Liverpool's going to have a rough December, and City is also having some troubles with their defenses. I won't be surprised if they lose 3 points or so in December and then Leicester + Chelsea will catch up. That will definitely make the top four competition more interesting.
Liverpool have a great advantage right now, but history has shown that it doesn't have to mean much.
Last season, Liverpool also had a big lead of 7 points over Manchester City but in the end they were second.
The league is very long and hard and it's very difficult to win in continuity.
Manchester will certainly strengthen its defense with new players in January and Liverpool will have a very difficult and busy schedule in December because of FIFA Club World Cup, so if they survive December then they are most likely new champions, after 30 years.
