Despite losing I still think that Manchester City will win the league. Their bench is worth over 300 million and their on field players are closer to a billion. No other team in the league can compete with that and they will probably add to their team before the transfer window closes.

Nope... They had an experienced striker, Timo Werner. But the problem is he’s misfiring, having trouble in finding the goal. Lol. He prolly has one of the highest expected goals numbers in the EPL.
And imo, the person holding back Man United could be Solksjaer. Dunno... Maybe he proves everybody wrong and wins them the EPL or the CL this season.

We have left a very awesome week behind. Majority of the biggest teams in this league started the season with nice victories.
Liverpool didn't have much problem on winning 3-0 against Norwich. It was really nice to see van Dijk starting to play again. I hope that he doesn't struggle with a serious injury anymore.
Chelsea also got an easy victory against C. Palace, 3-0. They dominated the game and deserved this win. It wasn't good to see that Werner's scoring problems are maintaining. I hope to see him better in the next games.
Manchester United obliterated Leeds, 5-1. Pogba and B. Fernandes were really amazing. Pogba got 4 assists and Fernandes made a nice hat-trick. I can't imagine a better start than this.
But Manchester City couldn't start very well. Tottenham managed to beat City here again, 1-0. They are like City's nightmare.

Owners really get restless when they are not getting the results they expect. They just want to change things up as quickly as possible instead of giving anyone a further chances. Its not PSG there are many clubs who just quickly go on firing as they get some loss streaks.

He should win PL IMO given how he manages the team but don't know for sure as there are other capable teams in PL as well. Also there are underdogs which makes things difficult so its a very tough campaign. x

I like what Tuchel is thinking there. One shouldn't be happy with the arrival of goal machine like Lukaku and we have yet to see how he performs in PL. We have yet to see if arrival of Lukaku will settle their unavailability of a goal scoring striker for sure. Last year Chelsea under him did well but most of the points were lost under Lampard. Now Tuchel has nothing binding him down to keep them out of the race. The challenge this season is going to be between Chelsea and Manchester United: they are the best two teams of the league, the most well equipped to win the English Premier League. If I would have to bet today i would pick Chelsea as I do not think they will be able to win the Champions League again. But as for the EPL, they are certainly the best. They were good last year and now they are even better.
I have the same opinion as you, because in my opinion both teams have a pretty good squad to win the EPL title this season, and it can even be said that Chelsea and Manchester United are the strongest candidates this season, but of course anything can happen beyond our expectations as happened in the 2015-16 season when Leicester city won the EPL. Yup, Norwich is really starting with a bad schedule. But sometimes it's easier to play the top teams early on, while they are still getting into their rhythm and while new players are adapting.
Norwich was good against Liverpool, Liverpool had a bit of luck for the 1st goal and just used their quality to finish them off. But Norwich showed some good elements, based on that game alone I think there are worse teams in the league and they might be staying up.

Not necessarily. Even if he plays in the match, he will still be eligible for Man City in Europe.
It's difficult to predict an outcome here. Man City obviously want him and are willing to pay a lot of money, but Spurs want to keep him and have him under contract until 2024. Meanwhile Kane wants to leave, but won't want to alienate the Spurs fans too much in case he is forced to stay.

Arsenal will loss again and again because they not ready with primer league, almost player success got in this season have bad quality except other club success got best star player, maybe many player not happy to accept Arsenal because not play in champion league in this season, they begin loss for the first match and Chelsea waiting for give second loss for Arsenal.
They need a proper defense line. Without it they are vulnerable and we saw how easy it was for Brentford to punish defense for their mistakes. They need a someone with leadership qualities back there also if they need to be in the race. They can get some good quality players if they try to get players who has potential. There are lot of players who are in not a good team but have good potential and are looking to move into a good league.
Did Tottenham really do it? Then yeah, we won't be seeing him at Manchester City this summer most probably. But I was really hoping to see him there. He is just wasting his career at Tottenham struggling to win even one title. He is a world-class striker and a team like Tottenham don't deserve him.
It does not change anything. City and anybody can still submit bids for players even though they are registered with other teams. I remember in past seasons players get transferred but cannot play for the new club in a competition because they already played for another team still in the competition.
So basically,,, registration is easy to change and only once the tournament starts it is a problem (and Conference is not where City is so also not a problem).

Well there is a chance that Harry Kane wasn't fit to play. That could be due to the fact that, he returned to training 4days late than supposed which explains his frame of mind to play for the club. He can't be at his best with his mind not sure on either his to stay at Tottenham or he would joining Manchester City. Pep really needs to seal that deal anyway and Nuno needs to come to terms with Kane if he's mind is made up.It would be a blow on Manchester City not to sign Harry Kane but, the squard in City ain't that bad except that, Pep Guardiola needs to be mindful on his decision of resting players. People keep thinking that rosters do not matter and what you do with that roster matters the most, that has been the case ever since Liverpool became champions and such a great team with a roster people didn't see so great. You may like Henderson, salah, sane, firmino, fabinho and so forth roster back in the day when you look at it today, but none of those players were seen as stars at the time, then Klopp came in and now they are such a big name club. Ever since those days people do not look at the rosters exactly, but want to see what that roster will do.
Honestly I feel like roster speaks volumes and City is still looking like the biggest contender, I would give them that right, BUT if they actually end up getting Kane? That is just game over honestly, there is no way that they could actually end up not winning with Kane on that roster, it is just too much of a fail to happen.

It's not really about the roster per say. It's one thing to add players to roster, it's another thing for them to be able to deliver top level performance. Otherwise, it just doesn't make sense. I've seen and heard of several cases like this. For instance, in the NBA, Brooklyn have players in their roster that we call the "Big 3" but even with these guys in their roster, they were unable to win the NBA title.
Even if Man city added Kane in addition to Grealish in their roster, other top teams have an equal chance to win the PL title this season.
