Of all the Spurs game to miss out on, it's the one with 16 shots on/off goal from both sides with half an hour to go. Mourinho really does look intent on winning this (as they should be against Villa!) but if this isn't a display of what's in it for Europe spots, then I don't know what is.

Will be home in time for the evening game but this one looks a cracker already. Rooting for Son to get another, though a point might make them fight harder in Europe.

Edit: Alderweireld just repaid his debt? 😜

Currently the result of the game is:

Aston villa 1 - 2 Tottenham

The score now becomes 2-2.
What's up with Tottenham they can't keep up even though there is still time this time don't get paid again by Aston Villa to miss points later and it will be difficult to catch up to Chelsea.
I hope Son-Hueng-min scores another goal.

I do not trust Arsenal but since they are playing at home I too gone with Arsenal to win.

I also have a lot of doubts if I bet on that game, Arsenal has had a very bad performance, with a draw streak and on the other side we have Newcastle that also comes from a draw streak. I prefer to wait at least 20 minutes of play to see the direction of the game before placing any bets

Not watching Aston Villa vs Tottenham but I was expecting Tottenham to have a 2 - 0 win and Villa with early goal ruined my day LOL

Arsenal are not good this season after taking the position as manager but for me it is difficult for Arsenal if it continues like this, whereas tonight against Arsenal I am not so sure that Arsenal will win tonight's game might be boring again.

Kane has not recovered yet but it seems without him Tottenham was able to manage two straight wins from last two matches and one of them was against City.
Mourinho is one manager who doesn't really depend on a particular player, Harry Kane is an indispensable "talent" for spurs, but Mou being the tactician that he is, can and has coped in his absence. Mou loves to do the unexpected, I'm sure even if Kane was fit, Mou would have had tactical tweaks that would have kept him on the bench for few games.
Mikel Arteta is not good enough in his coaching unlike Lampard is good enough after becoming a Chelsea manager.
I know the game isn't patient with managers anymore, even those who have done so well with their clubs, face a sack the minute they start having real bad days. Arteta hasn't been the perfect manager thus far, but did anyone expect him to perform any magic? Arteta would not be judged, at least till the end of next season. This young managers need time.

After Mikel Arteta took over the manager position in Arsenal, Arsenal have not lost much of their games played with Mikel Arteta in charge but Arsenal are also not winning games often too, most of the matches ended with a draw at the final whistle. I think it is time for Arsenal to prove that they can win games in front of their own fans, and Arsenal should be able to claim a victory against Newcastle United today.
And they are boring AF. Football is a game of goals and attacks. Last few matches
Burnley 0 Arsenal 0 (boring AF)
Chelsea 2 Arsenal 2 (can not complain much)
Arsenal 1 Sheffs 1 (boring AF)
Palace 1 Arsenal 1 (boring AF)
Arsenal 2 Utd 0 (can not complain much)
Arsenal 1 Chelsea 2 (Credits due to Chelsea)
Bournemouth 1 Arsenal 1 (boring AF)
Everton 0 Arsenal 0 (boring AF)

Two games today, Aston Villa vs Spurs & Arsenal vs Newcastle.
Kane has not recovered yet but it seems without him Tottenham was able to manage two straight wins from last two matches and one of them was against City. I am expecting Tottenham to win this match too. and from Arsenal I have no expectation although in papers they are better team than Newcastle.

Tottenham still have good main players so without Kane it won't be a problem for his team and will continue to dominate the chelsea points to overtake him, I say for bets above 2.5gol it would be more appropriate to bet.

Arsenal vs Newcastle - same points and consecutive x4 arsenal with a draw I still doubt Arsenal in this session.

Norwich - Liverpool ( 0 - 1 )

Norwich  had a great chance to score a goal and failed, it was an unbelievable failure because there are two Norwich players against the Liverpool goalkeeper, but even with this great opportunity Norwich failed to score. In that game it was evident that if norwich had good players who score many goals they could cause problems for liverpool

I think that would have gone to VAR if they’d scored & it would have been disallowed for offside. Alisson didn’t know though so was great goalkeeping by him obviously.

Liverpool is playing football as a team so if someone gets tired then this is a huge problem to the team's performance.
Because they are playing as a team, I do not think if someone gets tired or even get injured; it's gonna make much difference. Remember when Mane was not with the team for injury? Everyone thought Liverpool will slow down but we have not seen any such performance from them. They kept winning their matches.

Liverpool lately made it to their habit of winning football matches. And it's a habit which is very hard to give up.

This would be a wrong move as the next games in Champions League are coming.
Not necessarily so, some players perform best when they are playing week in and week out. Look at the two of you of players of this generation; Messi and Ronaldo. They rarely miss any game but still remain fit come up with the best numbers and seem to somehow about injuries.
Rotating players is of course necessary, especially when the fixtures are piling up like they are now. However, it's not the only applicable strategy.

Messi and Ronaldo are some special cases in my opinion.
And apart from that, I think that Messi was getting rest in easy games (etc. Copa del Rey games). Liverpool is playing football as a team so if someone gets tired then this is a huge problem to the team's performance.

this is a historical value
Talking about historical value? I think followings are not much far to achieve for Liverpool.

Liverpool needs 6 more unbeaten streak to touch the record of 49
One more win to touch the record of 18 times win streak
One more home win to touch the record of 21 home win streak
Three more away wins to touch the record of 11 away win streak.
We will see all of them will be achieved in the next few weeks considering the next few matches are with West Ham in Anfield, away match against Watford, home match against Bournemouth, away match against Everton, home match against Crystal Palace before meeting City in their ground.

On the other hand, Liverpool's position was further strengthened by the Manchester ban. Because of the Manchester Ban EPL has been lost a strong opponent.
Even then, hope the rest of the teams will play better and create excitation on the field.
What do you mean "EPL has lost a strong opponent"? Huh The ban is only with regards to the UEFA Champions League. It (currently) has no bearing on the EPL at all. It also doesn't come into affect until the NEXT season (2020-2021 season) of UCL football. City are still able to continue playing in the UCL this season.

So no EPL opponent has been "lost" as far as Liverpool are concerned.

I think I'll have to disagree with you (HCP) to agree with Swordsoffreedom. Football is way above what just happens on the field of play as some matches are already won before the game even begins. Phycologically, Manchester city will be affected as the players must have already accepted their fate of not playing in the championship league next season which will definitely affect their performance in the premier league either positively or negatively (although the negative effect is the obvious outcome).

Players will begin forcing their move to clubs which will give them the opportunity to compete at champions level which automatically will destabilize the city team and make them weak and unlikely contenders. Recall what the transfer ban did to Chelsea this season, they automatically were ruled out of the conversation of potential league winners.

What'll be the benefit of competing for a top 4 finish when it's certain you're not getting a champions spot. The likes of Pep, Kevin de bruyne, Sterling etc will likely leave the club.

That is the characteristic of Klopp, he considers every game to be an important match so that the chances of winning every match are greater. Indeed, player rotation is needed but when their medical team is able to work well by always paying attention to the fitness of each player, then always playing the main players in every match is not a problem.

Klopp does have a good principle to his players so that the player's fitness is always maintained at the time of the match.
Look at last night's match against Norwich even though the score was thin but still they were optimistic that with this victory they were easy opponents they did not take lightly so it was more serious during the match.
This is the first time I've seen Liverpool have more discipline.

In other news, after the win(dy!) at Norwich, Liverpool currently have a 25 point lead and now only need to win 5 more games to claim the title! w00t!

It also depends on the fitness and athleticism of the players too. Ronaldo's takes his fitness so seriously that's why he barely gets injuried for lon periods of time otherwise enough play time is good for all players.

Since it's going tot be Liverpool's first League trophy for a while now, Klopp isn't wasting away any chances
