Yes, Maresca must remind his troops not to be easily satisfied with the results achieved so far. A 2-0 lead in the first half certainly has great capital and opportunities to lock today's match. I see the Blues' game is very convincing and it seems that Maresca is starting to find the best form. If Chelsea manages to win the match, then their progress will improve and they have the opportunity to compete again at the top of the standings.

Jackson does surprise us in some matches, and he does end up disappointing people in most matches. The first half of the match has just ended, and Chelsea are currently ahead of West Ham with two goals,  it’s really a nice one for the club, and Jackson's performance was so nice in the first half of the match, he was able to secure two goals in the match. Let’s see how Chelsea's performance will be in the second half of the match, let’s see if they will be able to secure more goals or if they will be able to maintain their current win because there was so much pressure on Chelsea towards the end of the first half.

Your comment is as if you read my mind cos that is exactly what I wanted to say. With such outstanding performance from Jackson today, it is possible that Chelsea might be having double mind in their pursuit of Victor Osimhen because Jackson is already doing what Osimhen is expected to do for them unless as we are yet to see his consistency. Sincerely, I'm actually surprised by this first half result because I expected West Ham to give Chelsea a hard time in their home. At the first half score of 0-2, it will be difficult for Chelsea not to win this one.

Of the three promoted teams, only Southampton don't have even 1 point, I think with what Leicester have done so far they can get their 3 important points today. Their opponent is Everton who is the same team as Southampton (both have no points yet), moreover the match will be held at King Power Stadium, it gives more enthusiasm to the Leicester squad to get the maximum results they can get.

But it's sad, Chelsea is already taking the lead in today's game against West Ham with 2 goals to Nill currently in less than 19 minutes, of which is obvious with the attack force of Jackson today, who has just scored 2 goals (i.e first at 4 and 18 minutes respectively), this game is likely to end 90minutes still in favour of Chelsea, since they currently have the most ball possession and shots on target, including a good defense squad in this game. Because, though many people may have underestimated Chelsea's performance in today's game, I'm happy it's going as predicted. (2 odds justified..)

The match has just started and Chelsea managed to lead by two goals scored by Jackson, I think Chelsea's chances of winning this match are wide open and even though they are ahead, the Chelsea team is able to control the course of the match.
Indeed, Chelsea has now slowly found its best performance and this is in contrast to West Ham so I am not surprised by this result.

From the look of the ongoing match, I think it will be an easy win for Chelsea because Nicolas Jackson has already scored two goals with an easy finish, putting Chelsea on the lead and increasing their hope of having all three points invthis match.

The first goal was an early goal with an assit from Sancho and the second goal was scored on the 17th minutes with an assist from Caicedo. Chelsea is dominating the match away from home.

West Ham 0-2 Chelsea

If not that Chelsea has won two of there last four game in the English premier league while West Ham has won only one this season I will say both team aren't consistence. This particular game is likely to play draw since it is an early kick-off match I believe westham will do everything possible to make sure they never loss this game since they are already playing at home there will be this home advantage on there side. Though the blues are the favorite to win this game the presence of Jordan Sancho in Chelsea front line will give them a better edge of winning this game but is not really going to be easy for Chelsea just as you have said.

I don't see United carrying all 3 points at the Selhurst Park. Palace are quite above average judging from their last 2 league games and 1 carabao cup game. The issue with united is their defense. There defense lacks some form of coordination, which I think the palace attack might take to their advantage. Eberechi Eze is a very good winger that capitalize on such opportunity, and I clearly don't see any player in the united defense that will have to stop him without committing a foul. Though I still feel united still stand a Chance of winning due to their counter attacking play, but on most occasions when we trust them, they usually disappoint. I just checked the odds for both teams, and united seems to be on the winning side, but I will preferably risk it all for as draw(1-1).


I might just want to give it all to west ham. Judging from the game I watched between Chelsea and Bournemouth, I am not sure if Chelsea can easily secure all 3 points or even get a draw. From Chelsea's game against Bournemouth, Cole palmer couldn't do much because he was heavily marked. Pedro seemed to be a very good threat from the left wing, but was later removed. I am expecting goals from both side, but west ham might just seal it all. How is maresca planning on addressing disasi's issue because he seems to be a little shaky at the back, and west ham players like kudus, Füllkrug or Bowen might easily take advantage of him.

Chelsea although not a consistent team but under new manager Maresca, he has made an impressive start to the season and is slowly improving which must be appreciated because after all they are still struggling to find their best rhythm and of course it takes time.

Chelsea vs West Ham I personally am more confident Chelsea to win this match because historically they have the advantage in this match in the last two meetings Chelsea have always won against West Ham.

In addition, what is interesting is that West Ham is actually good when playing away. However, when playing at home, they have not found their best game, this can be seen from their game history. So this will also be a benchmark that Chelsea will win this match. Moreover, if you look at the squad, Chelsea is better than West Ham because Chelsea has a lot of stock of players from the back line, midfield and front line. So I will bet on Chelsea's victory in this match with a predicted score of 0-2.

Chelsea is one of the toughest teams to predict in the Premier League for me. I follow a strategy of betting against them when they're overestimated and backing them when they're underrated. Today feels like the latter.

Chelsea have won both of their away games this season, so Maresca's squad isn't intimidated by playing on the road. West Ham, on the other hand, lost both of their home matches. Chelsea clearly have more talented players, while West Ham's performance hasn't stood out.

I just realized that after 4 games played by each teams in the English Premier League, all of the 3 newly promoted teams did not manage to win even a single game against their opponents. Leicester City will have a great chance to claim their first victory in front of their home fans today when they play against Everton, the defense of Everton are very weak since the start of this new season and I think Leicester City might be able to take advantage of it and score a long awaited victory at the final whistle.

I think Chelsea is gonna win it soon after i saw their starting line up. they dropped a bad player and made adjustment to the player position, my optimism grew.  They dropped Disasi. They adjusted Colwill's position to wingback. They added Enzo and Sancho to the squad. I now think they will beat West Ham soon.

I'm a bit disappointed they decided to bench Nkuku. He scored the winner after being subbed on in the last game, yet he hasn't been able to start.

London derbies are tougher than we all imagine and this would be yet another interesting but hard one for Chelsea to win thus afternoon.
One area West Ham United improved during the transfer window was the defense as they brought in quality defenders like Kilman, Aaron Wan Bisakka and Tobido who joined from Nice.
They have not been doing too well, but this could be a great game to start.
Chelsea has a narrow win over Bournemouth during Match day 4 but this would be another crunch tie for them against the hammers. With the likes of Malo Gusto and Enzo Fernandez back training, Enzo Maresca would have a chance to line up a strong side today. My prediction should be for this game to end as a full-time draw.

Seriously, you just said it all. Chelsea have been inconsistent, and just because they performed well in their last match doesn’t mean they will play well in today’s match against West Ham. I have the feeling that Chelsea will be winning the match even if it’s not really going to be an easy one for them, because Chelsea are always creating chances in their matches, but they don’t have the striker that will be able to convert most of those chances into goals, which is really affecting them. If Chelsea wants to continue with Jackson, then they will be losing some matches that they are supposed to win. Also Chelsea needs to work on their defense, even as they haven’t conceded so many goals this season, but from the matches that they have played, it shows their defense is justo kind of weak, so Enzo should work on that also.

Chelsea are not completely reliable as we know they are not consistent when they played at home against Crystal Palace of course Chelsea was predicted to win but both teams only drew then in the last match when Chelsea played away against Bournemouth we predicted Chelsea would only draw but in fact Chelsea won the match. Well I think in this match we can't predict who will win for the reasons above, it is clear that West Ham always scores goals when playing at home including against Manchester City.

One indication to see who is the favorite is based on the odds offered by the betting market well here I don't see the sportsbooks being confident in Chelsea but i can look at other options like total goals and both teams to score, Sportsbook predicts at least both teams will score 3 goals or more that's why they put odds 1.77 on over 3 goals also for both teams to score the odds are only 1.48 well I think this is the safest bet with low risk.

The team is having a hard time and it some how looks like this court issue is part of what has been making the team not giving that strong vibe since the beginning of this season and let's look at it this way, this has been going on since 2-3 seasons ago but they haven't given us the final judgement but when it has to do with Nottingham Forest and Everton it never took long before they pass the judgment but when it has to do with City we have to wait forever and I feel the fine isn't going to be as heavy as we expected, it might be a fair punishment.

Somehow I feel that West Ham will win this match. Chelsea indeed has a squad that looks more promising, but when it comes to performance, it seems West Ham is not far behind Chelsea, moreover, this will be a home game for West Ham. There is a strange fact related to the two of them, that Chelsea could only draw against Crystal Palace when Chelsea played at home, while West Ham was able to beat Crystal Palace even though they were the away team.

The derby match between Chelsea and Westham will be the opening match of the Premier League today, the match will start in less than 2 hours and of course it can be an interesting spectacle before several other matches start, in terms of quality and depth of the current team of course Chelsea is superior to Westham, but if we look at the performance of the two teams this season it looks like the match will be a difficult and balanced match for both teams,  Chelsea are the favourites in the match but I think Chelsea performance so far has not been consistent enough after they failed to win over Crystal Palace and also a narrow win over Bournemouth, so still West Ham have a great chance to can surprise them in the match, I personally will not try to bet on Chelsea victory in today match because the chances of seeing a draw are more greater to happen.
