Finally official too ...
Arsenal officially bring Nicolas Pepe from Lille. Arsenal reportedly spent €80 million to bring Pepe. And make Pepe as Arsenal's most expensive player
It's quite a good signing for Arsenal, Pepe is a good player and will add more quality to their team, but if the gunners harbour any desire to win the premier league this season, they need to do more in the transfer market.
For Window Transfer this season Arsenal cannot do much because they are limited by funds by Arsenal officials. Therefore Arsenal did not buy many players on the transfer this time. So they can still compete to become champions.

The fact that Kane, someone who was injured throughout Tottenham's most crucial phase last season, is there but not B.Silva is a fucking joke
This year's nominees looks quite so much comical to me,i am wondering what most of those guys are doing on that list, the omission of Bernardo silva who won four trophies with city and an additional one with Portugal is really crazy, but they always tend to go with the more marketable player, the ones capable of making billboards and all that, it's so wrong.

Arsenal finally inaugurated the move to Nicolas Pepe. Ivory Coast winger was the most expensive player in the history of the North London club.

The certainty of the transfer was announced by Arsenal on Thursday (1/8/2019) night WIB, after the contract business was completed. Though rumors about the move had circulated since two days ago and Lille had accepted Arsenal's offer.

Hopefully this purchase is not in vain for next season.

Is it that everyone is ok with the nominees or what? For me though, i don't understand what Harry Kane is doing on the list when Bernardo Silva and Alisson couldn't make the list
The fact that Kane, someone who was injured throughout Tottenham's most crucial phase last season, is there but not B.Silva is a fucking joke. But let's be honest, nominees are a joke this year, they put De Jong, the '100% pass accuracy' meme guy, above Allison, who was the best GK in the EPL and the CL, won the CL, and won the Copa America...Trophies and stats-wise, he's the best GK on the planet right now, but noo, GK's can't win individual awards so let's put Mbappe and De Light because marketing  Roll Eyes

I am going to make a bold prediction and say that one of the six teams that haven't been relegated since 1992 will be booted out of the EPL this season (one of these:Manchester United Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs or Everton).

Wanna bet...?  You know it's coming!  Grin  Let's make it small, my 10 bucks says none of those clubs will be relegated this season.

Edit:  LFC, have fun!

Man City vs Liverpool is always a good match but expect strange starting like ups & perhaps both teams not being 100% at their best. I know the Community Shield is a trophy, kind of but the real stuff starts next weekend.

My Sunday sorted  Cool

Have fun man  Grin If I were living in England that would be the match to see. What was the price of the ticket? Just curious.

I will probably come to London this year for one weekend just to catch 2 premier league matches. Have to chose perfect weekend when I can get one good game on Saturday and another one on Sunday. London is the best bet since they have so many teams in PL.

Is this true or just a joke? is it possible that something like that happened. I am really curious about this, because I did not find anything on Google related to this.

That's not possible...
There are many other teams that are weaker in the league and probably those will be relegated. The top teams will struggle for the championship not for the relegation...

It’s a lame joke or it’s quiet possible that he doesn’t even watch the premier league, but yet he decided to make a post about it. @Indamuck I hope you’re aware that Liverpool finished second in the Premier League last year, and they have one of the best squad in the league, now I’m awaiting @LFC_Bitcoin reaction on this.

My Sunday sorted  Cool

I’m not sure if you’ll believe it or not but I had an intuition you would be going for this match, it’s bound to be an exciting match and I hope Liverpool wins it tired of seeing Pep win everytime also do post photos if you can.

I'm not seeing any discussion about the FIFA best nominees here when the premier league was well represented. Is it that everyone is ok with the nominees or what? For me though, i don't understand what Harry Kane is doing on the list when Bernardo Silva and Alisson couldn't make the list, is it some form of compensation for Tottenham reaching the champions league finals or what? Tottenham fans, what was Harry kane stats last season that gave him the edge over Bernardo Silva, a winner of Premier League, FA Cup, Community Shield, EFL Cup, UEFA Nations league.

Maybe he was just joking about a large team that was degraded. Because there really isn't any rule in football that says that. So this is indeed not true.

Regardless, here's my not so bold 19/20 EPL relegation prediction: Newcastle, Southampton, Sheffield.

I hope Sheffield could do something like Wolves did in 18/19. It would be awesome to see another underdog trying to crush the big six.

This is epic. I already got a meme if this happens. Will be more epic if only three of them survive.

LOL that's not a bold prediction, that's just straight up insanity haha  Grin no but seriously, are you for real or am I too dense and didn't notice that you were joking?

preparation for MANCHESTER CITY, LIVERPOOL abstained from repeating errors against Napoli. This match was an opportunity for Liverpool to apply a number of improvement notes after a series of negative results.
The Champions League defending champions had previously picked up bad results: without a win in four pre-season matches.
In some friendly matches, Liverpool got a negative result, with the same squad last season they only getting 1 trophy, the result of this friendly match should have been a warning for Klopp to improve his team, at least buy some star players for refreshment and depth squad, still need a great striker which is greater than Firmino, coating for the Mo and Mane, Liverpool has not found it, even though it has brought in Shaqiri last season, its not enough.

A friendly match is totally different from the official games.
A negative result may be something positive for Klopp (if you consider that he tried to make something wrong and it proved that it was wrong).

It makes sense too, if Liverpool's pre-season negative results could mean the coach wants to try something new in his strategy. Actually that is the function of one of the pre-season for each club is to try their team and new strategies, whether they are suitable or not.

You're not right. for example:
Try to take out Jones, Young, Smalling, Lingard, Sanchez & Lukaku of Manchester United, you will see, they will play much better without them. Smiley

Lol, you’re not wrong there. Surely Man Utd will be better this season, they can’t be any worse, can they?
I suppose they have got ‘Ole at the wheel’......

Grin

 Grin Grin

Without CL they can focus on PL plus nobody expects serious results from him. He can play with no pressure and it is possible to be good. Also, solid signings, if speculation is correct about Dybala, Fernandes they can be competitive (not for 1st place of course). Still looks better than Real Madrid  Grin

Being in the EL is a drain though, especially in the group stages travelling to the arse end of Europe to play teams I can’t pronounce on pitches that look like a farmers field Cheesy

United will be better this season, they have to be or Ole will be out of a job before New Year.
