What's wrong with Man. United and Liverpool? It's a loss with a big number of conceded goals. Which one is the problem, on the strategy or the quality of players? I think this matchday is the worse day for these two clubs. I can understand if Man United can be defeated by Tottenham, but really surprised to see what's happening with Liverpool. They won the trophy in the last season, mate!! Do they lose motivation to play?  Huh

Poch would be good at Chelsea or Man Utd, don’t forget he didn’t have a huge transfer budget at Spurs but still took them to the CL Final. He’d probably be really good at a club with money.

My opinion on Pep is I think he’ll move on after this season regardless, he never stays at the same club for too long.

I agree with, Pochetino would be a good manager for Man Utd, he would fit in just fine and he has shown that he can work and develop the team through the years which is exactly what Man Utd needs. I love Ole, but he is limited as a coach and I hope he gets sacked asap. He should've been sacked a long time ago.

Manchester United's very bad appearance right now, it was time for Ole to be fired, I agree that Pochetino is the right choice to replace coach Ole.
I believe that Pochetino's ability can make Manchester United back into the strongest team in the Premier League again. Although no Manchester
United coach is as good as Ferguson, at least Pochetino's experience who led the spurs at that time with a limited transfer budget, able to make
tottenham qualify for the 2018/2019 Champions League final, although in the end Tottenham lost to Liverpool and failed to become champions.

I'm way ahead of myself, predicting a match that'll take place in one week, but after the Liverpool vs Aston Villa disaster, I reckon that Everton will win the match against Liverpool, because they've been at least one goal ahead of all the other teams they played against in the EPL, Liverpool will be without Sadio Mane for the next few games, and he at least scored 3 goals in the 2020/2021 EPL season so far. Liverpool is having problems with Firmino, he's not scoring any goals at all. He probably won't score a goal against Everton either. And third, deflected shots keep coming at Adrian which he can't save.

This match is looking grim for Liverpool.
I agree with you, for the fact that Sadio Mane will be absent, his absent had greatly shown a hilarious disaster on the Liverpool, I don't know about Fermino present way of scoring but I'm pretty sure he may have a chance to hit the net, I expect Everton in winning the game with total goals of +2, actually, Everton had been doing pretty well in Goodison Park from the starting of the season.
I will also be taking my prediction to be EVE 3:1 LIV
NotATether, glad you already aware that you maybe way ahead of yourself by predicting the result of the match that will kick off on the 17th of this month and I think what happened in this season premier league matchday 1-4 is enough to make us understand that this year league is full of surprises. However, Sunday lost is enough lesson for Liverpool and I'm sure they won't want such an occasion to happen again.

City results are disappointing, unless they succeed to get EPL + CL, I don't think Pep will stay in City. Of course probability this happens is very weak taking on consideration the actual performance and results  Undecided
Pep time at City is over the tactics are no longer working even John.  stoneis back to the starting eleven to show how average and poor the pep side has been this season

It is still too late for the season to end. As a fan of Man City, I hope they do something good in this EPL. The EPL's journey is still long way off.
There are rumors that Messi will come to Man City next season. If Messi comes then I think Pep will stay in Man City. His relationship with Messi is very sweet. They will want to win the CL title together.

It is a pity that he did not move to Man City immediately after the defeat by Bayern, the only good thing is that we will see two kings again in the group stage of the Champions League. I'm a fan of Guardiola, especially with the relationship with Messi, they will be able to do a lot together if a transfer happens.
Just so there is no conflict with Aguero, the two of them a fantastic duo in attack.

I think Poch will do way better as a manager at Chelsea than United imo.  And Chelsea does have the better squad at their disposal.  I fancy a more possible CL win with Poch at Chelsea than being at United.

Anyway, what do you guys think of Pep at City...?  Days numbered?  Cheesy  I don't think his contract will be extended.  And I think Bielsa is gonna be the next City manager.  Both they're contracts at their respective clubs will end on 2021.

@EdenHazard I don’t know about others but as a Manchester United fan I’m happy to give Ole few more matches to save his job, but if in the next few matches Manchester United fails to win convincingly then he needs to be sacked. Furthermore the big question is will the board sack him immediately if results don’t improve, I fear that they’ll not because in Ole they have a manager who doesn’t criticise them, and they can totally control what he says. Lastly the only possible scenario where I see him getting sacked is where it becomes absolutely clear, that Manchester United won’t qualify for the champions league, till then he won’t be sacked.

The odds says it all, pochettino getting closer to united.

Even though yeah noone can make this sure except for fabrizio romano  Cheesy.
Well whatever it is , in case ole will stay .. it makes bookmakers to underestimate him even more no matter they have signed some players to add some more power and united as a team which i believe in every Manchester United matches the odds will be higher than usual , let's hope for ole making surprise this season and we'll get constant high odds for Manchester United  Grin , taking advantage in this situation... that's what i like about sportsbetting. All the way against the odds.
As a Chelsea fan I advice you to play maxbet on Ole securing his job till next season he was not backed during the transfer season so there is no pressure on him to perform miracle with average team, his only objective is to make top 4. The only coach on the lifeline is Lampard he was well backed there's no excuses

Weird to see Liverpool leading when it comes to goals conceded. Sure, most goals come from that unbelievable match against Aston Villa. But last season their good defense was one of their strengths. While they conceded 33 goals during the whole last season and kept 15 clean sheets, they are now at 11 goals already. And we just finished match day four ...

Are the players too tired after that long last season with a lot of matches in a short period of time or what's the reason? The players are the same as last season ....
Liverpool did not play a good defensive game for a very long time. They were terrible in defense after corona break last season as well but we all wrote that off as a consequence of having such big lead and then being crowned a winner. Basically had nothing to play for in those games at the end of season. Seems like the problems are a bit bigger than that and hopefully they will snap out of it and start playing serious defense soon.

But when you look players in their back 4, yes Robetson and Arnold are best full back in the world but that is because of attacking part of their play. Robertson is solid in defense and Arnold is a weak link on top level. Van Dijk is proven class but second central back is also a problem. So I am actually more surprised with all those clean sheets and I think they were more a result of great defensive play in midfield and high pressing then the guys in the back. Just my 2 cents.

In 29 matches before the Corona break, they conceded 21 goals, so an average of around 0.72 goals per game. In the remaining 9 matches, 12 more goals where added to the list, making it around 1.33 goals per match post-Corona. So they definitely lost their form during the break but seeing the last season as a whole their defensive game was pretty good imho. You are even confirming it yourself when you say that they had a great defensive play in midfield.

I am sure the team wants to show an reaction now. Especially when the next match is against Everton. With Everton in a good form right now and Liverpool keen to make amends for their last performance that's gonna be an interesting match.

It depends on the form of the players. Mane for example to me has lost form or is losing form compared to two years ago. We don't expect players form to continue for long because they get older as the day goes.

Dude, where have you been? Mane is probably our best player atm. He’s 28, right in the absolute peak of his career. He’s quick, strong, powerful, he has an incredible first touch, his finishing is world class. I don’t know what you’re seeing but I see one of the very best players in the world.
I agree I don't think Mane has lost his form. He is still crucial for Liverpool, you find him in defence then in the attack, fighting for the ball and scoring. In fact his absence in the last game was one of the many reasons LFC was beaten by 7 and scoring only 2 goals... Salah was kind of obliged to go back to defence several times and this exhausted him for sure, although he managed to score 2 goals.

I think that one player can't make a big change in football, but to see it with his ass, Salah was in the mood but he can't do it alone. He fulfilled Salah's defensive tasks well, even in attack. Firmino is a rare player who, when he comes under pressure, goes all the way to take the ball, that is a great feature, but not for a striker.

I can't believe yesterday when I saw the score in the match Aston Villa - Liverpool. I even walked closer to the screen and rubbed my eyes. What was that? An amazing season in the Premier League. Very amazing.

it was just one game.
Liverpool has proven itself that it is the best team in the league. They had bad luck in the game against Aston Villa and they conceded so many goals because of their defensive problems.
You will never see that again in the future especially in Liverpool's games. It was one time show...
Every season, things change and this is the reason why it has been very hard to replicate the same form in the previous year. Liverpool this season will not perform the way they did last season. It is very clear now that mane has been instrumental toward many of their success including that guy at their right back. Many of the clubs are used to their players and style of play so it is just like repeating and playing with same squad and formation all the time.

I agree, the same team might not be able to perform at the same.
However, there cannot be such difference between two consecutive seasons. Mane is the vital player of the team and he can score the same goals as last year if he is healthy and will not be injured...

It depends on the form of the players. Mane for example to me has lost form or is losing form compared to two years ago. We don't expect players form to continue for long because they get older as the day goes.

If the favorites show an unstable game, then Everton has a chance to become the champion, but I think soon everything will work out and everyone will take their places.
Losing one match is not going to do any thing with championship hopefully in coming matches we are going to watch some very exciting soccer from top class clubs and Everton is not going to win this league as they are good right now but still not capable of wining they need some good time Derby match is going to be very good and Liverpool will fight back.
