And it was impossible for WestHam to turn the tides. Maresca constructed his team very well from the back upwards. The goal keeper is very intelligent. You may not see it, but some effective counter attacks were initiated by him. He's noticed that the WestHam defenders are slow to return to their side and he initiated fast counters that beats their awareness.

The defense should be congratulated for their resilience and reading the every moves of the WestHam offensive. Caicedo was a beast and Cucurella was indispensable. I've not enjoyed Cucurella's play like I did today.

Although Jackson's goals were very brilliant and classy, I still have a strong feeling that the man of the match was wrongly given today. It's between Caicedo and Cucurella. Those guys saved the defense a lot of trouble.

Match is over, congratulations to the Chelsea team as they make their way to the second place on the table temporarily. More Victories awaits them if they continue playing with such confidence and increase their pressure on opponents.

FT! Chelsea wins. My thoughts on this game so far

1. Caicedo is so amazing; he is so perfect in the game, and is Kante wearing his shirt? Cheesy

He deserves MOTM.

2. Jackson looks even more confident with his finishing; he looks so calm and deadly.

3. Palmer is good today. It's satisfying to watch him run faster than his teammates. What a runner!

4. Medueke is so selfish in this game. I have no comment for him. He needs to get rid of his ego.

5. Tosin is very solid after being paired with colwill.

Glad to see that Chelsea is now finally stepping up. They perform even better by winning all of their away games. And their coach, Maresca, is recording the same achievement as what pep did. Winning first three away games.

It is a bad record for West Ham, they have now lost three consecutive games that they have played at home, the coach will not be comfortable because if he continues like this, his Job is at stake. For Chelsea, another away win for Enzo Maresca and they look to be picking up speed as Chelsea is in second in the premier league table which is a position that they have not been in in a very long time. Nicholas Jackson would maybe have gotten a hat-trick in the game if he had stayed on, but I understand the substitution to bring in Nkunku and Felix, to give them time to play too, and keep the healthy competition in the team going. It is also a good record for Chelsea that they were able to win the game by so many goals and still maintaining clean sheets, this season is already looking very good for Chelsea.

Well at moment Chelsea are on a good stride, and I think Sancho influence on the game is something to look out although most times Chelsea can be surprising but Jackson scoring two goals is something and sign that maybe the club is actually heading somewhere because that boy really needs a miracle to boost his goal scoring confidence and moral back.

I am even surprised West Ham didn't see any goals in this their match. Sincerely the first goal scored by N. Jackson on 4th minutes, and second goals on 18 minutes still by N. Jackson shows the total brace on West Ham, I don't see this becoming so easy for West Ham but I believe they may have additional time to score at least 1 which would likely ends this game by 1-3 thereabouts.

Jackson does surprise us in some matches, and he does end up disappointing people in most matches. The first half of the match has just ended, and Chelsea are currently ahead of West Ham with two goals, it’s really a nice one for the club, and Jackson's performance was so nice in the first half of the match, he was able to secure two goals in the match. A wonderful performance form the Jackson by secure two goals in the first half and even the entire player’s have show up good performances against west ham, this show that Chelsea want to embark their performances they don’t want what happened for them last season should repeat him self again this season; and that’s they try as much as possibly to put much efforts in every of their match to bring out a positive result.

As it stand now Chelsea are leading west ham by three goals after Jackson secured the first half with perfectly presented, it will good if the Chelsea can keep up this performances they will not have much challenge anymore, but their problems is lack of inconsistent: now that even Chelsea are make proud of them when the league gone far now they will begin performing poorly, but for now their performances is much better.

The match goes well for Chelsea and with a temporary result as 3 - 0 and only 15 minutes left, a win is secured for Chelsea. With results from first 5 matches in Premier League, 3 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss, Chelsea are ready to join top four again. They are playing well but Maresca will have to do many things to help Chelsea finishing this season within top four. Currently we can see some big clubs on top, Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Newcastle United, Aston Villa and of course Manchester United can join top positions too.

Chelsea can get good motivation from these good results recently but they have to look at Manchester United in two latest seasons, some months with a lot of hope and some months with massive disappointment. To finish a season with top highest position, Chelsea must need to maintain this good form and it is harder than having only one or several good matches.

This derby is a joke I must say, both teams are not making it interesting to watch and they are just running around in the first 20mins without making any reasonable style of play.
Chelsea can go on to score upnto 6-7 goals in this game butbi don't care about the goals, the style of play and how they make the team look more different is what I care about, these guys have everything intact but they (The Blues) play like a lower division team. At least we should see that upgrade that they can contest for the title and that they're are capable of beating at least 3-4 of the top six clubs that are stubborn in the EPL. That's the angle I'm driving at, not about scoring a bucket loads if goals and the next game you either lose or draw, is that improvement?

Yeah Chelsea started the game pretty well with an early goal in the first half, Jackson scored the 2 goals and proved that Chelsea made the right move when they signed him for 9 years. This is his 4th goal and puts his name in 2nd position on the top scorers list and if he can consistently play like this then he will be a highlight in the Premier League, I don't want to praise him too much but he seems to have a bright future. Let's see if he can score the 3rd goal in the second half, in his current confidence there is a possibility he will do it.

What do you think about the match between Liverpool vs Bournemouth? Liverpool surprisingly lost in the last match and Bournemouth also lost in the last match, as the home team Liverpool should be able to take advantage of this opportunity to catch up on points but we can't be sure whether Liverpool will win by 2 goals or just one goal. I am looking at a bet on Liverpool to win HT/FT 1.70 because I think Liverpool have no reason to drop more points so they have to secure it.

I thought West Ham would put up a tough fight and could even get a point in this match, but it turned out that they were really careless in the early minutes. It seems West Ham is not paying much attention to Chelsea's pace and that's what caused them to concede. Oddly West Ham doesn't seem to learn from their mistakes, where they were again caught off guard at the start of the second half, and Chelsea's pace once again overwhelmed the West Ham defence, and that ended up being the third goal for Chelsea.

West Ham defense is porous and that gave Chelsea players a good advantage to penetrate their defense. Two ealy goals score in both the first half and the second half shows a sign of unseriousness and lack of understanding their mistakes. Palmer was able to find the back of the net in tge first two minutes of the second half to make West Ham hopeless and unable to put themselves back in the game.

Enzo is a great captain who's always supporting his team's midfield defensively and offensively today.
Collwill is a rock at that defense, repelling most advances from WestHam, Tosin is trying, but rather too slow for my likening, if Emerson had the pace, he'll probably outrun him countless times.

I don't really like the way Palmer was playing today, he's more like almost invisible in the pitch, same with Madueke. The pressure on the WestHam team is very low in my understanding, Chelsea team has to up their game because if WestHam wakes up from their sluggish football today, Chelsea would be in serious trouble..

Finally, the way the Chelsea team are always returning the ball backwards is not okay with me, they are really not pressing forward with their pattern and if WestHam can take advantage of that leak, the match win would be theirs

I don't really see how Chelsea are managing to take the lead..oh, wait, I know: West Ham aren't a team that are threatening and because of their lax attitude, the visitors have two goals to ensure they claim the three points(that's if the game ends like this). Chelsea have been on fire lately and if not for the loss to Man City, they have been enjoying fine results.
I just hope that Lopetugi can get his second win of the season away from home but with how unimpressive they have been playing in the earlier minutes of the first half, only getting some form of control in the later minutes, it would look a bit difficult for them. They need to correct their mistakes and get goals for themselves if not Chelsea will have another three points and clean sheet in a row.

Honestly, Nicolas Jackson is truly at his best in this game against West Ham today because just within 18 minutes of play he was able to score a brace that's to show his energy as a striker and i think that is work of a striker, scoring goals. Hope to see a hat trick from the Senegalese in this game.

Since they scored the goals very early they can win confidently because I don't think Westham can be able to equalize this game even if the statistics changes in the second half because I see a different energy from Chelsea players in this game and I don't think they will be so careless to allow this early advantage slips out from their hand.

Man seeing those goals got me thinking like is Nicolas Jackson really this clinical, I actually avoided putting him on my FPL this morning, if only this guy can try to be consistent then things would be better for him, with lesser criticism and more applause. Sancho has been doing well getting another assist today already including CaicedoI hope he try to make those long passes continually on every games.

Though Chelsea don't have to feel relaxed especially after escaping a penalty and also a West Ham goal disallowed by offside, the team need to stay focus and cautious, West Ham won't be taking in it easy after the halftime break.
