It is predictable! Manchester city is getting this one, the got humiliated at the start of the football reason and found time to sort out their defensive nightmares which is paying off though the striking force from their strikers sucks goals are coming in from other players and peps rotational football might also be the difference. Welcome to the premier league Smiley

Tonight, Leeds United will kick off soon against Crystal Palace; with Palace missing their key talisman in Wilfred Zaha; do they stand a chance at victory ? Time will tell

The English Premier League has overturned  Soucek redcard; in what is a good move and decision in favor of West Ham United.

~ but I’m hoping City will lose in the game against tottenham. I know that tottenham is not doing well and City is getting stronger, but it is not impossible for tottenham to defeat city
50% chance of a draw, 40% City, and 10% Spurs.

and if liverpool beat leicester then it will reduce this big difference in points that it has with City
There are still plenty of games to catch up. Just hope that Liverpool doesn't drop too many points in the remaining games and wish for the best Grin Man United is still above them.
Currently, Manchester City is in great form they can beat Tottenham at home now after beating Liverpool they are really in command of having a good lead for the title race, because right now they are clearly 5 points ahead of Manchester United with 1 match in hand.
Leicester vs Liverpool is good match but here visitors are good because Vardy is not available which is massive set back for them after losing against Manchester City now they want to do some good which is coming against Leicester.

Honestly it wasn't really an impossible situation but Liverpool got really unlucky and everyone who watched the game knows it. The game we watched definitely didn't deserve a 4-1 result, it wasn't even that much in the first 70 minutes or so but after that suddenly the 1-1 game became 4-1 very quickly.

Not that it was a bad game to watch as a fan of neither team, I just had a lot of fun watching it, but I also felt a bit sad about the Liverpool fans, they did win a lot of cups in the recent years so they shouldn't be really that sad about this year but it is looking more and more like they are not going to be winning anything, this game probably already sealed the possibility that they won't become champions, and I feel like they will have hard time even for top 3 fighting by the looks of it as well, if they can fight they may become third by the looks of it.

~
By seeing the stats, most likely it won't end a draw.
While past games are good references in making predictions, it's more important to look at the current situation of the team. Kane is back into the line up which is a huge boost but Man City's confidence is very high now. Mou will be very cautious of that. He is probably planning of not conceding a single goal and getting one.

Seems like City became the common enemy this season  Grin
Yes please, I want them to lose once, or twice, or until the end of the season.

By head to head in EPL and EFL Cup (both sides managing English clubs), Jose Mourinho is better than Pep Guardiola.

Mourinho - 4
draw - 1
Guardiola - 3

Leeds are going to play a home game against Crystal Palace tonight. Leeds are the 11th and C. Palace are the 13th with the same points (29). Leeds (2W 3L) and C. Palace (2W 1D 2L) both got 2 wins in the last 5 games in the league. C. Palace won their last 2 games. In the last 5 head-to-head games, Leeds won twice, C. Palace won once and the rest of them ended in a draw.

Missing player(s) at Leeds: Robin Koch, Diego Llorente, Carlo Ian Poveda, Rodrigo (3 goals)
Missing player(s) at C. Palace: Mamadou Sakho, James Tomkins, Joel Ward (uncertain), James McArthur (uncertain), James McCarthy (uncertain), Jeffrey Schlupp (2 goals),
                                             Wilfried Zaha (9 goals)

My source: https://www.flashscore.com/match/6TaSLgs1/#match-summary

I think C. Palace can have a big difficulty in the absence of Zaha. I think Leeds are the advantageous side here and they can beat their opponent.

I will avoid betting on this game, the two teams are very unpredictable and have already made me lose money on several occasions

1 game today, Leeds Palace. I like tough little Leeds as usual.

Here is the yesterday action and new tables.

-snip-

The wheat is slowly separating from the chaff. ManCity has one game less. If they win the catch-up game, it will be very difficult for the competitors. I don't think they can catch them then, especially after the clear win against Liverpool. ManUnited and Leichester are currently not in the class to catch up with ManCity. I think places 3-6 will be a lot more exciting. All teams are very close together.

Manchester united 3 - 3 Everton

with this draw, City can have 5 points advantage over manchester united and 10 points over liverpool if they manage to win today, but if liverpool manage to win they may be back in the race to become champions. But if liverpool loses then the situation will become complicated. liverpool plays very well when facing teams like City, tottenham or manchester united. so the chances of liverpool losing may be little, I think there is a greater chance of a draw
A fatal error in defense left them with only 1 point. I saw 4 mistakes made by defenders and goalkeepers. Maguire took the wrong position for offside and lost run to Calvert-Lewin despite being one step ahead. De Gea also made several wrong decisions that resulted in goals. Meanwhile, Tuanzebe, who had just entered to replace Greenwood, instead committed a foul and a yellow card. Through this violation Everton made the third goal.  It seems they are difficult to get ahead of points from City who have fewer matches.

Are you kind to your neighbor? Think it through

Ok after the game played earlier this Premier League is almost over in my opinion.
Manchester City can now go +8 they are actually at +5 but they have 1 less game played.

What do you think? Is it over?

No it is not over; football is all about purple patches; but if Manchester City remain 5 points clear by match; then it could be over for other teams; i am expecting the champions league, carabao cup, fa cup ties and the league matches to disrupt city form and fitnes..

Tonight Leeds United face Crystal Palace; Bamford is firing after few weeks of blanking; and i am tipping him to continue his fine form and leeds united to  win crystal palace 4 - 2

Today Manchester City simply destroyed Liverpool. It was a one-goal game. I haven't seen anything like that in a long time, so I bet on Manchester City to win today for a reason. My only regret is that Guendogan didn't score a hat-trick.

Its been a week of expectations for me and I'm glad the teams I support is apparently measuring up with Chelsea back on track. Consistency has been there major problem so far not just winning a few matches and I hope that's what this current manager would be giving the team for future games.

Liverpool on the other hand flopped a lot this week, after loosing to Brighton from a home side in a supposed bonus game, they still went ahead to loose to Manchester city. Good for them still they still occupy a good spot on the EPL table and its about 15weeks still, a lot can still happen. We've seen many team seat o the table and come down though, i seriously doubt this for Manchester city.

Lastly, Liverpool are very bad on defense in the absence of Virgil van Dijk. They are still struggling in their matches and I believe they have least chance to do this from now on.
Liverpool's defence is now completely shattered. I never imagined they would lose 4-1 to Manchester City. I expected the match to be competitive. And the result will be a draw. But Manchester City proved my guess wrong and beat Liverpool by a huge margin of 4-1. Liverpool has managed just six points in their last five matches. Which is very low. Hope to be back in the winning track very soon
This guess is unexpected because I think playing at home will tend to win and dominate in it, but this is indeed Liverpool being embarrassed by Manchester City but the worst thing is Allison who made a mistake, well indeed this is the first time and indeed. not in an important event but still his second mistake just minutes after the first mistake.
I'm sure Liverpool are on track after going down last night.
