Imho, He's not the best Coach and that'd be come evident has the season unfolds.
Mourinho's talent is great no doubt, but there numerous manager I would rather have in club ahead of him, Poch included.
Best when he's playing with the right players and been given freedom to spend during the transfer window and always given freedom to bring in the players that suit his style of play. Pochettino was a good coach but I won't compare him to Mourinho as even when Mourinho isn't performing at his best, he still manages to win trophies. History doesn't care how the teams preformed, only the winners (goals, trophies) count.
If Pochettino couldn't win tottenham trophies in the last four years irrespective of them playing impressively to the extent of securing champion league football all through the years, what's the essence of retaining him when he can't win them trophies?.

To tell you the truth, I think that Manchester City is going to win this game easily similar to your prediction of 3-1, but I believe that if they don't, then the game is going to end up as draw.
I think the fans of Arsenal will have to accept the fact that it might take many years for Arsenal to be able to qualify for the Uefa Champions League again. Even though Arsenal is playing Southampton in front of their home fans today, but I do not think it will be an easy match for Arsenal, maybe Southampton might even be able to force a draw against Arsenal at the end of the match today.
I agree with the part were Arsenal doesn't look like like top 4 team anytime soon but I expect them to do well today. They are much better at home than away and they usually take 3 points vs. weaker position. I am expecting they will win with handicap today and will probably put them on at least one of my tickets.

The could both drop two points if the match ends in a draw, and I think that would favour Liverpool more as they would move further away from both teams should they win their next fixture. Mourinho mostly thrives of expensive transfers. It would be interesting to know how Tottenham's transfer activity changes now that he is their coach. If they get busy in the transfer market and buy players then i think Mour can turn them into a cup winning team.
Isn't that what every big coach in the game today does, pep had a horrible first season, he made the club buy exactly the players he needed, and he was able to win the EPL back to back. You cannot perform well as a coach if you do not have the players to play your style. Spurs hardly spend money during transfer windows, but the audacity alone to make mou the second highest earning coach in the world means they are ready to spend as much as city and other big teams in the next transfer window(not in January though)Another thing is, it will be interesting to see the calibre of players Mourinho would be able to convince to come play for spurs, we all know Spurs are not so much among the elite.
