Arsene Wenger always give more chance for new young player and give them on line up team. Later management sell young player with higher value example like Cesc Fàbregas, Alexander Hleb and Alex Song was success get higher value, but now they less chance minutes give for young player.
when wenger coached arsenal, they focused on developing young players because arsenal's financial condition at that time was heavily in debt due to the construction of the emirates stadium, and at that time arsenal's young players had a strong mentality so they could compete with other teams so that they were able to finish in the top 4 , in contrast to the current Arteta era arsenal which seems to have lost a leader who is able to motivate players when they are in bad shape in a match.

Wenger is indeed a leader who is respected by his players, because he has charisma and is very good at developing young players. Therefore many
young players when Wenger became Arsenal coach could compete with senior players, while Arsenal's players now seem to have no motivation to win.
I think Arsenal management chose Arteta as coach is wrong, I really hope Arsenal can lose 5 games in a row in the Premier League, so that Arteta
can be sacked immediately and replaced by a more experienced coach.

Haha really? I did not even realize that,,, my best memory is still Moura and Son ripping them apart in Champions League. I still feel painful memories from the final after that that we lost meekly but the semi was so worth it. Nuno is a good tactician but more importantly is how he will manage a squad who is for sure not in the best of morale.

What I said was not true. Kane did played in most of the last H2H against City guess I relayed a false info. (*My bad*) Anyway regarding Nuno I think he is a great manager, somehow I find him similar to Pochetinno who doesn't have much recognition but have played a great part into building teams wherever they managed. I think he will manage Spurs quite well .. atleast better than Mourinho.

Wait what?? Here are some of the players that played first Arsenal game this season and their age:
Smith Rowe, 20
Martinelli, 19
Balogun, 20
Saka, 19
Nelson, 20
Lokonga, 21

I remember being surprised by couple of the names on the list. I actually don't think any of the big clubs had that many young players in their team. Could be wrong though.

This is the fourth away defeat to Spurs

And I think somewhere I read along was that out of 4 only once was in which Kane played. Very interesting selection from Nuno that day and that paid off. He would be very proud of how his team played. Honestly they could have scored lot more if capitalised on attacks well. There were lot of counters which didn't paid off for them.

Villa has lot of new players and I think it will take a time to adjust. Grealish will be obviously missed but I think Grealish sale has provided them a good money to build their squad.

Arsenal are no longer the team to compete for the top rankings. Now Arsenal is very weak compared to other teams. All the teams in the Premier League are trying their best to increase their strength. But Arsenal are far behind them. I don't expect Arsenal to be in the top five. I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't in the top 10. Their performance was very poor in the first match of the season.
It would take them 10 years to begin their fighting for top rankings in Premier League. I think it is very bad if Arsenal will be out of top 10. I think they are strong enough to fluctuate from 5th to 8th position on the table. Out of top 10 would be a worst thing in worst season for them.

Arsenal is a very good example of the club that is run as a business without regards to their supporters. While most of the teams are in the red with the money Arsenal has always been very profitable for the owners. While that is hard for the supporters which are used to the old glory days I don't think club management intends to change their policy anytime soon.
They need to have a new coach and new sport director. Because they need to change their strategy to make the club great again. Arsenal have better finance than Dortmund or Atletico Madrid when those clubs began with Simeone or Klopp. If Arsenal can find a sport director like Monchi in Sevilla and a good coach like Simeone or Klopp when they were young, the club will be grown up gradually again.

And while situation remains the same they will not fight for the title for sure and will be very happy with European qualification. Champions League could also be out of the reach this season since as you say most of the big clubs have much better rosters than Arsenal.

According to reports,Arsenal have agreed deal with Real Madrid over the permanent transfer of Martin Odegard in a bid worth 40 million. The Norwagian player have signed a five year deal with the club to make him the gunner's fourth signing of the summer. The player was Arsenal's top priority when he proved himself at North London over his period of his loan spell at the club.

He was thought to have remained at Madrid, but Ancelotti did not in include him in his plans at the club,he prefers the likes of Isco and other person's at the club so the player opt to join a club that he will be seeing regular football.

Martin Odegard is still a young player. Odegard will become experienced if the Arsenal team can guide him properly. However, I do not trust the Arsenal team. They are not stable as a team. I doubt Martin Odegard will be able to adapt to the other players on his team. Still, it is better for Odegard's future to be a regular performer for Arsenal than to sit on the bench for Real Madrid.
Odegaard had joined Arsenal in the previous season and in fact, Odegaard had played at Arsenal last season as many as 14 matches 1 goal and 2 assists. So, there is nothing more to worry about for Odegaard to return to Arsenal because he is used to it but anyway, Arsenal still need a bigger effort to be able to compete in the top rankings because defeat in the early match against a promoted team is a bad result and there needs to be serious improvement in team.

This weekend, we are going to watch a superb game between Arsenal and Chelsea in Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal have started really badly. Brentford destroyed them 2-0 home. Arsenal had big problems in the absence of Lacazette and Aubameyang. They are still injured and their return dates are unknown for now. Without having their best attacking players, they will surely struggle against Tuchel's Chelsea.

Chelsea destroyed C. Palace 3-0 without even Lukaku. And it is said that Lukaku is going to be able to play against Arsenal. This changes everything for this match.

I think that Chelsea will not have too much problem on defeating Arsenal here. Arsenal still seem to be a problematic team.
Arsenal often shocks the favorites with their recent form..

thats why a team like arsenal is the most liked club by bookies lol, i wish my team to win big like 7-0 or so but lets be realistic, arsenal is a huge club...  and 7-1 i think its fair Grin.
big odds for sure on arsenal, in betting i might prefer a shocking result though.
Do you hope Arsenal to suffer a big defeat like when they faced Manchester United in 2008 with a score of 2-8?
I think you believe too confident for now Grin, as an arsenal fan, I realize that my favorite team is not seeded in that match and the chances of winning against Chelsea are certainly very small, but for a landslide defeat (7-1) of course I don't expect that happens, maybe we will see a final score of 1-2 for chelsea's victory, or it could be arsenal who won with a score of 2-1

The Tottenham chairman is a famously tough negotiator, and as he wants to keep Kane that makes it a very difficult proposition for City to get hold of him, even when he wants to leave. I would imagine that Tottenham, having seen Grealish go for £100m have put a huge price tag on Kane... £160m has been reported. They will want to gauge it carefully so that to Kane it seems like a high but fair price, whilst to Man City it seems like too much... so he ends up staying at Spurs not because they refused to let him go, but because Man City failed to meet a reasonable asking price. I'm sure that's what they're doing, but it's a very difficult game to play.

Yes, you are right. One of the factors that put Tottenham in control of this bidding process is that Tottenham does not really need the money and the expiration of Harry Kane's contract will take place in 2024. So Tottenham still has a long time to sell Harry Kane at a higher price (with the condition of Harry Kane's performance still good). But if Harry Kane's performances have slumped over time, then Tottenham will make a blunder because Harry Kane's price will also fall.

Of course this will be a dilemma for Kane, can't achieve his desire to move to Manchester city on the other hand Spurs want to keep him even though later he becomes a free transfer as long as Kane can still survive and a duet with Son.

I don't even have any news about this, is it still in negotiations or is it just like that? still Kane doesn't seem to be playing soon after the problem hasn't been resolved, while on the front lines only Son is still aggressive with his agility.

What is clear for now Harry Kane must be feeling frustrated. When he wanted to move (because his team didn't get the title) but Tottenham seemed to complicate the process. Although Man City has not withdrawn their offer, I think Man City will give up and will definitely withdraw their offer if the bidding process still does not run smoothly.

Odegard I do not think will ever be a big player instead he is a player that has potential but needs the right environment to achieve it. I do not think Arsenal have the right environment for him to develop to his potential and he would have been more suited at Madrid where they have better coaching and facilities. I also think Odegard is not suited to the Premier League I was not blown away by his performances on loan but Arsenal have done well to get him for 40 million and could profit on selling him in the future if he does improve. He probably was in Ancelotti's plans but because of Real Madrids financial situation they were forced to sell him. I think Arsenal knew this and got a good price because of it. I do not think Arsenal will be reaching top 4 even with the permanent signing of Odegard I think they need to be more ambitious in their transfers if they want to improve their league position from last year.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
But seeing Kane showing bad signs is actually a gamble. Management is betting on his performance. Maybe he will feel uncomfortable and his game will drop. As a result, the selling price may even go down. Yes, there seems to be no more news about his move, it looks like he will remain at Tottenham.
I don't think Kane's performance would drop, he is a professional and he is not only playing for Spurs, but also for his own individual achievement in world football, I understand how difficult it is for Tottenham to let go of Kane, as they will definitely struggle to find a suitable replacement for him, Tottenham could be ready to keep Kane till the end of his contract and then let him go for free. The thing I'm certain about it's that Kane wants to leave Spurs, and I'm pretty sure he is going to be disappointed that he didn't move to a big team that can win the league.

It is not expected that he will score 28 goals in 34 matches in the 2020-21 season, having scored only 6 goals in 35 matches in the 2019-20 season. He has abilities. We've seen gameplay from him in the past. He can't adapt himself to this team. If we could adapt, the performance would not have deteriorated. Moreover, he needs more experience.
There is nothing wrong with what you say, he really needs time and effort to adapt well to his team which will give him experience. Tuchel may be able to give him plenty of chance to get more playing time in this busy season and Werner should make the most of them. There's no way Chelsea would be interested in him just to sit on the bench all season. If this season Werner fails to play well, then next season he will not be in the Tuchel project again in my opinion.
Werner had a bad season last season and he has not lived up to expectations. Chelsea made a decision to replace him with Lukaku. If you look at the team that Chelsea have there is no room for 2 strikers and one of them will be benched. I cannot see them benching Lukaku when they bought him for as much as they did. Werner is out of favor in Chelsea and I expect him to look for a transfer out of there next season.
I don't think that Chelsea took Lukaku to replace Werner, because even if they are not on the field at the same time, internal competition will never hurt in such matters. I do not think that Werner suddenly took and lost all his skills in one season and you can put a fat cross on his prospects as a striker. Not at all. The process of adaptation, the style of play of the new team, just an elementary psychological state and banal bad luck can make their own adjustments to the striker's game. And Chelsea need a result here and now, which is why Lukaku's transfer took place. In any case, Werner will be given chances this season, and then it will be as it turns out. Big clubs also can't wait indefinitely for a result from a player.

Manchester City shouldn't have much problem against Norwich this week. It is time for them to get their first win also. Norwich seem as an easy opponent for now. Because Liverpool didn't have any difficulty in beating them. I can't even imagine what City can do against them. I feel like they will win it with at least a 4-goal difference like 4-0 or 5-1.
Yes Manchester City are the clear favorites to win this match against Norwich. This would be their first win and will get them in the points table. Norwich doesnt seem to trouble manchester city as they were down and out in the game against liverpool.
Looks easy but never forget last two season Norwich City success defeat Manchester City and Pukik is the best forward for Norwich, I think primer league is most competitive league and everything could be happen, never have guarantee with big four club will easy with new club like Norwich, everything can be happen and City loss again.

Yeah, the EPL is a really tough league and there is no guarantee for any club. But Manchester City started with a loss against Tottenham. So they want to make up for this loss as soon as possible. As Norwich started not very good, this is a chance for City to get a nice win. And I believe in them to succeed in doing it.
