There's a lot more controversy on social media especially Fabrizio Romano keeps revealing what the Manchester City players are talking about, and it's dividing Arsenal and Liverpool, while Arsenal have never won this is clearly a provocation... I know it's still a heated situation on the pitch.

https://x.com/fabrizioromano/status/1838105197391872211?s=

Bernardo Silva said that in the post match conference so it’s not like Fabrizio Romano gave us a spoiler. I don’t usually watch the post match interviews but I saw the post on twitter and felt very uncomfortable about Bernardo’s comment about facing Arsenal. I don’t think he said that to show respect to Liverpool, I felt like he was trying to downplay Arsenal’s performance at Etihad.

I must admit Arsenal's defece was so amazing. Though their attackers were so garbage, this was because their two goals were coming from their defensive players. Their attackers were contributed nothing in this game. But i cant' really say they're much better than their form last season.

This is because they're yet winning the title. This means if they have not yet improved. Their offensive much more aggresive last season than this time.

For me, i would rate them have improved compared to the last season if they win a title.
It is not easy to face Manchester City with all the strength and mentality of the players and also the manager (Pep Guardiola). And I think the Arsenal players have given their all to continue playing organized. I salute Arteta who continues to build the squad even though he has not been able to win the Premier League title. We must realize that in the last few seasons The Gunners have indeed become serious challengers and maybe this season they will get their target even though it is difficult.
Arsenal in this match actually died well in the first round they could compensate for resistance from Man City and Arsenal in front of 1-2. But after they got a red card and had to play with ten Arsenal people who were overwhelmed by Man City attacks. Arsenal is better this season than last season if from Permian troops they only need to continue to be consistent to continue to compete with Man City until the end of the season.

But clearly this fight is very interesting and tense can be seen from the unique moments of the two coaches caught on camera in this fight. Pep Gurdiola was angry and kicked his chair, Arteta covered his face because of frustration in a big battle between Man City and Arsenal. In my opinion this is a good result for Arsenal, because it is not easy when they have to play against 11 people while they have to play with 10 people. Still Lucky Arsenal is not inferior to this fight, because Arsenal played with 10 people from the beginning of the second half.

Goodnight, o_e_l_e_o 🌹
I am neither a Manchester city fan nor an Arsenal fan, but the match between Manchester City and Arsenal that ended in draw was not pleasant to me. I feel that football isn't fair to Arsenal. Arsenal deserved 3 points and I strongly feel they were robbed or football isn't fair with the.

We could say it's football, but I really felt bad at Trossard's second yellow, followed by a red card. That is not a type of match to be giving uncertain yellow cards. This was just a good win for Arsenal but it's unfortunate it didn't happen.

A good time to end City's dominance of the EPL. It's funny how Manchester City might get the title again this season.

I agree if you say that Arsenal are better this season and I think it's not just because Arsenal's defense is playing well but overall Arsenal's team play is well organized in all lines and also they play much more disciplined now.
The draw in this match was a bit disappointing for Arsenal because Manchester City's reply goal was created at the end of the match but if we look at the overall result of a draw for Arsenal who played at Manchester City's home and played with 10 players since the beginning of the second half is already a pretty good result.
Manchester City escaped losing when they struggled all through the second half to thrash Gunners in the second halve, equaling points was basic and important but on the other hand, it was really consider tough. Describing the performance of Arsenal in Etihad stadium yesterday, I would say they were magnificent, though the red card issued to Leandro Trossard weaken the attack line of Gunners and the defendlines was absolutely disrupt by the Citizens. Pep Guardiola planned his tactics and making it worked do require more efforts from the players. I'm proud of Gunners, it they continue their consistent streaks towards winning, they're already won the big odds of becoming competitive this season, it's just about time to watch Gunners lifting the English Premier League title in Emirate stadium under Mikel Arteta.
At some point Arsenal could have won the match, but it appeared that biased in favor of Manchester City, making it hard for Arsenal to come out on top. Still, kudos to Arsenal for playing with so much heart. so, massive credit to Arteta and the team for their determination and resilience. Every season, Arsenal fans hope to see their team lift the Premier League title. Arsenal is a strong team, and hopefully, this season, they’ll achieve something big.
Not only man city, but Arsenal have stronger rivals, they are Liverpool.  Arsenal are quite a strong team and they have played very well in the past and are still playing very well and they are on the same points as Liverpool in the points table.  And since the Premier League has started for a short time, only a few matches have been played so far, so there are many more matches to be played.  So if Arsenal can continue to play well then they will be doing well.  And they can make you compete with Man City

At least Arsenal got a point even though only 1 point was achieved, and it is not easy to match Man City at home because we know that Man City is too strong to play at home, so it is natural that in this match Arsenal expects a draw because it will make it easier for Arsenal in the next match to find full points in the next matches, if they lose then it will be difficult for Arsenal in the future and Arsenal's position will be further away from the top of the Premier League standings.

Arsenal's 1 point at home to Manchester City is enough for them. Arsenal only managed to get points in this match because of their match strategy. There is no doubt that Arsenal's match strategy was very good. Arteta was well aware that Guardiola's Manchester City would play an all-attacking strategy at home. And with this aspect in mind, Arteta has developed his match strategy.

Manchester City played attacking from the start of the match. Manchester City made 33 shots in the entire match. City players have 78% ball possession. and made 11 on target shots. The match was largely dominated by the City players. On the other hand, the target of Arsenal players was to score from the counter attack. And they succeeded. Arsenal players made only 4 shots in the entire match. And they succeeded in scoring two goals. City players dominated the whole match but they did not get the expected result.
If you think Arsenal is stronger than Manchester, you are right but that is not the case.  Yes you are absolutely right because Manchester hard work and pace is better than Arsenal. And Manchester has also scored two goals in this match of their strength and effort and has drawn the match. Manchester have played well and strongly away from home and Arsenal have been really good but they haven't been able to match the way you are talking about their strength. But there was some hope that Arsenal would lose the match but they did not succeed and the match was draw and they attack like that in most of the matches and start with themselves so they don't have to face problems in the end. If Manchester had more shots, they would have scored more goals, but Arsenal only allowed two goals and Arsenal only allowed two goals from Manchester. And how could they meet while both are equally dominating each other in the match.

The match against Arsenal has a victim that it is confirmed Rodri gets the injury and it is thought that he has an ACL injury and as far i know ACL injury takes months to gets recover and i think if this really happend then this could be a big lost for Manchester City because just like we all know Rodri position in Manchester City is irreplaceable and we can see it based on his statistics for each season that Guardiola always be rely on him for defensive midfielder position

Luckily Manchester City has Gundogan who bought from Barcelona this summer so he can be played as defensive midfielder to replace Rodri position and i think Gundogan quality too equal to Rodri and Guardiola still waiting the current condition of Rodri and he still hopes Rodri will not gets long term injury

It is unusual for Arteta to apply a different pattern even though the other is Manchester City, Arsenal always carries the philosophy of attacking football. Maybe if there were no players who were injured, the situation would be different. Apart from having Odgaard, Merino can also be relied on with his stability and maturity. The point you said is quite reasonable, Arteta doesn't want to lose points in this match so he considers other aspects. The result is quite satisfying by sharing points. Although I was a little annoyed, especially in the second half, City locked Arsenal. Based on statistics, it is clear that City dominated the game, especially in the second half. Arsenal were unable to escape the pressure, it is natural that they played with ten players. One more thing, it is very unfortunate that in the transfer window yesterday Arteta did not bring in a pure striker who can be relied on to score goals consistently. In addition, in this match there were two Arsenal players who seemed to have problems. Calafiori and Timber seemed to have problems, I hope they don't enter the treatment room. IMO, in the match against City, Arteta has a lot of lessons to learn in the future to prepare his team when they host City later at the Emirates. in the next match, I hope Arsenal can appear by giving an epic fight. plus, all Arsenal players recover from their injuries.

Last night's game was so tight (Man City v Arsenal)... Some say Trossard's second yellow card shouldn't have happened and this is a controversy in the media, maybe they are not willing to be rewarded with a second yellow card to red.

What would have happened if Arsenal had played the full game without a red card? Maybe the Gunners would have won as an away game.

We know Manchester City in the second half did a lot of this attack taking advantage of Arsenal's limping situation, so it's natural that the result is a draw... Actually I'm sure Arsenal are not willing to concede in the last minute.
It was a crazy game an I think a draw was the deserved result for the most part.

I think the biggest winner of this weekend was Aston Villa. But keep in mind they didn't play their best game.
Yeah deserved for Manchester City but not for Arsenal in the 90+8th minute is a time that could have been saved, this is unlucky for Arsenal... So they're like really stressed.

I came across some amusing facts that surfaced after the end of the 5th round of the EPL. Here are the most interesting ones, in my opinion:

Brentford is the first team in Premier League history to score in the first minute of two consecutive matches and lose both games.
Jurrien Timber and Kai Havertz are the first players in Premier League history to play more than 89 minutes in a match without completing a single accurate pass.

Interesting fact, Brentford couldn't do anything even though they created chances to win in the early stages of the match. That's because they played away + they played against strong teams (Manchester City & Tottenham Hostpur). I think with this fact we can make a reference in the future, when Brentford score again in the early minutes of another match, it's a sign that they will lose that match, LOL.

And about Jurrien Timber & Kai Havertz, I'm not really aware of what they're doing, where did you get this data from?

The idea of Haaland becoming rude with pride is disgusting these days. First after they scored luckily in the last minute, he threw the ball on Gabriel's head, and I think that was an offensive thing to do. And after the game ended and everyone was saying goodbye, he told Mikel Arteta to stay humble. Sometimes I wonder if he thinks he is better than all the players that existed before him who had so many victories, yet they have not shown this type of arrogance. They celebrated like they won the league just because they luckily saw a draw game at the end.
His brain will be cooled down if he receives a strict punishment from referees and FA. It's surprise that with this situation, throwing a ball directly to Arsenal defender, Haaland did not get a single yellow card. He deserves to get at least a yellow card with that unnecessary stupid foul but maybe referee and VAR team did not want to do this because they wanted to protect Manchester City.

But I believe that soon, Haaland will learn a hard lesson with his rude because not only Arsenal but other teams and media will make noise, create pressure and referees, FA will no longer let such fouls go easily without any punishment on Haaland.

I agree with you, Jackson had an outstanding performance against West Ham, scored two goals and provided one assist. West Ham is a weak team this season, with defeats in three of their five games; I am only happy with Chelsea's victory against them, and I do not believe Chelsea will do better than that against any top team.

On the other hand, Jackson was quite good against West Ham, he didn't miss chances as usual
Chelsea decided to sign a new long contract with Jackson in surprise of all, because the player did not play too impressive for them in the past season. I was surprised too but latest performances of Jackson for Chelsea in this season shock me more. I did not expect him to play too well like this and Chelsea possibly are very happy with their decision with Jackson's contract.

A wonderful performance form the Jackson by secure two goals in the first half and even the entire player’s have show up good performances against west ham, this show that Chelsea want to embark their performances they don’t want what happened for them last season should repeat him self again this season; and that’s they try as much as possibly to put much efforts in every of their match to bring out a positive result.

As it stand now Chelsea are leading west ham by three goals after Jackson secured the first half with perfectly presented, it will good if the Chelsea can keep up this performances they will not have much challenge anymore, but their problems is lack of inconsistent: now that even Chelsea are make proud of them when the league gone far now they will begin performing poorly, but for now their performances is much better.

I agree with you, Jackson had an outstanding performance against West Ham, scored two goals and provided one assist. On the other hand, Jackson was quite good against West Ham, he didn't miss chances as usual, and some Chelsea fans are still not happy with Jackson's performance since they want their striker to be consistent in each game, and after their amazing performance against West Ham, some Chelsea fans think they were lucky not to sign Osimehn this season because Jackson scored two goals and one assist, and they believe he's on the same level as Osimehn.

In addition, Chelsea will host Brighton next weekend, Brighton is a team that hasn't lost a single game this season, they have drawn with Arsenal and defeated Manchester United, If Chelsea can defeat Brighton, which has been playing at its best for the past two seasons, I have no doubts about them finishing in the top four this season.

This result has made a statement to all premier league team, that Arsenal can be very strong when they want to be defensive, infact the hold the best defensive record in the premier league, and I would have been more delighted if they had hold on to those three points and not allow Mancity score in the last minute, but I won't blame them because they were tired, since they were short of one player,it makes the work load to increase and especially when city were all out to score them.
By now,City will be more scared of Arsenal because they are more dangerous than they thought.
That's exactly what everyone said about Arsenal because Arsenal were able to make a more solid defense even though they were only ten men since entering the second half of the match. I was also quite impressed with Arsenal because their players were not nervous at all when Manchester City had quite a lot of the ball and if only one of Arsenal's players had not been sent off, I don't think the match would have been a draw. But for now everyone has also seen that Arsenal are starting to be much better than they did last season.

The funny thing is that he has just one UCL trophy and a few Premier League trophies in his closet and he feels he has arrived. What of players like Messi and Ronaldo who have lots of trophies and have broken greater records than him, yet they stay humble? I think this should be addressed quickly because I was angry when I saw this. The lack of respect for Arsenal's coach is what annoys me the most.

What Arteta said was true, with 10 Arsenal players defending tirelessly, maintaining the compactness in the defense line so that I appreciate Arsenal for being able to survive throughout the second half even though in the final seconds they had to concede a goal, in fact we can see Manchester City dominating the match without giving Arsenal a chance to attack but the pressure after pressure was difficult to penetrate the defense indicating that Arsenal was extraordinary. Manchester City failed to get 3 points at home is still a loss. I mean little by little Arteta began to understand how to make Manchester City overwhelmed.

Both teams played very well in the first half. And the match was very competitive. Players from both teams have attempted to score. And at the end of the first half, Arsenal was leading 2-1, and Arsenal striker Trossad received a red card.

It was a big challenge for Arsenal to counter City's attack with 10 players. So in the second half Arsenal players did not make any attempt to attack or score. In the second half, Arsenal's players had only 12% of the ball possession and only one shot. Arsenal wanted to finish the match 2-1. But Manchester City scored in second half injury time to equalize the match. Otherwise the match would have ended 2-1.

Arsenal managed to hold Manchester City to a draw even though they lost 1 player in at the end of the first half and they started the second half with only 10 players I think this is a fair result for both of them because they are equally strong this season but I have to admit Arsenal's defense is quite strong even though they don't dominate the ball much compared to Manchester City but the Man City players looked very frustrated because the match was very fierce even Arsenal had a 2 goal lead in the first half but in the end Manchester City scored the final goal created by John Stones and finally managed to get 1 point.

Source: Man City and Arsenal Statistics
like arteta said, it's a miracle that arsenal defended up untill the last minute that Manchester City scored that goal. let's forget about the statistics and the possession of the ball and even the numerous corners that man city had. The resilience and the discipline of the arsenal team is what needs to be applauded. If they allowed the pressure on them to force them into launching an attack against man city, it would have been easy to break that defense wall and hit them quite early into the second half.

It seems to me that City should have taken advantage of the fact that they were attacking non-stop throughout the second half, but the problem was that they were doing it in a very straightforward manner, I think they should have tried not only to shoot from afar but also to combine attacks with crosses or runs deep into the penalty area. But that's easy to say, but to do it against such a dense defense was apparently very difficult, and although Arteta's idea almost worked, it looked terrible, Arsenal stood at the goal with the whole team, such a sight...
Arsenal who came to the Etihad Stadium in a limp team condition, are actually not favorites to be able to get a draw let alone win in the match, but what we see is that Manchester City has to struggle to get a draw let alone beat Arsenal in the match, to be honest, the match is actually very interesting with the two teams each other attack although Manchester City was able to dominate the match,  the ridiculous red card and also unfair in my opinion ruined the game, in second half Arsenal were no longer focused on scoring and they were just trying to maintain their win throughout the second half, losing 1 player made Arsenal defend completely with almost all their players in defence and obviously made the game very boring, I think in a big match like that the match, the referee should be fair to both teams and not even ruin the match, but even so, congralations for Arsenal who managed to win 1 point although they lost one the of players in the match.
