Manchester won easily the FA Cup with a 6-0.
They finished successfully this season as they did a double ground as they won both the Cup and the championship.

Watford made a decent performance in the competition but they weren't in position to challenge the title today.

Manchester City won decisively and Watford failed to offer any resistance, which is kind of disappointing when you see how well they played in the competition prior to this match. This victory means Manchester United preseason will not end early, thanks to Manchester City winning the cup.

Does Guardiola said anything about his future after the final?

I know what he said yesterday but if City will be not on UCL next year I doubt he will stay.

Also he Said the same thing back when he was on Bayern before goes to Man City...

I really hope he comes to Juventus Grin

If Manchester City are not in champions league then he’ll definitely leave them, but so far he’s remained silent on his future.

Has Pep finally established himself in the English Premier league?
I think he has. And he's accomplished several things that other legendary managers in England weren't able to do. Pep with Man City so far:

- Record of most points in a season (100).
- Won the domestic treble: FA, league cup, league title. First time ever in english football.
- Won every single domestic tournament (4) in one season. Again, first time ever.

English Football has not seen such level of dominance I think since Ferguson's Man Utd when they won the EPL three times in a row...twice.

Guardiola now doesn't need to prove himself as one of the best Coaches of this modern football era, I have read a lot of comments including that of Mourinho about the titles he's won in Spain and Germany they said those leagues weren't competitive enough, but now here we are in England regarded as the most competitive league in Europe and he's doing it yet again.

Manchester won easily the FA Cup with a 6-0.
Lost my bet Sad Watford didn't stand a chance today, it felt like City were at their own training ground and Watford were the youth academy training with the first team.

Fun fact: the last time a team won by 6 goals in the FA Cup was over 100 years ago. 1903, Bury 6-0 Derby County.

City won the domestic treble, plus 4 out 5 tournaments this season (FA Cup, EPL, league cup, Community Shield...Champions League still remains a distant dream). We're in the Manchester City era.

Also, what a way to start the next season: Man City vs Liverpool in the Community Shield  Shocked
City felt really good in this game and we can see that by taking a look at the possession of 69%. Of course they always have a high possession but usually after you score over 3 goals you give some of it to the other team. That didn't happened today and that's exactly why the match ended with this score of 6-0. They've shown what they are capable of if they are playing at maximum level for the entire 90 minutes.

Would be much nicer if Liverpool won a trophy and earned their place in Community shield rather then getting because City won everything and they were 2nd best in the league. In situations like this I would automatically award Community shield to City as well. That being said I will be looking forward to that game very much because both teams will want to make the statement at beginning of next season and we could have a much more competitive game than usual in these type of super cup competitions.

FA Cup final today. City vs Watford. The Citizens have the chance of winning the domestic treble  Shocked

What are the chances that we see upset? Bookies have Watford win @10/1 odds, City won both EPL games against The Hornets, so people think it's like mission impossible for Watford...But what if they can actually pull off an epic win just like Wigan did back in the 2013 fa cup final against the Citizens? Anyone rooting for Watford?

I think I'm gonna play it safe and just go for City win and BTTS @2.60 (:

3-0 to Man City, 20 minutes to go. Watford had a great chance to go 1-0 up but Ederson saved well. Watford could also have had a penalty at 0-0. You have to take your chances against City or they will punish you.

It's now 5 goals!

Watford's woeful run against Man City continues, Man City are just so good at that, in 5inminutes they'd seem to be in trouble and before you know ot they are well out of sight.

That's another record about to get smashed by the Cityzens 🙌🙌

I don't like Leeds so I'm glad that Derby won the match as I have always had a soft spot for Derby because I like when underdog teams come from the bottom to win. Just like they did back in the day when the rivalry between these two clubs was at its peak and when Brian Clough was the manger.

I'm very happy for Derby, and I hope they can win the final playoffs and against Aston Villa on the 27th of this month, although I like Aston Villa as well and whoever wins the match is fine with me.

This playoffs shows another side of what playoffs can be both Leeds United and West Brom finished 3rd and 4th respectively on the championship table and they finished 9 points and 4 points ahead of Derby who were 6th and Aston Villa who were 5th respectively, It ends being the 4th and 5th going to the playoff finals.

What caught my attention in yesterday's fixture was that Chelsea got the 3rd place. And not because they won, but because Everton managed to get a tie against Tottenham. It was a great gift from Everton to Chelsea Cool

I don't think there's any difference for finishing either 3rd or 4th position in the premier league, In the end both teams are automatically qualified for group stages of the Champions League next season, except if there's a difference in the what the FA would pay respective teams for finishing in either position, but I still doubt it would be a significant difference for the club, if it were to be so.
It's true there is no different because both teams will qualified to the champions league next season but the problem is what if Arsenal win Europa League.

So is premier league will get 5 team spots for champions league or one of the team will eliminated for champions league spot?

I think 5 teams will get a place in the Champions League there is no reason to disqualify one of them
What needs to be questioned is if Arsenal are the champions then who takes the place for the European League ? wolves ?

There is a new thing which can make some changes. Manchester City has ban problem with signing new players and possible ban from Champions League for one year. If Arsenal wins Europa League, then Man. United have the chance to go in CL.

source: https://talksport.com/football/511655/manchester-city-fifa-transfer-window-ban/

This problem is still under investigation, I heard the club owner prepared 200 million pounds to buy players in the next season

I would be happy to see Derby County winning this game, but unfortunately Leeds United play and exciting football. Coach Bielsa has done an amazing work to the team and I think that they deserve to win it and see them next year in the Premier League as the old days.

I would love too see Derby back in the EPL too, I think Derby are the most unfortunate team in the Championship, they play in the playoff almost every year for the 4-6 years in row now, but they always they get eliminated along the way. They always have a bright start to every season but keep dropping points when approaching the end of the season.

Wtf is this horse sh*t?  The CL is so damn hard to win cos of its format.  It's a tourney format played with two matches each and you're out if you lose the aggregate or thru penalites if tied in aggregate.  Luck becomes more of a factor.  Couple that with playing the best in Europe and the EPL's more hectic schedule and you got a much harder time to win it imho.

It's already amazing there are two EPL clubs that survived and went to the final.
Not all tied matches leads to a penalty shooutout, you also need to factor in that away goals have a way to determine on whose leading in the aggregate. But I do have to agree with you that luck has some kind of factor in the Champions League that is why you see a lot of underdogs and Football clubs we don't even know defeat and upset top tier teams in Europe. By that I think the matches are made so that teams have an even chances to reach the final and it has been proven by a lot of underdogs in the past.
I'm not sure about this but I heard somewhere that this rule where goals scored away will not anymore be an advantage from next year in Europe and Champions League. I think this will be great because we've seen many great teams this year being removed just because the other team had the advantage of scoring more goals away. The best example is Man City because if it weren't for this rule they would have more than surely knock out Tottenham.
Harlot, was actually right because the officials believed scoring when away is more difficult than scoring at home and for this reason they usually consider the level of away goals scored to choose the winner ties matches instead of penalties.
But, it will be bad if the rules where away goals won't be an advantage anymore and I think we have to keep our fingers cross wait to confirm if what Make money said was truth.

^  Leeds lead the Championship for like two thirds of the season then went thru some rough patches.  But yeah, I'd like to see them go up too.  They were the sh*t back in the day.

I did not follow Championship this year, and I don't know what is his chance, but I hope Leeds can win and to see them in Premier League next year. They deserve to be in PL.
