Before Chelsea's match against Celtic started, I predicted that Chelsea would potentially lose because I saw Celtic's match against Manchester City and to be honest, I was amazed by Celtic's achievements, especially in terms of attack, and against Manchester City, of course we saw how strong Celtic were, of course. indicating that Celtic's strength cannot be underestimated.

Now of course we have seen the results of the match and Chelsea were forced to swallow the bitter pill in that match because they lost with a score of 1-4 and of course we will not know about Chelsea's real strength in the coming season and of course now Maresca's task must be correct. really improving the Chelsea squad well and of course I see that the back line, midfield and front still need to be improved.

Will Manchester United still be looking for who to blame their lack of form on?
The problem is these guys claim to be Man UTD but they aren't united in anyway and I hope ETH is taking note, the fans ain't happy to see their team losing games when we have about 2 weeks before the new campaign begins, something positive need to happen and the team is not even convincing to say they can do well next season.

Chelsea less than optimal result against Celtic in a friendly match has raised doubts about Enzo Maresca ability to manage Chelsea. The players were not well coordinated, the defense was very easy for Celtic players to penetrate. I don't think Celtic is weaker than Chelsea because they are currently managed by Brendan Rodgers who is a former Liverpool manager. Chelsea previously also achieved less than satisfactory results from a team from the Welsh League (Wrexham).

Improved performance was highly anticipated after the change of coach, but Chelsea performance is still far from what was expected. Enzo Maresca must work harder in concocting Chelsea to find the right formation, the increasingly tough competition in the EPL means he must be able to make Chelsea perform better when still handled by Pochettino.

I also think Chelsea played poorly against Celtic and did not meet my expectations too. They struggled to work together and had weaknesses in defense making it easy for Celtic to win. Although preseason games are for trying new things and building teamwork Chelsea performance was still disappointing. But it is good to see their coach Enzo Maresca trying to create new style of play. I think they will get better in future games. With more time and practice Chelsea can find their rhythm and become a strong team again.

It was definitely a rumor, immediately I saw the reports of him being linked with the job i wasn’t too surprised because he is the best in the business at the moment and every available coach for his role will have to include his name, but knew right away that’s Guardiola isn’t going to just sign for England even though he leaves Manchester city because they don’t seem to be playing his football. Guardiol can only manage national teams like Brazil and Spain and not England. Also at the moment I think Pep doesn’t seems to have find anywhere he can go from Manchester city at the moment, because he is very much welcomed in the club, he is europe highest paid manager so why change if not just have challenge.

This squad is definitely a very young squad and also has many squad, even though it is not good to judge the team performances on pre season matches I think Maresca will struggle first before getting a balance from the team, better he does that In the pre season matches now before the season starts

It looks like the season will be of headaches for Chelsea fans:

Even though it was a friendly match, losing in such a humiliating way is not a good thing, especially because they lost against an opponent who beat Manchester City, but in the match against Manchester City they scored 4 goals and conceded 3 goals, while Chelsea only managed to score 1 and conceded 4 goals. In the last friendly match that Chelsea played, they were unable to win, even playing against a weak opponent. These friendlies are a good opportunity for coaches to experiment a lot, to come up with good strategies, which is why getting good results in these matches is a good thing. But some coaches don't give importance to friendlies

And when the serious matches start, you notice that the players are out of rhythm and out of coordination, it takes them many rounds to start playing well. But if they had played in friendlies they wouldn't have these problems. In my opinion, despite Chelsea having made a lot of signings, I don't see them finishing in the top 4 this season that is about to start. I see them fighting to stay away from the relegation zone.

Pep Guardiola has to be one of the most intelligent managers of the modern day football if you ask me and that's because of how he manages to handle questions thrown at him by the media. When I read his recent interview where he suggested that he might extend his contract at Manchester City contrary to what many people in the media thinks of him, my respect for the Spanish manager increased the more. His statement in may that he was closer to leaving was misconstrued by the press which is why he had to explain it in his recent interview.
Though he had in the past said he'll remain with Manchester City regardless of the outcome of financial charges against the club I think weren't serious statements because I don't see a Pep Guardiola managing a club that's not participating in the top flight

Maintaining Balance would obviously be key during these times, the good thing about Unai Emery is that, he has enough experience of what it means to be in the Champions League and at the same time in the Premier League Competition. He one time managed Arsenal in the Premier League Competition and also he would do same thing for Aston Villa.

I don't know what it'll be like for them at the end of next season but it all depends on the sqaud depth available. hopefully, they're not affected with a lot of players Injured due to too many games.
The Champions League Competition would be great to have them, if my brain serves me right, then I believe they're also one time Champions League winners.

The answer is yes, because Aston Villa have found an equal replacement and Unai Emery's observation is no doubt for the readiness of his squad for next season. Both the EPL and the champions league will remain high standards for him and Unai Emery does not want to lower his standards and wants more than what he achieved last season.

The problem of challenges will certainly always surround him and I think with everything he got in the summer it should not be a hindrance and instead make it easier for him to play every match in different competitions. I don't want to expect too much for the champions league and as long as they are not in the group of death with other strong teams then their path will be easy to the next round.

Aston Villa has signed 8 players so far. I think they’re the only club to have spend more on signings in the EPL in the current transfer window. Emery is building a team that can compete in all fronts. He’s been given all enough funds to spend considering their qualification to the UCL. The recruitments they have made so far are good. Good ages and the right experiences. That’s exactly what is needed considering the fact that they’ll be participating in a lot of competitions next season.

Emery has been there before, he knows European football so I think he’ll manage the team well and retain their spot in the league table to make the UCL qualification another season. With the way they’re strengthening their squad, I tip them to make the top 4 next season.

Maybe I missed the information, regarding Pep Guardiola's demands to his club. but if we talk about Pep's recent statement, from my point of view, Pep can leave as he said. but he did not rule out signing a new contract with City, maybe he can extend one or two seasons ahead. the point is, Pep will not continue to handle City. as reported by Romano, Pep said that after eight years with City, he will not stay for the next eight years. besides, there is nothing wrong with his statement. if Pep stays with City for a long time, it is his decision even though he previously said closer to leaving.

Pep Guardiola has a point by saying that, he will definitely be limited to signing players and have to work with the players from the country regardless of how their performance is. He is a very good coach and wouldn’t want what he has fought for all his life to just be attached to something not nice to hear. You could be right and that could be the reason why he hasn’t been straightforward about his next decision on his managerial role in Manchester City. Managing a team facing those series of challenges could be difficult for him, so he’ll rather leave the club and join another one. Even through he leaves, I don’t think the tough competition in the premier league will be reduced, it’ll still be as competitive as always.
