Supporting Liverpool is like backing the wrong horse. They don't have the champions mindset, born losers and inconsistent. Am already regretting supporting them for the championship this year.
What was your motivation to support them. Winning a bet or anything? If that is it then this does not call support.
There are emotions all over when you go and support something. Culture, interest, surroundings a lot of factors influence to support a team.
A true supporter will always back their team no matter if they are doing good or bad.
We call these bandwagon fans here in America. Suddenly no one is a fan of the Cavs anymore after Lebron left. The same thing happened in Miami.
Also liverpool fans seem to treat players that underperform very badly. Fernando Torres put in a lot of good years for Liverpool but that fans show little appreciation.
There's always going to be temporary fans. Just like in real life, you have friends surrounding you when you're on the up but the minute success leaves you, your life is quiet and these previous friends are like flies surrounding someone else.
And there are always going to be ungrateful fans. I don't think it's fair to say Liverpudlians are 1 shade or another. Just see the reception ex players and managers get when they visit Anfield. I always loved El Nino, it's only the likes of Sterling whom we don't feel love for, because of the way they chose to leave and the circumstances they could have avoided.
To each his own, we don't need temporary fans and life goes on for everyone, I think it's nice to live for the moment and forgive everyone their trespasses;)
City should win today, yes they needed a penalty 2 games ago, and also won 1-0 from a benchwarmer but they tried 15 times if I recall so deserve it. All the same, 20/1 odds for Watford is sweet as sugar.
