Supporting Liverpool is like backing the wrong horse. They don't have the champions mindset, born losers and inconsistent. Am already regretting supporting them for the championship this year.
What was your motivation to support them. Winning a bet or anything? If that is it then this does not call support.

There are emotions all over when you go and support something. Culture, interest, surroundings a lot of factors influence to support a team.

A true supporter will always back their team no matter if they are doing good or bad.

We call these bandwagon fans here in America.  Suddenly no one is a fan of the Cavs anymore after Lebron left.  The same thing happened in Miami.

Also liverpool fans seem to treat players that underperform very badly.  Fernando Torres put in a lot of good years for Liverpool but that fans show little appreciation.

It is all up to Manchester City now , I think tha also that they have tougher games ahead , right now they remain heavy favourites to win the title. Liverpool had a lot of chances and at one point were almost six point ahead and they could't manage the pressure of the Premier League.

Liverpool's mentality seems to have not returned. With the many opportunities available to stabilize the first position, which is wasted, now they are even in a depressed position. The race for the title will be exciting until the end of the competition and the team that has good mentality will be the winner.

Maybe you can't understand some fillings. It is not mandatory for people to support the club only if it is the league winner. You look like someone who supports the only team on top of the table. Your opinion cannot be relevant. I support MU, and for me, it's the worst scenario, Liverpool, to be champion and it's very hard for me to say that is less painful if M.City wins the league.
Both teams have a few very difficult games, and everything is open. I think there will be very important next round of the Champions League. MC there has bigger pressure and here is a Liverpool chance.

Sort of agree, every time it comes to the crunch they seem to fall short. They have all the players, the coach but it seems not the mentality & that’s half of what it takes to be a champion.

Now that manchester city has managed to take a number one position, Liverpool are currently under pressure because they have had a difficult match in the past few weeks. Liverpool must try to improve their consistency and not lose any more points. Liverpool's chances in the last 10 matches are very risky. Manchester City's performance at the top will create tremendous concern for supporters of the Reds, this is an opportunity to win the EPL and not have to repeat it again next year.

It would be interesting to see the EPL institute a salary cap like the NBA does.  Would even out the playing field instead of having the same teams finish at the top every year.

Would be a great idea, would stop artifical clubs like Man City dominating.

Isn't the Financial Fair-play supposed to deal with this kind of issue ?
Just kiddin' !  Grin

They side step it with dodgy sponsorship deals. I think Etihad Airways pay them a shit load of money per season to sponsor the stadium. It’s a state owned company so they’re effectively paying themselves to sponsor their own stadium.

Football was much better before oil money & states with questionable human rights records started coming into football. Take me back to the 80’s - 90’s. I think it’s why Fergie left, the soul has gone from football. I mean how are PSG even anywhere too, Chelsea & Man City - UGLY.

I'm really enjoying the current outcome of how the EPL table looks like. Liverpool and man city fighting for the trophy and Tottenham, Man United, Arsenal and chelsea also battling for the third  and fourth positions in order to qualify for the champions league.....  Grin Grin    But I think Liverpool is gonna win the EPL trophy. Its not gonna be easy for them.

Liverpool is in a decline. If you saw the table at 30th December they were 10 points ahead of Manchester City and see what the table looks like now at the top.
I would agree with some guys that call Liverpool, "Looserpool"
The league is now in favor of Manchester City and I think that due to the quality and the experience that the players have, they are going to win it before we even realize.

I really don't know why though, but every bit of me wants Man City to win the EPL this season, even though I feel extremely sorry Liverpool but I probably just like Guardiola that much!
I have a feeling Man City will fail to win either of their next two matches, after 2 consecutive 1 - 0 win
Man City deserve to win but i also want Liverpool want the premier league this season lol. The problem is Liverpool sometimes can't win against middle team, on the other hand Man City always win against middle team even with only 1-0 goal. The momentum is back to Man City now, can they keep winning for the rest of the match.

City definitely favourites to win the title but look at this for a run of fixtures in between an almost guaranteed CL 1/4 final (2 legs).

14th April - C Palace (A)
20th April - Spurs (H)
24th April - Man U (A)
28th April - Burnley (A)

CL 1/4 final will be played between them too

Agree, City favourites but it’s only 1 point. Liverpool have lost 1 PL game all season. City have lost 4.
9 games is 27 points to play for, it’s not over, not by a long shot.

1 point gap with 9 games remaining, both teams still have equal chance to win league. As it is soccer where anything may happen, just in case the worst scenario happens if both teams lose too many points in the next 9 games then Totenham may overtake the position. It sounds impossible but who knows?
Liverpool indeed have 1 lost only but they have too much draw result. Draw results which actually could be won by them easily imo. They should maximize all "easy" winning against lower quality teams for the remaining games.

Life, Love and Laughter...
I wonder what made Rodgers decide to leave a possibility of a legendary status at Celtic for a mediocre club like Leicester.  Lmao.  Money?

Has to be money, also winning the SPL is like taking candy from a baby. Rangers are getting better but it’s still a one team league.

But still, he had a chance for immortality if he wins an unprecedented treble at Celtic.  And leaving those fans in the middle of it all, for a meh club, does make him look like one giant classless prick, doesn't it?

Yup, had to be money...  Lol.

But Liverpool chocks very badly they was much ahead but lately fail to handle pressure of leader so now they need to do some extra ordinary work for coming leader again which is very difficult as City is also now doing some good and responsible work for gaining championship.

I expected this to happen to tell you the truth. Manchester City has more players that have played in big clubs for many years and they are able to control the pressure much better than Liverpool's players. Last weeks Liverpool squad was under huge pressure as City had started closing the gap. I still believe that City will be the Premier League winner more than ever now.
