The premier league is already strong.
I don't think that we are going to see big signings from teams in EPL this season. Probably more outgoing that inbound.

I think Man Utd will make signings, they have to. They’re still a massive club deapute recent struggles. If they want to get back amongst the big boys competing for the big trophies they’re going to have to spend to compete.

No big signings in the PL yet, only outgoing - Hazard going to Real Madrid which will make them a lot weaker.
I guess players will start moving soon, the new season isn’t really all that long away.

I think with the release of eden hazard from the English league it does not reduce the essence of the league itself. but just as you say the English league also needs to make a big transfer so that the existence of the English league remains the best league.

@tokeweed - That’s OK man. I wish you the very WORST of luck in this bet obviously. Hope you understand why Wink

Lmao.  Let's hope for another close one tho.  Last season was fun!  Grin

Oh and the fixtures for 2019/20 are out:  https://www.premierleague.com/fixtures

I'm more excited this year than I did last year for some reason.

@LFC_Bitcoin and @tokeweed I feel you both are underestimating Tottenham cause last year they brought no players, but now they’re planning to invest in the transfer market. I’m hoping Manchester United mount a title challenge, and I know it’s not going to happen but as a Manchester United all I can hope this is our season. Which early fixture has got you excited, and I believe you already are planning to play a bet on it.

Mmmm...  We'll see.  I don't think Tottenham could compete vs City, LFC and United in attracting players to play for them tho.  Agents hate dealing with deal with Daniel Levy.  Grin

Chelsea would be the ideal scenario for him
Mourinho to Chelsea just cannot happen for the third time, no because he doesn't suit them, but for me it's cos his relationship with the Chelsea faithfuls has deteriorated over the past seasons.
Jibes have been thrown at him on his return to the bridge with united, also Jose being the controversial figure he is kept painting it to the Chelsea faithfuls that he's the most successful manager in their history, raising his three fingers up to indicate 3 premier league title with them(happened in the game at Old Trafford last season), this act didn't further help his course with the fans, rather it made things worse.

For all this reasons I doubt the fans would accept him, and the club would not want to cause a stir or uproar with the fans.

Mourinho to Newcastle as well wouldn't happen in our lifetime, way below his standards.

Chelsea would be the ideal scenario for him, the team is not going for championship so he can park the bus and just let them get into Europe next year and that would be enough.
I doubt he will go back to Chelsea for the third time. That would be so dramatic. Maybe some top clubs in France or Italy would do for him for now
yes I agree, Mourinho should be in another league that he has never tried or returned to Italy and made controversy in Italy so that the Italian league is back in the spotlight lol.

Mourinho won't go to a place like Newcastle, that team is far below his talents and he would not be paid as high as he used to be. Of course, it could happen if his last stint in united made his reputation so low and made him unwanted so much that he is forced to accept Newcastle and nobody else wants him but I doubt that is the case.

^ ^  Sorry LFC.  Trofo got dibs.

Anybody wanna do a bet?  My 30 (USD) for your 20 says City's gonna win the EPL next season.  Take your pick.  If another club wins besides ours, it's a draw.  Open to anybody trusted.  Smiley

Trofo in 3...  2...  1...   Grin

I am thinking City wins it as well but 20 USD isn't much so why the hell not. I'll go with Liverpool (surprise, surprise). Just to clarify it 100%, if Liverpool wins the title you pay me 30$, if City wins the title I pay 20$ to you. If any other team is Champion the bet is void. Bet is made in USD and payed out in BTC as per conversion rate at the time of bet closure.

Quote the post to confirm it.

Quoted and confirmed!  I think it's gonna go to the wire between Pep and Klopp again.  Good luck!  Smiley

The news that Morinho will train New Castle for next season's premier league is still confusing, there are rumors saying that Morinho will train one of the Italian league clubs in Serie A, AC Milan. Even so, Jose Morinho opened the chance to make a sensational comeback to Chelsea, Chelsea opened the opportunity to hook Morinho's jose for the third time, as a potential replacement for Maurizio Sarri
it looks a little strange but what makes this precisely from Mourinho himself, we know Mourinho is typical of people who often create controversy, we just wait for the news about which club he will train.

^  Mou to Newcastle could be close to a possibility of happening if the Shiek's cousin buys the club.  But knowing Mou, if it isn't Chelsea or Man United, I don't think he'll be managing another EPL club unless he's reeaallyy desperate for a job.
It could be exciting to see other clubs in the top 7 but unfortunately Rome was not built in one day so if Newcastle had a new owner it would take a couple of years before the started to get profits from their investments as City did.

Is their any bet here because this looks like a lose lose for anyone playing or betting against city.

Liverpool is a good challenger don't write them off early, perhaps the team able to upset the wager Roll Eyes

Doubt we will see another Leicesiter City type run again, that fluke was miraculous but the rich teams will continue to dominate.

I'm not sure how accurate this data is but Manchester United is the most valued team and it is placed at $4billion.

6 of the top 10 most valuable teams are in the EPL.

Mou, who said he would open talks with the new Newcastle club owner. I think it will be interesting if a star coach like Mourinho trains a club like Newcastle. Mourinho will definitely bring top players to Newcastle clubs if he becomes a coach there.

The talk that Mourinho is going to be Newcastle coach for the upcoming season of the Premier League is going on from sometime now.

I think that because of this ,a lot of talking regarding this topic we will see it come true in the coming weeks or maybe in the beginning of August but I think it should become official sooner than that.
if this happens the Premier league will be interesting, I think there will be a lot of star players coming to Newcastle. although this looks very difficult to attract the interest of top players to the club but with Mourinho it can happen.
