Wolves play Leicester tomorrow night, should be a really good game. Leicester are comfortably in the CL qualification spots but Wolves away is a really tough one, they’re a really good team at home.

Indeed Wolves are very good at home but this time Leicester's opponents are strong enough in my opinion especially since Leiceester has a goal to add points to be able to overtake Mancity in second place.
But I think the match will be quite tough because it will continue to add points in one of the two teams, I like Wolves with his quick attacks.

I must say Roberto Firmino is one of the most underrated players for Liverpool so far this season. He is an invaluable player and his contributions especially in away fixtures has helped Liverpool to pick up vital points on the road and also the Club World Cup.
Not taking anything away from the rest of the players, there are six many stand out performers as is expected in the squad of potential league champions.

Not trying to take anything from what you said but you understand firmino is the NO9 for Liverpool and as a striker you're supposed to turn up for the team as frequently as possible but that isn't the case for firmino, sure he turns up when the team is looking for a way to break the defence and also makes important passes (assist) but he doesn't have much goals in him as a striker.

The like of mane and salah which aren't striker has more goals (and probaby more assist too) than him. He needs to up his game as when you speak about too strikers in the league and Europe in general, hardly before the name firmino pops into my head.

I think that Liverpool will now be focused 100% on the Champions League because they have already won the Premier League this year. The draw puts them against Atletico which is not in the top form they were just a few years ago. This will make it easy for Liverpool to pass this round of Champions League.
Not yet but we can say Liverpool is very very close to become the winner of premier league this season and they can focus more on Champions League. Also a reminder that Liverpool has a good chance to get a Golden Premier League Trophy by completing an entire season undefeated.

It would be a great achievement if LFC returned to win the Champions League meaning that for 3 consecutive seasons entered the final and 2 times as champions, As long as they remained consistent in maintaining their appearance it seemed possible.

Not sure. Klopp will be eyeing out for the achievements of perfect run in EPL history and they are so close to make a mark. Atletico is not a major threat so I think Klopp is gonna roll out his usual side in next PL fixture.

Going unbeaten in the league would be a huge achievement though and I hope he doesn't throw that away.

I agree, that's why I doubt Klopp will do any rotations this weekend.  They've gotten this far going unbeaten, and with only 13 games left in the season and not much contention in their upcoming schedule, it seems they can easily set the records and take the league without a loss.  Klopp can probably taste it.  I hope he doesn't sacrifice the CL, but I have a feeling he's looking at making EPL history this year.  LFC can do it with many more wins than the Gunners had in 2003-04, we're witnessing the new "Invincibles."

To pass the season without any defeats is a great achievement, but I don’t think that it will be seriously considered by anyone in the management of the team, given that the whole fight for the Champions League is ahead. I think the victory in the Champions League will be much more important than the statistical achievements inside domestic championship (which in any case will be won).

The domestic league is also important because Liverpool haven't lifted the EPL trophy for a long time and this season with an unbeaten record Liverpool will win it.
The UCL trophy is also very important where last season Liverpool won it and now they want the torfi again maybe Klop is ready with his consequences to have to face some obstacles the big club will pass on.

It's going to be difficult to choose between Mane and Virgil who's the better player for Liverpool,
Mane is an outstanding striker and Mohamed Salah has an important role in the match.

Not taking anything away from the rest of the players, there are six many stand out performers as is expected in the squad of potential league champions.

Sadio Mane left striker, Firmino center forward, Mohamed Salah right-hand striker, all of whom have an important role in Liverpool. Their cohesiveness always contributes well in working with the ball and scoring goals.
I say this can be said to be a perfect attacker where all 3 players can always rely on what Liverpool need when competing.

I-I didn't know anything about a golden trophy D: I gotta admit that it is pretty nice, but, i don't know, does it actually justify risking VVD, Allison, or Mane getting injured before a CL game?  Undecided Maybe, maybe not...but the fact that your first Premier League title could be a freaking golden trophy..kinda hard to let that chance slip by, i'll give you that  Lips sealed
Yeah kinda hard to let such chance slip by,  despite the fact Arsene Wenger had a almost a bad record towards leaving Arsenal,  the unbeaten run he had then will be forever remembered.

Lots of different managers had coached Liverpool,  but if Klopp could make could go unbeaten this season,  I think he's gonna be the most successful coach to ever coach Liverpool, winning Ucl last season and being undisputed champion this season,  that's will be awesome!!!

I haven’t seen much of Atleti this season but a quick look at La Liga tells you that they’ve played 23 & only won 10. I appreciate that Simeone is a great manager but Griezmann is gone, Godin isn’t there any more. They’re not the same team that got to two CL finals a few years ago.

Results over the last 2.5 seasons tell you LFC are one of the best, if not the best team in the world. Over 2 legs LFC will definitely be stronger.

It's hard to predict the results of an international match across leagues, but it seems fairly obvious that LFC is the better team.  The way LFC dominated the CL last year, and with their unbeaten streak in the EPL extending well into last season are a demonstration how dangerous they are.  I could easily see the match in Madrid going 0-2, that wouldn't surprise me at all.

I’d love to win the title & the CL, if it’s a choice between being unbeaten in the PL & getting that gold trophy or maybe resting players before CL games in an attempt to win the double I’d rather do the latter.
I was starting to believe that Liverpool fans would prefer getting that unbeaten run achievement over the chance of fighting for the CL title again. Good to know that there are some fans who actually prefer the double (and who wouldn't want the treble?).

Going unbeaten in the league would be a huge achievement though and I hope he doesn't throw that away.
But the FA or UEFA doesn't give you any extra awards/silverware for going unbeaten in the league :/
A golden trophy will be presented to them if eventually they stay unbeaten in premier league,  it was given to Arsenal back then in 2003-04 Premier league season, it's a unique achievement if you ask me, it's worth playing his first team,  regardless of the club he's playing in the Epl,
Well, there you go, tomahawk9. Who doesn't want a golden trophy?  Cheesy

Liverpool and Manchester City aren't on the same level this season, while City have struggled for form, Liverpool have been taking the league by storm and still look set to continue, breaking numerous records on the way. And also when City played Norwich, Norwich were in good form then, but that form seem to have faded off as the season went on, so this game is a different game for the both teams.
In general, I agree with your assessment, but you should not forget that you can’t go all season (or this very rarely happens) to go on the same level. It seems to me that Liverpool will still experience a period of deterioration of the game, although this, obviously, will not prevent from becoming a champion.

I think Liverpool could score a couple of away goals in the 1st leg, if that was to happen it’d be pretty much all over before Atleti even get to Anfield.

Yes, Liverpool will try to score many goals against Atletico, And Simeon relies in his tactics on the back roles, Therefore, Klob must manage the match with the participation of Salah and Mani from the  start So he can visit the goalkeeper. I think the match will know one goal or a tie without goals!!!

I watched few of Atleti games and they are totally uninspired going forward. It's not that they are missing the chances, they don't even create them. Defensively they are still very good team but they have lost that small bit of cutting edge in that part as well.

Liverpool is the most stable team when I look at all the top leagues in Europe. They play really very extraordinary with the coordination that is built between the lines. Maybe they will not be beaten for the English Premier League this season

Both of them are very much needed in Liverpool, especially when dealing with Atletico Madrid this month, Mane is an outstanding striker and Mohamed Salah has an important role in the match.
I think that if these two attackers will play and play against Atletico Madrid it will be easier.
