I watched the latest firendly matches of Chelsea and they seemed able to overcome Hazard's loss.
In my opinion, they won't suffer a lot from his leave. He was the best player in the team but now they are working more as a team and they are more creative than before that they were expecting Hazard to make a good move.

One match, and a friendly fixture at that is not enough to determine whether or not Chelsea will comfortably survive without the presence of hazard. You can say they'd become more of a team, but Eden was a team player and the reality is, good players make teams. He is a major loss to the club and also the English league.

The friendly match is not enough to ensure Chelsea have a good performance. But with every friendly match that exists, of course this will prove whether they have gone to the real level in the official competition. So they must be ready for the future and we have to admit Chelsea are starting to be good in each of their friendly matches.

All teams also never know what will happen in the future. At least Chelsea have been able to make a victory and it's true that they no longer depend on hazard. So this is like Chelsea who started a new breakthrough without having to be important in the team. All must work together, all will work as it should.

But Chelsea did manage to secure Pulisic before the Transfer Ban came into effect.
And thank God they did, pulisic is a very decent player and he dribbles quite well, just as Hazard does, Lampard would have loved to have Hazard at his disposal and also the possibility of signing players of his choice, but the ban is a hinderance, and I think Frank would build his team around pulisic.
I think the board would give Frank a target of a top four finish.

He is now Chelsea most creative player, maybe Kovacic can also step up his game. He is my fellow country man and we are waiting for him to fulfill his enormous potential for long time now. Hopefully this will be the season, after all he has already worked with Zidane and now with Lampard and those two definitely have something to teach players in CM position.
It will be interesting to see how Lampard is going to Play his central and defensive midfielders.
Sarri used to Play Kante in an advanced role, a position which under optimizes him.
Now with the availability Mateo Kovačić, Jorginho, N'Golo Kanté, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Danny Drinkwater and Tiemoué Bakayoko??( i think he is returning from his loan, right?
There is some good cover in the defensive and central midfield

If it was me I’d go with a central midfield three of Kovacic, Kante & Jorginho. I’d play Kante as the deeper of the tree. A front three would probably be a good idea too.

There is no hazard, Chelsea remains Chelsea. They are a team not just about hazard. By beating Barcelona, of course this is the beginning of a good belief for Lampard to always be consistent in every pre-season or other match.

If a team can't survive when they lost 1 player then they'll get a lot of problems. Liverpool, for example, failed to reproduce their achievement when Suarez or Torres left, but it seems they've learned to deal with it when Coutinho leaves.

I do think losing Hazard is regrettable for Chelsea but that's how football works. Either you deal with it or you will fail to win anything.

Loosing Hazard is a big hit for Chelsea however anybody tries to spin the story. There isn't many players like him in the world and definitely not in Chelsea. Granted, Pulisic is a good signing and should help them a bit, Willian has a lot of potential and maybe he will be able to show more now that he is not playing in Hazard shadow. Appointing Lampard as manager is very good choice since they have a transfer ban. I believe he will manage to get maximum from the players available and promote some new faces from youth squad. Transfer ban and Hazard leaving the club will even help him to start his work without much pressure since supporters aren't expecting fight for top positions this year (hopefully).

There are not so many players who maybe able to replace Eden Hazard or fill in his boots in this current transfer market

Exactly, that's what many people fail to understand especially @Harkorede. I have been observing his comment towards Chelsea appointing Lampard and losing Hazard pointing towards a awafu season. Well lets wait for the season to begin and preferable end so I can rub our success at his face Grin. Just hoping he'll still be active on the forum by then. Glad Lampard has started on a positive note, now he'll have more confidence that he can lead the boys to a successful season and hopefully end the season with either a trophy or top 4 finish might even achieve both.

Losing Hazard is imminent and would have happened someday one or the other, my only pity for Chelsea was that they didn't get the opportunity to replace him due to their transfer ban, but they'd have to live with it.

Lampard has started off on the right foot, but pre-seasons matches are never an indication of what the season holds.

If handled well, I think he might just try to relieve Chelsea off the stress from exit of Hazard. I am not saying he is as good as Hazard but hey, Legends have got to start off from somewhere, right?

They also have Willian and Pedro who will have to step up their game.

Still looking for this bet. I accidentally put £20 on Liverpool to win pretty much all competitions yesterday. Was just seeing how much the max bet was and actually submitted it:

PMSL. Was pretty pissed off but I guess I know who I'll be rooting for for everything this season. Probably more so than a Liverpool fan haha. I don't think anyone has ever won all four comps before have they?

I don't want to imagine your chances of winning your bet with Liverpool having Man City as a potential competitor on each of the four tournaments and of course no team in England has ever won all four competition in the same year. IIRC Man City were said to be the first team to win all England three major tournaments.

That’s correct but Man Utd won the real treble in 1999 (PL, FA Cup & CL). That was a lot more difficult than what Man City did.
Liverpool won a treble in 2001 too (FA Cup, League Cup & Europa League which was called the UEFA Cup at the time).

Well I would have rather put it on City to be honest, but I probably wouldn't have put more than £2 on each. I just hope the mistake turns out to be a blessing in disguise. It'll be pretty exciting if Liverpool are doing really well in all competitions as they progress.

Also another bump:

If anyone wants to sign up for the Premier League predictor pool please check out the thread here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitcointalks-2019-champions-league-pool-sign-up-thread-5154317

If you think you know your PL football then put your money where you mouth is and win some prizes. All money is split between the top five winners and the more people that join the bigger the pot gets. Hopefully the price of BTC will rise during the season and stops a couple of days before the next halving so we could end up with an expanding pot like the first pool (though obviously the opposite is also true   Grin).

Also don't forget the prizes superbru offer as well:

Quote
£50,000 to be won every week
You could win up to £50,000 depending on the number of exact scores you can predict in each round of 10 matches!

- 10 exact scores: £50,000
- 9 exact scores: £10,000
- 8 exact scores: £1,000
- 7 exact scores: £500
- 6 exact scores: Your choice of Premier League jersey
- 5 exact scores: A Superbru Yellow Cap

The odds of winning them are pretty ridiculous but it can be done. Here are the winners from last season:

Gotta be in it to win it. Would be awesome if somebody won one of the prizes from here.

Frank Lampard was very satisfied with the performance of the Blues. "I am very happy. It is really good on and off the pitch. Especially today, I see there are many very signs of what we have done, which is very good. There is a lot to improve, but this is a good trip," LAmpard said on the official Chelsea website.
Chelsea managed a 2-1 win over Barcelona in a pre-season match. In Saitama Stadium 2002, Saitama, Japan, Tuesday (7/23/2019).

Never a bad thing beating Barcelona at any level in any competition. I think Lampard has a tough job this season though, they’ve sold Hazard & can’t replace him due to the transfer ban. I think if Lampard can somehow get Chelsea top 4 it’d be seen as a good season.
This is a good start for Lampard and Chelsea. Because with satisfactory results, of course they are ready in every official competition for the 19/20 season. At a minimum, their hopes might be like that, to be able to enter the Champions League next season again, it is a pride for Lampard to be able to bring Chelsea at least to enter the UCL zone.

De Gea's future in MU is getting brighter. De Gea is rumored to be signing a new contract after MU's preseason tour. His dream in the future would always be in the team and his desire to become the main captain might be one of the motivations that kept DE GEA alive.

I think the only way De Gea’s future at club level gets brighter is if he leaves Man Utd. They’re terribke & he’s wasting his career at a crap club in the Europa League.

Oh man, you are talking about Manchester United, not Doncaster Rovers (with all due respect to this club and his supporters). MU is one of the biggest clubs in the world and one or two bad seasons is not enough to call them "crap club".

Well it is 2019 and whilst obviously they're not the greatest team it is quite funny to think that they're not even a top 5 club right now and it could get worse. I'm sure they'll have their day again but I can't see it being anytime soon. I found these videos about Man U from the Dream Team youtube channel pretty funny:

the ball is round. Everything is possible. Just remember, season 2017/18 he finished in the second position, just behind Man.City who have a brutal team. For example, Smalling, Jones, Yang (probably worst players in MU) and De Gea already won Premier League with Man.UTD, while none of Liverpool players did succeed with the current club(same thing in Arsenal, Tottenham)
Just want to say, two good players with a good season, plus little team chemistry can change everything (Leicester City). Manchester United have the power of money and certainly will not surrender and satisfying with the middle of the table.
After 26 years of dominance with SAF it's expected a transition period.
