Easy win for Tottenham today with a huge score.
The Spurs seem that they are alive in the chase of the 4rd place and it will be interesting to see 4 teams keep challenging this position.

HT Spurs 2 0 Huddersfield Town. Huddersfield is the weakest team in the premier league and it seems that Tottenham will not encounter obstacles to collect 3 points from this game. They might rotate players in the second half for champions league preparation.

I've been saying the same thing.  Mike Ashley really needs to give a larger budget to spend on players that Benitez actually wants and needs.  They'd be way better than the Wolves ffs.

Only problem Spurs decided to save their main players for Champions League. That includes Son, Trippier and Toby (can't be bothered to spell his last name). But they are looking good anyway and should take 3 points. If it gets rough I am sure Son will play a part in the second half.

My Spurs play the first game today and the weather is looking really good. No Kane as he got injured but our lovely and beautiful Son seems to like to score at our new stadium, so I hope we have a good game. We really need to build on the wins, if we can somehow gain momentum and knock out City next week, and then we can have a lot of lift for the Premier League game against City,,, it is a tough end of season but we can do it.

Important games in the battle for top 4 today -

Man Utd vs West Ham
Spurs vs Huddersfield

Man Utd & Spurs can’t really afford anything except a win if they want to get top 4.

thought the same for Leicester especially with the new BOOST Youri brought so far.

chelsea just F***ed up, I think they will make it for champions league tickets or here or @uefa.... but they just didn't inject their team with enough quality to keep someone as HAZARD and to let him really preform his TOP-game, i'm not a "real fanboy" but I would love to see HAZARD play in a team as Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man City, Liverpool or wherever the managers are trying to get their hands on quality players and chelsea ain't doing that last seasons, they don't spend money, I agree they have good players but not as other teams, only Kante, Kepa, and the new guy Hudson odoi are real quality, but Higuain is getting over his best times, Pedro and Willian not effective enough, Kovacic has still to prove himself, for defense maybe Alonso is good enough but is having a not so good season, central defenders just making to much errors especially Rudiger, i'm amazed they still up so high, and yes I think its almost all of hazard why they are up so high.

Still I think Sunday will be a very important game "premier title related" between LFC and Chelsea, looking forward to that game and hoping my man hazard is having an OFF-day

If LFC wins then there is big pressure on Man City, they lose to the Spurs @champions league so have to go real full their, and need to face them back in the league as they have to face MAN U....

Maybe City will have a hard time on Palace as well, lets hope so, Palace is having some good periods from time to time

Well damn me. I got Newcastle on the spot but I HAD to parlay it with a French game and bloody Nantes beat Lyon haha. Woulda been a really sweet x26 parlay had I chose 2 upsets. Shoulda just gone for the 6/1 single and my man Ayoze woulda got it in for me. Either way, happy with this. I really want Newcastle staying up. Don't even really know why. Nostalgia I guess, plus if they play like this without Ashlyy's purse, imagine what happens when they do have money to spend.

I think it's not about money again, if Chelsea can't qualify to the champions league, i'm sure it will make Hazard move to other team.

What a bad result for Leicester, they can't win vs Newcastle at their home match. I thought leicester can win this match easily.

But Money can hold hazard to stay in Chelsea, because abramovich will certainly do that to their assets. what Chelsea need right now is a coach who is closer to the player. they have very good player material, why they can't win the league?

Winning UCL is more important tham PL I think Because in UCL you play with all the top teams of the world. When you can win both, It's a plus obviously.Man City will struggle to win rest of the PL matches.Because ManCity will face team like  spurs, ManU soon.OTOH, Liverpool Won't face any big opponents.So, I think it will be more tough for Man City to maintain thier performance and win EPL of this season.              

Newcastle with an Impressive away win against Leicester City, Newcastle are now 10 points clear off the danger zone and they look certain to remain in the premier league. Leicester City dominated the match in terms ball possession but Newcastle didn't fall short in terms of goal attempts and shots on goal.

Liverpool not only has to win all the games that are following but they also hope for a City's lose.
I expect that City will be unbeatable till the end. I saw that Guardiola is more focused on the Premier League Title than in Champions League so it is clear that he will do everything possible to get the title.

At least Liverpool is a little more profitable because in the next few weeks this team will only get one big game, which is against Chelsea this weekend. Different from Man City must face several big matches. It looks like Liverpool can only hope for these big matches and of course, they have to win the rest of the match this season to become the Premier League champions.

Liverpool is surely going to take advantage of this situation and because they are playing home they should easily secure their qualification for next round after this match.
With the second match things are quite different. Tottenham is not playing great in the last matches but they could anytime surprise you since they have some great players in the team. But still, City is definitely the better team here and I think they will be happy with a draw here most likely a 1-1 and then when they get back home easily win and move on to the next round.

This season's two premier league championship teams will soon be competing in the follow-up UCL match, maybe for Liverpool, this match will be a little easier because they will only fight the underdogs while Manchester City has to fight against fellow Premier League teams Tottenham. These two teams I'm sure will work hard to secure points in this first match. Let's place bets for these two matches, it looks like the draw will be closer in the match between the two teams from the premier league.

Chelsea got the win but honestly that was some Phyrric victory right there. They can't be even too happy about the win considering the two rivals they have right now (even three) of Tottenham and arsenal and united all are one game behind so they could be at 6th position yet again if they all win (which is doable).

I mean Watford and Westham and all that is gonna play with arsenal and united so its doable and Tottenham has Huddersfield so we all know they gonna get 3 points whereas Chelsea will play Liverpool and we know Liverpool at this stage won't lose any points.

This is just a "better than nothing" for Chelsea but it is certainly not a good day for them even with a win and we rarely see a win mean nothing for a team at this level so it is definitely unique in situation. Premier league is definitely in a commonly happened before but certainly competitive level at the top 6 positions (1-2 between each other and 3-4-5-6 all between each other).

Yeah, that's another good view of the issue. but I'm not sure what Chelsea decision would be, Lose about an hundred million deal to save their status next season or get hundred million and probably get screwed over the next season then go fully in on the transfer market after the ban get's lifted.

Thats true, actually hazard is a player who is loved by fans and abramovich also, he might give a clause that cannot be rejected by hazard, of course for a big salary. I think Chelsea has a very great squad you know, the beginning of season Chelsea was great in the every match, but when internal problems arise, they start to weaken

But really, how many years does he have left in his contract?  If he doesn't sign a new deal, Chelsea would have no choice but to sell him to whoever's willing to buy, cos surely he'll be around 100m GBP.

Edit:  And yup...  Chelsea will be out of the top 4 (prolly out of the top 6) if they lose Hazard and if the transfer ban holds.
