I think you will say something like "Chelsea could have been the EPL winner" at the end of this season Grin
Chelsea? No way LOL

Arsenal, Man Utd may have an impact but I am not much hopeful about them to be the season winner. The competition is still intact in between City and Liverpool.

Tomorrow's matches,

Arsenal should be able to perform much better than last season as Unai Emery have been managing Arsenal reasonably well with just over a year in charge as manager, I browsed through the match record history between Arsenal and Burnley, and it seems that Burnley are always struggling to play against Arsenal. Arsenal manager Unai Emery have made a couple of big transfer in the transfer market, and I guess it is time for these new players to perform against Burnley, I believe Arsenal will be able to beat Burnley pretty easily at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal had previously bought several new players to strengthen all sectors. Certainly this season Arsenal will look even better than the previous season, we hope this new player will contribute a lot to bring Arsenal to the top. Arsenal will face Burnley later and it will be easy for Arsenal.

Before the close of the transfer window I thought that Arsenal is going to have a mediocre performance this season, as last year.
But, after they signed David Luiz and strengthened their defense I think that they are going to fight for a better position than 4th. I predict that they will fight for the second position along with City and Liverpool.

I hope they compete very tight to win the Premier League trophy, the player who just joined Arsenal I think has a way of playing that fits the arsenal style of play and it is very good for new players to adapt.

Easily we would had won both games we have played so far. The two goals cancelled due to offside were brilliant goals from two youngsters. Lampard is building somethings special, the boys played a beautiful football and i was proud we took the fight to the best team in Europe (Liverpool).
More excuses bro? Grin

According to Gary Neville, Manchester United is actually not very bad. He even believes that MU will win the English League ahead of Liverpool.

MU has been fasting for six years the Premier League title. The last time they won the league trophy was in 2012/2013, at the end of the Sir Alex Ferguson era.

I think Man City will win the title. I also think it sounds like Gary Neville has been smoking some grade A shit Grin

He did not say that will ManU win the title in this season, He spoke about the next few years. It is normal to hear from him because he is a former ManU player and there is a big rivalry between supporters of these two clubs.
I also think so, maybe is better to say "I hope". though this is also a nightmare for all ManU fans, now Liverpool and ManCity dominate and winning PL and CL.

I think people are giving Chelsea a lot of credit for taking the game that further, Liverpool missed a ton of chances and the game could have normally ended with like 4-5 goals from Liverpool if they were a bit more lucky, just one bad touch, one off feet balance and so forth and you have a game that is tied.

Remember this was the team that lost to manU recently by a big margin, just from Liverpool game we can't say Chelsea will be great this season nor we can say they will be bad because of manU game neither, so we have to see couple more matches from them, specially against some bad teams at the bottom of the league and according to that we will see their strength, we literally have seen them lose 2 games while claiming they are good, that is not really reasonable.

What is impossible in football. It's just that the predictions are too high, not according to the current condition of Manchester United. 'I understand that Manchester United can compete with other great English teams. But to be an English League champion, you must always win consistently. We'll see that prediction is reality or just imagination.

You can’t compare Van Dijk with Messi & CR7 based on goals & assists Cheesy
One is a defender & the other two attackers. You have to see who was the most important to his team, who won games/trophies through world class performances & brought things nobody else could. The answer is all three of those players Cheesy

I think Messi is the best player in the world but he didn’t show it on the big stage in that game at Anfield. The CL is the biggest trophy in club football & Van Dijk won it so I think he should win.

Absolutely agree with everything above and just wanted to add that I have a feeling Van Dijk is winning it this year. It has come a time to award a defender after all the attackers winning it in the past and Van Dijk really took charge of Liverpool defense and was very important for them.

Messi didn't have a good season by his standards but Ronaldo could be a factor because of title in National League.

Nice to win another trophy but it’s not really a majorly important one. The season is young & both Chelsea & Liverpool will improve a lot as they get fitter & stronger after a long pre season.

With the performance I saw yesterday, I'd say there is a huge for Chelsea this season, provided they can keep up with such level of performance. They really took the game to Liverpool and would have been deserving winners too if they had won the game.

Glad you see that now and that's exactly what I saw from the very beginning. Easily we would had won both games we have played so far. The two goals cancelled due to offside were brilliant goals from two youngsters. Lampard is building somethings special, the boys played a beautiful football and i was proud we took the fight to the best team in Europe (Liverpool).

Kepa would had easily save two penalty but it wasn't our night. We lost this one with our heads held high as it was a wonderful performance. At least other teams won't look down on us now, thinking we are no threat. Lampard and the boys just gained some respect.

Funny guy  Gary Neville, so according to him it is enough to be "not very bad" to win EPL, the most competitive football league? We saw his expertise in Valencia Cheesy

Not that Man Utd won't win EPL, i don't see it how they can finish ahead of Liverpool, let alone City. Both of those clubs have better players and way more experienced coaches. They should be happy if they finish ahead of Spurs and Chelsea and get into CL, that should be their goal for this season.

Duh!
Man U does not have the past glory anymore. This season, we will again see City and Liverpool competition. May be Liverpool will learn from their mistakes from the last season.

Honestly speaking it's too early to tell anything about the season but we will see how it goes.

You are correct. Playing and winning the CL final is an advantage for Van Dijk and I would not be surprise to see him at the top. In fact I will be happy to see him there. Anyone from Liverpool deserves it. They had a very good season after all.

If we had to look at the above numbers then Messi comes first.

I agree, Gol is not the main thing seen here.
I would be more happy if Ronaldo could win this, seeing Ronaldo contribution to clubs and countries that make sure CR7 is entitled to this award.
