Manchester United have been in need of a very good central midfielder for a very long time, they went round the circle with the likes of Andre Harrera, Paul Pogba and even Matic having been there before but we all the first time that Manchester United witnessed a proper balance in that midfield was Casemiro first season, the midfield was well balanced then but we all know they can’t depend on him because of his age, last season his injuries which cost him to have a very poor season affected Manchester United very well and it is definitely logical that they sort after a new central midfielder because someone like Mac Tomminay cannot be dependable. Right now there r primary target is PSG’s Urgate who personally would like to come also but his price tag is definitely chasing Manchester United away, i had thought that as PSG got Nevez that it would be easier for Manchester United to get the player cheaper but PSG aren’t looking to reduce the cost of him and it is good for united to start looking for potential alternatives. Also the thing holding Manchester United back is that they have to sell at least one of either Casemiro or MacTominay, with scot looking to be the one to leave as interest grows


First of all Manchester United didn’t win the trophy luckily as man of you put it, they might have not been upto Manchester City interms of standards but believe me they took that game to them and deserve the win. The community shield will be even more challenging or competitive because of the fact the Pep and is boys are yet to win a community shield for four seasons now and a win against arch rival will be a good time to turn the tide

I think the conclusion of everything in the game between Arsenal and Bayer Leverkusen game today is that Arsenal team was the better side, came more prepared for the game, had an excellent game play and took advantage of the dominance they had in the game and scored 4 great goals to overcome the champions of Germany in a very easy way.

The pre season matches may not be taken seriously by some team but I don't support the idea of accepting to play a game when you know that your team will not be serious in the game. I think Arsenal has really shown their readiness to fight for the English Premier League trophy next season because from the look of things they may be challenging Manchester City for the third time in a roll but since Manchester city has been doing very well in their pre season games also I think we should expect an excellent performance from both teams come next season.

Currently Casemiro is still part of Manchester United, but it cannot be denied that indeed for now Casemiro still seems unable to develop under Ten Hag and we can see how Casemiro's performance in pre-season matches actually tends to be mediocre and can even be said to be quite bad for a midfielder who has experience.

He can still compete but it looks like Manchester United is not the right place for Casemiro because after his prime in Madrid it seemed to disappear when Casemiro was at Manchester United and I don't think it's too good to force that and Manchester United's decision to look for other options could be a good thing. Even if in the end Manchester United don't look for new players I think it would be very good to try Toby Collyer to the senior club because I feel he has quite good potential if you see his vision in the game in pre-season matches.

Of course is the Arsenal we all know. I've always been saying that tactically in Europe at the moment, Arsenal is one of the teams that has a strong tactical formation to challenge those big guys. Mikel Arteta has been able to build a strong army of players over the years. Before the game I already knew Bayer Leverkusen stood no chance against Arsenal.

 forget the fact that Bayer Leverkusen won the bundesliga, arsenal to me is a much stronger opponent even if they came second behind Manchester city in the EPL. I understand that, it's a pre-season match, but such kind of victory Will help build the confidence and moral of the arsenal players this coming season.

There is no need to be serious like this because it is a pre-season match that makes even though the match is quite striking in terms of score but I don't think this can be used as a condition to make it seem as if Leverkusen is bad and Arsenal is much better than them.

Friendly matches are sometimes always a scary specter because sometimes our expectations become greater and it can be inversely proportional to the conditions in which they play in the competition that will be held.

Xabi seems to want to hold back and not make any early noise because they are currently in the limelight and if they unleash their full power then the plans for the upcoming season could be read by other clubs who are opponents. Instead of a score, it looks like Leverkusen are still concerned with the new formation they want to develop.

Indeed, we don't need to take the results of matches that occur in pre-season too seriously. But for the fans of the club itself, I think seeing their team win a match will still be a joy even if it is only a pre-season match. And actually Arsenal and their main squad still looked very sharp as they showed in the first half. It's just that Leverkusen actually still looked good even though they lost in terms of goals, but they had good passing accuracy and Arsenal actually had a passing accuracy level that looked a little bad in the second half. This match may just be a friendly match to test the players' abilities. But before the season is about to start. We are starting to see that in pre-season matches the main squad is also starting to play more. Which makes pre-season matches more serious than usual.

It's now obvious that Chelsea doesn't know what exactly their problem is talk more of finding solutions. They have a very big problem in their defense and instead of working on how to improve the defense, they're busy signing very useless players and to make it worse, they are offering them a very long term contract. I can't wait to see what will happen to them when they meet City in the opening match of the season with their shallow defense. It's high time we accept that Chelsea is now below average team with the signings so far. Although this guy is not the kind of striker that Chelsea needs right now but I see some qualities in him more than what they have before as Jackson. He's aggressive and fast as well as he's also tall and big but his finishing is not guaranteed.

I believe xabi didn't put in so much efforts and pressure on all of his players to get a certain result but then in the end they obviously didn't probably to avoid strain and possible Chances of injury that may affect the team in the long run as the season will start in few weeks and they wouldn't want to suffer same fate as Manchester United. Arsenal actually took the game more seriously than Leverkusen did, I believe if the efforts were matching, the results would have been something below this.

Bayern Leverkusen came unprepared in this match or should we say they weren't interested in this game. Leverkusen will fell off if they play like this for the rest of the season even though we can assumed that pre-season match aren't that serious match. Conceding three goals so fast is a sign of weakness playing in offensive and the same as attacking game.

Arsenal on the other hand has shows that not only Manchester City is prepared in their friendly match, even Arsenal is prepared for them because so far, Manchester City are winning their friendly match and Arsenal has done the same, perhaps we are going to have tight head to head this season again or Arsenal might just win the Premier League this season after many tries by Arteta.

In the last two seasons, Chelsea has spent quite a lot of money recruiting players in the transfer market, but this has been in vain because their strength is still not strong. Many say that the current era of Chelsea was built on the power of money and indeed this has been seen in the two seasons after they bought players at quite high prices and even broke records. But unfortunately the performance of the Chelsea players has not been able to lift Chelsea's performance.

Chelsea has become a mid-table leader and they were easily beaten by their opponents. Last season their performance improved under Pochettino but unfortunately the coach's work had to end quickly because he was fired. This season it seems that they will also find it difficult to show good performance because they have to face a new style of play again under their new coach.

The match was very interesting to watch despite it being a pre season match. Alonso wanted to defeat Arsenal while Arteta also wanted to the same, and they both put their best squads in the game which resulted to this trashing 4-1 defeat at Emirate stadium.

If you watch the match, you will see that almost all Alonso’s first team players start because he wanted a win either. It is a pre season game and it have showed how well prepared Arsenal is as well as Leverkusen because they both try in the game.

It was just a pre-season game and I think it is clear as you said that we cannot conclude early on how Chelsea will play when the real season starts, although I also admit that Chelsea showed a pretty bad performance in this friendly but I think the pre-season game cannot be completely used as a benchmark to draw conclusions too early.
I am quite sure that Chelsea did not show their real game and performance in that match where there is a possibility that the defeat was because Maresca did not want his players to experience any problems if at that time they played optimally in the middle of the league which will be held soon. That means something surprising could happen, but it is only a possibility.

I don't think Arsenal are too pleased with their win, like many they were just testing tactics and some players, everyone should realise that's what pre-season matches are for, not to satisfy their egos with wins. Most teams don't even put half of their main squad on the pitch in such matches. But it's definitely worth saying that Arsenal are feeling good about themselves

Yeah friendly games are not to be taken seriously but there is always a good feeling when teams takes it seriously and win most of their pre season games because it is also a way of preparing themselves ahead of the new seasons so sometimes their performance at pre season games can reflect in their normal league matches so whether Bayern Leverkusen played their best squad or not, it doesn't change the fact that Arsenal won them in a friendly match and looking at Arsenal squad that featured in this pre season match, most of their key players were available for this friendly match hence their ability to win Bayern Leverkusen all the way from the first half so friendly or no friendly game, it was a good result from Arsenal.

You need to understand that whether players that featured in a pre season match or not, every player is cautious of not getting injured before the league matches starts so is literally every team that doesn't play all their key players in a friendly match as some of the players are reserved for the new season games.

Arsenal playing  Bayern  Leverkusen in Club Friendly. Arsenal  having a good time in the match-winning 3 goals to not in the first half of the friendly. Leverkusen taking full possession in the first half why Arsenal is leading in the first half. so what much are we expecting from Arsenal in the upcoming Premier League 2024/2025 season if they keep their good performance at this friendly and bring it in the upcoming Premier League fixtures they will be able to win the league and stop the holding champions Manchester City of winning league one more time this coming season. Arsenal leading in the second half by 4 goals against Leverkusen.

I just hope Chelsea won’t continue like this when the season starts. I know we shouldn’t use pre-season matches to judge a team, but Chelsea's performance in pre-season matches is just kind of poor. I will keep on saying it that Chelsea defense is just too weak, and their opponents are always finding it easy to penetrate. We all saw how Chelsea conceded goals easily against Manchester City in their pre-season match. Seriously, their coach should try to fix all this before the season starts, because he might find it difficult to correct the mistake when the season starts.
 
Chelsea are making use of their main players in pre-season matches, so I expected their performance to be better. Other clubs are using the players they have in reserve, but Chelsea are making use of their main players, so I just have the feeling that if the season starts, there won’t really be any serious changes in their performance.

The first question here is: did you think that sander Berge will be the best fix for Manchester United? Although we know that Sander Berge is a very talented midfielder that has impressed a lot of people so far, and based on consideration, he will be the best solution to fit in the midfielder than Ugarte, the best fact is that Manchester United should try their possible best to be so strong and good in this season so that they can do more than what they did in the previous season so that those that have an interest in supporting them will have the hope to support them more.
 
All expectations are now on Manchester United, and we have hope to see what they will do in this upcoming season if they will do more than last year or if they will do less, so we hope to see the best performance.

Well like I always say it's the friendly games and i wouldn't ever take these games that serious because the whole league itself hasn't kicked off and this lose can't be used to determine the way they will play because I can see even from the line up that most of the players of this Bayer Leverkusen wasn't actually featured and that's because maybe the Manager might be avoiding unnecessary injuries to his players.

Chelsea players are not that bad both i think, Chelsea have been spending good money on players that is exactly what a club needs but Chelsea are spending money and their performance is still poor, despite all the money they have been spending. because Chelsea bought a lot of players still nothing good is coming out for now so they have to do better than what they have been doing because this is no longer the issue of having player or not they need to train the once they already  have. look at club like Liverpool that did not even participate in the transfer window are still and will continue to do well. how you prepare your players matters a lot. and even before Chelsea can be fully transformed it will take a lot of time for that to actually happen but you know fans they will want everything to happen in no time. using the preseason to experiment is not a bad idea because that is one of the places you test run anything you want to test run. when Chelsea played against Manchester city the facial expression their fans were putting on was funny because they already know that they their club is already loosing a lot of things, and for them to get that back is going to be a lot of work. if its about Chelsea spending money on players they are trying but they need to work on their players not buying alone to be their concern.

Manchester united I would say got really lucky the last time they even won the FA cup from their city rivals because it was a clear stand that Manchester city are way better than united and I know they would definitely win the community shield from united this weekend although I can't be really certain as per say because that title isn't really that serious and they might decide to start their second squad and not all their top players.
