I think you can rule them out of the PL title race now
IMO they never were a main candidate to win the PL, they were simply one of the main candidates to reach top 4 (specifically 3rd or 4th place) at the end of the season.

On Champions League they also almost have 0 chances without Kane.
That's bold. I wouldn't rule them out completely tbh, Tottenham still have a lot of firepower in their squad. Sure, it'll be harder without your main goalscorer, but I'm confident that Poch and his players will put up a good fight.

It’s a disaster for Tottenham to lose Kane for a long period. I know they have a good squad but Kane is without doubt their number one threat.

I think you can rule them out of the PL title race now & no chance in the CL.

My point exactly, I didn't initially see Tottenham as a title contender. But they might however lose out on the top 4 slot aa well if proper care isn't taken and the fact that there's just a mere 7 points difference between them at 3rd and Manchester United as 6 makes it more feasible
for them to lose out on the top 4 race.

Btw, I have never put and predicted Tottenham as a potential champion in the PL, by losing Kane now then I think the results will still not be much different because Tottenham have players who are good enough in every line and I'm sure they can still maintain their position at least in the top 4 in the standings until the end of the season.

They are out of the Premier League from a long time now and not only them but everyone else except Liverpool and Manchester City. Other teams miss the quality of the two leading teams so Premier League is over in this sense. The title will be decided between the two leading teams. On Champions League they also almost have 0 chances without Kane.

Hmm, I wouldn't say that their season is over, they lose some goals with Kane injured, sure, but it's not like the rest of the squad can't score goals, Dele Alli, Eriksen, Moura, Lamela, and Son once he returns, they still have a lot of quality players to fight in both the EPL and the Champions League.

Of course, I'd say that over and over again! Not solely because of Kane's absence but we all know what Tottenham have been in the approximately last 10 matches over the past few seasons, they'd always go from being a title contender to barely finishing 3rd or  4th. And playing at multiple fronts including the champions league, league cup and the FA cup would be very exhausting and demanding for these players.

With Kane out until March (missing the CL games and the league cup semi finals), Son on the Asian Cup for like a month, and Llorente being the only replacement in the foward position, I wonder if Daniel Levy will finally go and spend some money on a new signings...There's Morata who's currently looking for a new club, I think he would be a decent signing for Spurs, though if they want him, they better start moving now because Atletico Madrid is also interested in the spaniard.

Losing kane is big blow and their season could be over already, I just hope they'll at least be able to keep up the top four spot. About signing a new striker, I doubt Tottenham would be willing to splash out big cash on a striker like Morata, and Chelsea definitely wouldn't let him go cheaply either, the transfer seems like a dead end, They could however turn to Atletico Madrid where Nikola Kalinic is surplus to requirement despite just signing last summer.

For Juan Mata, I think there seems to be a few club offers. A player who will be free at the end of the season, I guess, is not getting too much. You also need to take a striker for Chelsea as well.

As i have been reading about his injury is not so much dangerous
So maybe press has forgot to add maximum one month
It can be to big lost for Spurs to lost him for most important games

You mean Kane?  It's two months from what I've been reading...

toke is right, all media outlets in the UK are reporting 7-8 weeks which will derail Spurs I reckon.
They are already losing Son at the moment to the Asia games.

Although I'm not glad Liverpool will remain at the top because they have a great team, although they have not been in some form for the last time. Man Utd is experiencing a complete transformation that I am glad of, because they are one of the favorite teams, in a fantastic form, Chelsea is not constant in the victories, and they are well ahead, the leader Kane decided in the game with Chelsea and one part they have resolved, the visible end . My prediction is that Man Utd can reach the top 4 teams and return to the old, Liverpool will win, while City and Spurs remain in their positions.

^  When Man U vs Arsenal?  Grin

I think Man United has a better chance getting into top 4 than the Gunners imho, granted that Tottenham does start declining without Kane.  United has the better squad man for man compared to Arsenal.

Bad news for Spurs Kane is injured it could be even one month break so he can miss CL games even
I guess Arsenal and Manchester United would have a higher chance to get into the top 4 spots on the table now as Tottenham would surely be struggling to score goals without Harry Kane, Son Heung-Min will not be able to play for Tottenham temporarily too due to the Asian Cup tournament, I think it will be a difficult period for Tottenham to endure until Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min returns to the team.

I think they are saying it could be a 7 week lay off so if that was true then he will miss both CL legs of the last 16.
He has had similar injuries before though & he’s a quick healer so it wouldn’t surprise me if he returns quicker than predicted.

I hate Liverpool & City, can’t anybody save us from the choice of these two winning the title?

Grin Grin

Seriously both are very, very good teams. I can’t call it at the moment. It’s too close & I think it will go to the last couple of games. Neither of them drop many points, the pace they set is relentless hence why nobody else can keep up.

I hate City, but not so much because they are evil, just that they win too easily, and teams give up when playing them. I don't hate Liverpool though, they have always had players I liked even though I don't support them.

I don't mind Arsenal winning, ever, or even Spurs, but they keep not winning and now missing Kane and Son, I don't think they can survive January. I don't mind Chelsea now, but they were always easy to hate. United also, always easy to hate, they had good players but always have terrible characters at the club. And keep attracting characters I don't like like Sanchez.

What's interesting about Liverpool and City this season is they are both not perfect, so yes, very close season.

It's terrible news for Spurs. Kane isn't expected back to training until March, so it will be April before he playing again. He'll be out for both Dortmund games, the Carabao Cup and games against Chelsea and Arsenal. Moura is still injured, and Son is about to leave for the Asian Games for a month as well. All they've got left is Llorente, who is inconsistent at best.

Spurs will be very lucky to hold on to top 4 now, especially with the new run of from Man Utd find themselves in with OGS.
