Yeah, season so far: 2 parlays in EPL matchday 1 and the Super Cup yesterday. Currently waiting for La Liga, CL playoff round, Bundesliga, and some other leagues to start.
Great winnings. I hope your stakes were big. Congratulations and good luck for the entire season.
Thanks, man.    Smiley

Don't know where else to post this but since a Liverpool player is in it (and a lot of people read this thread), here it goes:

Nice to win another trophy but it’s not really a majorly important one. The season is young & both Chelsea & Liverpool will improve a lot as they get fitter & stronger after a long pre season.

With the performance I saw yesterday, I'd say there is a huge for Chelsea this season, provided they can keep up with such level of performance. They really took the game to Liverpool and would have been deserving winners too if they had won the game.

Am I the only one expecting the same story from last season? I think Liverpool reached its peak last season (CL winner and 97 pts), while City didn't (the were 2 pts behind their 100pts record in 2018), and with the new signings (Cancelo, great RB, and Rodri, the next Busquets, in my opinion) I don't see how we could see a decline performance-wise.
You mean slipping the EPL title by very close margin and winning the CL trophy? Man! I would love to see winning them CL again (hard one of-course) but I want them to lift the EPL title. It's been very long time we have not lift it.

Anyway, glad to have another trophy. I just hope this year Liverpool can win the EPL, the team has potential. It's been long time since they won the title.

I think Liverpool needs to improve a lot in order to be a serious title contender this year.
In my opinion they are still a serious candidate for this year's EPL title. They had a flying start in the first match and I am expecting another massive win in the next match. Liverpool just need to ensure that they do not end up drawing many matches in the middle like the last season.

Yes I thought Liverpool would have an easy win yesterday and didn't expect to go to extra time to win the game.
Although not a major important trophy,a trophy is always a trophy so good to have one more.I think Liverpool needs to improve a lot in order to be a serious title contender this year.

Liverpool vs Chelsea - under 2.5 @2.26
Congratulations! It seemed very risky when Chelsea scored first. I was expecting a 3 - 1 regular time for Liverpool, didn't expect the fight from Chelsea. They done well to Challenger the CL champions.

Anyway, glad to have another trophy. I just hope this year Liverpool can win the EPL, the team has potential. It's been long time since they won the title.

I had no idea Liverpool were playing Chelsea last night.

It's regrettable that you didn't watch the match last night. It was a very interesting match. Liverpool and Chelsea provide both spectacle and attacking games.
I also missed this show because I did not know the schedule, I would see the match via YouTube but it was quite difficult to get the full view via YouTube.

Really, the game was fun from both teams, However, the luck was next to Liverpool, When the game ends on penalties, Often it's fun. Congratulations to the winner of the frankness of the two teams deserve all the appreciation.

Liverpool vs Chelsea - under 2.5 @2.26  Current record: 3W | 0L

The last all-english european final finished 2-0 so I figured this one was gonna be more of the same...It wasn't as boring as the CL final, but the scoreline did finish with u2.5 goals in FT  Roll Eyes  And good thing I didn't go for ML like I said a few days ago.

Chelsea is actually playing very good football this season but they are missing too many opportunities.
If I were Lampard, I'd be satisfied with yesterday's performance. A draw against the CL winners is no small feat, especially if you consider that Chelsea lost their best player and a key member of the defence over the past few years. There's room for improvement, and perhaps Chelsea won't be a shit as I thought they'd be before the season started  Cheesy

Good bet mate. You hit great odds there
As for Lampard, of course he should be satisfied with the result. He made a great comeback after the 4-0 defeat.
However, he was so close to his first trophy with Chelsea. He would probably feel sad for that as it was a great opportunity for his first tile as Chelsea's manager.

I had no idea Liverpool were playing Chelsea last night.

I think old football players becoming coaches is not a good idea at all, I mean maybe Lampard because he was always a smart player but if you want to look at good coaches you will see that not many of them were star players ever.

Mourinho is known for not played at a major league at all, only trials and so forth, Klopp wasn't a big name neither, even pep was a decent player but not a star, if you want to look at great coaches most of them are players who have retired early and got into coaching early as well because they knew they wouldn't be players wanted at age 35 so they start early, Lampard wasn't like that many new coaches who are seen like promising future will be a let down because they played instead of coaching in years the other ones started coaching already.

Most managers these days are ex players and it's only going to become more common now as the retirement age is probably getting younger and younger and being retired in your thirties is a pretty harsh blow, but what better job is there for them to do than being a manager. They're certainly qualified or have the experience. I think people need to stop putting too much pressure on managers and expect them to win everything. These days if you lose a couple of games in a row people start to talk about you being sacked and managers don't get chance to build their teams and win anything. Remember Fergie didn't win anything for the first few years. Pep's first managerial gig was Barcalona B team and even they are probably better than most other teams. He then wen't straight into managing Barca, and if we're being honest, you'd have to be pretty terrible to not win anything with them. If you put me in charge of Barcelona or Man City I'm pretty sure I'd win something. Too much credit is given to managers especially when they've gone straight into managing world class teams, but as I've said before, let's see how well a manager like Pep would do managing a team from the lower leagues. Go manage a team Grimbsy and get them into the Premier League then I'll call you great  Cheesy

The more interesting the match in the second round.
Liverpool dominated the attack that created 1 goal for Liverpool which made the score temporarily balanced. I am happy with the barrage of liverpool attacks. What makes Chelsea Chelsea always alert.

Finally Liverpool won it on penalty shootout.
I am sad because Chelsea really tried hard. I hope that they are going to be competitive like they were tonight during the whole season. Good calls from Lampard.
What you say is true.
That I want that also to Chelsea. Don't stop here, the EPL competition is still long and hopefully they are always consistent with their attacking game. I really saw how hard Chelsea shot after shot happened.

If Chelsea does wins tonight giving Lampard his very first Chelsea silverware (minus the preseason silverware which isn't relevant) I would surprise every user that hasn't lost hope on Chelsea yet. The users that have previously predicted a win for Chelsea (unedited post or last edited time isn't older than this post) would get a gift from me. I believe in Lampard even though he losses to Liverpool (there's no shame in that). They're the best team currently in Europe but like they said, it's football and anything can happen. I still believe the boys will get a narrow win. Just hoping it comes true.

They sure played a very good football in the first half after initial 10 minutes. I didn't predict Chelsea win but I played a ticket where I backed Chelsea to score at least 2 goals. Looking good so far. To be fair I thought the result would be like 4:2 for Lpool.

Chelsea is actually playing very good football this season but they are missing too many opportunities. As I said after Man utd game that one could have easily finished very differently if they had a bit more luck and 4:0 result was not realistic.

at least that hope will be realized with Chelsea who have gotten 1 goal. Just waiting for the second half, if it still survives with the initial score, sure Chelsea can win without danger and make the first trophy for lampard.
