Honestly Mo Salah should have been more careful but not regarding just because of sports, sports is not really important when you are talking about something as serious as health and family, he should have been more careful for his loved ones. We are talking about a wedding here, which means there must be some older people as well, I don't know if his parents are alive or not so I just want to say generally old people in there.

If Salah got corona from this wedding, I can't imagine no old person was very far away from all the positive people, there must be some older people who got close to someone positive as well. I really hope nobody is in serious condition, Salah looks to be fine just not playing football which is fine, but I really hope nobody else got serious levels of sick because of this wedding.

Leichester and Atlanta are very tough opponents of the Liverpool. Leichester is now in first place in the Premier League. Their players are playing very well. We got to see some great and exciting matches from them. They have also scored 5 goals against a big teams like Man City. Winning against Leichester will be difficult for Liverpool.

Yeah good point. Both sides are a very good attacking side and will be very good test for young defenders of Liverpool. They have to face very experienced attackers like Zapata, Muriel, Vardy and that will be quite something to watch.

...

Definitely would be quite a task for Klopp to think up of something when they don't have much options in defense. Klopp could try out formation changes but against such offensive side makes a bit doubtful. (Would be interesting to see what decision he makes when the day arrives)

We’ve been decimated by defensive injuries. This one though, I have a feeling the Scotland manager will have been in contact with Klopp. Robbo played a lot of games recently & then 90 minutes plus extra time. He did his job, Scotland reached their first major tournament for 22 years. I just think it’s been agreed for him to miss these silly internationals now incase he gets a serious injury. He probably does indeed have a tight hamstring but I think he’s being protected for both us & Scotland. After all he is no good to club or country injured.

That's a tough situation for Liverpool to break but honestly young defenders like Rhys Williams and Nathaniel Philips are really playing well. They have good opportunity to show some potential and make some playing room for themselves. Bit of tough opponents ahead as they face Leicester next and Atalanta in Champions League but I think they still have good chances of breaking them.
The international break has bad impact on Liverpool at this time, how not many Liverpool players have to be absent due to injuries such as Robertson and Mohammad Salah who are positive for Covid 19. It is getting tougher for Liverpool after losing Joe Gomez, Van Dijk, Thiago to Fabinho. It made Klopp even more dizzy, especially since the back line of all Liverpool players was injured starting from Alexander Alnord, Vand Dijk and finally Robertson injured after strengthening the national team. Kloop is very dizzy with the composition of the current players who cannot appear as a full team, especially now that Liverpool will have a lot of schedules, especially the increasingly tight primary League schedule.

Robertson is injured as well, he's a doubt for the Slovakia-Scotland game today.

If there are any doubts about his fitness levels, I'll be furious if I see him in the lineup today. I'm sure Klopp will as well.

Currently the whole Liverpool first-choice defence is injured. This season is really annoying as hell.

And the next match Liverpool is going to play on Monday is against Leicester city in Anfield.
This is certainly a tough match for Liverpool, Salah also cannot play against Leicester, if in total, Liverpool lost 6 players due to injury and 1 due to COVID-19. Salah maybe able to join the team on November 28, even though Liverpool in terms of players can still hold Leicester, but for Leicester this is a good opportunity to maintain the top of the standings. Draw is a good results for Liverpool, but leicester will give all out performance to create at least 1 goal to bring 3 points.

Someone cursed Liverpool this season, no defense, top attacker out for the next games, as I said before, I wonder know the feelings of Klopp. In his place I will be depressed lol. One of the positive things is that there isn't a team heading with many points difference and City is struggling. Leicester, Chelsea and the other teams consistance aren't top, so LFC can recover even if it didn't do well in the next games.

It could end up being disastrous to Liverpool. The Everton had faded off while other teams are neck to neck with Liverpool. There's 5 teams in 2 points difference while Leicester city is leading the league with 1 more points than liverpool. And the next match Liverpool is going to play on Monday is against Leicester city in Anfield.

And this poll has Man city and Liverpool neck-and-neck for winning the title.

Meanwhile United has their own share of injuries, Marcus Rashford and Luke Shaw are both out after out after getting injured at Everton vs United. Mason Greenwood is also out, though he is just sick and should be back on November 21, one week time. Same with Rashford but Shaw looks like he’ll be out for another three weeks or so.

Ole can play Alex Telles in that position if Luke Shaw is unavailable. Alex Telles was reported COVID positive a some weeks ago. Wonder if he is available now.. Rashford is a crucial player , unavailability of him would have been a bit of problem for United but if he is not out for long then good. United don't have difficult teams to face this month so that's also a relief.

How we move from this will determine whether we would defend the title or not.
You're correct, it's quite unfortunate that Liverpool have to cope with this number of injuries so early in the season, but it is what it is, and the only thing Jurgen Klopp can do now is to motivate the players available to perform to the best of their ability, I remember last season, City had so many injury issues and they were unable to cope with it and dropped far below Liverpool having to relinquish their title finally, let's see if that's what's going to happen to LFC, Leicester is a big test and an opportunity to make a statement, we'll see how that one pans out for Jurgen and his boys.

It will be difficult but Klopp with the Board should expect this outcome.
Liverpool is playing amazingly good football for over 2 years in a row in a league (Like Premier League) which is so demanding.
The should do a more extensive rotation to their team and not let them die from fatigue.
A pause of the matches due to COVID will save them however.

It seems the wedding of Salah's brother is a reason of his positive test with the Corona virus. People can said bad words against Salah but if you are Mo and you are participating in a wedding of your brother, what would you do?

Mo Salah tests positive for coronavirus just days after Liverpool star attended brother Nasr’s wedding in Egypt (from thesun.co.uk)

I wish all best for Mo and wish his quick recovery.

It’s a good thing Brendan Rodgers has form for choking Wink
We are going to need a bit of luck right now because half of our first XI is injured or unavailable. Thiago & Fabinho are supposed to be close to returning though so that’s good.

I don't think either Fabinho or Thiago would be back before our game with Leicester city next week. I've already come to terms with the fact that LFC will be without key players. Since VVD got out, Gomez became the pillar and bow that Gomez is also gone, I want to believe Williams or Phillips will be able to fill in the big boots if they are called to do so.  How we move from this will determine whether we would defend the title or not.

The positive result of Salah is the bad news for Liverpool but I don't think The Kop and Klopp will get much troubles with a few missed matches of Salah. Jota can be a good alternative for Salah. In recent matches, with very good form of Jota, I read people wanted Jota to replace Mane. The sudden infection of Salah brings a chance for Klopp to build up another team without Salah and also test the ability of Jota when he has to start match under pressure.

I think Jota can do his works well.

Liverpool won't be the only team to lose it's top players. I think that due to covid19 many teams will be forced to search for the replacements and use the young players. so we will see many surprising results ahead.

A weekend without what I like to call the real deal (EPL soccer). Damn these dull internationals, I’m not going to watch any of them, they bore the hell outta me.
I agree, Nations League is boring but if anyone finding this weekend is boring then Portugal vs France may be a good deal tho, it will start in 1 hour Wink

Indeed, bad news for one can be a good opportunity for another. The essential point is LFC finding a way to bring a good team to face Leicester after the disastrous health related issues lately...

I think Ole is not going any where in near future he is doing some good job now need some time hopefully he will be good enough in coming days because just showing door to manager is not good for them to improve team performance they need to do some more work on other issues as well and improve quality in buying players.

Ole is doing great , it's just some players are letting the team down. Bit of defensive players and an experienced striker in Manchester United will be enough to keep them back on track IMO. Man Utd can do whatever they want like with changing managers but result would be same until they bring in some good players as you said.

UEFA nations league matches were never my cup of tea. You have all these countries with teams who otherwise don’t qualify for UEFA Champions league, it feels like you’re watching second or third tier club matches. They still make a hella lot of money on sponsorships though.

What is looking interesting though is Man united’s new manager. Looks like Ole is going to be shown the door soon, better make way for Pochettino. Better than the other candidates for the role that’s for sure.
