Ten hag has been able to convince INEOS that he’s the right man for the job. I think the FA cup win last season against their local rival Manchester City saved him. The management (INEOS) are doing everything to support him at the moment by getting his preferred signings. So far we have witnessed a lot of significant changes going on in the club, from the appointments of leading figures like Dan Ashworth, Omar Berrada and the assistant manager to Ten hag, Van Nistelrooy. To whom much is given, much is expected. So I expect a new Manchester United as the season kicks off.

This is exactly what we are talking but some people see it as baseless criticism. This preseason games are not just about the results. It is a game that allows teams to test their tactics before season starts and its results has no any impact. Both teams played well actually but were there any tactics employed by Manchester United better than last season? The answer is obviously NO!

United had the same issues last season. They literally can’t pull down the ball and play through the midfield, they only pass it around the back and then play a long pass that often results to lose of possession. By now, it’s expected of Ten hang to have a defined pattern of playing but nothing actually seems to change for now.

Yes, it's true that defeat is still defeat. Even though it wasn't a really serious match for Manchester United and was just a test match which was usually carried out in order to prepare before the season actually started. but well, from that match, Ten Hag had to go back to improving what was lacking in the squad he built. Even in terms of pass accuracy, it seems that Man United is still quite low. And actually their back line was still quite vulnerable in this match. And yeah the point is there's a lot of work to be done ten hag. And Ten Hag will test his improvements again in the next pre-season match, namely against Rangers at Murrayfield stadium.

I agree with you. Ten Hag must carry out an overall evaluation and learn lessons from their loss to Rosenborg. Because this is a pre-season match so I don't think this is an embarrassing defeat. Mediocre teams usually play more passionately against top European teams and teams like Manchester United also play seriously but they often make pre-season tours to evaluate and try various variations of tactics in the game. But defeat is still defeat and Ten Hag must be able to really evaluate his squad before the English league competition starts.

- Eastleigh vs Southampton

Ten Hag  is certainly a capable manager and he has been in charge of Manchester United for a long time, although the team has not done well under him in the last few seasons, but he has been given one more season to change the position of Manchester United. There was a good chance he could lose his job this season but with Manchester United finally relying on him, the manager will surely change his tactics and try to improve the team's performance. This season has been a gamble for Ten Hag. If he can show something good this season, Manchester United will definitely extend his contract, but if the performance is worse than in the past, then Manchester United management will remove him from the responsibility of the team.

Did you say Tottenham managed to get a win? That's one hell of a show by the Spurs players, at least they gave in their best to drop up to 5 goals and that's what I call impressive in their first friendly game (if I'm not mistaken) so if these set of players are going to keep up this momentum I believe before the beginning of the season they're going to make a difference compare to how they were last season, although I'm not the type that uses one good game to judge how good a team is but for a start they're better than Manchester United who lost and the fans will start giving excuses but it doesn't matter. For Spurs to be a tough competitors next season they need to be consistent not winning game till December then they go back to default settings, that's not a good team if you ask me, we shouldn't be to excited about their win until it gets into their system to always be winners and always make sure they stay at the top 3 position of the table.

Even though it was just a pre-season match or a friendly match. But from this match it can be seen that the quality of Man United's second tier players is not that good. In this match, many players who rarely played were given the opportunity to play and the results were not very good. There are many things that need to be improved in the Man United squad. And Ten Hag is certainly aware of this. But I don't want to say that in that match Man United used its full strength. In that match, I saw that Ten Hag was just testing strategies and evaluating the abilities of the players who were given the opportunity to play in that match.

You make an important point that I missed. Ten Hag's relationship with the players is not good. He doesn't even like many players. If the relationship between the coach and the players is not good then it is foolish to expect good performance from this team. Guardiola is a successful Premier League coach. And we've never heard of any player feuds with Guardiola. Or Guardiola dislikes a player in his squad. If you want to be a successful coach, you must have a friendly relationship with the players. And try to understand the weaknesses of the players. But players don't have a friendly relationship with Ten Hag

Ten Hag has many weaknesses. So I don't expect Manchester United to transform into a strong squad next season. Rather I would have been happy if the Manchester United management had appointed a more experienced coach.

In the friendly match played by Tottenham against Hearts, Son and his friends managed to win with a fairly landslide score in the match. I was quite impressed with Tottenham in this match, because the game shown by the Tottenham players was very good in that match. Even the new players brought in by Tottenham, Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall, also played in this match, and the two new players showed very good performances. Lucas Bergvall was even able to provide one assist for Tottenham in that match. So by looking at the composition of players and also the strategy that Tottenham currently has, I am sure that Tottenham can definitely become a tough competitor in the Premier League next season. Because I see that Tottenham's defense, midfield and front line are currently arguably better than last season. So with these facts, I predict that Tottenham will most likely be a team capable of competing in the top 3 of the Premier League.

Unfortunately Son did not score a goal in this match, and I hope that in the next friendly match Son can score goals again.

TenHag should first find out what caused their failure last season. Manchester United's performance last season was weak, if Ten Hag can't find it, he won't be able to strengthen the Manchester United team this season.

We know that Manchester United's match strategy was not good. But I would say one of the reasons for Manchester United's poor performance is the lack of experienced players in attack. Manchester United's attack consisted of Rashford, Antony and Hojlund. None of them can be called experienced. I would say Manchester United should add experienced players in attack.

Being a seasoned coach, ten Hag understands how to use the remaining time effectively in assessing his squad and refining strategies. However many losses in preseason matches, these games give ample opportunity for testing tactics, appraising player performance and improving team cohesion. To Manchester United, these preseason matches do not count on the official standings but can tell what they need to deal with when preparing for the Premier League season ahead. It is an opportunity for the team to identify areas that require improvement, try new formations or combinations of players and prepare well for competitive fixtures. Pre season results may affect morale; however, what matters most is using such games as learning experiences making sure that the group is adequately prepared before the beginning of this session. This is where Ten Hag’s experience and strategy will be needed by Manchester United to navigate through this phase of preparation.

If Ten Hag has started to realize this at Manchester United, of course he himself knows what he actually has to do before the season actually starts. Because in terms of time, it is still possible for Manchester United to make more evaluations and better strategies to be able to start next season as well as possible. And apart from that, losing in the pre-season match also didn't harm Manchester United even though it could make the mediocre team feel happy and enthusiastic enough to start next season in the Premier League.

Erik Ten Hak didn't have a good time in his second season with Manchester United so he couldn't produce satisfactory results in the Premier League, but he was lucky enough to win the FA title so he wasn't fired by the management.
Now he has suffered his first defeat in pre-season so he must try to implement strategies to find the format of the game so as not to suffer another defeat.

Let's see how far Erik Ten Hak's abilities are because his third season will be even more difficult if he is unable to provide big changes for Manchester United.

Honestly, I have high expectations that he can do things much better at Liverpool, because they really have a very good team and they have to take advantage of that, given that it has remained the same. It's like you say, they have to improve their weak points. In that sense I see that things can work very well because there is already work done, that's what needs to be worked on. There is no need to do new work because the team already has the strategy that Klopp had, which for me is good, only the new coach needs to make Improvements.

I know where Frankolala is coming from. If you can remember vividly, the first season that Eric ten hang came to Manchester United, he won almost all the matches of the pre-season and that season he ended 3rd in the league. In the next season he started losing matches in the pre-season, and we all said that it was an ordinary pre-season match at the main season will be different, lo and behold the main season in was no different. This could be his fear that since he has started in a very wrong note in the pre-season, you should not transmit to the main season this time around.

Without being told, Erik knows that he need to do everything right this season else he will say goodbye to Manchester United. He is still in Manchester United today is because he won the FA Cup.

The reason I said Chelsea and every club that have Argentina players to take actions is because these guys knows what's at stake and yet they still went ahead to do it knowing quite alright that it has a punishment that comes with it. FIFA had to step in and to make it more serious, English FA need to fine Enzo because he can try that on their soil since he is playing in England (I think) and it will serve as a lesson to other players who had it in mind. Argentina gained lots of supporters in the finals against Colombia when Messi got knocked out, the feeling was something we can't explain and now they had to go about doing such nonsense, I don't see why FIFA should go easy on the whole Argentina squad.
Enzo can apologize for all I care but he can't undo then damages his actions has caused, I wonder how he will start relating with his teammates at Stamford Bridge, the respect and warm reception he would have gotten for winning the Copa America isn't going to be healthy.

Manchester United has through an hard situation last season which they only can finish at 8th place but the management is believe why Manchester United performance was decline last season is not fully Ten Hag fault and one of the caused is why Manchester United unable to finish at top 4 is because storm injured so that's why the management give Ten Hag more chances for next season this because they believe Manchester United will be much better compared to last season

Indeed to build solid team it won't be happened instantly and everything is required process even it took 6 years for Sir Alex Ferguson to gets his first Premier League trophy with Manchester United so the management is considers why they give more chances to Ten Hag because they feel sacked the managers too often isn't the best solution for this team so the management have realized that they should be more patience and give more time to Ten Hag

So far we still cannot judge early Manchester United performance under Ten Hag because the league still not starting yet but i can see Ten Hag is really serious want to strengthen Manchester United squad with attempts to buy some of skilful players and the latest is Manchester United have reach an agreement for Lille centre back Leny Yoro and it says Manchester United have to spend 50 million plus 12 million ads on to gets this player

Since the beginning of last season it was as if all his ideas for Manchester United was switched off by the pressure of EPL and at some point I thought ten Heg would use the same style he used with Ajax and apply them to the UTD team  (by making them unstoppable), things went side ways for him. Getting some of the Ajax players seems to be the best according to him but they came to even make the team look like a team without any future plans and you see some of ten Heg's best playing absolutely bad and nothing positive to help the team and he has Sancho that he'll use as the 1st or 2nd key man after Rashford but chooses to loan him out which to me was the second mistake ETH made last season.
Is best to work with what you have at the club except the players ain't good enough before you start seeking for players from your old club, not by coming and start recruiting players any how. What ETH was trying to do can work for other coaches but he thought it will for him, but the window is still fresh to try get some better replacement to some of those players he bought last season.

Honestly, I never expected that from a professional footballer like Enzo. We have been fighting against Racism for a very long time now in not just football but other sports generally. The chant can cause a lot of trouble for him and the Argentina team entirely. They can end up losing supporters and fans by the widest margin ever.
I think FIFA are aware of the incident and are currently carrying on investigation. If it looks more serious than intended, FIFA might have to punish him not necessarily Chelsea football club.
