Liverpool wouldn't just put youth team on the pitch against wolverhampton, I am sure some people will eventually rest but I think even if they want to go with some bench players instead their bench probably out class wolverhampton. In the end if they do not do well as much as they hope they can just subsitute in the better players instead.

Hence, I think this should be an easy win for Liverpool. I am not too sure what will happen to them at later stages because fighting on three sides with the league, the champions league and FA cup is tiring but it is not this stage where they will be eliminated. They will surely go on to the next stage easily, maybe quarter finals or semi finals will be where they are just too tired and can't play anymore. For this game I would say both Liverpool win is possible but at least 1.5 goals looks good too.

Difficult to predict games like Wolves vs Liverpool. Normally if it was a PL game I would think Liverpool but they have the PL & CL to fight for so they may make lots of changes for the FA Cup.

Verdict - Definitely not one to bet on.
Recently i have read the news that Liverpool will play without Salah and Firminho although this news not officially come from Liverpool team but possibly they will play with reserve players and indeed the results could be unpredictable that Liverpool aren't too strong if they really play with those players but i would like to testing my luck with pick both teams to score

I also heard the news but some information also said that they would play in the second round
So we can wait until half-time is complete if there are no goals then place bets in the second half
Btw Both teams to score aren't bad choices because Liverpool play away.

FA Cup weekend...not many exciting games since we're in the early stages of the competition. So far, it seems like the big teams and other teams from the EPL are not having too much problem advancing to the next round. Spurs, Man Utd, and Chelsea, manage to win their respective games (Arsenal are up 1-0 against Blackpool right now). West Ham, Everton, Burnley, and Brighton, also won their games.

Man City are playing against Rotherham tomorrow, should be an easy game. And Liverpool will play against Wolves next monday. Pool beat Wolves a couple of weeks ago in the EPL, I'm thinking we'll see the same result in this cup.

Pretty much you are correct, those early rounds of competition are boring because super rich and strong PL clubs are "strolling through the park". Maybe some teams are not fascinated with FA cup but still I don't expect big scalps in this round.

Brighton should not be a challenge for Liverpool at all, no matter where they play, they could play in north Korea and have a possibility of nuclear war if they lose and still win easily without an effort. I know they got beaten this week but a team that has only ONE loss all year is not going to leave any points at the table against a team like Brighton.
I was saying the same for Liverpool. Also Man City should not have any problem too to win against Wolves. Tottenham vs Man U is going to be a challenging match but my bet will be for Tottenham.

It would be really weird, this is soccer after all and stranger things have happened (looking at you Leicester) but at this stage unless they make a huge mistake its an easy win for both teams. On the other side United really needs to win this game, they are on a roll right now and if they can win this it would mean they will fight for the top (not top 2) however if they lose it would set them back a bit once again.

Absolutely agree , betting in the goals category is the safest for this game as it could swing anywhere but we are sure going to expect a lot of goals, we don't really know if Manchester United's current form is a fluke or not and it makes the outcome of the game difficult to predict so i will stay on the fence and bet over 2,5 goals.
The book makers are also giving over 2.5 goals a benefit. They are assuming that the match has more chance to have over 2.5 goals than to have under. We certainly can to tell the outcome of who is going to win but it's easier to say that there will be scores.

I am gonna take Tottenham 's side

That was a great kick in the face of the goal keeper lol and a great save as well  Cheesy
Anyway, congrats for the win.
That's football. The 22 player fight hard in the ground and we expect everything in our favor  Grin
I am looking forward to the next round. Hope Man City, Liverpool get easy wins. Not sure about Tottenham vs Man U

I dont think that it will be easy win for Liverpool as they are playing in away game and Brighton have benefit of home ground and they are good in defending, Man City home ground benefit should be their but i think we can expect draw in this match.

Tottenham vs Man utd, Tottenham is playing in their home ground which they should take benefit and win it, we can expect lot of goals, go for 2.5 and 3.5 goals and both team to score goal as both team have conceded the goal in their most of the game.

Its been an entertaining game so far and I just hope there will be another goal scored before the end as I have my bet on over 3.5 goals for this match.
Just one more goal needed. It was close.

Anyway, League is now more competitive.  Liverpool is only 4 points ahead than Man City.

Close and intertaining game indeed, should have tied if Man city mistakenly made an own goal. That was a great kick in the face of the goal keeper lol and a great save as well  Cheesy
Anyway, congrats for the win.

EPL is a very competitive league, after Liverpool defeat we will be more enthusiastic to continue to pay attention to the chaos that might occur after their schedules are getting tight with CL and EL. Concerns with players who might be injured in the middle of the trip and reserve players who have good quality are the key to the team being consistent towards the top I think.
Absolutely, the CL will play a big role in how the english teams will prepare to face both competitions in the upcoming months. I believe Man City are the ones with the bigger squad so perhaps they can face both the CL and the EPL without an issue. Liverpool on the other hand, it feels like they don't have much "quality" outside of their starting XI, it'll be interesting to see how Klopp manages to stay competitive in both competitions.

But I think if Liverpool were to choose which competition they'd like to go all-in this season, I think it would be the Premier League.

Am I the only one that though game was a bit too "rigid" (for lack of a better word) or is it just me? I mean don't get me wrong we still saw the great players doing what they do best but it felt like all 22 people hold back a bit instead of going all out. We know what they are capable of when they use 100% of their power and talents and this felt like a bit... bland.
Same here. To me it felt like the players were too afraid to make mistakes because they knew it could cost them the match, so they decided to play it safe most of the time...We still had a decent match, maybe our expectations for the game were too high? I don't know.

Firmino has been on a great roll lately and made another goal today, he really knows where to be and when to be there, if we were playing Football Manager I would expect 20 positioning skills. Salah didn't do that much but he was still a presence and that that "gravity" to him. That first "goal" of Liverpool should have been given, I can't really see a millimeter of the ball on the line but that "all of the ball should leave the line" BS seems to be getting worse each year, I understand not half of it gone but it was just a tiiiiny fraction if even that much on the line. Sane was amazing once again, I love that man, he is both incredibly fast and also has insane ball control.

Congrats Man city winning the match and living in the series for strong contender to win the EPL
I was expecting a 2 - 1 result but for Liverpool LOL The match was entertaining and Man City deserved the win

I was amazed with the first goal scored by Sergio Aguero against Liverpool today, there was not much space for him to shoot from that angle but he is still able to fire in a goal. I think it was a very good decision made by Pep Guardiola to field Sergio Aguero into the starting line ups today, even though Liverpool did managed to equalize the score in the second half of the match, but Manchester City are still able to beat Liverpool in front of their home fans with the scoreline of 2-1. Manchester City are only falling behind Liverpool with 4 points now after today victory and Tottenham are 6 points behind Liverpool, I guess there is still a chance for both of these teams to catch up with Liverpool now until the end of this season.

Yup...  I don't think Gabriel Jesus could handle the pressure as well as Aguero.  The latter has the experience in these crucial, tough matches.

And thank God for goal line technology.  Lololool.  Cheesy

It was good game to watch. Looked like City were controlling the game but that was the case against Chelsea as well, and we saw the result there. Liverpool had their chances  and this could easily gone both ways. I don't like the Liverpool starting midfield line, most of the times they haven't put any effort of making the attacks. City did some pressing it let to many wrong long passes by Liverpool and City gaining the ball again fast.
The Etihad stadium was able to provide strong confidence in the Manchester City team, even Manchester City was able to give satisfaction because it could lead ahead of the first goal given by Sergio Aguero in the first round. however, the attack given by Liverpool in the 17th minute was very tense because it almost scored earlier if it was not thwarted by the goalpost. but until the match is over Manchester City can win the match and have an additional 3 points and success gets back to second place in the standings

I believe the league is still open to fight for now that the points have been bridged to 4 points and there are plenty of games to play. I think Liverpool look fantastic even in defeat and should they continue like this it will be difficult for the other teams to claim the title this season.
