Chelsea are still having bad results despite all the players they're signing because they keep on signing average players. Signing players is a good thing and banking on young players is also a good thing but you can't go about signing every youngster you come across and don't sign any veterans that can actually lead the club to glory. The club is a mess I kid you not. They're filled with young players that are not even that good. If they had been signing generational talent types of young players, it wouldn't have still worked out when you have so many young players together, talk more of when the young players they're signing are not generational talent.
I feel sorry for the coach though because everything is going to be his fault.
Aside from players like Enzo, Nkunkun, and James, I struggle to see any undoubably good players in Chelsea.
I can also say that the Chelsea club looks like it is full of speculation. It's just that they seem to be investing in the young players they bring there. But too many numbers will only make it difficult for coaches to choose. If you remember when Potter came here, at that time the complaint at this club was that there were too many players sitting on the bench. Meanwhile the coach tries to give everyone a chance. And of course that's hard to do. I would rather this team just focus on some potential young players. And develop it to the maximum. But what we see now is a buildup of young players here. But the results we saw last season were quite good. So I will not blame the management of this club before the results are seen. So I think we'll see how it goes.

Look at the vote at the top of the topic, not everyone thinks the same as you, and I see that the prevailing opinion is that Arsenal will become champions. I do not agree with this opinion, and I think that last season was the limit of their capabilities for Arsenal, and this time City will not let them be so close. I understand that Arteta really wants to become champions with Arsenal, but as long as City and Guardiola dominate the Premier League, they will be champions. Maybe this is Guardiola's last season in the Premier League, he has not yet decided definitively and will think about it closer to the end of the season.
What is clear is that it will not be easy for any team to be able to dampen Manchester City's ambitions and we can see last season even though they were a few points behind Arsenal in the end The Citizens were still able to shift the team from the city of North London. What is needed now is consistency and Arsenal cannot be said to have that for the past few seasons. Until finally Manchester City managed to lift the title again.

But I have paid enough attention to how Liverpool is with Arne Slot and that will be a tense breakthrough next season. Having a different style from Jurgen Klopp, it seems that Arne Slot will present a different atmosphere and that must be watched out for by Arsenal and Manchester City. I think Pep Guardiola will probably extend his contract with Manchester City and I am very sure as long as he is not tired of breaking other records.
Manchester City have set a standard in the EPL for the past 5 to 6 seasons and to beat them to the EPL trophy, other teams needs to perform above that standard, if only Manchester United could off-load some dead woods according to netizens and bring in quality players with good experience, then they could match City's standards, they showed some class in the FA Cup finals but I doubt if they'll come close to City if they stil find it difficult to off-load those lazy players. Currently, Arsenal are the only club that comes close to matching City's standards, they've proved that in the past two seasons and I think the upcoming season would be great for them and even though they still find it difficult to finish above City, I expect them to win a trophy. Arne Slot looks like a manager with great potential, and if my speculations are right, Liverpool could be one of the tough contenders for the trophy and give City a need to worry about the EPL title. Hopefully, if Liverpool finishes top 4 this coming season, it would be right to say that Jurgen Kloop left the club in good hands.

The odds are overwhelming, no one really expects anything from Manchester United, from the famous red furies.
Manchester City is becoming a powerful and relentless team, so much so that it has truly ruthless betting odds.
Obviously bookmarks don't go to take money: so here too the result is obvious.
City are usually favorites to win against most teams in the world, and definitely against Manchester United, but the Manchester derby can be unpredictable sometimes and even the team in form can lose unexpectedly. Nobody expected Manchester United to beat City in the 2023/2024 Fa cup final, but they did. Don't get me wrong, i am not saying United is going to win the game, but there is a chance, and to add to that, the first game of the new season is usually tricky and the best players might not be at their best.

yes, it's true, Manchester City remains a great, strong team, but Manchester United remains a dangerous team, they can sleep the whole match and concede and then with a sprint score two goals a few minutes from the end and snatch an undeserved cup from the team that had dominated all the time.

They scare me too

Chelsea players are not that bad both i think, Chelsea have been spending good money on players that is exactly what a club needs but Chelsea are spending money and their performance is still poor, despite all the money they have been spending. because Chelsea bought a lot of players still nothing good is coming out for now so they have to do better than what they have been doing because this is no longer the issue of having player or not they need to train the once they already  have. look at club like Liverpool that did not even participate in the transfer window are still and will continue to do well. how you prepare your players matters a lot. and even before Chelsea can be fully transformed it will take a lot of time for that to actually happen but you know fans they will want everything to happen in no time. using the preseason to experiment is not a bad idea because that is one of the places you test run anything you want to test run.

Basically Arsenal became one of the teams that had a high transfer value and thus, it was proven at least in the last two seasons that Arsenal managed to compete for trophies in the Premier League. After all, if for example Arsenal were unable to do that, then Arteta should have been fired. But yes, because so far Arteta has still managed to make Arsenal have a good performance and although there is no trophy obtained by Arsenal, but at least there will  still be a chance for Arsenal to get the best results next season maybe with a trophy too.

But about the big win Arsenal got against Bayer Leverkusen, I personally don't consider it a good or impressive result because after all, they only play in friendly matches that cannot be used as a reference. After all, if you compare the victory against Bayer Leverkusen, then of course Atalanta is still the best, because Atalanta managed to beat Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League final,  unlike Arsenal who only won in a friendly match. lol
But even though it was only a pre-season match, I think it's natural that we were all impressed by the game Arsenal displayed in this friendly match. In the first half Arsenal really played very well. They managed to take advantage of opportunities well enough so that they managed to get 3 goals in the first half. Arteta has indeed succeeded in building the Arsenal squad to become stronger every season. And yes, that's why Arteta is very trusted there and in fact I'm sure we all here also really appreciate Arteta who has succeeded in making Arsenal always compete in the race for the title. I think this season Arsenal will probably try to get their hands on the trophy. Because I think they deserve it.

The biggest candidate for the championship in the Premier League right now is Manchester City. I think everyone accepts this. However, other teams will also play ambitiously this year. Arsenal is also in this and they are aiming for the championship in the Champions League and the Premier League this year as they did in the last two years. Mikel Arteta believes that he will finally bring the championship to the team. He made some transfers very successfully as point transfers. He analyzed the areas where there is a need very well. Maybe Arsenal's longing may end this year.

Arsenal looked very impressive, with very fast flowing football. Arsenal's target for this season will be to be better than last season which will include scoring the most goals, conceding the least, maintain the record for most clean sheets, keep players fit. If Arsenal are successfully able to do this, they will make things even harder for Manchester City as the season kicks off.
Every team will continue to try like that this season so they can get good results right away when the season starts. Because in the Premier League there are still many strong teams that Arsenal need to pay attention to even though they themselves are trying to improve this season and can make a certain level of difficulty for all their rivals. But we also need to see how other teams develop from now on because in the Premier League there is always fierce competition that will be presented every season and the most consistent in winning their matches will be the team that challenges for the title like Manchester City did last season.

Arsenal, despite not winning the Premier League, have flourished under Mikel Arteta and it looks like winning the title is just a matter of time. Former assistant to Pep Guardiola, leading Arsenal since 2019, has brought significant progress. In the last two seasons, although the Gunners were unfortunately defeated by Man City, Arteta's team is making steady progress and people believe that they will be crowned Premier League champions. I think Arsenal's board should reward Mikel Arteta with a new contract with a huge salary. Mikel Arteta is now a worthy rival to Pep Guardiola.

One Arsenal player to look out for the new season is the 17 year old Myles Lewis-Skelly whose ball receiving ability is remarkable for a player his age and has been very good this preseason even against Bayer Leverkusen. He can develop into another star player.

It's been a great period for Arsenal's young players, but it's not just Myles Lewis-Skelly. Ethan Nwaneri too. Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly, two 17-year-old academy graduates. I was highly impressed by Lewis-Skelly's excellent performance at left-back and his effective transition into midfield. It is to their credit that both players have settled into the first team with ease and maintained their form against one of Europe's top sides.

I pray Todd Boehly gives this manager a chance because it is difficult for a team to be transformed in a season.
I don't think Todd is one to give managers time, that is why i am worried for Maresca that he won't last longer than this season, though for his sake i wish i turn out to be wrong. Chelsea does not look like a team that will be successful this season, there are a lot of things that still needs fixing in their team and i don't think their new manager is the man to fix it. Chelsea's transfer business is appalling, they are not buying the right players for their team, and they are definitely going to struggle again this season.
About buying players, I don’t think they are buying players to utilize now they are merely investing in their future and they believe they have more than enough players already for the main team and most of those players will probably be loaned out until they are matured enough to either join the main team or be marketed and sold for a higher price. I think the management is merely after profit they can make from player sales.

Earlier before appointing Enzo Maresca he made it known that he wants to build Chelsea in a way similar to Arsenal using young players with a coach that can improve their style of play and i think it was why he sacked Pochettino and brought in Maresca so i have faith that he will give Maresca the chance to build his team and he may be around for more than a season.

From the start the Arsenal team performed very convincingly, with every player creating a stir as they won the match with a big result. Because intensely they are succeeding this season, where unique team they are also very strong but this season has become a really reliable team. The results started their performance in a more efficient manner, while Leverkusen are a stronger team and have performed better than the Personal team has been able to by the strength of this season.
Now almost all eyes are starting to focus on what Arsenal got when they played Leverkusen because it was a very big victory over an opponent that could be said to be not bad or quite comparable to Arsenal. But what Arsenal did was certainly very good and beyond the expectations of many people so it would not be wrong if some people assumed that Arsenal was very ready to go through this season and would start it with a victory and would continue to try to remain consistent in their victory in every match later.

Chelsea are currently in poor condition, their performance in pre-season is very disappointing, there is no significant development shown under the current coach, poor defense is one of Chelsea's weaknesses, last season and this season only show disappointment for the fans, there needs to be a real overhaul that can rebuild Chelsea's glory, yes and it seems there is no hope for Chelsea in the competitive league which is now getting closer
You don't need to take preseason games seriously and there is no reason to say what you said. It is too early to say that Chelsea performance is bad and has no hope of returning to its glory days while the season has not started.
What you need to know now to avoid worrying is to consider pre season match as games to test young players or give all players a little chance to show their own style of play without taking this match seriously. And we haven't seen Enzo real contribution yet, but we need to see at least Chelsea first 10 games and if they get good results from the 10 match, Chelsea still has a chance.
What you said is true, pre-season is not a real event, just a match where each coach tests every strategy and can see his players play and determine the choice for the line up in the real competition, but if you look at the development shown by Chelsea, there is no significant development, I understand Enzo needs time because he is a new coach. but if you look at what the blues have shown, is it possible that the blues are ready to play in the Premier League which will start soon. Chelsea's performance is still the same as the previous season. I feel that Chelsea fired Mauricio Pochettino too quickly.

yes there is still a chance, and here Enzo must prove the fans' doubts about what Chelsea has shown so far, and especially Enzo Maresca must really fix Chelsea's weaknesses. but for now I still doubt it. before there is real evidence shown

In the Premier League, changes in the quality of a team each season always occur quickly. A team that played well last season may be bad next season. And vice versa, a team that was bad last season could turn into a strong team next season. Last season we saw very tight competition. Several surprises even occur throughout the season. For example, Man United ended the 2023 season very well, but apparently Man United ended the 2024 season not so well because they could only finish in 8th place. Meanwhile, another surprise was Aston Villa, which ended last season by finishing in 4th place, even though in the 2023 season we You know Aston Villa only finished in 7th place. Well they did the opposite with Man United. And it could be that in the next season the opposite will happen again.

If Chelsea focus is building a team for the future, then they shouldn't be complaining and firing managers when the results are not coming now. You can't assemble boys that haven't gotten the experiences and you want them to be winning clubs like Manchester City and Arsenal, Liverpool included, also expect them to win trophies And qualify for Champions league, at the expense of clubs that has more matured and experience players. That's not possible, no wonder they were not very convincing during the preseason. They should expect to battle it out with clubs like Ipswich, Nottingham Forest, Southampton and clubs in those categories in finishing among top 10. My only pity is for Enzo Maresca who is going to be at the center of everything and be the one to receive all the blames. I have this conviction that his CV will get spoilt at Chelsea, because Chelsea will make him look like someone who doesn't know football management.

If not Maresca who else will take the blame? God knows that I as a couch will not accept a job offer like this of Chelsea. It would take miracle for Maresca to achieve result with these average boys they're signing. As a couch there's no magic to perform in order to win trophies or even win matches if you don't have necessary players at your disposal. Enzo already made mistake for accepting the job at this critical time. I know it's not possible to gather all the top classics players in your team but at least you shouldn't be spending money to acquire players who are not even on the bench list in their respective former clubs. What they're currently doing is not even building of a team, it's a move to take Chelsea back to where Abrahamovic took it from before they came to limelight.

Since Manchester United couldn't have a good performance so far during the last season now they want to improve the team and especially the midfielders, that's why they decided to stop working with Casemiro and McTominay while these two players are both key players, and effective for Manchester united but they won't stop working with both players and hire some other players instead and they think Manuel Ugarte but this player too expensive and PSG asked 65 million euros for him that's why Manchester United thinks about Sander Berge the player Burnley.

Poor squad, wrong decisions made by Erik ten Hag and low quality players with lots on injuries brought about such a disastrous season for Manchester United.
Improving of the squad hasn't gone so well if you ask me. Manchester United need let go of players with high payrolls truthfully, otherwise the coach will suffer what he did last season. Manchester United needs defenders more than anything and with Harry Maguire and. Leny Yoro out Injured for don't know why they haven't gotten de Ligt.

Casemiro should have been sold but no such offers came in for him. Scott MC Tominay might have scored mandatory goals last season for Manchester United but he should be sold. Failing to sell these players means you cannot bring in new players.

I would love Manual Ugarte but Manchester United are currently leaving that deal at a wrong time. The way it seems, I don't see them winning Manchester City on Saturday. Sander Berge? I haven't seen him play honestly.

Arsenal went on to run Alonso's men street with a 4-1 win and I believe everyone has been talking and praising the Gunners for winning that game and not only that but made the Leverkusen side to suffer their second defeat since they went about business demolishing any team that comes their way. Good game but I still don't find this winning convincing at all, they need to do more than that, I mean the Arsenal side, if they don't have a complete squad then next season is going to be a repeat of last season's failure to win the league and the one before.
No issues with how they're playing with the ball, the movement and all that but if they don't get someone who can get them greater opportunity to compete for the title I mean a good striker then Pep Guardiola would be another champion and Haaland will continue dominating the other strikers by winning the Golden Boot in the EPL. I'm saying all these because Arsenal are the only team many are tipping and seeing as the next EPL champions so if they don't do the needful then they should forget about trying to win the league title and they should never forget also that Kai Havertz can't get the Gunners 20+ goals next season, he might but we're not certain at all that's if Arteta is relying on him to do so.

To be honest, I didn't expect Arsenal to win against Leverkusen in yesterday game because everyone saw how Leverkusen dominated their league last season. The defeat against Arsenal is the second game that Leverkusen has lost since last season, and Arsenal played an outstanding game, scoring two goals in less than 10 minutes. The Gunners deserve praise because defeating Leverkusen is not easy, I believe that if it hadn't been for Manchester City pressure, Arsenal would be the favorite to win the league next season, but competing with Guardiola over the last four seasons has been difficult. However, if Arsenal looks for a striker to improve their performance, it will be the best move to help them win the Premier League next season, because relying on Havertz and Jesus, we cannot be sure that Arsenal will achieve what they want next season.

They are playing base on how it favors them, talking about Arsenal, I think since Arsène Wenger left they started doing well in club friendly games, so is like they value the friendly games more and you have to see how wonderful they played ahead of next season. Seeing the Leverkusen side with all they did last season losing any game now isn't important to them until the main show get started, for now I believe Bayer Leverkusen have a lot on their plate and they are ready to keep everyone fit for the task ahead on like the Gunners who has already planned to fail on their quest for greatness. If nothing positive comes out for Arsenal then it is official that the Gunners are never going to win anything until they start spending heavily.

The initial problem arose because Todd Boehly put too much pressure on Pochettino to immediately bring Chelsea to their best performance, but Pochettino could not fulfill this demand because it was impossible for him to do so in his first season. Now that the two parties have parted ways and Chelsea have found a new coach, perhaps the demands will return to Enzo Maresca, who is now Chelsea coach.

Todd Boehly expectations are too high, he wants something that a coach can't give in just one season. If it continues like this, Chelsea will have a hard time developing because the coach is working under pressure from management. It is not yet certain what Pochettino experienced will be felt by Enzo Maresca or not, but if Todd Boehly does not give the coach time, the possibility of another coaching change is very large.
I doubt that Maresca is capable of achieving more with Chelsea than Pochettino did. If Alex Ferguson said that he would like to see Pochettino as the Manchester United coach, then this is an indicator that he should be trusted more, but Boehly sees it his own way. I think he also wants only the best for the team and is trying to change something, hoping to find a coach who can make Chelsea a team that can become a champion. The Conference League is not the level that Boehly wants to see.
Pochettino, Maresca, whoever it is - Their vision, not who they are, matters. The vision has been foggy for some time now. You notice those losses throughout preseason? That indicates a more serious issue than just bad luck. Boehly has to quit running after shiny items and concentrate on laying a strong basis. This involves allowing the management actual influence with moves rather than merely handing money to well-known figures unfit for the system.

Though Maresca might not be well-known in households, that might be a benefit. Past mistakes or unwarranted expectations do not weigh him. He can arrive with fresh views and create something genuinely workable.

Chelsea has to start concentrating on the long game instead of running after short fixes. This implies providing the manager actual control, funding young talent, and developing a system capable of regular success. Though it will not be simple, this is the only way to steer this ship around.

The favorites to win the league title next season are Manchester City, Arsenal are in second place, followed by Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United & Tottenham. The league hasn't started yet, so we can't say that Kai Havertz won't do anything for Arsenal in the coming season. In the match against Bayer Leverkusen, he got the highest rating than anyone else, can't say anything, but it seems he has been quite consistent in the last 2 friendly matches.

Speaking of teams to win the league title and you included Man UTD (very laughable), Chelsea and even Tottenham? What is the assurance that Chelsea can even make it to the top 4 position of the log come next season? I don't want to say much about Tottenham Hotspur because we hardly see much from them and is like the pre-season games doesn't concern them in any way to rate their performance but I can say they may finish outside the top 4 like 5th or 6th but not Chelsea who have been all over the news with their poor defense and their poor selection of players in the transfer market.
Let's say Kai Havertz can deliver but what if injury comes in what are the plans to cover that open spot? Arsenal only recruit backnups for the midfield defense but not the wing and attack so what's going to happen if something went wrong? See the money Pep Guardiola got from selling Alvarez, I believe he has something big as a replacement for that deal and we'll get to see the surprise he has for every club in the EPL, even if he never got any player this transfer window I believe he must make sure the team is completely balanced, so I can't picture Arteta edging up with Pep Guardiola with this squad without a striker.
