I'm gunning for a Tottenham win though. Dudes have been real solid this season. They've lost just once this season so they should keep it that way for now.

Well Manchester City has only lose once this season as well and despite their performance is not that good in Premier League, they are good in Champions League. Fun fact about Manchester City, In the last 5 games in Premier league Manchester City always score exactly 1 goal  Tongue but despite this, Im still going for Manchester City to win the game

Its exactly as you said, Manchester City always step up their game when they play against a top team. Both are totally equal but even if Tottenham ended up winning this game, I wont be surprised as its going to be a close game between both of these teams

I just read that Pep signed a two year extension as Man City's manager. It looks like they really found stability there which good on them as they'll remain in the running for the title.
Maybe it was just me but i thought he was fed up with the club since last season, and with the results City was getting in the PL this season, i thought he was ready to leave next year and maybe go back to Barca or test the waters in a national team...But looks like once more he accepted literally tons of money the challenge to try to win the CL with another club that isn't FC Barcelona (never gonna happen but, ok Pep LOL)

Lol but seriously aside from the money, Manchester City is doing good in Champions League

Tottenham - Manchester City

this is a very unpredictable game, if it is to make any bet I would go to: both teams score
i predicted a Tottenham win in the btctalk pool and in a few sportsbook promos...idk why i have this feeling that Kane & Son are going to dismantle City's defence and grab the 3pts next Saturday,, just a gut feeling 👀

Manchester City did a great job by keeping Guardiola for 2 more years. His contract will be over at the end of the season but they extended it for 2 years and secure the spot until 2023.

I expect them to be more motivated and beat Tottenham at their stadium. It's always nice to see Mourinho - Guardiola clash.

I think Tottenham would come through this time. They have been bullied one too many times in their recent meetings. One thing I've noticed this season is that, Man city might be losing/drawing underdogs but when it comes to playing against big teams (with the exception of mid-decent teams like Leicester city) they always step up their game. They held Liverpool down with a draw just before the international break so I feel they'll give the same treatment to Tottenham.

I'm gunning for a Tottenham win though. Dudes have been real solid this season. They've lost just once this season so they should keep it that way for now.

I don't have any other explanation other than moneh, moneh and moneh. And that Nations League stupid competition along with Euro qualifications? Those soccer organisations are more powerful than governments  Roll Eyes

I wonder what would happen if the clubs just decide they won't let their players go next time? Will it be like in Florenz where the player are joining their national teams even if they aren't allowed? Or will the clubs have to pay a fine in that case because they have a binding contract to let the players go?

Whatever ... it should've been the governments job to stop this nonsense. In Germany everyone has to follow strict Covid regulations with no betterment on the horizon and football players are traveling the world, spreading the virus?!

Even though playing at Tottenham Hotspur sometimes I think City are still able to win even though their game trend is decreasing. I heard that Sterling and Aguero can play in this match. They are the key players for City at the moment. Maybe City will win by 1-0.😊

There are 16 players that tested positive for covid19 in premier league since the last test from 9 to 15 november.
Some of them not disclosed but we know mo salah and havertz is one of them.

Which just confirms how stupid it was to play these internationals during this pandemic. I really am still shocked the the international football calendar wasn’t cut this season.
And this pretty shows how the International Football Association Boards, managers cares less about the health of the players, imagine having that number of victims making the premier league more complicated and uninteresting to watch. If this continues, then the lower clubs might have the chance of winning the title this season.

I hope this season doesn’t get stopped, lots of players contracting COVID on international duty. It was so dumb to play international games in a global pandemic, total greed by FIFA/UEFA.
The second wave of covid epidemics may begin. The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned us many times about this. International football matches are still being held. Many players are being attacked by covid-19. If its number increases then we will see another break in the football league in 2 months. Many matches may be postponed.

I think this can be avoided if the teams of the Premier League buy some Moderna or Pfizer vaccines for the players. If all teams do this then probably in 2021 we may see a normal continuation of the Premier League. The risk is only in 2020 as in 2021 both firms have promised huge number of vaccines produced.

I really do not think that winner of this season could be anyone, it is still going to be one of the big teams anyway.
If the set up is going to be as compact as what happened to the NBA bubble, the team with less Covid-19 infected players will likely win the title but it's still a long season for EPL. Some teams with less international exposure will take the lead for a couple of weeks but bigger teams will later catch up imo.

the games in this round will be very good. I'll be paying more attention to these games on Saturday:

Newcaste - chelsea

Fulham - Everton

but I'm thinking of multi.

chelsea will win

Everton will win

because I don't see Chelsea and Everton losing in those games.

and Saturday's big game:

Tottenham - Manchester City

this is a very unpredictable game, if it is to make any bet I would go to: both teams score

This numbers could still increased with tonight matches that will be played which of course at risk to get infected.
We should not believe there is a favorites side this season i guess , all the teams has equal chance to win draw and lost. Too much key players missing out for premier league important matches.

Agree this season means anything can happen because every team is affected by covid and especially big teams who have many international players, they feel it the most. I just cannot understand how people are playing internationals during this time,,, I know many have already talked about it but they really need to do something about this. These guys have families too and young children, imagine how they must feel now to quarantine and self isolate and worry they will spread it.

Covid affected players are now available in many teams. If the matches continues in such this type situation, the chances of many more players getting infected with covid 19 increase. Maybe all kinds of sports will be postponed again.

I really do not think that winner of this season could be anyone, it is still going to be one of the big teams anyway. I know it is not going to be easy to predict which teams that will be because there are few good teams, but it is unlikely that city and Liverpool will be too far away from title contention, they will still be great and fight for that title.

Sure it is not going to be guaranteed that they win championship but we are not going to suddenly see a Leicester championship type of season just because of corona. If corona affects big teams, it affects lower level teams as well, this is a global thing that affects everyone equally so unless a team gets corona all together and suddenly have 10+ missing players, we are not going to see something suddenly change.

I believe there will be another postponed on this season due the covid.
The second waves is coming after the international break.
Yep, it is very possible to have another postponed since it will be too risky if the competition still continues with many cases of "affected by covid" among the players. All the parties musn't want to see all the clubs to expecince the same thing as Juventus. Also, it risks the referees and field officers if the competition leage is forced to continue.

Do you know that in my country, football was postponed since last season. Even worse  Grin
I know what country you mean.  Cheesy
All football competitions should be posponed because of too bad way of the government in handling the Covid-19.

-snip-

This season is really a mess , but since i always wish about to have underdogs teams beating the giants and stay on top even to win the premier league then i think this mess could be the best opportunity ever , just look at how Manchester and arsenal now stay at 10th and 11th on the table and Manchester United at the bottom of the table along with other united teams like west ham UNITED 12th , newcastle UNITED 13th, Manchester UNITED 14th and Leeds UNITED 15th .
United teams are really united at the bottom of the league lol.

There is “extra content” in almost every movie, that shows us bloopers.
The EPL “Pandemic Series” is the extra content that made us laugh and cry at the same time.

United... assemble!
*insert avengers backsound”

I believe there will be another postponement on this season due the covid.

I am waiting for the resume of Premier League after Nation matches. Remember to keep your eyes on injuries or suspended players.

Good information, I didn't know this before. Hopefully the data from the site is really valid. Looking at the data there, it is possible that Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling could play. If this happens it will certainly be good news for City supporters. Even though they visit the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, at least the chance of winning is still very open, even though it is very difficult.
