Aaron Wan-Bissaka claimed to be better than Trent Alexander-Arnold as the best right-back English Premier League. Former Manchester United player Paul Parker, who called Wan-Bissaka, the best right-back of the Premier League. Parker also saw that Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold was not as good as the Red Devils signing.

They are both great players and it is difficult to say who is better one. If we look defensively, I would choose Wan-Bissaka since Alex-Arnold looks awful when defending. I don't know if that is a temporary lack of form at the beginning of the season or the opposition managers managed to hone in on weakest part of LFC defense. Liverpool looks much weaker on Alex side but that could be also because Robertson has Van-Dijk to help Smiley When looking at attacking contributions Wan-Bissaka is good but Alex is one of the best in the world.

If we are talking who did more in their career so far, then Alex is miles in front of Wan-Bissaka.

Man City play Spurs this weekend, very early in the season for a clash of two of the title favourites. It’d be nice to see Man City drop points, nobody wants to see one team win every game. A competitive league is good for everybody, I think City will win though. They always find a way.

Mmmm...  There are two managers who got Pep's number.  They are Klopp and Poch.  Sure Man City has a slightly better chance of winning.  But dunno...  As I've said a couple of times in the past:  I fear for City.  Lololol.

I’ll be happy if City lose, the financial doping, FFP cheating, dirty oil money bastards. Damn it, without their oil money & state funded, terrible human rights ownership we’d have won the title by like 20 points.

I would be happy if in this match Manchester City did not get the full point. And your prediction regarding City winning in this match is really wrong, I think that Tottenham is exactly that. No matter it plays at manchester city house. You will see how Tottenham plays this time.

@tomahawk nice win. I did believe Chelsea were the far weaker side, and the odds reflected that but I thought they would be galvanised the way United were with an old boy at the helm. I suppose they weren't in enough dire straits. 4 nil is a bloody result however you look at it and Abramovich will be even more disinterested by this. I mean to lose 4 to nothing is an embarrassment, more so it was to a team that didn't challenge for anything last season.

Now I fear the backlash in Super Cup and damn Chelsea, now the odds will be bad for betting on Pool.

We haven’t discussed LFC for ages brother but I think if Klopp plays our best team Wednesday we’ll murder Chelsea. I think they’ll have a sustained period of mediocrity now, Hazard has gone & they couldn't sign anybody due to the transfer ban. I mean they had some kid called Mount in the first XI & their main striker is a dude who was on loan in The Championship at Villa last season, it’s kind of embarrassing.

I predict a comfortable win for Liverpool. I was offered a free ticket but I only just got back from Amsterdam & the flights & hotels are obscene in Istanbul over those couple of days.

My prediction is 3-0 Reds Smiley

You said it, my man. I was very satisfied with the first half performance against Norwich, even without Mane we were a blaze of colour -- credit to the opponents for keeping it open, but that's exactly the type of game we excel in -- although I still think our fullbacks haven't quite shrugged off their preseason creaks.

I actually did look at Istanbul ticks thinking maybe this kind of game escapes the price touts but naive to think that in the end. Something that totally slipped my mind when we won.

3-0 is my favourite prediction too, but that will rely on Chelsea playing to our game. I just hope that hammering doesn't cause them to clam up. Be lovely to see our Terrible Trio start though!

Another difficult match for Lampard and Chelsea. In the match Liverpool certainly more favored. I'm sure Lampard worked hard when Chelsea met Manchester United. And in the near future who will compete against Liverpool, Lampard must have thought of the best for Chelsea.

enjoy

Every manager has their own difficulties. As Klopp said if you have better players you can play better football. I think Chelsea need to improve their squad if they want to compete to finish in top 4, especially after they lost one of their most important players. Unfortunately, they got a transfer ban.

I hope Lampard can improve their squad with proper training so that Chelsea is still competitive this season.

Liverpool actually have an upper hand on Chelsea in this upcoming fixture. They (Liverpool) have a very strong team with all their best players likely to  feature. They are in their prime now and with all that said, Lampard and his boys can surprise Liverpool(that's my wish)
I don't think we have any chance that Chelsea is going to surprise Liverpool after watching first match of both teams Chelsea was not near to be a team and Lampard was also really struggling and I am sure now he is going to be first manager who is going to be sacked from his job as most of predictions coming about next match I am also sure we are going to be watch another murder by Liverpool in this super cup.

I don't try to underestimate Lampard, but I do not think that he is a good manager. I mean he is not experienced enough to handle a big team like Chelsea, indeed he was very talented players years ago but in case of being manager then I think he needs more years to prove his ability in managing a big team. It wont be surprised if he will be sacked if the team starts the season with many losses. As we all what was happened in the past few years. I also wonder why Chelsea did not really active to find great players for this new seasons while they have lost Hazard, I can say that the current squad is (maybe) the worst for a decade.

I won't argue with that although I hope that won't be the scoreline. I'm a big Liverpool fans (not as a team) but for the individual talents especially our African ambassadors representing us over there at the club. I wish Liverpool can outshine Manchester city this season although when they're playing a match involving my team, I'll always hope for Chelsea to find a way to win, I know it'll be impossible but I just have to hope. I haven't given up hopes on Lampard's Chelsea yet.

My prediction- Chelsea 2:1 Liverpool. Just hope the boys can bring the fight they brought to United at the first half and sustain that energy into the second half and probably win the game. This match/cup (if we do win), might just take our season to another level.

because I have faith in this team for this season.
I have no faith in Chelsea this season to be honest with you, I think they've got s shallow squad bereft of depth, not any quality on the bench whatsoever, I'll love to see how they brace themselves up for their next game against Liverpool in the super cup.

Ominous signs are brewing up for Frankie, Chelsea have a history of making use of the axe(sack)and i hope he isn't chopped off before he even gets started.

This is really getting absurd and should not be happening in the Footballing world.
Violence should not happen anywhere and people are behaving like hooligans and cannot be tolerated, two people from Tottenham are arrested for altercation with security personals patrolling his residence which is unfortunate.

Liverpool V Chelsea is coming up and i am going for Liverpool to win with ease here but i am going with Liverpool scoring two goals or more but looking at the H2H stats Chelsea is leading the table with 3 wins but considering their last weeks performance it is likely to be the case in this match.

I'm looking at the Super Cup odds right now, most sites have FT Chelsea @5.40 and above...I think i'll avoid ML and just go for total goals.

Btw, is anyone keeping up with the Ozil-Kolasinac news? It's actually pretty messed up, whole thing went from a robbery a few days ago to a gang war LOL https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/9701877/security-guard-mesut-ozil-sead-kolasinacs-gang-threats/

I wonder if this thing affects the squad both mentally and psychologically (?).
I read somewhere that some chaps probably from the gang were recently arrested in from of Ozil's house (i think).
This is really getting absurd and should not be happening in the Footballing world.

This is not just some random attacks but a racist attempt to spread general terror for players from south-eastern Europe.
Ozil is a Turkish-German and was attacked several times last year for his sympathy to his country of origin and his religion. Even the German fans cursed him forgetting what he had done this far for the German team. Sead is also a Bosnian and the White Europeans don't consider Bosnian an European.

I think Chelsea will be able to make at least a single goal in this match and a 1-1 draw might be the most ideal result. Chelsea slightly dominates the ball possession with several shots on target attempts although it doesn't effective yet.

That was my previous hope for chelsea.
In the end, that hope did not come true, that the second half of Chelsea really decreased his appearance to conceding 4 goals. Lampard must really work hard again so that the next match must get 3 points.

I think that it was just bad luck for Chelsea.
Of course the team didn't show good performance but 4 goals cannot describe their performance.
I hope they will be better in the next game and get the 3 points, because I have faith in this team for this season.
