I totally agree with you. I also personally think that if a team wants good results, the role of the coach is more important than the players. If the coach is not experienced, it is not possible for any team to achieve good results in the long run. As an example we can look at the PSG team. In the last few years we have seen that PSG's squad has been very strong. But they did not have an experienced coach. So despite having a very strong squad, PSG can't do well.

On the other hand, last season we saw the performance of the Leverkusen team. Leverkusen did not have any star players in their squad. The squad was also not very strong. But they had an experienced and hardworking coach like Xabi Alonso. So this team was able to perform well in the entire season.

Extending the contract of Erling halaand at Manchester city is actually a logical thing to do bro, he would certainly not be short of suitors if they allow his contract to run down, knowing fully well that almost all the top teams in Europe would give anything in terms of offers just to acquire his services, when they know very well that he will definitely deliver goals in any team he plays, because he is actually a top goal poacher, so for Manchester city to extend his contract while making him the club top earner is a logical thing to do, to give his potential suitors less hope of acquiring his services.

I think the coach has to be more responsible than the players to win the match in football. Game planning is very important to win matches, which is done by a coach. Here the players are only part of the plan. But I am not saying that even if the players have no contribution to win the match. Players also have to fulfill a big responsibility to win the match. But the biggest game is played by a coach off the field. If a coach fails then it is almost impossible for the team to be consistent. One thing I always say, a good coach can do great things with a bad player. Because a good coach can tailor his players and play according to his needs. But an incompetent coach cannot do much with a skilled player. Because the coach is the biggest player and the player is the puppet of the coach. In this case there should be good relationship and good understanding between a coach and players.

Manchester United is having bad start to season. If they keep losing they will probably struggle at the end too. Coach Erik Ten Haag had chance to make team better with new players but it has not worked yet. They do not look good right now but I think players can improve if they try harder. Coach needs to think of a new plan and make some changes to the team. If they do this they can still finish high in the league. It's not too late to fix their season.
