It's not about their squad, it is about management. Chelsea poor performance last season was not as a result of squad, it was how Pottechino was making use of the wrong players in the wrong position. If we want to talk about squad, Chelsea is not the club with the weakest squad in the Premier league but their couch failed to utilize them very well. If Enzo will make use of different approach and use the players accordingly and where they are best good at, Chelsea will definitely make a different season better than what they showcase last season. Towards the end of last season, we all saw how their game pattern changed when Pottechino started using the appropriate players combination.
Change of management is having serious trouble for the Chelsea because after this change we have no good things happening around Chelsea they are having fall down with many coaches are already gone and chances of improvement is still not good because we need some time for coach to have changes and bringing improvement which happened in last season, but suddenly another change of coach bring another dilemma for them.

Now as we are having few good changes and mostly are expecting Enzo could be gone through for good results realistically it is looking not easy for him because we have to expect few things having good and solid performance is not going to happen quickly usually its take time and for this management needs some patience and good favour to coach currently we are having few clubs which are going down and having serious trouble due to management, but can things take change its never been easy.

There are a lot of speculations linking osimhen to Arsenal. I mean the links are heating up but they all have one source. I have my reservations about Osimhen. Honestly, I don’t think he’s that level raiser Arsenal need upfront. I don’t think his game is fluid enough for their set up. I don't think he's a good ball player. That fluidity is key to how Arsenal play. He’s not clinical enough and that's really what the next guy should clearly have above Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus.

I would honestly take Watkins ahead of him for all-around play and EPL-proven factor. Ollie Watkins or Isak over him because I think those two  could score more goals in this Arsenal system and in addition, they're better suited to their  style of play. At least, they wouldn't expect them to score less based on last 2 seasons' performances.
Osimhen is a player that like counter games, he can be best fit in PSG’s style of football not Arsenal’s because Arsenal pattern is a possession football, while Osimhen will want to receive the ball from a far distance, he can come to Arsenal perform well but the probability of him getting it right with Arsenal’s pattern of game is very slim unless if Arsenal start using their wingers to drive the game all the times.

Watkins is one of the best strikers in the EPL last season, he was my best striker because he performed better than Haaland, Hojlond and other strikers in my opinion. If Arsenal can get him, he will be a perfect fit for Arsenal, he can help them to win the Premier League easily than Osimhen.

When compared to other teams that are rebuilding their squad strength such as Chelsea and Manchester United, Liverpool is the most disgusting team, Liverpool performance does not seem to have declined even though there has been a change of coach. Of course Liverpool will start the season well if you look at their current performance, Arne Slot doesn't seem to have any major problems in his first season because the players are still able to maintain their best performance.

Klopp chose to retire because he wanted to take a break from football. Liverpool have no problems with their coach and player performance. So this will make Arne Slot's job a little easier because he has a very solid squad and had no problems last season. This is different from Ten Hag and Maresca who have to rebuild their squad. Chelsea have spent a lot of money during the Pochettino era and this is a tough challenge for Maresca to bring Chelsea back to being a title contender. I think Arne Slot will have a good season with Liverpool this season. It is not impossible that he will ask for advice from Klopp on the tactics he will use.

From the looks of things, he seemed pleased by their performance and was also heard commending them on their efforts. If you look at things, they are the only club that hasn't made any signings and that should tell you a lot. Liverpool will either be better than when Klopp left them or they will be a shadow of themselves, all depending on how Arne Slot handles the team and we'd see when the season starts if Liverpool will remain the threat they were last season and if Anfield will be a dreaded ground for teams or not.
He should be proud of his team because he got the best result in that game but he shouldn't be too comfortable about his squad because the heat hasn't started yet, EPL and champions league games and the domestic league games too are to be worried about, we know they haven't gotten anything in the market which we also know that they need the team to be more than he is seeing it as "ok to go".
No matter how this manager Arne Slot wants to handle the Liverpool team I still don't see them becoming as tough as they were when Klopp was in charge, they need to bring in some new faces to make the team look more mobile. To me I think smaller clubs will make a mess out of Liverpool more than they can imagine especially their long time rivals Everton. Come to think of it Ipswich has been busy doing stuff in the market and you feel Liverpool can survive the heat against such a busy team? I haven't mentioned some of the teams who finished the top 4, Aston Villa, Arsenal, Man City and the others are going to get the best of Liverpool, so all I'm saying is, the Reds will find it hard to play as strong as they did last season.

You are right. Liverpool will not be as strong next season as they were before because, even last season, they did not end the season in a way that will make us think they will come back stronger by next season. Also, they are not preparing ahead of next season like other clubs are; they did not get any players to join the squad.

I won't say much about that; maybe they have their own reason why they did not sign any new players, or maybe their new coach is confident enough with the current squad, and that is why they did not board anyone to strengthen the squad ahead of the coming season.

While some strong teams in the Premier League like Manchester United and Arsenal are trying to hire more players and get their teams improved, I think we shouldn't forget about teams like Fulham since they also had good performance in the last season and now it seems Fulham hired Emile Smith Rowe the player of Arsenal.
Emile Smith Rowe is a young player and he is only a 24-year-old player. Emile Smith Rowe started his career in Arsenal and now he left the team at Fulham. He signed a 5-year contract with Fulham and I think Arsenal will feel regret because of losing a player like Smith Rowe.

I am more confident that if Emile Smith Rowe joins Fulham, Arsenal will not regret it.
He has experienced a decline in performance since the last few seasons while Arsenal is currently building the club to be stronger after getting 2nd position in the points table and has the desire to win the premier league title with productive players.
ESR is no longer very productive so Arsenal has the urge to sell him.

A player's performance can improve if he is with the right club while Fulham is not better than Arsenal who have better quality coaches and experience.

You can see here for details of Emile Smith Rowe's career during his time with Arsenal.
https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/emile-smith-rowe/detaillierteleistungsdaten/spieler/392765
Their is no reason for arsenal to keep him because his performance is not affecting the club positively, so I think Arsenal won't have any regret for letting him. It will be better if the coach can bring quality players because this is all Arsenal needs to defeat team like Manchester City. Arsenal really needs to strengthen the team for the new season because in this season Manchester may not even be the only challenge they will. The game Arsenal lose to Aston Villa is what made them not to be able to achieve the tittle of the league.  They just need to try their best to have  a very tough squad.

Yes, the rumor is everywhere and I don’t think it will happened because of the money Napoli is demanding. For PSG and Chelsea to fail out of the deal, I don’t think Arsenal have the money to sign Osimhen, they are just showing their interest because they need striker before the end of the transfer window. Nevertheless, I don’t think he can as well be a good striker at Arsenal due to Arsenal’s style of play.

Ollie Watkins will actually do better at Arsenal because he has some Premier League experience already, but can Aston Villa let his go? I think no because they don’t have any plan to sign a striker soon.

That has been talked about a lot and yet some people still insist that Pochettino was a great manager before, so why would he be bad at Chelsea. It's simply sometimes misfit, not every manager could fit perfectly for every team, while they can be great at one team, they can be terrible at some other team, it's as simple as that.

We should be looking into what people will do, and how they will react, and keep them or fire them based on that. Pochettino was great before so they hired him based on that, but used the players terribly so he was fired because of it. I think this season they will be a bit better, not some amazing great manager now, still a bit question mark, but a change will do them some good in the end for a better future.

So far I like how Liverpool plays without Klopp, maybe this is still Klopp's work and for now Slot don't have a greater impact on the team, but so far I do not even rule out that Liverpool will be able to start this season well. If they can beat Arsenal, no matter that it is a friendly match, then this is a good indicator. And maybe Slot will become the discovery of this season and will be able to compete with Liverpool against City and Arsenal. At least Slot did not make any cardinal changes in the team, so we can see the same team.
Slot seems to be able to adapt easily to Liverpool after seeing them beat Arsenal, even though this is only a friendly match, it cannot be denied that Slot has found chemistry with Liverpool's players. Indeed, both teams have not fielded their best squads, but Liverpool are filled with more young players in the match, of course if Liverpool play with a complete squad, Liverpool's performance could be even better. I can't wait for the EPL league to start, because this season the potential to compete in the EPL league has changed besides Man City and Arsenal, Liverpool is also participating even though with a new coach, Liverpool's performance is still as strong as when coached by Klopp.

In this friendly match, Arsenal's attack line was a problem, even though they dominated the midfield. They looked hesitant and slow in attacking. Maybe this is what Arteta needs to fix before the league starts. I am also curious about Arne Slot's orientation at Liverpool at the end of this season, is it Possession Football or Ball Possesion?
What you said was very visible in that match, the Liverpool players seemed more free to play the ball and they were even able to make Arsenal have to work hard to score a goal in that match, although the friendly match did not reflect the true strength of the two teams because neither of them fielded the main players in that match, but as a new coach who had not adapted well to the English league, Arne Slot was able to show Liverpool's style of play which was attractive when attacking and very solid when defending so that the Arsenal players had difficulty getting an equalizer in that match.
I don't know whether Liverpool or Arne Slot are only able to talk a lot in friendly matches or whether they will bring a better team to compete in the Premier League next season, but Looking at their game when they beat Arsenal, I actually see that the attack applied by Arne Slot is skewed built through the midfielders and it is the same as Feyenoord's previous playing style, so I think if that is what Arne slot will implement next season in official matches then now they have to really improve the quality of their central midfielders.

I get your point and I have been thinking about it because some coaches would like to start up their own project and keep the previous manager's ideas off the team but it seems this man Slot is ok in continuing from where Klopp left it which to me I don't think is ok, imagine some players start falling out of line how can he hold the team together? He said it, he likes what Klopp have done and he would like to continue from where he (Klopp) stopped and that's what it looks like he's doing, if eventually he doesn't get in new players then we are only seeing the version 2 of Klopp's work at Liverpool.
Beating Arsenal doesn't show that Liverpool can dominate the Gunners when the time comes, fine Arteta lost the friendly game and without a better attacker doesn't mean they are going to let Liverpool step on them again and again, the next time Arsenal visit Liverpool or entertain the Reds I don't think I'd see the Gunners that lost 2-1 but a more vibrant team that's ready to go again for the title. But is not too far to test Slot's ability to manage a team as Liverpool, my question is, can the new boss of Liverpool do better than Klopp in his first season?🤔

I have been watching Smith Rowe closely while he was at Arsenal and he is actually quite a talented player but has been hampered by the tight competition to get many minutes. Occasionally I only see him come off the bench and I think players like him will start to get tired if they don't get certainty.

Here Fulham moved quickly to be able to move him from Arsenal and they got a player who was badly needed by the club. A 5-year deal is not bad and with this Smith Rowe will certainly be very happy because he will get more playing minutes and can be a mainstay for the club he plays for. I hope that he actually deserves to be at Arsenal and he should tell Mikel Arteta that the decision to let him go was a mistake.

Arne Slot may be luckier than Enzo Maresca and Ten Hag because his players are still able to perform optimally, the new season will be a challenge for Slot who has just taken over Liverpool, but it seems he will not experience any major obstacles.

2 interesting matches that are a little easy to predict and just to test your luck.

Nottingham vs Villarreal

Benfica vs Fulham

These four popular teams may just be an approach from the coach who wants to give opportunities to some young players who want to appear in this preseason match. But looking at the previous H2H match between Benfica and Fulham, both teams still have the same chance to score and I am sure both teams will use their respective main attacking players. So I choose BTTS to get a greater chance of winning.

And for the Nottingham vs Villarreal match, it is almost the same as the prediction above, but honestly I am a little doubtful about Nottingham who currently still looks weak in terms of player quality. Because when compared to Villarreal who currently still has much more qualified players. However, I try to have the confidence to believe that at least both teams will still score even though Nottingham will have difficulty scoring.

It turns out that it was not easy to predict the outcome here  Cheesy
Overall it's quite strange that in these two games only one goal was scored, but still these are friendly games so any result should have been expected (complete randomness). I still hold the opinion that in friendly games it is better not to bet or bet on the underdog (in this case it would be BTTS No).

Out of the 3 new promoted teams into the English Premier League, Ipswich Town has spent the most money in the transfer market to bolster up their squad currently. I think Ipswich Town might be one of the black horse to look for once the English Premier League season starts as they only lost 6 games in the English Championship League last season after 46 games played and they are the only team with the least losses among 24 teams on the table.

A bit surprised to see how Ipswich is really active in the summer window. Very nice to see Ipswich get some depth in at good value. I'm keen to see for a couple more big transfers in the next week though. We're still a few weeks away from the end of the summer window, and that's enough time to add more depth to Ipswich's squad.
Two days ago, Ipswich announced their sixth new signing, Conor Townsend. That looks impressive. It seems Ipswich is strengthening its squad. Their main goal is to stay in the EPL.

But we can't use Ipswich's Championship performance to guess their EPL form. For example, Burnley had a perfect season under Kompany. They were promoted to the EPL but were relegated back to the Championship.
Hopefully, Ipswich will manage to stay in the EPL much longer.
What is more surprising is how most of the teams has really strengthen up their team by buying good players this season. It would be a lot tougher for the top teams because most of the underdogs wont be underdogs anymore. Crystal palace is going to be on fire, Aston Villa has the plyers fit for the fight, also i wont forget Fulham and Southampton preparation as well. Am certain that Manchester City wont be able to win much of their matches this season if care is not taking. I dont see them winning the league at all. And with how Arsenal had played last season they are likely to be the only team that can withstand the pressure for the upcoming season. Since they have the best goal keeper and strong defense so far.

Ipswich Town with six signing for the season which would start soon enough. Thats a good one for the team. I know they came back into the league recently and they dont want to go out of the league anytime soon. If they play so well then there wont be relegation for them.
There is nothing unique in this transfer window that we haven't seen before. It's just the normal routine for clubs to strengthen their squad. I am just laughing when you said that Manchester City won't win most of their matches again this coming season. I want to ask what do you see that's making you think this way, for the past four seasons remember Manchester City has been winning the league, even though other clubs has been recruiting players during those times. Manchester City is not the trophy here,  so focusing much on Manchester City won't do any club any good, instead they should focus on stabilizing their squad. Do you also know the kind of improvement that Manchester City is doing on their own behind the scene. Manchester City will up their standard from what we saw last season as well. Despite the squad improvement that we are seeing other premier clubs doing, Manchester City still has a better chance of winning the league than any club in the premier league.

Well, if Pochettino is given time this season, of course we hope to see Chelsea in the top 4 or competing hard with Manchester City and Arsenal and that could happen.
But unfortunately management fired Pochettino which makes us doubt their progress this season. The reason I hesitate is because the players have to adapt again to the new style of play from their new coach, even though last season their game was very good.
Even though that's just my assumption, I hope that Chelsea can return to the top spot and play again in the Champions League. Let's wait and see whether Enzo Maresca will succeed in bringing significant changes to the team's progress or whether he will be fired again.
Enzo Maresca himself is trying to create such good changes at Chelsea and his fans have also begun to hope that what Enzo Maresca will do can provide much better results for Chelsea even though I myself still doubt what Enzo Maresca will achieve at Chelsea because the competition in the Premier League always looks fiercer and quite high. However, it is also very important for any party to give time to the new Chelsea coach because that has been the decision of Chelsea itself after firing Pochettino at the end of last season due to the less than impressive performance of the Chelsea team itself.
Whatever Enzo Maresca is doing at Chelsea now is definitely not the right thing to do based on the results from their preseason outing. If they put up this performance in their first match against Man City, then they will be giving Man City a chance to sit at the top of the league from the very beginning of the season and that is what I don't really like because it will discourage a lot of teams and make the entire season boring and less competitive like some leagues that people easily know the winner of the title from the first matches. I expect fierce competition this season just like we had last season so that any sides that eventually win the league will know they put a lot of efforts to get it.

I agree with you to an extent, in as much as pre-season are not considered as serious games,Chelsea is not putting up good play as a team, with what I have observed and seen so far, Chelsea will not get a good result in their encounter with Manchester city,  for now I reserve some comments untill the season starts fully before I can say anything but reacting to what you said, let it be that what Enzo Maresca is doing with his team is a preseason joke if not, it will be very difficult for Chelsea the pride of London this coming season, let me also state it categorically that even though Manchester City win Chelsea in their first match of the season it doesn't mean that they won't lose any match again neither is it a trophy win for them,  Manchester City is very good team know doubt, are you trying to say that Manchester city defeating chelasea will determine  the fate of other football teams in the English premiership in the new season, personally I feel that anyone can be at the top of league table in the beginning of the season but that doesnt mean that they have won the trophy, for the past few seasons, Arsenal has always been at the top but at the end they won't still lift the trophy, there are more football tasty teams that are coming from relegation and i believe some of them wont like going back to where they are coming from, so with my observation I see a highly competitive season ahead in the English premiership.

I don't think the coach of the Reds Arne Slot would be pleased with the kind of performance they had against Arsenal, if he is ok with everything in that game then Liverpool are going to find it hard to get the team play as a unit and get better results when it comes to the big 6 teams in the EPL and the clubs in the champions league. To me I don't see anything special about the Liverpool side, let's forget the fact that Arteta and his boys was joking about the game, Liverpool need to identify their problem before it becomes too late for the team and they haven't gotten any player in this transfer window, seems they don't feel like adding any new player to the squad but someone might leave Liverpool soon.
